Tbh I've always felt that Enzo was much more similar to Kol, if only for the "role" they covered in the show: being sarcastic, sassy, mischievous vampires who truly thrive on this kind of existence. Not good or bad vampires, more like flexible in their action and values. I have always felt that Kol was much more loyal, wiser and reliable than Klelijah believed him to be. And even if they weren't opposite, just imagine Kol and Enzo interacting!!!

Oh my god so much this though. Like, even though they’re “bad” they’re not really malicious in it? I feel like Kol and Enzo are two of the most amoral characters in the show in the truest sense.

Michael is sooo much better than Ian or Paul in my opinion. Bad or good writing, he was always consistent with his performance.His transformation scenes are among the best on TVD, he is so talented and so underrated. I also love how supportive of each other are Candice and Michael. I still wish that TVD had a spinoff of werewolves with Tyler as protagonist and also Caroline, you know their struggles in the supernatural, two opposites worlds colliding because of their bond...

I definitely agree.  All the actors have had their moments to shine, but Trevino pulled off Tyler’s first transition so well and it was such a strong performance throughout the episode.  Trevino is a very strong actor, and that was evident in not only in his transition scenes, but also in his dramatic ones as well (all the scenes with Klaus, Tyler as Klaus, Tyler coming out to Carol, and Tyler/Caroline’s goodbyes).  Plus, he’s got great comedic timing (when Tyler was allowed to be funny/flirty).  I still believe that Trevino is/was the strongest actor among the cast.  It was a huge shame that the writers didn’t utilize him more often like they should have.  

Oh, I would have given anything for a werewolf spin-off with Tyler and Caroline.  Werewolf mythology is just so damn interesting, traumatic and dark.  I’m forever bitter that a lot of the werewolf mythology on TVD went to The Originals.  Tyler was a more deserving character IMO.

it really is a pity, how kate is yet another female ruined by horrible writing and tropes of society’s gaze. somehow she’s this magical mature 30 yr old trapped in a 17 yr old virgin body and people worship her, labeling her a victim and a savior, yet ship her with the most downright dirty, self-serving (self-seriving includes richie, bc they’re basically halves of a whole) criminal who’s in his thirties, already lived his life & knows what he wants. kate hasn’t, yet she somehow knows exactly what she wants in life (to the fandom (and to the writing in certain scenes when it’s convenient)).

side note: i will literally never get over how the shippers romanticize that table scene in the twister lmao buuuuut it seems like season will have kate veer off into having her own story of ‘redemption’ (redemption in scott’s eyes, bc she ditched him and basically yelled at him the entire first season. yet she’s “so innocent” and “so pure” lmao). but i am looking forward to that! bc the fandom forgets kate is actually teenager, so she’s not where she wants to be yet, so i’m excited to see her and scott reunited. so hopefully that’ll turn out to be nice! i can’t wait to see her parted from seth on her own journey to find her brother. & there aren’t many spoilers, but the ones i did read were mega interesting. i could tell you if you wanted? but idk if you like to be spoiled like i do :p
