ok, so i‘ve watched „leon the professional“ today (great film btw) and in the end, when leon dies (spoiler ig) but also the bad guy (forgot his name sorry) kills with the granades, i thought:

i‘ve seen this somewhere…

and then i remembered:

in money heist season 5 (spoiler!!) tokio pulls the same trick on the army guys while dying…

obviously the movie was made before the show, but i think the show took some inspiration from that scene. i didn‘t look it up so i don‘t know if that was what the showrunners where going for, but the parallels are definetly there.

Just realised how one of the reasons for the Bank of Spain Heist is to prove the impossible and as an homage for Andrés from Martín and Sergio, and remember how Andrés said that what Martín is “hooked on something that will never exist”? Well that’s literally just saying that what Martín wants is impossible, and then you get the whole speech with the water pump, and especially with “please don’t let it all be an illusion” then you realise that what it WILL exist and in fact it already does, Andrés just can’t act on it because he’s ill and doesn’t want to break Martín’s heart :(

She tried to save and heal Helsinki on her own, with no help, even though he might lose his leg or ever worse, die.

She is dealing with stress, anxiety and ptsd. She got high, okay, but that's what made her notice the elevatoe thingy, and thanks to that, Manila and Denver could survive.

It's not her fault Tokio died, she was already severly injured and decided to sacrifice herself to kill the soldiers ans Gandia.

Not y’all trying to dismiss Monica’s trauma after almost killing Arturo. Yeah Arturo’s a dick, creep, and a rapist and I 10000% agree that he deserves to die with everything he’s done but you guys also forget that Monica is NOT a seasoned criminal. She was a secretary and lived a normal civilian life before the events of S1. No matter how much she claims to be a part of the gang there will always be that innocence in her, that she lost when she almost killed Arturo.
