Ditto for most of Eastern Europe, which for decades was fed on Fiat's scraps - I mean, the 126 was still being made in 2000!!! The Lexus IS was hot on the shelves and they were still selling a car you could pull-start! And what about the Riva??? The Russians kept that chassis going FOUR DECADES after we stopped making the 124 it was based on!

are we talking from now on or also retroactively? if we’re talkin just like kill off a company now without losing everything they’ve ever made, i would say maybe mitsubishi. they’re on their last legs anyway, it would be kind of a mercy killing given what they’ve become. the outlander isn’t awful but if it ceased to be it’s a niche with plenty of better options. i do adore their older models though, love the first couple gens of eclipse and i straight up screamed when i saw an imported jdm lancer evo on the road recently

if we’re going retroactive too, as much as i hate to i think i’d say fiat. their cars now are built terribly and they’re driving chrysler and jeep into the ground. i love their older cars and it would suck to potentially lose abarth, but i think basically every car they’ve ever made has a competitor that’s just as good. it would be tragic to lose the original topolino though

if we’re doing just a single car model though? ford edge. absolutely purposeless suv that i had the displeasure of driving recently. i’m sorry to any ford edge drivers who might follow me but i hated that thing and have never understood why anyone other than rental car companies bought it over a ford escape or other competitor smaller suv

The FSB has published a video of the “attack by Ukrainian saboteurs,” which the Russian authorities reported on March 2. It is the first video footage to emerge in the day since that has passed since the attack. The footage appears to be heavily edited.

The video shows two automobiles, though only one car was mentioned in the first reports of the “sabotage.” The first clip shows a Lada Riva with bullet holes in the body and broken windows. The second clip shows a Lada Niva with punctured tires but no other visible damage.

Both clips show dead bodies inside the cars. In the video featuring the Riva, shots of the body have been blurred out, and something resembling blood is visible inside the car. The Telegram channel Mozhem Obyasnit (We Can Explain) notes that the car is located in one place in the video and in another in photographs.

The Niva (which President Putin said the “saboteurs” shot up) is shown in a short video clip and two photographs. In the video, the car is on the road, but the photos show it standing in a ditch. The first photo of the car was shot from outside, the second from inside — it shows the back of a deceased person.

No Lada Riva was mentioned in previous reports of “sabotage” in Bryansk.

The FSB video also shows pictures of a landmine, a handheld anti-tank grenade launcher, and one cartridge case. However, only one of the photos shows the actual surroundings where the weapons were allegedly found. The other photos are close-ups, making it impossible to confirm whether they were taken at the scene of the reported incident.

YESSS. God I love Ladas so much. But I like most Russian vehicles, there's always some unique design element that I just really find enjoyable lmao 😭💖

Fun story, @milabazal2002 you might like this too lmao, the first time I ever rode in a Lada it was an old 70s/80s Soviet made Lada which I think had been somehow illegally imported to the UK at some point (this was in London lol)

and long story short I had been hanging out with my tattoo artist and she was driving me back to Earls Court station, hence the need for the Lada

and it was the most wonderfully Russian interior imaginable: a beautiful carpet was draped over the backseat like a giant seat cover, there was a tiny Matryoshka doll hanging from a loop of string on the rear view mirror, and the dashboard had been customised at some point to have some kind of leather dash covering that had some flowers embroidered on the glove compartment

I have no idea how it ended up in the UK, my tattoo artist said she got it from a friend of a friend (as is often the way lmao), and I have no idea what specific model it was but I'm pretty sure it was a heavily customised late 70s/early 80s Lada Riva

I love that fucking car. It handled even the shittiest London roads like a pro, this car could not be destroyed. It looked like it had maybe 500 repairs done across decades, none of them using the technically required components, and it ran perfectly fine.

I hope that car is still owned by my old tattoo artist lmao, it was the coolest fucking car ever, so tiny, yet so strong. Best interior I've ever seen in a car. The carpet in the backseat? That's fucking genius. It has holes cut in it for seatbelts which I think were added or replaced later. LOL

Ok I got to ask. HOW ALL TRANSFORMERS HAVING LUXURIOUS VIHECLE MODE AND DIDN'T DRAW ANY ATTENTION TO THEMSELVES? Knockout is an goddeam Aston Martin one-77 it has only been 77 copies it the world and he cost 1.5 milion dolars, even in the show one person recognized him as European model. Wheeljack and Smokescreen are both expensive cars and Arcee is expensive motorcycle. If anything else they would probably end up on the internet and Decepticons would see them. How, especially Knockout with such a rare model? Also I think it would be funny if we had transformers that can transform into something cheap like Audi A4 or Fiat mini Cooper or something like that.
