Anora Mac Tir

Born 9:07 - 9:08 Dragon. She was taken to court and betrothed to Cailan in 9:10. They have only been married for 5 years in 9:30, meaning they got married in 9:25. Cailan turned 18 in 9:23, and was 20 years old in 9:25 when he ascended to the throne.

Queen Consort of Fereldan who ruled in all but name, and then became Queen Regnant of Fereldan. She is her father's daughter, incredibly pragmatic. She was assumed barren after no pregnancies occurred in 5 years despite Cailan having no bastards and several affairs.

Ariya Mahariel.

Potential Grey Warden. A Dalish elf from the Sabrae clan, she was to be bonded to Tamlen. A rogue hunter of the clan, she was rarely seen a part from the hunters. She hunted her first pelt alone at 17 years old, and was one of the best hunters in the entire clan, held back by only her curiosity.

Cecily Trevelyan

The youngest of four (or five) children of the noble Trevelyan family in Ostwick. Cecily was supposed to become a lay sister of the chantry after three marriage negotiations fell through. Instead, at fifteen she started an illicit relationship with a mage from the Ostwick circle. When that boy went missing mysteriously, Cecily's mage powers manifested. She was sent to the Kirkwall circle. Her elder sister, Eleanor is the future Lady Trevelayan, while her two brothers are Templars. She does not wish to live in a circle, and quite frankly has issues with the circle authority.

Cecily is a potential Inquisitor / Advisor. In some aus with @forallofthedas she is Princess Consort of Starkhaven.

Ciara Surana

Hailing from the Highever Alienage, Ciara has lived in the Fereldan Circle since she was 5 years old. She is very distinguished in the circle, and ran it despite neither being the First or a Templar.

A potential Hero of Fereldan, if she chooses Alistair to be King, she will settle at court as his mage advisor and prunes unwanted enemies who intend to take advantage of her favourite friend. She is charming, ruthless, and very much a friend you want to have. She is 25 during Origins.

Demelza "Demz" Hawke

Champion of Kirkwall, and the personal thorn in Cullen Rutherford's ass. Demelza grew up in Lothering with her family. A purple Hawke, she often favoured her brother Carver but always made time for her sister Bethany. She saw very much that their father focused on herself and Bethany as mages, and sought to ensure that both siblings got the amount of parenting they needed.

A menace, she worked for a year in Kirkwall to pay off her debt before meeting her companions. A mage rights supporter, it is not uncommon to find her terrorising Meredith and other Templars. She is Aveline's political headache. Bisexual Chaos.

Juniper Tabris.

Hailing from the Denerim Alienage, Juniper is harsh, shaped by her experience with humans. She has a remarkable difference when interacting with other elves, particularly women, and holds a great distrust of human men. Kidnapped and assaulted on her wedding day, Juniper was 17 / 18, during the events of the Fifth Blight, and was more direct and to the point than was reasonable. She became the Dark Wolf of Denerim, and once called Arl Eamon a fake Fereldan. She became the Warden Commander of Amarantine, but proved very politically unpopular among the Warden elite as she favoured wardens that did not outrank her. She has issues with authority, and that extended to wardens who thought they understood blights and social classes better than she did. Has called several different First Wardens "a cunt" to their faces. Her disappearance from Fereldan sparked multiple conspiracies. You'll more often find her with the common people as she chafes at being forced to deal with politics and "cunts".

Lailani Lavellan.

A potential Inquisitor / Ambassador. As she is considered one of the kindest people to walk Thedas, she is quite often SEVERELY underestimated. It was once thought her advisors walked all over her and she was merely a figure head for rhe inquisition. She proved that wrong when at only 21 years old, the elvish mage dog walked Orlais' highest nobility into not only working together, but blackmailed them into essentially being her political puppets. She will not embarrassed, and she is unafraid of appearing like it is her first day on this Earth as she has endless questions to ask. She is a fantastic politician, and she has a cunning streak. Destroyed Corypheus emotionally in battle no less than two times. She wields insults against her as weapons against those who spoke them. The Avvar as an entire people love this little elf. Beloved as much as she loves others.

Nerys aka Rook de Riva

Born in 9:28 in Fereldan, a descendent of Inquisitor Ameridan, Dalish elf Nerys Ghil'ain was snatches by Tevinter Slavers in 9:32. Where Elvish had once been her first language, she was forcibly assimilated into Tevinter culture, being molded into a Tevene speaker. At the age of 8 she poisoned her master in Antiva and fled. She did not get very far, as she grew hungry, and stole food from Crows. Even as a child, she had long developed a habit of cheating at card games, and she amused them so much they started calling her the little Rook. After that she was trained as a Crow, even after her magic manifested. A headstrong woman with a penchant for shit jokes and an outlandish ego, Nerys has a habit of compulsively lying about who she is and her background as she feels that way is safer than revealing the truth. To learn the truth is to have all the trust of Nerys.

She has relearnt Elvish and taken Vallaslin to honour her heritage. She is extremely prickly about it, and speaks in a Fereldan accent as she feels she would have one if she weren't robbed of her childhood. The nickname of Rook stuck. She has often taken on other aliases such as "Nerys Laidir", "Nerys Thorne", "Nerys Mercar", "Nerys Aldwir" and "Nerys Ingellvar" depending on where she is and if she needs to be separated from Crow business.

Shira Dresner.

A companion to the Warden Commander of Amarantine. Her father hails from the Anderfels. Half Elven, Shira spent the first 5 years of her life living in Lothering, before being sent to the circle when she accidentally burnt down a barn. She might have had a better time if a boy tormenting her hadn't been inside the barn. She was severely abused in the circle, and as such grew a strong distaste for the Chantry, Andraste, Templars, and all the brothers and sisters that lived in the tower. She escaped at the age of 18 just after the end of the Blight, and was conscripted into the Grey Wardens. When you meet Shira, you wouldn't know anything of her history save her great fearful reactions when templars or former templars are near. She refuses to step foot in any chantry.

I haven’t watched the movie yet but tbh I almost wish they didn’t cast C*vill since the thirsting over him is like lowkey annoying for a movie of one of my favorite middle grade series and like yeah I know people can multitask but :|

god I hope people aren’t gonna start shipping Enola with Little Lord Fauntleroy because if you read the books she only thinks of him as an annoying little boy (despite the fact that he’s actually not much younger than her) and he never reappears as far as I can remember; Lady Cecily Alistair who Enola meets and rescues in book 2 is the one who a) Enola has chemistry with and b) most definitely has feelings for and c) actually reappears in book 4.
