Desi Middle Class ✨Aesthetic✨
Kiraya ka ghar, chai ki tapri, buying new clothes twice or at max thrice a year during festive occasions, steel ka dabba, bigger uniform size to make sure you keep fitting into it for at least two years, feeling proud to own a Trimax pen, dada dadi or nana nani's tel malish, visiting temple towns for vacations, train journeys with lots of chips packed to munch on and mummy ke parathe or puri bhaji, having to wait patiently for your turn to use the bathroom unless and until you have two bathrooms and both of them are equally functional, never been on a flight or have been only once by luck, noticing that your dad rarely buys new shirts for himself, lingering looks on that beautiful but expensive dress, your mother touches that one lovely saree for the last time and you promise to yourself that when you start earning, you will gift her every saree she will land her gaze upon, covering rough notebooks with newspapers, start studying maths for the new school year during summer vacation, sharing a room and sometimes the same study table with your siblings, beaming at your bade bhaiya or didi when they show you how to make a paper boat/paper airplane, you are growing up and for the first time you see your older sibling break down in their room all by themselves and realization dawns that even they need a comforting hug, Tu kab badi huyi?, Wanting to gift a good car to your father with your own salary, the entire family dreams to own their own house someday, the first time you realize what a middle class family really is, fights and quarrels that always end with silent apologies over the dining table, beta doctor ya engineer? Kya matlab arts lena hai? Humare family se just pass hone vale bhi science liye? You wipe your own tears and strengthen your resolve to fight for your own dreams, parents are proud that you proved them wrong with your career and subject choice, sadly dropping out of dance, music, arts and sports classes as soon as you begin 10th grade -- lucky ones still continue them, watching Indian tv serials with mummy during afternoons after coming back from school, thoda toh pocket money badha do?? Storing money everywhere in the house, counting coins as a child and thinking yourself to be very rich, chota ghar magar sapne bade yeh hai middle class parivar ki kahani
I was watching Wagle ki duniya and later mummy and I were talking about our lifestyle after which she played a Sudha Murthy video where she was talking about the middle class lifestyle, and then I made this post by reflecting on some of my own experiences. I know that the above post doesn't still complete the middle class life there are so many things remaining but I tried my best to summarise from my own observation and experiences.
I have lived a small part of my life with the more economically advantaged groups too (samridhi just say rich) and I am seeing and have also seen the other side too that isn't as gleaming as I used to think but nevertheless it's colourful, so I wanted to write something on it as a lesson I learnt in these 3 years and for the lesson which will live with me for my future endeavours. Probably this post will also be a sahara sort of thing when I again spiral down some crying lane over my exams.
I have so many stories from my 11th 12th and drop year timeline that I will soon share because as I always believe in the end being good no matter what, be it whatever college I get in or whatever I do, this experience taught me things that no school classroom could do. I may sound like a dadi now but yes maybe in the upcoming time if some of you younger lot do stumble on this in times that seem dark and full of certainty, I hope those stories will bring hope in your hearts
Bas bhai yeh dadimaa kirdar ab kuch samay paschat

1 Year of Gadar 2 EXCLUSIVE: Anil Sharma claims, "I told Sunny Deol that you deserved to charge Rs. 50 crores each project. This film will help you attain that."; discloses that his next project with Nana Patekar is named Vanwaas: A Journey Of Life.
August 11 marked the one-year anniversary of the all-time hit Gadar 2. On this wonderful occasion, its director, Anil Sharma, spoke exclusively to Bollywood Hungama about the much-loved sequel, his relationship with Sunny Deol, and his upcoming flicks.
Time flies. I can't believe it's been a year since the pandemonium unleashed by Gadar 2. (Laughs) Ji Bilkul. Aisa lag raha hai, bas kal hi ki baat!
How has your life altered after Gadar 2? Is the industry viewing you differently now? Public ki pyaar toh kal bhi tha, aaj hai. However, the perspectives of some people in the industry have undoubtedly shifted, as is unavoidable when one achieves success. Some perspectives shift when you fail. But, personally, I believe that main pehle mast tha and aaj mast hoon. There is no change in my life. The only change since Gadar 2 is that I used to do one film every two to three years. But when Gadar 2 was out, I immediately began production on my next film, which stars Nana Patekar and Utkarsh Sharma. Its shoot is already concluded.
Sunny Deol's life has altered in one year, and people have understood that he is a force to be reckoned with. Do you feel good that you played a part in his comeback? When I told Sunny sir about Gadar 2, I said, "You should do this film." You deserve to charge Rs. 50 crores per project. This film will assist you in achieving that goal.
The film was in such high demand that screenings began at 3:00 a.m. I awoke at 7:30 a.m., and I had no notion. My wife told me about it and showed me videos of the chaos in the cinemas. She had tears in her eyes. Mere aankh mein bhi aansoo gaye. I called Sunny, sir. He was also viewing videos. 'Ho gaya na?' I asked. He responded, 'Haan, ho gaya'! It was an emotional experience for us. Sunny sir deserves it because he's always been a celebrity. But people assess stardom based on box office performance, and I don't blame them.
Except for me, no one in the industry could have predicted Gadar 2 would be such a monumental success. I emailed Zee Studios a week before its release, stating that "Gadar 2 would collect Rs. 500 crores." I told them the same thing when I signed the contract with them. Mujhe bharosa tha iswar pe. Aur ishwar ne baat rakh di. If God wills, man will succeed. And the individual believes he is accountable for it.
According to sources, your next film with Nana Patekar and Utkarsh Sharma is named Journey to Vanwaas. Is this true? The film's title is Vanwaas: A Journey Through Life. The title Vanwaas is fitting for the film. In the Ramayana, the father sends his son to Vanwaa. Nowadays, it works the other way around. Har ghar mein vanwaas ho rahe hai.
Vanwaas: A Journey of Life is an emotional drama. My previous films include Shradhanjali (1981), Bandhan Kuchchey Dhaagon Ka (1983), and Apne (2007). This film is in that zone. Many people asked me, 'Aap action film kyun nahin kar rahe hai?'. I used to say, 'Main woh film kar raha hoon jo mujhe banani hai'. Vanwaas mein feelings ka gadar hai, and I want to show them to the audience. It's the most relevant story of today, based on what's going on with the elderly in society. It features one of Nana Patekar's best performances. The scenes between Nana and Utkarsh are breathtaking! Duniya dekhegi iss film mein ki performance ka level kya hai.
When is it scheduled to be released? We intend to release it before the end of 2024. We'll set the date in September.
Are there any updates on Gadar 3? Work on Gadar 3 is underway. Jab mere paas emotion ka atom bomb ayega, tab main phodunga!
You mentioned that you had money concerns with Gadar 2. That would not be the case with Gadar 3, right?
Yes, it is within budget! What about apne 2? It is in the pipeline.
What plans do you have for Independence Day? I wish you and all of our readers a wonderful Independence Day. Many revolutions and sacrifices were made in the hope of a brighter future. It's critical that people understand this and love their country. As for my plans, I intend to watch an excellent patriotic film, perhaps one featuring Manoj Kumar.

angstpril day nine: “I wish we had more time.”
+
alternative nine: so close, yet so far
CW: death, REALLY sad, like i actually cried writing this one sad
fic under the cut
Lin woke up to the sun shining softly through the thin curtains, the sounds of the city filling her ears. She opened her eyes sleepily, blinking slowing a few times to clear her vision. Kya smiled at her, already awake, and lifted her hand to tuck a strand of hair behind Lin’s ear.
There was a sadness to Kya that made Lin worry. Her eyebrows drew together and her smile faded as she watched Kya.
“What’s going on? Is something wrong?” She rasped, sucking in a breath when Kya’s hand moved back up to cup her cheek.
“No, love,” Kya said quietly, shaking her head against the pillow.
They fell silent, Lin searching Kya’s eyes. She knew something was wrong. She knew exactly what that something was, but she didn’t want to believe it. She felt a tear slip down her cheek, creating a tiny stain on the pillowcase.
“Kya,” She whispered desperately.
“I can’t-,” She let out a heavy sigh and closed her eyes.
“Shh,” Kya stroked Lin’s hair.
“Please,” Lin begged, the wetness in her eyes growing.
“I wish we had more time,” Kya’s other hand reached for Lin’s under the covers, gently intertwining their wrinkled fingers.
“Don’t say that, Kya,” Lin’s heart squeezed at the thought of losing her.
“Don’t go,” She said, looking away from Kya’s face.
“Look at me,” Kya whispered, lifting Lin’s chin with a single finger so she was forced to meet her gaze.
“I love you.”
“I- I love you too,” Lin stuttered, lips pulling into a frown.
“But Kya, I-,” Kya cut her off with a kiss.
Lin returned the kiss, their faces resting inches apart when Kya pulled back.
“I can’t go on without you,” Lin breathed, her face twisting.
Kya smiled sadly and wiped the damp from Lin’s cheeks.
“You can,” She reassured.
“Go to the estate. Spend the day there, with our family, our grandkids. For me,” Kya gazed at Lin, a peaceful look on her face.
“I’ve had my time, Lin. I’ve lived a long and happy life, a life I couldn’t have been happier sharing with anyone but you. I’m tired, love. I’m ready,” Lin let out a soft sob at Kya’s words.
Kya pet her hair, letting her cry herself out. It wasn’t long before Lin took a shaky breath in and held Kya’s eyes.
“I don’t want to leave you,” Lin murmured, bringing Kya’s hand to her face and pressing her lips to it.
“Please,” Kya twisted her hand to lock her fingers in with Lin’s.
“Go, and be happy. It would make me happy for you to be surrounded by our loved ones when it happens. If you won’t go for your own sake, go for mine,” Kya’s eyes were pleading as she spoke.
Lin paused before nodding slowly. She’d go to the estate, for Kya’s sake. And when she came home… She pushed the thought from her mind. Kya just needed a day to rest, that’s all. Kya smiled at her and pushed herself up into a sitting position, her movements slow and strained. Lin sat up after her, hesitating for a moment before getting out of bed. She walked around to Kya’s side, sitting and placing her hand lightly on her leg.
“For you,” She said, giving Kya a quiet smile.
Kya nodded gratefully and Lin moved to get up, glancing back at her as she pulled on a lazy outfit for the day. When she was fully dressed and ready to go, she returned to Kya’s side.
“I love you,” She said again, her voice gravelly and thick.
“I love you too,” Kya placed her hand on top of Lin’s.
“Go,” Lin nodded and stood, placing one last kiss on Kya’s forehead before walking from the room.
She dug her fingernails into her palms to keep herself from turning back.
For Kya, she thought.
For Kya.
She’d been at the old Beifong estate for several hours now, quietly entertaining Mako’s kids. They were slightly older now, less energetic and rambunctious than they used to be, much to Lin’s relief. They’d begged her to tell them stories of when their father had been younger and had listened excitedly when she had. They were nearly back to the temple when it happened.
Lin gasped and fell to her knees, her eyes suddenly pooling with tears. She hugged her arms tightly around her stomach, closing her eyes and letting out a sob. Mako must have seen the fall and rushed out, wrapping his arms under Lin’s and helping her up.
“Are you alright?” He asked, slight panic in his amber eyes.
She watched him for a moment, her breathing heavy and eyelids drooping with hurt.
“Kya,” She whispered before pulling him into a tight hug.
“Oh, Lin... I’m so sorry,” Mako breathed, rubbing her back as she leaned into him.
There was a long pause before anyone spoke again.
“Dad?” His eldest tugged on his shirt to get his attention.
“What’s wrong with grandma? And where’s nana?” Mako pulled slightly away from Lin to push back the kid’s hair.
He let out a sigh and smiled sadly at the two girls, waving them forwards.
“Come here, babies, come. I’ll explain later, alright?” The two girls nodded and scurried forward and crushed their grandmother and father in a hug.
Lin couldn’t bear to go home that night. Instead, she stayed in the guest bedroom at the estate, gratefully accepting Mako’s hospitality. He went with her the next day when it was time to go back, to collect Kya. The next few weeks were a blur for Lin, the loneliness sitting in her chest and an abundance of black clothing the only memories she retained. At some point during it all, her things had been moved permanently to the estate, Mako and his family insisting on her staying. She was quieter after that, her stories less animated, her manner more tired. She stayed that way for a number of years, her physical health along with the loss of her taking a toll on her more as time went on. Mako could tell she was fading, and did everything he could to make her comfortable, at least for the time she had left.
One night, he was bringing her an evening mug of tea , when he found her standing on her small balcony. He started to approach her before hearing that she was speaking, stopping where he stood to listen.
“... and I miss you, so much. I miss waking up to your sea green eyes. I miss your voice, how you’d sing to me sometimes. I miss your silver hair, and braiding it for you before bed. I miss the warmth of you next to me at night. I miss you, Kya. You’re so far from me now, so far… but I’m coming home. I’ll be home soon, I promise. You may be far for now, but I’m close. I can feel it. I understand what you meant now, about how it was your time. It creeps up slowly, but it comes nonetheless. I’m ready, Kya, I know I’ll be there soon. By Raava, am I ready to see you again. It’s been too long, sugar queen,” She took in a deep breath, savouring the fresh outside air.
“I’ll miss you too, son,” Mako’s eyes widened, having forgotten Lin could feel his every movement on the cold marble floor.
“I- I was just-,” He stuttered before taking a hesitant step forward.
“C’mere,” Lin husked, glancing back at him and nodding towards the garden.
He set the mug he held on her bedside table, walking out to stand on the balcony beside her. He leaned his elbows against the railing, mimicking Lin’s stance without realizing it. She turned her head to look up at him, an adoring look spread across her age-softened face. She reached her hand out, keeping herself propped up with her elbow, and took his hand in hers. He was fighting back tears when she spoke again.
“You’ve grown up, so much. I couldn’t be prouder of you Mako, I hope you know that. I know you’ll continue to do great things for the force once I’m gone, and for everyone you know. You’re so strong, Mako, you’re brave, and kind… you’ll be alright,” She squeezed his hand with what little strength she had left.
“Son, I need you to promise me one thing,” She turned the upper half of her body so she could face him more directly.
He closed his eyes and nodded, gripping her hand tightly as she spoke.
She took another deep breath before continuing.
“Promise me you’ll remember how much I love you,” Mako’s face twisted and a tear squeezed from his eye, barely a heartbeat passing before he crushed Lin in a hug.
“I promise,” He managed to whisper into her shoulder before he began to sob.

Remembering character actor Nana Palsikar on his 34th death anniversary. Nana Palsikar (1907 – 1 June 1984) was an Indian film actor, who appeared in over 80 Hindi films. He made his film debut in 1935 with Dhuwandhar, and went on to play character roles in both Hindi mainstream and arthouse films. He was also cast in small parts in a few international productions such as Maya (1966), The Guru (1969), and Gandhi (1982). Palsikar was awarded the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor twice, in 1962 and 1965. He was recognised with an award in the same category by the Bengal Film Journalists’ Association in 1965. Palsikar made his first film appearance in 1935 along with Leela Chitnis in Sumumar Chatterjee’s Dhuwandhar. He appeared in two more films in this decade, Kandan and Durga (1939), both of which were produced under the Bombay Talkies production house and were the two final films directed by German director Franz Osten. After a long break of 14 years, between which he appeared only in one film Bahurani, (1940), he returned to the screen in Bimal Roy’s 1953 picture Do Bigha Zamin (Two Acres of Land), in which he played Dhangu Maheto, alongside actors such as Balraj Sahni and Nirupa Roy. The film was a major critical success and won several national and international honours. He followed it with supporting roles in other successful films of this decade, such as V. Shantaram’s Jhanak Jhanak Payal Baaje, Bimal Roy’s Devdas, Raj Kapoor’s Shree 420, Sombhu Mitra’s Jagte Raho and Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s Anari. In 1960 Palsikar appeared in Kanoon, a courtroom drama involving a murder case. Directed by B. R. Chopra, the film saw Palsikar playing Kaalia, a petty thief who is caught and charged with murder for no fault of his own. Palsikar’s performance earned him his first Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor. In a retrospective review in 2009, The Hindu noted, “the star of the second half is Nana Palsikar, who slips into the role of a petty thief with a commanding performance.” In 1963, Palsikar appeared in Khwaja Ahmad Abbas’s Shehar Aur Sapna (The City and The Dreams). It is a social film which portrays the struggle of pavement dwellers in the backdrop of rapid industrialisation. The film, a love story that takes place in a drain pipe, received the President’s Gold Medal Award and the National Film Award for Best Feature Film. Palsikar’s performance as Johnny earned him his second Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor, and he was acknowledged as Best Supporting Actor (Hindi) by the Bengal Film Journalists’ Association. John Berry’s Maya (1966) saw Palsikar playing Sajid Khan’s father. In 1969, James Ivory cast him in the foreign co-production The Guru. Ivory said, “I didn’t know a great deal about him when we cast him… He was said to be a very good actor, which I took on faith.” Judith Crist from the New York Magazine described his small part of “The Guru’s Guru” in the film as “an unforgettable cameo”. In the 1970s, Palsikar continued to portray father figures or authoritative characters such as judges. For instance he played the role of a father in many films such as B. R. Chopra’s Dhund based on Agatha Christie’s play, The Unexpected Guest, in 1973 and Yaaron Ka Yaar in 1977. However these roles were generally relatively minor and he was often uncredited for his performances, such as his role as a judge in Jwar Bhata in 1972. He continued playing a father into the 1980s, appearing in Aakrosh (1980), playing Om Puri’s dad. His last major film was in the epic film, Gandhi in 1982, a Richard Attenborough directed biographical film based on the life of Mohandas Gandhi, who led the nonviolent resistance movement against British colonial rule in India during the first half of the 20th century. However his role very minor, playing a villager. His last ever appearance was shortly before his death in 1984 in the film Kanoon Kya Karega, again playing a parent. He died on 1 June 1984 in Mumbai, aged 77. In the pic Nana Palsikar with Jeetendra & Raajshree.

Motherhood of 16 years.
Amazing years-They just went by swiftly. When I look back to her turning 16; each moment of her being is just divine; A God’s angel gifted to me. She gave a meaning to my life; living my life and my childhood once again through her eyes. Her first cry; her first word; to her first test; to her first sadness; to her first friend all are truly special moments. I wish I could again live them each day.
0 years in the tummy: Kicking mummy dearest with all her might.. for every month making her mumma cry in pain almost bed ridden- Mamma feeding herself Rasgullas and pomegranates and all nutritious food for healthy good looking baby.
I will be helluva of a girl Mamma ! Watch out for me...Navratre comes; full blown pregnant mumma dreams of Durga and Laxmi. Is there a cute little Meri Durga in my tummy?.. mumma is dreaming of little princesses clad in white lehngas running around laughing and giggling around the house with sounds of lil girls wearing Payals. Yes it is the sign of my princess arriving my Durga my Laxmi my Sarswati arriving..
Two days post Dusshera she is Born Eshita Vani !! aka Laxmi Sarswati...
0-1 year : was the most quietest time; beautiful angel always looking towards her mummy with blue eyes. Lil angel beautiful; pink as a rose; doe eyed - mumma’s heart out of her body..
1-2 years: Loathed the Crèche. Howled her lungs out as she had to leave Mumma’s arms. Always looking for mummy’s bosom for breastfeed - the moment mummy is in sight. She knows no one except mummy and mummy’s arms. She cried and cried when she went through a mundan. Mummy’s heart wept to see her that sad.
Calls her father Daadda; doting father; who just lets her do everything- right to Painting the Ghar ka wall with Crayons to not wearing anything only undies...
Comes Mausi the villain - gets the little Esha wean off breast milk - mummy’s heart bled watching Lil Esha lick salt and mirchi. Cried all night missing her comfort - mumma’s Duddhoo. Mausi is practical and loving will sleep with Esha for next 7 days...
2-4 years: Now found new love in grandparents; Aaka; and Mausi. She is fast; supermodel always infront of mirror; changing clothes every 30 mins. Cat walked her way every where.
Mummy made a really bad hairlook to school yet told her teacher my mummy says I am beautiful and look like a princess.
Pride of a lioness cub; lovely as a doe; yet feisty in 2 feet of her being.
Her Aaka is the greatest; her first friend; she ruled him with her demands and he reciprocated with all his love to his Eshu.
Meri laado ki mehndi every weekend courtesy Naana!!
4-6 years: Blackmailed her mummy to buy clothes with her little tantrums in the mall. You should now know her as my little Paris Hilton - color coded top to bottom with mini satchel; sunglasses; shoes and dress. She is my Tyra Banks and Naomi Campbell walking out of Lilliput Kid’s Store.
Enrique Iglesias croaking for her always since kid...A 5 years old Esha singing along I'm not in love it's just a fase that I'm going through i 'm always looking for something new 🎶🎵🎶🎵
Her Daadda disappears... Esha is a l’il sad each day as it goes yet each day a lot more happier with her new life with Naana; Naani and Mummy enfolds with new adventure infront of her... Her Naana becomes her strong fort around her. Her Aaka becomes her bro her friend her mausa No he is only Aaka....
Naani’s little brat was scolded- Little Esha packed her Barbie stroller and said I am leaving the house... couldnot help but turned back from the front door oh she doesn’t know where to go!
Homework with mummy never ! Mummy and home are supposed to be fun... PTM teacher pointed out she doesn’t do homework... Hello aren’t you supposed to teach her... she is supposed to spend time with Mumma and simply have fun.. school changed their rules...
Esha watches her Mausi’s tummy grow with doted eyes who is in there; will be taking her space.
Esha is 5 years and her sister arrives Anika.... She see her come to this world...her mausi shouting to top of her voice.. Amazed to witness the birth of her baby sister
They grow...4 and 9 uff.. what rivalry they share... right from Dresses to Doremon toys-Nothing to share with each other - every minute of love and play broken by a bout of fight and heartbreaks.
Esha growing with Naana and Naani and mummy.. Esha a little sad a little happy as new life stores lots of adventure and new world.
6-10 years: Comes Naani the SuperMom- life mein Twist... Naani brought Esha back to two T-shirts’ and two jeans. Finally hindi lessons and writing at age of 6..
Naani made Esha Raani excel in class. Every year Golden Star award! My Paris Hilton became Super achiever. Every year strived to do better than before...
My Golu molu angel had best of time with her Naana ... Naana loved his piece of heart... Her every wish is a command for him...
Yuvaan her lil brother comes to the world.., Lil Esha all overwhelmed looking at her small bro - dances in celebration in Mumbai along with Anika. She is taking care of her Mausi.. as she is happy for Yuvaan..
10 years-12 years Golu Molu Esha is a bunny toothed. Anjali Ekka is a soul sister; growing friendship see no bound.
My friends are her friends.. Her first pasta at Bristol with Abhishek uncle; Abhishek Uncle became the Pasta Uncle... every weekend she said innocently Aaj pasta uncle ke paas jaa rahe hai Kya ?
Sprite her favorite drink- Naana has smuggled Sprite at home come what may..
She is in love with her Maths teacher Richa Ma’am- she made her fall in love with maths for life...o Richa Maam married why O Richa Maam pregnant ohNo...
13 years - finally teenager Smita mausi - comes with a lot of teen wisdom n a lot of checklist for Lil Esha to accomplish. Her first kindle arrives with Smita mausi. Her love with books grows from here.
Arpita mausi nicknamed Eshita “Rockstar” - shares same interests - mimeing and singing. Hearing Arpita mausi sing- Esha finds her new interest of singing.
13 years : Watches Beti Bachao Andolan asks why it is important... and her existential question where is her dadda.. on talking with him for 3 days she says - mamma I am proud of you .you made the right decision.
Esha I am proud of you... you are my lil hero who inspires me to be the best version of me every day. To smile come what May ...

Man...Aadmi...Purush...Nar...
Man...word sunte hi dimag me bahut si chhavi aati h...unn tamam purusho ki jo humare aas-pass hote h jaise papa, bhai, male friend, nana, dada, mama etc.Yeh sb humare loved one hote h jinse hum behadh pyar krte h kyu ki yeh ache hote h aur pyar krne k kabil bhi hume unme koi burai najar nhi aati jiss wajah se hum unse nafrat kr sake, iska matlab ki purush log bhi ache hote h,dil hota h unke ander, feelings hoti h,respect krte h voh log dusro ki,sahi-galat ka farq pta h unhe. Jab yeh sb actual me hota h toh fir hur jagah yeh shor kyu#Allmenaresame. Kya aap log all men me apne bhai, papa, dada ko include kr k bol rhe ho ya fir voh log toh apne h toh ache h dusre log bure hote h,unki mentality khrab hoti h. Yeh kis type ka doglapan h? Men,boys...unme bhi dil hota h,voh bhi kisi pyar ki chahat rakhte h,unhe bhi koi kandha aisa chahiye hota h jo unhe judge na kre, jiss pr voh trust kr sake,jo unhe support kr sake, voh bhi equality chahte h. Aaj kl jo bhi chal rha h hur jagah sbhi ne dekha hoga#boyslockerroom, yeh topic samne aate hi hur jagah feminism start ho gya, jaha dekho vha boys ko,men ko curse kiya jaa rha h. I am not saying that they are right, they are absolutely wrong, but the thing is we all are able to see that topic, that chats, there mentality is just bcz of one boy who stopped them to not to do things like this,he was against them. But no one noticed bcz he is in minority and the majority of boys are wrong. Ek ladkajo sbke samne yeh laya aur voh ldke jinhone yeh sb kiya dono same kse ho skte h#allmenaresame is totally wrong. Blame the people, their mentality not the gender. Equality k naare lgate ho toh equality lao sirf bol dene bhar se kuch nhi hota yhi exposure ek ladki ne kiya hota toh use ab tak award milne start ho gye hote#brave#feminism jaise words se uska samman ho rha hota. Kbhi boy-girl,man-woman ko dekh kr decisions mt lo,apni rai mt bnao, socho toh ek insan k najariye se,jiss bhi insan ne galti ki h saja toh use milegi hi. Bus jiss din hum log aise sochne lage uss din aise topics, cases aana kafi hadh tak ruk jayenge.
Think about this. This all are not to just read, this should to be implimented.I can impliment this, you can impliment this,we all can impliment this. Let's together change this mentality......
Be equal to each other...Be happy...Be you...Keep smiling...

#Salman #Khan #fashionmodel #beautiful #dancelife #dancer #face #farmasi #home #makeupblogger #nay #portraitphotography
Few years back, “Peoples” magazine declared him as one of the ten greatest looking men in the world. But 1998 was also the year this brawny brat flexed his muscles at the Bollywood box office. How? Well, he had three smash hits in a row Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, Jab Pyaar Kisi Se Hota Hai and Bandhan. Add to this, a dashing guest appearance in the blockbuster, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. In other words, it was the year of reckoning for Salman Khan, who had finally arrived at the pinnacle after being dismissed repeatedly by the trade denizens despite participating in history creating blockbusters over the years.
Salman the eldest son of scriptwriter Salim Khan (of the famous Salim-Javed duo who penned Sholay, Deewar, Zanjeer and several much more blockbusters, and produced the angry young man icon in Amitabh Bachchan in the 70’s) made an inauspicious debut over a decade ago in “Biwi Ho To Aisi”. He was ridiculed and made fun of before Sooraj Barjatya’s “Maine Pyaar Kiya” turned him into a household name and an heartthrob of millions. Now to think that Sooraj Barjatya was nearly pressurised into dropping Salman from his directorial debut! In fact, even papa Salim confesses that had he been in the young director’s place, “I might have been hesitant (to take Salman).” But Sooraj’s faith in Salman wasn’t shaken and “Maine Pyaar Kiya” turned them both in tinsel town hottest properties. However, despite the film’s success, Salman was candid enough to admit that he had made little contribution to the Barjatya blockbuster. In fact, as far as he was concerned, he was just okay giving himself just “three out of ten marks”. But that was a pretty good score for somephysique who had once upon a time flirted with the dreams of becoming a swimmer or a pilot, and had been dismissed by the film industry. The success of the candy floss love story, was followed by a handful of hits, like “Baaghi”, “Sanam Bewafa”, “Patthar Ke Phool” and “Saajan”. However, the golden run was too good to last. A few bad choices of film roles and his popularity suddenly “nose-dived” in the early 90s, a downward journey that coincided with his unpopularity with a press that discovered him too intimidating and unapproachable.
And then once again came Sooraj Barjatya to the rescue with “Hum Aapke Hain Kaun”. While the movie made box office history, Salman Khan suddenly found a fresh facet to his acting persona, his flair for appearigly effortless comedy. Though his grim intensity blazed the screen and stole the show in Rakesh Roshan’s Karan Arjun, it was his romantic humorous, yet quite sensitive avatar that Bollywood set out to explore. One of the best results of this exploration was Khamoshi, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial debut. The film touched many hearts with its tears-jerking instances underlining the sublime relationship between deaf and dumb parents, played by Nana Patekar and Seema Biswas, and their daughter, portrayed by Manisha Koirala. But the pathos in the film was finely balanced by Salman’s breezy presence evoking laughter effortlessly, prompting remarks from industry veterans like Jaya Bachchan, who told a journalist after seeing the film,”Of course, it was Manisha’s film but I thought Salman was brilliant”. A thought shared by everyone but his hard-nosed detractors within the industry. Critical acclaim and awards don’t seem to matter much for this actor with arguably the best physique in Bollywood. In fact, so proud is he of his hard earned body of marathon workouts that Salman leaves no opportunity to display his near-perfect physique on the screen. The best example of course is the song “Oh ho jaane Jaana.. ” from “Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya”, a film directed by his brother Sohail (and also co-starring his younger brother Arbaaz) which was once again a showcase of his immense comic potential. Some say that he is an actor with severe limitations. But Salman Khan has time and again surprised his critics by often rising over the script and its treatment to give the film in his

How Hanumaan Chalisa failed to scare a ghost away, a real life account.
It was a huge gathering at my nana-nani’s place in Delhi. I don’t recall why fifteen of my family members had decided to meet each other in the frustrating month of May, when the temperature is higher than what the forecast wants us to agree with.
It was a typical family gathering. There was a lot of bitching, a lot of hitching for the current eligible bachelor/ette and a lot of poker.
It was too damn hot for so many people to be able to sleep in one room together, the room wasn’t air conditioned and the desert cooler had failed to keep all these fat brahmins cool enough to be able to sleep.
It was then that it happened. My first encounter with the paranormal, I like to believe.
I was dancing in light sleep on my mother’s lap. I wasn’t more than thirteen. I remember opening my eyes and feeling paralysed; frozen. I wanted to cry, I wanted to scream, I wanted to get up and wash my face, wanted to be in control of myself, all at the same time.
But all I managed to do was breathe heavily. There were heavy palpitations in my heart, heavy enough to send shivers down my entire body, as it started jumping up and down uncontrollably.
Then everything went blurry as blood shot up in my eyes, my mother was probably breathing as heavily as I was. Everyone was panicking. My mama left his infant daughter in the crib and rushed to call an ambulance at the earliest. My mother had started crying by now. There were relatives gently slapping me, sprinkling my face with water, some were fanning me, and some had taken to the corner of the room to cry. “Haye rama, yeh kya ho gaya bachi ko.” ( Lord Rama, what have you done to our daughter?)
My Nani had rushed to her Mandir to seek some help by then, for she was assured that this wasn’t a time for medical assistance.
She called upon the gods she worships daily to help her granddaughter, who, in her opinion, was resisting a witch.
She gently put my head on her lap and started chanting Hanuman Chalisa. “भूत पिशाच निकट नहीं आवे, महाबीर जब नाम सुनाबे।” ( Monsters and ghosts dare not come near us when you’re by our side, mighty Hanuman)
It didn’t work.
Second time, “तुम रक्षक, काहू को डरना?” (when you, my savior, are by my side, I need not fear anything.)
A failure.
This went on for a while, and my grandma recalls that until the time she didn’t exhaust herself of all energy possible I didn’t come back from wherever she believed I was.
“पवन पुत्र हनुमान की जय, बोलो भाई सब संतन की जय!” ( Praise the son of wind, and all the almighty in the heaven.) My Nani concluded the last Chalisa.
Throughout the process, as my mother narrates the account, she noticed how I was unaffected for a while, then there was visible struggle and at the end of my nani’s last chant. Poof. And I calmed down, lying in my sweat for a while.
There must have been a sigh of relief.
The ambulance arrived, and the doctor at the Emergency Room said that my temperature had shot up suddenly and inexplicably, causing all the drama that went on in the house. He prescribed some crocin and ORS solution.
The next day, obviously, my parents hurriedly took me to a temple. There the pandit tied a kavach around my wrist, and with some procedure that involved a knife that went all around me, he apparently got me rid of the evil eye.
When I went home, my Nani was there, telling me how lord Hanuman had flew to rescue me himself. But I was pretty sure, that his name hadn’t called me back from wherever I was, it was her love, her dutiful voice, and relentless belief in her gods.

Remembering character actor Nana Palsikar on his 33rd death anniversary. He was recognised with an award in the same category by the Bengal Film Journalists' Association in 1965. Palsikar made his first film appearance in 1935 along with Leela Chitnis in Sumumar Chatterjee's Dhuwandhar. He appeared in two more films in this decade, Kandan and Durga (1939), both of which were produced under the Bombay Talkies production house and were the two final films directed by German director Franz Osten. After a long break of 14 years, between which he appeared only in one film Bahurani, (1940), he returned to the screen in Bimal Roy's 1953 picture Do Bigha Zamin (Two Acres of Land), in which he played Dhangu Maheto, alongside actors such as Balraj Sahni and Nirupa Roy. The film was a major critical success and won several national and international honours. He followed it with supporting roles in other successful films of this decade, such as V. Shantaram's Jhanak Jhanak Payal Baaje, Bimal Roy's Devdas, Raj Kapoor's Shree 420, Sombhu Mitra's Jagte Raho and Hrishikesh Mukherjee's Anari. In 1960 Palsikar appeared in Kanoon, a courtroom drama involving a murder case. Directed by B. R. Chopra, the film saw Palsikar playing Kaalia, a petty thief who is caught and charged with murder for no fault of his own. Palsikar's performance earned him his first Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor. In a retrospective review in 2009, The Hindu noted, "the star of the second half is Nana Palsikar, who slips into the role of a petty thief with a commanding performance." In 1963, Palsikar appeared in Khwaja Ahmad Abbas's Shehar Aur Sapna (The City and The Dreams). It is a social film which portrays the struggle of pavement dwellers in the backdrop of rapid industrialisation. The film, a love story that takes place in a drain pipe, received the President's Gold Medal Award and the National Film Award for Best Feature Film. Palsikar's performance as Johnny earned him his second Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor, and he was acknowledged as Best Supporting Actor (Hindi) by the Bengal Film Journalists' Association. John Berry's Maya (1966) saw Palsikar playing Sajid Khan's father. In 1969, James Ivory cast him in the foreign co-production The Guru. Ivory said, "I didn't know a great deal about him when we cast him... He was said to be a very good actor, which I took on faith." Judith Crist from the New York Magazine described his small part of "The Guru's Guru" in the film as "an unforgettable cameo". In the 1970s, Palsikar continued to portray father figures or authoritative characters such as judges. For instance he played the role of a father in many films such as B. R. Chopra's Dhund based on Agatha Christie's play, The Unexpected Guest, in 1973 and Yaaron Ka Yaar in 1977. However these roles were generally relatively minor and he was often uncredited for his performances, such as his role as a judge in Jwar Bhata in 1972. He continued playing a father into the 1980s, appearing in Aakrosh (1980), playing Om Puri's dad. Like बॉलीवुड डायरेक्ट Bollywoodirect
