my ohshc au is just kyoya’s dad has a personal vendetta against host clubs so kyoya has to hide his involvement / association with the host club
-> he can’t use his family’s influence as leverage or for resources
-> basically every host club event is the same but event planning is 1,000,000x more difficult and stressful
