Not a writing request. Just fun mythology thoughts.

Anyways, when ever I look at Malleus I can’t help but be reminded of the Vietnamese mythology that is the origin of the Vietnamese people.

There are many variations of the mythology. Like one that is like a historical fantasy and another more mystical. One that said they were descendants of dragons and fairies, another said that they were a dragon and fairy. The one I read was more mythical were they were dragon and fairy.

Tender and heart-warming, this fic is rich enough to pour into a mug and savor, and, even while brief, the dynamics between the Nein are captured so so so well.

Người “đại khí” sẽ có sức hút riêng của mình.

1. Thản nhiên đối mặt với khốn cảnh

Vào thời nhà Đường, sau thất bại của “Cải cách Vĩnh Trinh”, Lưu Vũ Tích bị giáng chức từ quan Đại thần xuống một chức quan nhỏ ở vùng biên cương. Quan Tri huyện địa phương đã dùng đủ mọi cách để gây khó khăn cho ông, buộc ông phải rời khỏi nha môn và sống ở một nơi hoang vắng ở phía Nam thành phố. Không ngờ Lưu Vũ Tích không những không tức giận, mà còn cảm thấy sống đối diện với dòng sông cảnh sắc hữu tình, lập tức viết một câu đối có tiêu đề “Bạch phàm” và dán lên cửa.

Khi Tri huyện biết được chuyện này, ông ta rất tức giận và buộc ông phải chuyển đến một vùng nhỏ hẹp ở phía Bắc thành. Tuy nhiên, Lưu Vũ Tích cảm thấy ngôi nhà ở phía Bắc thành tuy nhỏ nhưng lại nằm ở ven sông với những hàng liễu bên bờ, làm nơi đây trở thành một thế giới khác biệt. Sau đó ông viết bài thơ: “Dương liễu thanh thanh giang thuỷ bình, thân tại Lịch Dương, tâm tại Kinh”, có nghĩa là, cây dương liễu xanh xanh, nước sông phẳng lặng; Thân tại Lệ Dương, tâm tại Kinh.

Tri huyện liền nổi giận đùng đùng, cuối cùng sắp xếp cho ông đến một nơi hẻo lánh trong thành. Lần này không có thuyền buồm, không có sông, không có liễu, chỉ có một cái bàn, một cái ghế và một chiếc giường. Không ngờ đối mặt với tình cảnh khốn cùng như vậy, Lưu Vũ Tích lại lấy cảm hứng và viết một bài thơ lưu truyền cho đến ngày nay: “Sơn bất tại cao, hữu tiên tắc danh; Thuỷ bất tại thâm, hữu long tắc linh. Tư thị lậu thất, duy ngô đức hinh”, có nghĩa là, núi không tại cao, có tiên thì nổi danh; Nước không tại sâu, có rồng thì hoá linh. Đây là căn nhà quê mùa, chỉ nhờ đức ta mà thơm tho.

Trong “Kinh dịch” có viết rằng: “Khúc thành vạn vật nhi bất di”, có ý rằng, tựu thành trọn vẹn muôn vật mà không bỏ sót. Sự phát triển của vạn vật trên thế giới không phải là một đường thẳng. Cũng giống như con người trong hành trình nhân sinh của mình, có lúc bước lên đỉnh cao danh vọng tài phú, đạt được thành tựu to lớn, nhưng cũng có lúc rơi xuống đáy vực, gặp phải đủ mọi vây khốn.

Trong những năm bị giáng chức, Lưu Vũ Tích luôn tuân thủ nguyên tắc “làm lợi ở dân”, thực hiện giáo dục văn hóa dựa trên tình hình thực tế của địa phương xa xôi, lạc hậu nơi đây, phát triển văn hóa, giáo dục, nỗ lực khai sáng trí tuệ, bồi dưỡng nhân tài, phổ biến, phát huy kỹ thuật canh tác tiên tiến vùng Trung Nguyên, tăng cường phát triển sản xuất, sưu tầm rộng khắp các bài thuốc dân gian, biên soạn sách y học, phòng tránh dịch bệnh, bảo vệ sức khỏe người dân.

“Đại khí” của Lưu Vũ Tích chính là sự điềm tĩnh. Khi gặp sự việc có thể nghĩ được thông, cầm lên được nhưng cũng có thể buông xuống được, lúc nào nên tiến lúc nào nên lùi, thận trọng, trầm tĩnh và kiên định không dễ dàng lay chuyển.

Khi gặp phải nghịch cảnh, chúng ta nếu có thể giống như dòng suối, không bị vướng bận vào những khốn cảnh trước mắt, mà có thể chuyển sang hướng khác và tiến về phía trước. Đi đâu cũng có đường, đâu đâu cũng có cảnh sắc, lúc nào cũng cảm thấy an ổn. Nhìn bên ngoài có vẻ như bạn đang trôi theo dòng nước vô định, nhưng chỉ cần bạn ôm giữ hoài bão trong tâm, ngay cả khi bạn tiến về phía trước gặp phải một khúc bẻ ngoặt, cuối cùng bạn cũng sẽ hòa mình vào biển cả.

2. Khi bị chỉ trích có thể làm được điềm tĩnh mà không tranh cãi

Lâu Sư Đức là một vị quan thời nhà Đường, ông rất khoan hậu. Nhưng Địch Nhân Kiệt không đánh giá cao ông và cho rằng ông làm bộ làm tịch.

Sau đó, Địch Nhân Kiệt tới Bắc Kinh làm Tể tướng. Võ Tắc Thiên vô cùng kinh ngạc khi thấy Địch Nhân Kiệt coi thường Lâu Sư Đức, vì vậy đã nói với Địch Nhân Kiệt rằng, sở dĩ ông có thể làm quan trong Triều đình chính là nhờ sự tiến cử của Lâu Sư Đức.

Hóa ra trước sự chế nhạo của Địch Nhân Kiệt, Lâu Sư Đức không bao giờ tranh luận, ngược lại, ông lại lấy ơn báo oán và tiến cử Địch Nhân Kiệt đến Bắc Kinh làm quan. Sau khi Địch Nhân Kiệt biết được sự thật, ông cảm thấy vô cùng xấu hổ và không bao giờ nói xấu Lâu Sư Đức nữa.

Người quân tử cần phải nhẫn được những điều người khác không thể nhẫn, dung thứ được những điều người khác không thể dung thứ, đối xử khoan dung rộng lượng với người khác, đây là biểu hiện bên ngoài của sự tu dưỡng của một người. “Đại khí” của Lâu Sư Đức cũng khiến Địch Nhân Kiệt buông bỏ những định kiến trong lòng.

Thể diện không phải là tranh giành mà có được, công trạng cũng không phải cướp đoạt mà đắc được, mà là có thể biết cương biết nhu, tùy việc hành sự.

Cổ nhân nói: “Quân tử hòa hợp nhưng vẫn khác biệt, còn tiểu nhân đồng nhất nhưng không hòa hợp”. Trong cuộc sống, mỗi người đều có quan điểm khác nhau, nếu một mực tranh luận một cách mù quáng thì ngược lại sẽ bị coi là ngụy biện. Việc người khác xúc phạm, vu khống là điều khó tránh khỏi, dung thứ cho người khác mà thoái lui không tranh đấu với họ, lấy đại cuộc làm trọng mới là điều quan trọng.

Trong lòng có núi sông, có thể tĩnh lặng không tranh chấp. Như vậy, bạn sẽ không bị mắc kẹt trong những gì người khác nói, không bị ám ảnh bởi những chiến thắng nhất thời và cũng không đánh mất chính mình.

3. Truy cầu mà không đạt được thì nên buông bỏ

Trên con đường nhân sinh, theo đuổi thỏa mãn dục vọng và ham muốn của bản thân không bằng học cách xem nhẹ và buông bỏ. Được mất thắng thua là trạng thái bình thường trong cuộc sống.

Có một câu chuyện như thế này: Có một người đánh cá rất may mắn, mỗi lần ra khơi đánh bắt đều thu về được đầy thuyền cá.

Vào một ngày nắng đẹp và ông đang ra khơi như thường lệ, ông mới đánh cá được một lúc thì bất chợt một cơn cuồng phong ập đến. Thấy trời sắp mưa to, người đánh cá biết rằng chiếc thuyền nhỏ của mình không thể ở trên biển quá lâu. Nhưng không khỏi cảm thấy tiếc nuối, vì nếu bắt thêm vài con cá nữa thì có thể lấp đầy thuyền như thường lệ.

Thế là, người đánh cá quyết định đánh cược một phen, bất chấp mưa gió, quăng lưới lần cuối. Tuy nhiên, khi lưới đánh cá của ông đầy ắp cá và ông đang cố hết sức để kéo lưới thì cơn bão dữ dội nối tiếp nhau ập đến. Khi sóng lớn ập đến, thuyền của ông đã bị lật, người đánh cá và cá trong nháy mắt bị sóng nuốt chửng.

Người ngư dân chỉ vì trong tâm không đủ thỏa mãn với những gì đang có, không những không thể thắng lợi trở về, mà còn phải trả giá bằng mạng sống của mình.

Có những lúc trong cuộc sống chúng ta cảm thấy quá mệt mỏi, chính là bởi vì chúng ta mong muốn quá nhiều, nhưng năng lực và sức nhẫn chịu của bản thân lại không đủ. Đôi khi, thay vì cố chấp ôm giữ, cứng đầu tiến về phía trước, nếu bạn có thể dũng cảm để buông bỏ thì cuộc sống sẽ tự nhiên nhẹ nhàng, thoải mái, ung dung tự tại.

Kỳ thực, buông bỏ đúng lúc không có nghĩa là bất tài hay không có năng lực, mà là có thể thấu hiểu được cục diện và nội lực của bản thân mình. Khi bản thân ôm giữ càng ít thì lại càng dễ tiến về phía trước. Suy cho cùng, việc truy cầu một điều gì đó mà không được là hết sức bình thường, cuộc sống vốn dĩ không hoàn hảo.

and he erects it to push the ceiling towards the stars that look down at his work,  closer still until the rays peer through the clouds,  a sun in the barren waste.  it is only then that the earth and sky separate from one another,  distinguishing the gods in heaven above from the world below:  satisfied with his work,  a broad hand strikes at the pillar to shatter it.  its heavenly force keeps the sky and land separated, but the physical pillar has long since been destroyed. the shards scatter across the land to carve valleys where they drag,  mountains where they land,  mounds and hills and plains forming with the debris.  presented with a new playground,  the gods in heaven above follow suit to fill this earth with their own creations,  most notably ÂU CƠ and LẠC LONG QUÂN.

the two are known to be the creators of humanity.  âu cơ was an immortal fairy of the mountains whose gift in healing was often used to treat the creatures on earth.  she fell in love with lạc long quân,  the dragon king of the shores who protected the inhabitants' newly given life on earth from the demons who were also born from the endless void that used to consume the lands.  together,  they wed and the goddess bore an egg sac that birthed 100 children.  however,  despite their love for one another,  neither could resist the pull that their homes had on them.  Their hearts yearned to return to the mountains and oceans respectfully,  so they parted ways,  taking 50 of their children with them.  âu cơ raised her children in the snowy peaks and they grew to be wise leaders of the land who in turn rejoined with lạc long quân whose children rose to be noble protectors of the people from the beasts and ghosts that plagued the land.
