To this most incredible man I call DAD, Happy Father's Day to you and all fathers around the globe. My father didn't have the chance to go to school, but he would intellectulize himself in his adulthood for the sake of his children and his community. For this special day, let me tell you few things about my dad that make me more proud of him as a father. #1 When I was born, my dad argued with my mom about my name " Tourki". For my father, Tourki is a famous name of most intellectual people in the country. It was his hope for me to be like them. #2 He sent me to school when I was 4 years ( the normal age was 6). He argued with my mom again, and he said " if he goes to school now, he might be one of the youngest students in town by the age of 18, dispite the traditional customs of memorising the Quoran." #3 He is the father that we would argue when I told him that I am going to the US back in 2016. I was supprised even couldn't say any word and from his intellectual level to say, "Tourki, I don't want you to tell me that you're going to the US, rather, what will you gain for your future?" Honestly, I was like, " Is dad ok?",๐Ÿ˜‚ In the US? Dad do you need any other outcome?๐Ÿ˜‚. The best thing I love from him is his leadership and empowerment attitude in our family. He doesn't overpower, he doesn't put much influence, but he always respect our choices ( school, life in general and political choices). Who would believe my Dad is politically opposed to my older brother without affecting our family relationship? Thank you Dad to be the amazing in our life. #LaFamille_MohamedAli https://www.instagram.com/p/ByyYzDYB0XI/?igshid=rcd63qe7thmo
