I had been re-reading "The Third Gift" by @anotheroceanid and a couple of stories and headcanons about Athenide, I had been wondering, other then Athenide's condition as a goddess, what if Athenide was born a infant instead of a fully grown goddess?

And not a regular infant goddess but one that grew at the same pace as that of a mortal child before she stops aging in her late teenage years but regardless, still has a adult mind, and is self aware and such - similar to how reborn child protagonists in isekai genre in anime and manhwa are? Like manhwa such as Arthur from The Beginning After the End, Caliope from Lady Baby, Athanasia from Who Made Me a Princess and Enisha from Beloved Little Princess are.

Can you imagine Zeus's headache? As Athenide's custody would be far from simple and something that he can't easily fix by splitting custody of Athenide with Athenide living with one parent for one half of the year and then living with the other parent for reminder of the year. Instead it includes meetings, custody arrangements, parenting plans and agreements that would change overtime as Athenide grows older before custody plans and arrangements fully set when she stops aging at sixteen.

Can you imagine the highs and lows that Athena and Poseidon would experience in raising Athenide as an infant? To be able to experience the joys of raising a child from infancy, the first and only experience time they would experience this as for Athena, all her other children that she would have in the future, are all mortal and due to the laws, she is unable to raise them herself even if she wanted to. A similar sentiment goes for Poseidon as like Athena, he can't raise his mortal children due to the laws and for his other children, gods and goddesses they grow and mature fast within a blink of an eye.

Imagine the envy all the other gods and goddesses would have on Athena and Poseidon as Athenide grows at the same pace to that of mortals, letting Athena and Poseidon to be able to cherish and savor Athenide's youth unlike that of other gods and goddesses's divine children that grows so fast that they aren't able to fully enjoy the childhood of divine offspring? Or maybe not having the enjoy it at all as some divine children are born fully grown and they don't get to experience it? I mean they're are their demigod children who due to being mortals, grow at mortal pace and all but they can't really raise them and experience the joys of parenthood when they're are laws preventing them from being in their mortal kid's lives. Because of this, the envy the other gods and goddesses would have on Poseidon and Athena would be immense!

And imagine the hardships and struggles of co-parenting that Poseidon and Athena would experience and face respectively and for different reasons Like for Athena, it that she's struggling as a new mom, a mom to a infant goddess at that and goddesses such as Hestia amd Demeter helping her out with Demeter becoming a secondary mother to Athenide and Athenide being a second Persephone figure to her, while Persephone is with Hades.

And how about, instead of falling head over heels in love with Athenide straight away, how about a slow burn for Apollo? However before Apollo could act on it, Athena as Athenide grows older and more lovelier with Athenide gradually growing up into her teenage years, Athena start rounding up oaths and all from all the other gods and goddesses in order for her to protect Athenide. Sure I know in other Athenide stories, Athena had done it earlier and such but in my take of the Athenide universe with Athenide being born a infant and all, I imagine that Athena didn't have to worry about such things like gods going after Athenide until Athenide reached her adolescent years.

Like imagine the storylines that would come from a coming of age story about a goddess before you know, Athenide's eventual death and rebirth in the Athenide universe. Anyway apologies about this ramble, had been on my mind for some time!

1. Who was the first deity you worked with?

LADY HESTIA MY BELOVED <3!!! I'll never forget it. The day i decided i was ready for deity worship she came to me while i was meditating. She was always my favorite of the Gods when i was learning about them simply as figures in Greek mythology before i began my journey, so feeling her radiating warmth for myself was such a magical moment. She's been with me ever since.

2. Who do you work with now?

I technically work with the entire Greek pantheon to some extent, but i consider myself a devotee of Hestia, Aphrodite, Artemis (Selene), Hecate & Nyx!

3. What’s your favorite aspect of your practice?

I love doing Tarot!! I use it both as a communication channel with my deities and as a means of divination in general. It's just so useful and versatile!

4. What’s something you want to get better at?

Tarot & Praying.

Tarot: I have a decent grasp on tarot but I've gotten readings from professional readers and I've always admired just how much information they can gleam from the cards.

Praying: I currently pray pretty casually because it's hard for me to remember formal prayers, but eventually it'd like to practice maybe writing my own formal prayers so that they're easier to remember

People are always saying they need more witchy/pagan mutuals so I thought this would be a fun way to find them while getting to talk about your practice!

Who, if anyone, was the first deity(s) you worked with?

Hermes was the first deity that I made the conscious decision to worship though I had always been drawn to paganism. I made a tiny altar, devotional drawings, playlists, and a journal to him. I quickly added Athena and Apollo after that, but it became too overwhelming, and I got burnt out. I stopped practicing for about four years until I started again this year.

Who, if anyone, is the deity(s) you’re working with now?

Artemis was the one who reached out to me this time. She had been sending me a bunch of incredibly obvious signs that took me abt six months to finally notice (my bad lol) but I'm very happy with her now. Athena has also been more present, whereas she was more in the background the first time I tried Hellenism, and now she sits with me at work. Hermes dips in and out and Apollo's the one who's been more in the background. I would like to strengthen my relationship with them because I miss them.

What’s your favorite aspect of your practice? (Ex: doing tarot, celebrating holidays, casting spells, etc)

I like getting things for my altar. It makes me so happy knowing that my gods will like whatever I'm getting; I love getting presents for ppl I care abt. I haven't collected everything into one central altar yet but I'm very excited for when I do.

What’s something you want to get better at?

I want to get better at tarot. I've been doing it for a few years now but I'm still 100% reliant on the guidebook the cards came with and am not very good at making my own interpretations. I'm hoping I'll get better at it with time but it has been quite a while...
