To celebrate the release of this new album on June 21, we're offering this fine art print enhanced with 22k "Latin" gold leaf, signed by Neige and myself. Each print is made in my workshop using the finest materials. It is first screen-printed by hand to delimit the areas that receive the gilding, then gilded by hand with gold leaf, embossed with an engraving press, stamped by hand, numbered and signed by hand. The cover of “Les Chants de L'Aurore” is a tribute to the magnificent Art Nouveau painting “The Spirit of the Plains” by Australian painter Sydney Long."

"Despite its more accessible vibe, this song is actually the most personal song of the album for me. « Flamme Jumelle », which means « Twin Flame », is about the idea of loss in general and the difficulty of coping with the absence of someone you deeply loved. It could be a family member, a friend, or a partner. On a more spiritual level, the title refers to the possibility that certain souls are connected in this life and beyond, and that separation is temporary and just a mortal concept."

I directed Alcest 's latest music video with my partner Psyché Ophiuchus and my dear friend Cedric. The time-lapse was shot on the night of June 21, the summer solstice, in the Brocéliande forest where we live. And by coincidence of the calendar, we finished the animation on the night of December 21, at the winter solstice. Six intense months to create this 8-minute video clip in traditional animation, and six magical months working on an otherworldly work.
