1. Do you hide any secrets in your stories that only a few people will find?

6. Are there any scenes you wish you could go back and re-write?

Tons especially the early chapters of my legacies. I feel those are so cringe worthy. They were written before an actual story had formed in my head and I was capturing game play. I’m pretty happy with the stories I’ve written. I know that if went back there would be things I’d change and refine because I’ve grown as a writer but that’s part of the process.

8. Are there any plots or characters that have changed dramatically since you initially began writing them?

The more I write a certain character the more they grow. For instance Jonah was supposed to be a this carefree happy go lucky kid who partied too much and he was supposed to be straight. Then @justasimthing let me have her sims Evan and Ethan. Twins and started to wonder what would happen if my twins Jayden and Jonah met them. I had in my head that Evan and Jonah and Ethan and Jayden were going to be the couples. That changed when I watched how they were in game. Instead of being this partier Jonah got pregnant and ran away from home when Ethan didn’t want to be the supportive teen dad. I originally had it in my head the twins were going to g o to Uni together but we’ve seen how the story actually went.

Really, the only thing that’s changed is I got reshade for Sims 4. I don’t really like to edit much. If I do edit anything it’s done super quickly in Paint (or is a blingee/picmix). 👀 I just like posting my Sims and having a good time~ Though, I’ve been thinking of maybe getting a free trial of photoshop just to do something special for Popuri in the future... 

The first picture I posted is the founder of my Berry Legacy with her husband! 💙 (yes she married the hermit, my game happened to spawn a not-old one so we snatched him up). The “recent” screenie I posted is from my Realm of Magic save I did with the Goth family. It’s not the most recent picture I’ve taken, but it is the most recent Sims 4 screenshot I’ve posted that was actually done this year. My Berry family posts are behind. I’ve been mostly playing Sims 2 this year, but I didn’t want to use those for this tag because I don’t play that game for the graphics. 😂

RQOTD: Which OC is most likely to lose something valuable in the ocean, and what would it be?

That would be Harry, without a doubt. He was born with the loser and unlucky traits. I think *loser* in Harry’s case refers to the fact that he is prone to losing things, right? Because he is definitely not a loser in any other context. Definitely he is the sweetest, kindest Sim I’ve ever known. Thank you for the ask @kymmaisims!

ETA: lolololol sorry @kymmaisims I forgot to mention what he would lose!! It would probably be his wallet. Or his phone. Or his pet rock.

🎭 - Does your OC show different sides of themselves to different people?

Oh yes. That’s how she was raised. Outwardly, she very much has a polished, elegant, cool façade. It only really comes down around her brother and a few people she’s very close with and you can see the emotionally traumatised girl behind it.

🌋 - What’s your OCs temper like? Are they a slow boil, or an instant explosion?

She’s definitely the slow boil type, but not in the sense that she holds anything back. If she’s annoyed with you, she will let you know in a very controlled kind of way - but her temper doesn’t get the better of her unless she’s under pressure. And then she usually only lets loose on people she feels comfortable with.

🎁 - What kind of gift-giver are they? Do they give thoughtful gifts? Expensive gifts? Practical gifts?

It’s expensive gifts all the way, as much as she can on her budget. A high price isn’t just what she goes for, though, she’ll buy something of high quality. She’s one of those people who has a knack for giving you a gift you didn’t realise you wanted. Her nieces and nephew are especially excited for her presents.

Look it is Seth! I have been playing him and writing about him for 10 years now (my icon is his Sims 3 version) so I think he very much qualifies as my favorite.

1. I maintain that he has always loved Sarah, even his Valley version - if you haven’t read Valley, which is okay since it’s a decade old, he sets fire to their house and his wife Sarah dies in the fire. Look, okay, the first time I played him I told him to cook something and he set the stove on fire and then he rolled the wish to see Sarah’s fiery ghost, and a decade later I am still unpacking that. ;)

He just never knew what to do with love, and his Valley version wasn’t consciously aware of it at all. His Emo Pistols version is finally starting to heal, and you can see him beginning to become aware of love and allowing and accepting it.

2. I think that, like me, he’s demisexual. He’s only really been attracted to two people in his life - Caitlyn as a teen and Sarah as an adult. I don’t think looks matter much to him.

3. He has major daddy issues - his father worked at a factory, and he made a mistake that caused an explosion that killed people. His father’s mental health never recovered and he spent his life in a care facility. The bills for that care meant that his mother didn’t have the money to move, so he had to continue to live in a town that blamed his family for their losses. He had a really rough time in school.

4. He loves plants and growing things and alchemical experiments.

5. Sarah made the blue cardigan for him. :)

1. Clair is 4 years older than Raven

2. She’s actually good friends with Raven’s cousin, Midnight- which is not actually known in this story, but it was known in the original timeline I had.

3. Clair had to distance herself from her best friend Palla because Kliff is racist when it comes to mixed races, and since Clair has no problem with mixed sims Kliff thought it was best that they shouldn’t hang out with her anymore

4. The mixed sim in question was actually raven since she did reveal to them that she kinda liked them.

5. Clair hates going to classes, but she also wants to be a practicing physician- do you see her problem here?

Another Simmer I appreciate is @kymmaisims.

This lady was my most unexpected and supportive Simblr friend in 2018.  I’m mostly into Maxis Match, TS4 Simblrs, so I'm glad she reached out first, because otherwise I would have missed out on a compelling blog.  Her Simblr follows the five Mays children through the highs and lows of life.  I admire how she handles real, sensitive topics with honesty and wisdom gained from her own resilient life.
