The kinda Normal Aura that the Seasoning City folks have tends to not have an effect on people's personalities, Teruhashi only changes due to having a support system and small other related reasons.

They'd mostly be the same? The Normal Aura that surrounds Seasoning City only affects stuff that falls into anime logic. Toritsuka might get punched more, to be honest.

To be very honest, I'm not convinced that Nendou won't instantly cease to exist. That man defies the laws of existence in ANIME logic. If he doesn't instantly cease to exist, I can only imagine that absolutely nothing about him changes. Including every single ability, he has under anime logic.

As for the others? The only real others that would be affected would be Mera and Chiyo.

Mera's gag of constantly having money problems won't cease to exist but she'd be able to earn money. Like if she earned money to go on a trip to Seasoning City, once she's in Seasoning City that money doesn't magically disappear.

Chiyo's only really affected because she has a gag of gaining and losing weight very easily. That wouldn't happen for obvious that's not how human bodies work reasons.

Other than that? The crew are all very eccentric, but they're eccentric in ways that still apply under normal logic. Kaidou's delusions are a real-life thing, Aren's temper is perfectly normal (though funny), Hairo's energy is a lot, but there are many people like him IRL.

That's a very good idea!

I can explain the usual formula of how it works and I'll give some of the most popular examples :3 I'll do this with japanese names only, because... I don't know ANY korean sorry lol

Let's try it with Toritsuka x Saiki.

Basically, 90% of the ship names work by taking the first letter of the characters last names and putting them together. 斉木＋鳥束＝斉鳥　(Saiki + Toritsuka = SaiTori) OR 鳥束＋斉木＝鳥斉　(Toritsuka + Saiki = ToriSai)

If you don't know how the characters names are spelled, you can easily check it on either the japanese wikipedia article for Saiki, or go to the Saiki Fandom Wiki >:)

The important thing is that the first person's letter in the initial indicates that they're the dominant one in the relationship. Japanese artists make sure to tag different dynamics properly. ToriSai and SaiTori aren't the same thing! It's best to avoid tagging them inproperly if uploading your own work on pixiv or places like that. Don't be shocked when seeing Saiki being bottom in a work tagged #torisai lmao

Some tags with the same ship will be less popular than the others, but if you don't mind either, you can check both combinations each time.

There are exceptions! Some ships with side characters that might collide with a prexisting ships usually resort to using their first names. Example: For Makoto x Kuusuke, we don't say TeruSai (照斉) like their names suggest. We use MakoKuu (信空) instead.

Some examples I've seen the most often: (for more obscure dynamics, just switch the kanji order around.)

ToriSai or SaiTori - #鳥斉 or #斉鳥 KuboKai - #窪海 or #海窪 TeruSai or SaiTeru - #照斉 or #斉照 KuboSai - #窪斉 SaiKai - #斉海 KuboTori - #窪鳥 NenSai - #燃斉

Tags for the siblings (usually not romantic): Saiki brothers - #斉木兄弟 Teruhashi siblings - #照橋兄妹

And for popular exceptions! MakoKuu or KuuMako - #信空 or #空信 KuuKusu or KusuKuu - #空楠 or #楠空 ToriKusu or KusuTori - #鳥楠 (^^^ used for Toritsuka x Kusuko specifically + Japanese fans don't call Kusuko by Kuriko most of the time.) KokoImu or ImuKoko- #ここいむ or #いむここ (^^This one doesn't use kanji, just hiragana, and yes, it's not TeruImu there.) KokoChiyo - #ここちよ

As a Saiki K fan who originally didn’t ship anything in this fandom, I have grown fond of reading fanfics with different pairings. It’s admittedly very fun to think about all of the alternate universe potential of ships. Ships go beyond canon, and explore the potential relationships and implications of one plot point happening before another, and how it could wind up impacting two people’s lives together.

I think there’s something inherently interesting about the stories fans tell about two characters and their interpersonal dynamics, and how it plays into the source material- or goes against it. It’s creative! And very cool, and I think the fandom should have more creative ship names to reflect that. I miss the days when a ship name told you something about the pairing it was referring to.

THEN they would freak out. In a good way of course. They would fawn and cry over the fact that their son has found love

Kaidou would want to perform a really cool light show with lasers and extravagant costumes.

She's slightly put off, but since kusuo is very smart, she is open to the idea

It's a bit more emotional than when they came out to Kusuo's parents

But they adjust because they love eachother

Even though his mom is unsure about him dating anyone in the first place

In Need For Some Saiki Fanfics?

Hello! You can call me Love. I’ve been in the fandom for a while, but I’ve never contributed to it. Since I’ve been having the urge to write for this fandom, I decided to make a blog!

Rule: No nsfw. However, if I’m in a good mood, I may make a post saying that I’ll write nsfw fanfics in that time period. There will never be nsfw with straight or girl x girl couples.

Warning: I have school with Early College classes, so my updates will most likely be slow- or I’m procrastinating. If you send an ask and don’t get an answer in a month, I’m strongly procrastinating on doing that. Feel free to tell me to go faster! I don’t mind those kinds of comments.

Other than that, I’ll post some fanfic ideas for those who want to write for the fandom but don’t know what to write...and maybe make posts on why I ship who I ship.
