My entire life my mother had talked to me about love. A kind of love you only find once in a lifetime. I looked at my classmates and no one really caught my eye, at least not in that sense.

As I grew and got older, I began dating. The boys were sweet but they weren't what I was looking for...

Girls... it felt good dating them but somehow I would choose the cheating ones. That was until I reached high school and I met her.

Lim Y/N. She was the definition of perfection for me. Her tall figure and long dark hair captivated me. She would never smile but when she danced... she would have so many gorgeous facial expressions. Never a smile.

"Bada!" I heard a loud voice.

"Here!" I said.

"We took names thirty minutes ago. It's your turn to dance," the teacher said making my face turn a red shade.

"Let's choose your partner. Um... Lim Y/N, come one up," she said.

I froze in my spot as my breath hit stuck in my throat and I started to cough. Lusher hit my back and pushed me to the center of the room where I stumbled as I bumped into Y/N's figure.

"Sorry..." I said.

"Alright, you two. Start!"

I cleared my throat. She turned to look at me but she didn't smile. A faint blush painted my cheeks as she got closer. She placed her hand on my waist and I had to try my best to hold in my emotions. 

Dancing waltz with her felt strange. I am a hip-hop and pop dancer. She is a ballroom and waacking dancer yet somehow, our bodies seemed to be more in sync and complimenting each other.

The song played softly and I allowed her to take the lead. I threw my head back and with every spin I found myself lost in my delusion world where I could go up to her and tell her how I really feel.

"Good job! Bada, you are getting so much better. This will be your partner for the rest of this semester," The teacher said. I bowed and walked off without realizing Y/N was following behind me. 

"Bada," I froze at the voice and slowly turned around. 

"Sorry. I know I messed up. I understand if you want to switch partners," I said and bowed apologetically. 

"No... um... I got this for you. I heard you like grape juice. I'll see you around," She placed the juice box in my hands and walked away without a single emotion on her face. 

"What was that?" Lusher said as she sipped on her coffee cup. 

"Y/N said she got this for me," I held the juice box to my chest and looked up to see Y/N's figure fading away. 

"Lucky you. You get to dance with your long-time crush. Your... perfect girl," Lusher said in a mocking voice and I pushed her arm.

As the days went by, I tried to avoid Y/N. Sure, she was my crush but... she still intimidated me. She was too good to be true. 

Of course being partners, this would be nearly impossible. Finals rolled around and the final project was to choreograph a two-minute ballroom dance to any song. 

"Tatter is the perfect partner! I can't wait to dance with her all night!" Lusher said as she shook my arm. 

I was looking down at the floor trying to figure out how on earth I would manage to do this with Y/N. I felt Lusher pull my arm but I didn't stop my tracks until I collided with someone. 

"Sorry," I mumbled and looked up. A knot was created in my throat when my eyes locked with her. 

"Oh, it's you. Let's go to dinner. What about five?" Y/N said. I looked at Lusher who was smiling ear to ear. 

"I... um... I can't. I have an exam at that time and I-" I stuttered stupidly. I could never speak properly when she would look at me with those damn eyes. Those cold and emotionless eyes. 

"Y/N, we are going to be late for our Korean exam!" her friend Audrey said. 

"Right. So, what time?" She said turning back to me.

"S-se..." 

"Seven. She said seven," Lusher chimed in for me. 

"Great. I'll pick you up at seven. You have my number so send me your address. See you," Y/N said and walked away. 

"Bada! Did that just happen?" Lusher said. 

"What just happened?" I said looking at Y/N's figure walking away. 

"You have a date with Y/N at seven. I have to get you ready. Let's go!" Lusher said, dragging me away by the arm. 

After taking my exam she dragged me into her room. She pulled out several pieces of clothing from her closet and had them on the bed. 

"This jacket... these pants and... OH!" she ran to her roommate's closet and pulled out a tank top. 

"Now, makeup. Sit..." she pointed at her chair. 

"Am I a dog now?" I said and she just glared. After fixing my hair and makeup, she told me to get dressed and sent me on my way down the stairs.

I saw Y/N leaning on the wall holding a lighter in her hand. I also slipped not looking at my steps but made it safely and stood before her. Her stare was intense and almost made me tear up. 

"You look... um," 

"Is it too much? I told Lusher she was overdoing it. I'll go change-" I was about to turn around when she held my arm. 

"You look pretty. Let's go," she held my hand making me blush and hide my face inside my jacket. 

We shortly arrived at a park and walked to a picnic set up. I looked around confused but she invited me to sit down. 

"Do you like it? I prepared it myself," Her poker face never faded. 

"You!?" I placed my hands over my mouth when I realized how loud I had been. She just stared at me. I rubbed my nape before speaking. 

"Sorry. You don't seem like the type to put a picnic like this together. No offense," I said. My face was burning up from the embarrassment and nervousness. 

"None taken. I know I can be... intimidating. I seem to have no emotions or the proper words to speak to people so Audrey usually does the talking but... I am human. I feel just like everyone else. I was never taught how to express my emotions, I guess," she said and I smiled at her words. 

"I understand. Thank you for inviting me here to talk about our project," I said. 

"That's not why I did this," she said and I looked at her as I tilted my head.

"I invited you here because I like you. I wanted to ask you if you wanted to date me... be my girlfriend. You are the only girl besides Audrey that has been willing to talk to me and... I would like to get to know you better," she said. 

I covered my mouth to prevent a gasp from escaping my lips repeating in my head 'Lee Bada, control yourself' but as much as I tried, tears still managed to escape my eyes.  

"Hey, I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable. You can just say no and we can go back," she said with her eyes diverted from me. I got closer to her and wrapped my arms around her softly. 

I felt her arm go around my waist and she relaxed into my embrace. I decided to break the hug and her face was tainted with a soft share of pink. Her eyes fluttered and I smiled. 

"I'll take that as a yes. Thank you, Bada," she said. I kissed her cheek and a soft, almost invisible grin formed on her lips. 

"Is that a smile I see?" I said. 

"No," she said as she looked away. 

"You're cute," I said and continued to talk and eat peacefully under the soft lighting and the moonlight. 

The perfect night with my porker face love...

isagi falls in love with you again and again over the smallest things. it could be you rearranging your things, it could be you looking up to the sky, it could be you crouching alongside him, it could be you laughing at something he finds actually unfunny—repeatedly, without fail it keeps happening. in these sorts of moments, it is very obvious too. his breath would come to a halt slowly, his shoulder sagged, his mouth opening into a silent gape, all while his blue eyes would stare at you, filled with feelings that are impossible to word out. his signs are obvious enough that even strangers could know them. the worst thing is that on times like this, it means isagi yoichi's infamously smart brain will go on a holiday for a bit. adding to the fact that his eyes rarely leave you whenever you are in his vicinity, this means it happens a lot in a public setting. after the third time of seeing this happening right in front of them, most of his friends sort of agree that it would be best to leave the lovesick, down-bad isagi alone. more for their sakes because all they get is either a dumb "huh" that is very cute actually or a very angry, on-field tone of "shut the fuck up fucking donkey i'm admiring right now" which unfortunately did happen to a genius, a speedster, and a king. it nearly ended in a bloodbath multiple times but at least you know he is a man that could not be moved.

sae likes it when you play with his hair and vice versa. the annoying thing, though, is that he rather doesn't say shit for three days than admitting this to your face. some call it an acute case of terrible communication skill some call it kuudere rizz—nobody knows which one is the correct term but the good thing is this guy speaks louder through his action than his words. which mean acting like a spoiled house cat with shitty attention seeking tendencies—where you could be working or resting your exhausted leg and without any warning, you will have his head on your lap. don't bother protesting, you will lose the inevitable staring contest. just play with his hair, comb it, pat it, arrange it while praising him—just spoil him. and if he says "your hair is wet" even right after you dry it off, just sit down and let him " dry" your hair. no, it's not an alibi to have you chatter while he listens and touches your hair. no, he does not kiss you on the hair you are imagining shit. and no don't let anyone touch your hair. sae's possessive streak is a rare thing but if anyone touches your hair, that's just asking for it. honestly, it will be easier for both of you if he just says "hey can we forego the hairdryer and have your head on my lap instead this time" but this is an itoshi bloodline elder. the best he could manage is just suddenly burying his face in your hair or suddenly touching it when he is not in the mood to play a game. again, like a cat just taking something he wants. the cat is handsome and loving in his own way though.

nagi turns out to be a very very vocal person when it comes to you. aw, he must be away for a week because of a match? good luck to everyone on his team because he will whine about it every minute or so. some wanted to murder him, but thank god, an "if you look cool don't you think they will be happy?" is enough to shut him up—on camera at least. and wow he thinks you look good in your clothes? you will know it. nagi will say "wear it again", " it suits you", and many other short sentences indeed—he is still not a wordsmith—but simply by the sheer frequency of his praise? everyone and their grandma will know it. one time a brave, poor soul asked him "why the fuck are you so noisy about them?!"—and turns out it is simply because he likes your reaction to his words. you could respond back with cheer, with a calm suave, or sometimes flustered laugh, and nagi eats those up. remember to have special reactions for him though, since he is not above copying a koala or maybe some flirty toucan to have those. nagi has been a tad bit shameless though, despite everything, therefore maybe it's not unsurprising that he kinda of becomes after getting together with you. (in the background, niko nods sagely, "i see. so it's like your oshi character who you want every info of from a dating sim." while barou snaps with a "fucking what?" nagi takes a second to think, and goes, "...kinda." which is obviously an understatement.)

This is a fun idea to work with.

You're a very chill dragon, like you don't bother cookies as you only want to collect treasure for your hoard. This was your way of life for centuries. You had watched as cookies gave treasures to the ones they cared about and while at first confusing you grew to want someone to gift some of your treasure to.

Red Velvet meets you after Chiffon had run off into the forest. His cake hound compainion had found you and while you're a dragon you can't deny the cuteness of cake hounds. Red Velvet was watching from the treeline, cake hand gripping the handle of his knife sword and watching for any signs of you attempting to hurt Chiffon.

Instead he watches as you hold Chiffon in your arms, hand him a treat you had made, and continue on your treasure hunt while carrying Chiffon. This was slightly confusing as he had seem cookies be scared of cake hounds, calling them monsters but now he's just watched a random cookie feed Chiffon and treat the loving cake hound with kindness.

"Hey! You!" He yells.

You turn around as Red Velvet runs toward you. You ask what he wants and he says that the cake hound you're holding is his.

"Oh, I didn't know. Here," You say as you hand over Chiffon.

Red Velvet, know getting a good look at you, sees that you're a dragon in cookie form. You were waiting for him to react violently but instead you just watch him thank you and walk away with Chiffon in his arms.

While you had your moments, your general attitude matched your vision to a tee. All in all, it was rare to see you wearing anything but a pokerface on your face, no matter if at a celebratory meal with the rest of the crew or while fighting monsters and storms on the sea, you remained unfazed, always looking disinterested and yet never refusing to participate in anything Beidou suggested.

Even if some outside observers might have found it difficult to imagine any reasons for two personalities as clashing as yours and your captain’s to get along as well as you did, Beidou herself could think of at least a dozen. From a professional standpoint having a number two as collected as you helped to balance out her… more enthusiastic personality. But there were also more than enough reasons for the two of you to get along well in private. Including but not limited to:

No matter how uninterested you looked, you were still a great listener, letting Beidou talk your ear off whether she was sober or not while somehow managing to remember more from your one-sided conversations than she did herself. You were good at making sure she didn’t overdo it during her more reckless moments and most importantly: the way you managed to tell any story from your adventures in a completely deadpan and unimpressed manner proved some of the most unexpected comedic entertainment either she or the rest of the crew could ask for.

“Come onnnnn, pleaseeeee", your drunk Crewmate begged you, slurring while holding on to your arm as if his life depended on it, only for you to briefly close your eyes in slight annoyance, grabbing your vision with your free hand before pressing it against his until the cold became too much for him to bear and he was forced to pull away.

“You were there as well. Tell them the story yourself”, you refuted, only to almost immediately make out the sound of several other of your drunk companions to start whining to you.

“I’m too drunk”, he retorted, and while he was obviously telling the truth, his argument was still far from convincing you in the slightest.

Just as you were about to tell him he should have told the story before drinking then however, a sudden weight on your shoulder caused your attention to shift towards it, only to be greeted with the sight of Beidou standing next to you, one hand on your shoulder and the other on her hip, the blush on her cheeks making it obvious she herself wasn’t sober in the slightest. And yet she was still a thousand times better off than any of the others.

“That and you’re just the best at telling stories”, she added with a smile. 

If it was anyone else, you would have brushed off the compliment as flattery and nothing else before quickly turning them down, and yet whenever it was Beidou that asked you, you found yourself considering it.

You had never really understood why they always wanted you to be the one to relay their adventures. When you had asked her however, she told you that while everyone else tried to embellish their stories and make it sound even more impressive than it already was, the way you did the exact opposite and made even the most epic fight sound like it was just another tuesday was more entertaining than anything the others had to offer. And while you still found it difficult to understand just why exactly that was the case, you had the sneaking suspicion you wouldn’t be able to get a more satisfying answer no matter who you asked.

“Alright”, came your brief answer, only for everyone to huddle up in earshot almost immediately, and yet all your mind paid attention to was the small cheer coming out of Beidou’s mouth as she removed her hand from your shoulder, placed it on your head, and ruffled your hair for a moment before sitting down next to you.

Thankfully everyone was too drunk to remember the small smile that broke across your face.

Iniitially cold and sometimes even hostile before gradually showing a warmer, friendlier side over time.

To Enrico emotions are a flaw, a weakness others could exploit, and he puts on a confident, dismissive front as means of self-preservation. The two of you were secluded in the privacy of Heartslabyul’s kitchen, preparing an abundance of various pastries for the unbirthday party the next day.

Rule 347 clearly states that one must be in the kitchen at all times whist the oven is in use. Of course, while the oven was on, Trey was in the kitchen.

You had joined him an hour ago. Helping him mix up batter or prepping filling for tarts, occasionally taste testing here and there.

The two of you had fallen into a nice rhythm.

Mix up the crust for the tarts, pop it in the oven, prep the next crust, start on the filling, retrieve the cooked crust and replace it with the prepped one, and repeat.

The output in which Trey was making tarts had doubled since you joined him in the warm kitchen.

Yeah, that was it. The kitchen must have been warm. That's why he felt his cheeks grow hot at the sight of a small smile adorning your face as you scooped a spoonful of strawberry filling and brought it to your lips.

For the normal person, this would mean certain death. The Jade Leech leading someone anywhere secluded meant trouble.

But your biggest concern would be for your ears after listening to the teenager ramble about the assorted fungi in his collection.

Soon the two of you were in front of varied terrariums.

Jade picked up and even opened a few of the glass chambers as he poked and prodded at mushrooms. All whilst explaining their deadly qualities with a growing grin on his face.

His eyes would dart to yours as he went on about the symptoms of death cap mushroom poisonin.

When his eyes locked with yours he wasn't expecting a grin on your face.

A sight he didn't see often. His own lips became more upturned as he glanced away placing his beloved terrarium back where it was previously sat on a shelf with his name tied to it.

If he knew his own grin was so contagious he might let a genuine expression grace his lips more often.

Jamil Viper

His shoes squeaked across the court as he tried to keep up with the ball a few people ahead of him.

All this moving and straining was causing his left arm to cramp, pain shooting up and down his arm every time he so much as brushed it against someone.

“Sea snake!” was the only warning he got when Floyd sent the ball to him. Bouncing the ball across the ground in one swift motion to get to point a from point b.

Jamil reacted fast, palming the basketball with his left hand. He had to react fast. Being just a second too short could cost them the whole game.

He just wished Floyd wasn't always so rough on the court.

He was being chased across the floor as he dribbled the ball, aiming to go straight to the opposite team’s net and hopefully score enough points to get this over soon.

When you came to a rest under the familiar branches lush with leaves, he watched.

When you turned around and gazed upwards, a look of shock showed on your face before it melted down to a hesitant smile.

Sure, one-half of your lips were more upturned than the other, and maybe your eyebrows creased with a questioning look.

But it even caught the Rook Hunt off guard with the expression on your usually deadpan face.

He felt his own lips growing into a grin as he rested his hand on his palm, his elbow resting against his propped knee.
