Exactly 2yrs ago at this moment THIS was my view of @portugaltheman Birmingham, AL. I wasn't supposed to have a ticket for that show, but I thank my lucky stars for that website's glitch for making that night possible. I had no money for hotel & just hungout after the show. With a broken ankle I had made some friends with the local security peeps earlier in the day & 2 lads were staying with me as not to leave me alone on the streets of Birmingham at 1am. Being my therapist self I started working on their shoulder aches & pains...I guess @zacharycarothers saw us because next thing I know he crouched down on the cement next to me & with a look of pain in his eyes he says to me "do u know hand massage? My hands are killing me!" We ended up having one of the coolest & meaningful HUMAN conversations I've ever had - life, scars (physical & emotional), told tales of our childhoods, & of course MUSIC!!!! - all while I performed deep tissue massage on his hands. @zacharycarothers wasn't a rockstar (shortly after a GRAMMY WINNER), he was just himself & I am forever honored for that memory. My one "Mary dumb bitch" that I still cringe thinking about - @666rallier666 @portugaltheman John, goddamn my sarcastic joking bustin balls self cuz I think I may have scared u away LOL.
