"Shit!"

Blitzo yelps and curses as he tries, mostly in vain, to avoid the storm of oranges Verosika is raining on him. He manages to dodge a couple, but the goddamn fruits keep coming, and from different directions too.

"Hey! Sto-...ow!...You crazy bitch, would you...fuck!...STOP IT!" He shouts, fully knowing that the succubus will not, at least until she's satisfied.

He takes a couple of clumsy steps on the side, enough to avoid the orange that was aiming straight for his forehead, but he ends up stepping on another one as a consequence.

The imp uselessly flails his arms in the air, but he can't find his balance in time. He falls down, face first, hitting the ground with a low groan of pain.

After that, he doesn't move and just keeps lying there. He knows when he's defeated. She's won. ...At least for now.

 Fizzarolli stared at her for a good few moments. He frowned at her as he moved closer to her and knelt. His hand moved to touch her shoulder lightly just in case she didn’t want to be touched. He looked at the table of how many glasses there was before back at her and he offered a smile as she spoke to him.

Verosika didn't really have any problems with Loona. She wasn't shitty enough to lump all of Blitzo's friends and family in the same fucked up basket as him. Plus, Loona didn't annoy her like some of the other members of I.M.P. Plus, Tex had spoke positively about her, so she kind of wanted to see her for herself.

Opportunity knocked, and Verosika answered. When she was given an order that she didn't pay for 'on the house' because the manager was such a 'huge fan', she didn't protest. Knowing this was exactly the opening she needed.

She was glad her offering was well received, and she slid into the chair fluidly.

"I would." Verosika said, opening her bottled water. She had actually cut back on her drinking significantly. The fish incident was a reminder to only drink when the Beelzejuice was around nothing dangerous. She didn't day drink anymore.

"Heard from Tex you went to his hound party, did you like that kinda scene?" She asked, wanting to get to know Loona. See if she was the right kind of person to hang around, or even have Tex hang around.

She was protective of her friends and of the company she kept, so Verosika needed to make sure things were okay.

Ooooo, that looked like something even Moxxie didn't necessarily wanna get involved with. He did not have good memories of Verosika at all from the few interactions they've had. And knowing Blitz, they would drive right past her anyway. "It's quite unfortunate, but I'm not sure we can...help?" He muses seeing Blitz actually look...conflicted?

Why in the FUCK was he feeling so conflicted?! He doesn't wanna get involved with her, he doesn't wanna fucking see her, he wants to drive by her, honking his fucking horn and insulting her! Why does he even have a desire to help her?! He knows they'll get swarmed, but...GAH! Stupid fucking lizard...he slams the breaks and stops by Verosika, rolling the window down.

"Get the fuck in, quick!" He yells at her. He was only going to be quick. If she doesn't get in now, he's not stopping for her again.

She noticed any car that stopped to help another would be swarmed, she was glad they weren't stopping. Weapons or not, they'd be easily overwhelmed like the others were. She could see the Elevator hub in the distance, it was still a bit away from them but they were making good time. "Do you think we'll have to wait long before boardin'?"

Loona on the other hand was distracted by a familiar convertible ahead, it looked like it's back tire had blown. "Dad! Isn't that Verosika?!" She asked as the agitated popstar paced beside her car, shouting and cursing into her phone.

"I don't fucking CARE if you're already in Lust! GET YOUR ASS UP HERE AND FUCKING HELP ME!" She yelled into her phone before chucking it aside in frustration. She put her head in her hands with a groan, only looking up when she heard the van approaching.

Blitzo jumped out of his skin at the unexpected, quite violent intrusion. He instantly whipped his head in the direction of the door and his eyes went wide at the sight of Verosika. Of all the people who could have barged into his office, his ex was the last he would have expected to see.

"What the f--!" He started to yell, but he couldn't finish the sentence because the next moment he was being grabbed without a warning and engaged in a forceful kiss that was more teeth and tongue than lips.

He found himself responding after having remained frozen for a moment, mostly out of habit and muscle memory more than anything else.

And then, just as abruptly as it had started, it was all over and Verosika was marching out of the office, leaving him stunned and utterly confused.

"...What the fuck was all...that about?"

Fizz couldn't stand the sight of blood, even less the smell of it... It honestly made him sick to his stomach. A pretty big problem when you lived in hell. The only thing that kept him somewhat grounded in this moment, was that Verosika was there with him, and that she had done this for him... but it still felt like it was just a little too much.

Man, he hated being a burden to others..
