I sent one of my high school friends Ladykiller In A Bind like three years ago and she never played it, but the discord we hang out in together occasionally does narrated playthroughs of hentai VN's on stream and I got her to run it. Fortunately I already trade horny webcomic recommendations with her sometimes so this is so normal.

I forgot how good Ladykiller is. Genuinely takes advantage of the visual novel format in a great way, rather than having you pursue a single character for romance reasons you can choose to follow several personal plot points and/or play various strong personalities off each other for your own gain.

Any yuri/ GL reccomendations? Especially for someone who mostly reads BL/yaoi (aka GL recs for fujo/fundanshis lol)

thank you! I don't read a lot of yuri, fengqing is actually my first yuri ship (I'm committed to the bit now, send help). The zine was probably inspired by my having recently read yaoi zine 2 which has some discussion of the contrasts between yaoi and yuri.

A yuri manga that I have read recently and can recommend is Kitanai Kimi ga Ichiban Kawaii, it's a kinky and psychological story which should suit your tastes if you like that in BL.

My other recommendation is a fantasy novel series called The Locked Tomb, starting with the book Gideon the Ninth. If you like TGCF's combo of fantasy + colorful ensemble cast + humour + fucked up immortals unable to move on from their past + mega gay + etc, read The Locked Tomb!! It is the closest thing I know to TGCF but with girls (this is my "getting a lot of boss baby vibes")

TLT is the perfect example of yuri for fujoshis AKA girl yaoi. The main two girls fight, power struggle, insult each other like crazy and are obsessed/devoted to each other, it's also full of other lesbian situationships. And yes they are literally lesbians it's not ambiguous or shipping bait.

Nevermore is indeed an amazing time! The angst! The horror! The supernatural! They mystery! The Poe references! The gay! Shiloh is also very good, but much different. Not as much the self contained story as it is a very wide narrative bouncing between multiple casts of characters, several of whom are, last I reckoned, naturally opposed to each other.

I also second Mage and Demon Queen. It's fun, doesn't take itself too seriously at all, and is a great little fantasy romo that pokes some fun at common fantasy/anime type tropes.

Some other comics that I enjoy on Webtoons are Newman, Muted, Elf & Warrior, Nothing Special, Woven, Lovebot, The Last Dimension, Realta, Seed, Sugar & Swords, Forever After, The Weekly Roll, Suitor Armor, Ladykillers, Crow Time, Blacksmith, and Of Swamp & Sea.

This isn't even an exhaustive list, just the ones I really wanted to list! These are all different and will appeal to different people for different reasons. Some are silly and have no real story, others are very detailed and in depth, some are ongoing and others are finished, some are explicitly sapphic or gay and others don't really touch on romance at all, but all of them are good and well worth a read in my opinion.

Bonus mention for Aurora, a webcomic made by Red from Overly Sarcastic Productions. Beautiful art, fascinating story, and super cool world building. Not on Webtoons though, you have to go to the comicaurora.com site to read it, and it's very worth it!
