There are many things to do during your visit to Labuan. One of the most popular attractions on the island is the Labuan War Cemetary. This cemetery contains several memorials to the fallen soldiers of World War II. This includes soldiers from North Borneo, Sarawak and Brunei as well as India, Australia and the UK. A memorial service is held here on Remembrance Day every year. Labuan Island (or Pulau Labuan), is a small, duty-free island just off the coast of Sabah in ​Borneo. Despite being only a few hours by boat from Borneo's tourist hub Kota Kinabalu, Labuan Island is strangely void of Western travelers.
