History Repeats AU

Who would ya know that I have ship children around?

These two lovely babes that are in my art style is Huā and Lían, twin offsprings of the celestial dragon, Rai and the demonic rat spirit, Yìchén. During their childhood, they spend their lives in the Celestial Realm, despite having their half demonic spirit.

How were they conceived? Magic ✨

Cursed to follow the same fate like their adoptive great-uncle, Nezha, but they don't perish at the age of 3. They lived their childhood lives until they turn 13 during their birthday. (Inspiration and base on Nezha 2019 and Nezha's actual mythology)

Lían 連 — "Waterfall; Lotus"

Huā 華 — "Splendid, illustrious,” and “Chinese,” or “flower” and “blossom.”

Canonically, they're blasians (Black and Asian). They spend their entire lives learning about Chinese cultures and Yìchén isn't the traditional type when it comes with her family.

Because Yìchén is a black woman, it took her a while to learn, get used to in the Celestial Realm and how to fit in while living with her husband, Rai. The only thing she doesn’t like and it took her a while to adjust to is the stares from immortals and mortals from Megapolis, China. Some are rude that they even take out their phones and snap pictures without asking permission. Whether she's alone, with Rai in the Celestial Realm or with the twins, there are always stares. The kids attract even more stares because where they live, some immortals are now seeing a black person for the first time; now imagine a mixed kid, They go.. ‘Wow… big eyes, is the hair naturally curly? Wow… they are so tall for their age.’ Lían gets called “Xiao wa wa”(doll) often.

The twins were called “wai guo xiao hai er” meaning foreign kid. Folks don’t even consider the fact that they are mixed with Chinese because they are darker with curly hair and have a black mother. So yes, in Lego Monkie Kid, they will speak English.

Xie Lían is a normal employee at the office (secretly employed by Hua Cheng) and everyone kinda knows a bit about Xie Lían(poor guy has lost at least three jobs before this one)

Hua Cheng is his superior aka the guy who employed XL cause he recognized the nameee, he observes Xie Lían at work, but is scared of actually go and talk to him,

Hua Cheng observes Xie Lian’s kind actions towards his colleagues

So now, Xie Lian’s 30th birthday starts like every other day, except that he realizes he can now listen to everyone else’s thoughts, anyways he thinks he’s going crazyyyy

Hua cheng and Xie Lían happen to be in the same elevator one morning, and as it is too crowded Xie Lían accidentally brushes Hua Cheng s hand and can hear his thoigh

Hua Cheng’s thoughts are something like omgg I can’t believe I get to see him this early in the morning, or like, he looks so cute today

XL be like, oh? My boss has got a crush on someone ?? And then it be like

I wrote a fic ages ago where Lian was in a simulation and her fighting style is a blend of what she’s learned from the four of them. Like firing a grappling arrow into a table and swinging it into bad guys, using her bow as a staff to knock out a motherfucker, throwing knives hidden all over her person, ON TOP OF HER IMPECCABLE AIM
