(9/366) Zutara- the scarf scene

Yeaaah... I was like audibly "AaaaaaaaAaaaaaaaa" and screaming inside "ZUTARA CRUMBS !!" OTL in front of my TV when this scene appeared!! Hahahaha

It was fun experience... XD

(my family saw me...I know they judge me but anyway....😂😂)

I was glad they add a bit of Zuko and Katara interaction other than battle (the dialogue during the final battle in NP pretty funny too...tho unfortunately no that legendary lines of sun and moon 🫠)

I think episode 3 was my favorite because there's a lot of Jet and Live Action Jet is so HANDSOME.. (he looks like One Piece Ace (in my imagination at least). At the beginning I thought he was the shorthaired Haru.. but apparently no Haru at all 🫠

Anyway..this zutara art is one of my first art that released in Tumblr first.. xD

I really want to draw Jet, Hahn and Suki now... although I don't really like Suki liveaction potrayal because she's more awkward hahaha (I missed confident and sassy Suki)

What come in my mind when I saw the prompt?

Joking aside, because dusk was the last light before a long darkness... I thought maybe Katara and Zuko sometime remembered the darkest days in their lives.. like when they were both losing their mothers (I knew about Ursa whereabouts from the comic, but I am living in my book 4 AU, okay :p), also the day when Ozai scarred his face...

I really want to see them bonding together 🥹✨ yet I draw them like this..sowry 😞 (I also want to draw them crying)

I draw this some times ago when Entertainment magazine released the Gaang pictures..hahaha. (way before the premiere, but I forgot to pust it here..)

Have you watched the LA? I finished all 8 episodes yesterday and I love it! For me it's acceptable..hehe

Although, because of episodes mix and match, sometimes I need to think which episodes it's referencing to...

Anw, there's a tiny crumbs of zutara in Ep. 3 and I am gonna draw it..hahaha

I need around 5 hours to digital painting it. I learned a lot, tho I think I need to also improve my color theory, coz it still looks cartoony. But I am happy with my progress nonetheless!

I put Alhaitham in Nilou team since 3.4 hahahaha, he kept alive only after I got Baizhu in 3.6 tho (Yaoyao can't shield him..so....yeah )

So...yeah as you know from my previous post..I like the NATLA Jet. So I need to draw him!!Anw this is also my first Jet (or was it Haru?) art!! XD. I love how amazing @sebastianamoruso portray him in the LA~

But still, I honestly thought he was Haru in the beginning of EP 3.. if you observed, his hair style and bangs in the left was kinda similar with Haru. Several scenes also seems to be referecing from B1C5 the imprisonment, so maybe Jet in this LA version he is indeed the combination of Haru and Jet!! XD

Anyway I hope this LA continue to season 2. I really want to see what happened to Jet in this version. Will he get taken to Ba Sing Se and..........hmmmm you know 😔

OR he could get Haru treatment and got pretty moustache?! heheheh 😆😆/j

So have you watched the liveaction yet?

ps. Congrats jetara nations..you well fed in this LA..hahaha

pps. Yeah that one in the bottom right corner is me..this LA made me want to draw again..so I think it's good.
