On Sunday Queen Margrethe II arrived to Argentina and she visited Recoleta Cementery during her first day in Buenos Aires. March 17, 2019.

9. Where's the creepiest place you have ever been?

I've not been in that much around creepy places but I think a worthy answer would be La Recoleta cementery (a very famous cementery with tons of gorgeous mausoleums who legit looks like the city of Death)

10. Do you believe in any sort of cryptid? Loch Ness Monster, wendigo, Kraken, jersey devil, etc.?

I do believe in ghosts and deities mostly. I also believe in the Kraken and other sea creatures. The sea is pretty gigantic and mostly unexplored, I like to think mermaids could be real 🥺

13. Do you believe in demons/angels of any form?

I do! I have actually studied a bit about angels in my career and I have made a more solid base of opinion around them. Demons, on other hand... I don't know. It's a very manicheaen way to think

it’s like a touristic spot here, everyone who comes goes there, I guess bc of the architecture and bc important people like presidents are buried there. if you google it “cementerio de la recoleta” it’s really “pretty” lol

Hey there 👋 so I was spending my summer in Japan with family for a bit and stumbled upon a show (I think it was a movie, forgot) that said Argentinians are remembered by their social classes depending on where they're buried. Is that true? Sorry this is random, but I love learning about other places and you're like the only Argentinian I know on here. Thank you :) Love your art

hahaha I don’t think I get the meaning right but .... if we are talking about Family History... there are a couple of famous cementeries in Buenos Aires where are buried members from powerful families that are remembered till today. 

“La Recoleta Cementery” for example,  listed among the 10 most beautiful cemeteries in the worldcontains the graves of notable people. You know they where from a high social class because many other persons could not afford a gravestone or monument just like them.

Hey! My brother is in Buenos Aires right now and he will be for the next two years, is it nice there? Is there anything I should tell him about Argentina?

HIIIIIIIIIIII, i’m so happy your brother is coming here!! it’s nice, now we are in winter so it’s pretty cold :(

mmm, you should tell him to be careful about his belongings (like his phone, his camera, his money) when he is in the street :/

if he gets lost, people LOVE to help foreigns here so he can ask and it’s okay

mmm the dollar??? 18 pesos argentinos are 1 dollar so if he has dollars, he has to be careful he doesn’t get scammed

if he wants to take a bus (it’s called “colectivo/bondi” here) or the subway or the train he should buy a card called “SUBE” to use it

OH, i know this is like some type of cultural shock but we have dinner pretty late compared to another parts of the world, like we have dinner at 9 p.m. or later sometimes

same with clubs, the clubs start very late (like 1 a.m. or 2 a.m.)

we eat so much beef, like…A LOT

i don’t know to be honest, he should visit Puerto Madero, San Telmo, Tigre, mmm Palermo it’s nice, Recoleta (speacially the cementery!!!) (those places except san telmo are places where rich people live tbh) mmm la casa rosada, plaza de mayo, la catedral those are pretty places for a tourist ahahha and he should eat chorripan, alfajores, asado of course, CHOCOTORTA!!!!!!!!!, dulce de leche obviously, mate (he won’t like it but he should give it a try at least), and empanadas tucumanas or salteñas (you pronounce the ñ as salteNIAS)if he is studying spanish, let him know he should roll the R and not aspiration!!!! hahhai hope your brother likes buenos aires !!! xoxox ♥
