She’s looking at him with a pinched-up expression that’s becoming increasingly familiar. It’s nice, in a way; the recognition of it makes Felix feel like he’s getting to know her. flashes her the same smile he’s had on for days now, three-quarters too mean to be Adrien’s. He hopes she’s acclimating to it as well.

“You can’t let them take a close look at you,” Marinette says, matter-of-factly, as if he doesn’t know it already.  “The hair-dye’s going to work from a distance, but anyone’s going to know you’re not a real ginger.”

“Alright.”

Her eyebrows screw closer together. Something in it makes him want to laugh.

He offers her a hand instead.

“I know the plan. We made it together. Shall we go and get on with it?”

She looks down at it, then back up at him. Then their fingers are intertwined, matching rings rubbing against each other, and she’s smiling, three-quarters too tired to be lovely.

“Let’s go.”

What if Bruce knows/knew the Agrests? I mean what if Bruce in his studies and training found mentions of the miraculous and even crossed paths with Gabriel in Tibet!? To have knowledge that could have saved Kitty Nior but not be able to have done anything cause he was dead at the time or w/e, the guilt and anger would eat him up! He’d probably want to reach out to Laddybug to at least offer a sympathetic ear, he understands the grief Adrien is going through. and you can’t tell me Harley, a former psychologist, wouldn’t take the chance to someone to help her bby find a better way to cope from someone she can trust!

Or worse! (Cause be honest we’re all here for angst) Not only does Bruce know about the miraculous and met Gabriel but he visited the man on business and met Adrien as well. He saw the neglect and the signs of a kid doing vigilante work but he can’t do anything without proof. So he goes back to Gotham to make his case and track down more info on the guardians AND THATS WHEN he gets hit with temporary death syndrome. Only coming back a short time after the reveal/death. So help could have come but the JL didn’t think to snoop in the cave or took the case as a low priority cause ‘hey /they/ lost a member so what if some no name criminal uses people’s emotions to try and steal jewelry?! JL deals with big problems and the heroes there are doing just fine’

They make a deal, Emilie pretends to be pregnant and Harls gets sent pictures of her child.

Gabriel is happy, but his wife is on an almost long business trip, a trip he doesn't know is a lie. So he doesn't suspect a thing.

Adrien is born, having Harls looks but Emilie knows she can pass him off as hers. Thankfully she lied to Gabriel that she was 2 months along when she told him the wonderful news.

Adrien was a pre-mature baby but Emilie didn't mind.

The thing with the miraculous happens, but ij this au he gets the ladybug miraculous and Mari the cat.

And she's killed in the final battle, he's 18 and she 17 years old, because she had used cataclysm to destroy something, it falls on her and Hawkmoth.

Hawkmoth is left paralyzed, but Mari was crushed a second after her transformation dropped.

Amilie knows what her sister did. She comes clean.

The entire world is shocked.

Especially who Hawkmoth is, Adrien is hurt and drops his transformation not caring that the world can see him now.

Hawkmoth screams in pain and heartbrokenness as he realizes who Kitty Noir was.

Making the world feel shock.

So is the justice league who weren't aware of the situation because of someone in the call center putting it off as a joke. More so Bats because he had been gone for a while, died and came back alive.

Harls forgot all about her baby until she sees the news, and is shocked to see a heartbroken blonde frantically moving rubble as his fingers bleed from the glass and sharp edges of the pieces that fell on Mari.

The world's blood runs cold as they hear the gut wrenching screams from the blonde model/superhero as he realizes its too late to save his friend who became an intern for his father.

And Harls and Ivy rush to Paris to retrieve her son.

Adrien clutches a pink sketchbook that's decorated in flowers and has an intricate M close to his chest when they see him. A ton of boxes really full of small stuff that are of Mari's.

Just imagine that.
