hihi, desperate to rp kylux if anyone is inchrested.

i rp via a mix of gdocs and discord. i write third person, past tense, novel/paragraph(s) style, but do love and support if a writer wants to throw a line of dialogue in the middle of my reply if they feel their character would speak there.

i livewrite on gdocs and tend to take rp partners replies and paste them there as well as colour code, and then i also love leaving little notes in the margins both about further thoughts on my reply, or losing my mind over my partners. i think its fun - but no pressure to live-write unless ur comfy with it!!

i also tend to overask for permission to do things insofar as "is it okay if my character touches yours" sorta thing, the same way actors get permission before making big moves with scene partners.

I can only write as Hux, sadly. Love Ren with all my heart but getting inside that head doesn't do wonderful things to the ol mental health lol. I write Hux as a certified bitch twink with a fair bit of trauma he mostly swallows back, be it canon or au. backstory and stuff change circumstantially and what can work better for narrative choices, but suffice to say i dont always vibe with canon bc i tend not to care about swars new trilogy past TFA (altho the sequel is fun. we dont talk about the third one. i havent seen it. i dont need to lmfao, i know the spoilers).

As of rn, highkey desperate to do some sort of crash landing and/or kidnap/rescue hurt/comfort sorta plot. I am comfortable with writing smut and tend to prefer to, so if you're a fade to black people we may not mesh - but I prefer plot over smut, so smut needs to work with overall plot. and i looove brainstorming a good story; playing in the space is fun!!

💖 What do you like most about your own writing?

Oof just go straight for like the hardest question on there lmao. I guess, after walking away from a fic and coming back a few weeks after posting, I tend to really like things like characterization and imagery. For the first, I try to keep everyone properly in character, despite the fact that I'm typically writing AUs. At that point I kind of have to ask myself, what different experiences has this character gone this in this universe than from canon, and how would that change them? Rather than just writing the canon characterization regardless of the AU or situation. And I always hate everything about a fic during the editing/posting process, but it's usually something I'm proud of looking back. And then I have a hard time with imagery, because I hate unnecessarily flowery language with like, a burning passion. If your language isn't adding something to the story, I've always been of the opinion it doesn't need to be there. So it's a rule I try to stick to myself - anything overly descriptive of using figurative language in my fics is something carefully crafted to add to my story, rather than just being there to be there.

📊 Current number of WIPs

I think this depends a bit on what you class as a WIP? In terms of partially-written things I plan on finishing, only two. The Collaring Scene, which has about 6k and I'm hoping to post by the end of the month, I know you're not the only one waiting for it lol, and something in a document currently titled 'rooftop smoke' which is ShigaDabi(Hawks kinda) ABO with joined-the-League-for-real!Hawks.

There are... a lot more I don't think I'll get around to finishing but do have pieces written for. Like a villain!Izuku ABO AU that turned into a roleplay between myself and Birdy instead, and a bunch of stuff for previous fandoms, mostly FFVII (gen fic that focused on the timeline established in the end of the remake and follows Zack and Cloud) and Kylux. So many unfinished Kylux WIPs.

📚 Do you read your own fic?

I absolutely do! I write them mostly for myself after all. I do have to give myself a period of distance between posting and going back and being able to actually enjoy them, but it does happen eventually. Usually I'll be prompted by either a lovely comment that makes me want to try to feel what they felt while reading it, or I'll just be in a mood for something similar to my fic, and upon remembering I already wrote it, I go back to re-read. That last one happens the most with Morning Melody honestly, when I just want that High-Key Soft.

A Bit About Me

Hello, RP side of Tumblr! 

I basically just wanted to make this post to introduce myself to the community, and also to give a few disclaimers to any future rp partners I interact with. I guess, consider this like... a roleplay resume? 

EXPERIENCE

   I’ve been online roleplaying for over 5 years now, and it is easily one of my favourite hobbies. I adore adding to the worlds and storylines I love so much, as well as occasionally creating my own, and collaborating with people who share that passion. I’m usually very flexible with which characters I’ll play, unless it’s one I just absolutely do not resonate with. I don’t have any experience rping with oc’s, however, this might be something I’d be willing to look into in the future. 

   For the past five years, I’ve been finding rp partners exclusively off of Omegle, but as of late, I’ve found the rp scene on there really deteriorating. I rarely find anyone willing to step outside of canon for AU’s, and I’ve also seen a personally frustrating rise in single line or text-form rp’s, which are just not my style. I am a paragraph roleplayer, and always will be!
