Kusum Sarovar, Uttar Pradesh. Kusum Sarovar (also known as Sumana Sarovar) is located on the holy Govardhan Hill, around 25 km from both Mathura and Vrindavan, and 150 km from Delhi in Uttar Pradesh. Although the whole site is known today as Kusum Sarovar, it is in fact the name of the tank and flower garden; Kusum means ‘flowers’ and Sarovar means ‘lake’. It is said that Radha, who lived nearby (now known as Radha Kund because of a large tank), frequented this garden in order to gather flowers for worship. The tank is both beautiful and spotlessly clean, I’m not sure I have encountered many more tranquil settings than this anywhere in India. The scene is of course greatly enhanced by the exotic backdrop of chhatris on the far side of the tank, built as memorials for Maharaja Suraj Mal, his wife Kishori Rani, and other family members in 1764 by his son Maharaja Jawahar Singh. #swiggywala #localguides @googlemaps #incredibleindia #natgeoyourshot #outlooktraveller #uptourism #travelrealindia #uttarpradesh #kusumsarovar #vrindavan #mathura #govardhan #uttarpradeshtourism #teamuttarpradesh https://www.instagram.com/p/CbxQwcYvRfo/?utm_medium=tumblr

Glory to Vrindavan Dham - Sri Dham is considered the highest place of Vrindavan in all places of the world. The spirituality of Vrindavan means - "Vrindaya Tulsya Vanam Vrindavan" because Tulsi is a special forest, it is called Vrindavan, the heart of Vandavan Braj where Priya - Priyatam has performed his divine songs. Even the most ascetic cannot understand this divine imperial glory. The knowledge of Brahma ji also falls in front of the love here. Vrindavan is the capital of the Rasikas, here is King Shyamsunder and Maharani Shri Radhika ji. There is no doubt in it that the particle of Vrindavan is particle time. Priyatma of Vrindavan Shyamsunder is the personal residence of Shri Radhika ji. Vidhyatjan saying Sri Dham Vrindavan means in this way "Vandasya Avan Rakshanantra Yatat Vrindavan" where Shri Radharani protects his devotees day and night, it is called Vrindavan. in Venugita describing the glory of Vrindavan. Vrindavanam sakhibhuvo vittanotti kirti yaddevakisutpadambujalabhilakshmi. Govindveenumanumattamayuranatha prakshyadrisarisvaparatanya samsastasattvam (Srimad Bhagavat 10/21/10) Brajdham is above all Dham and Sri Vrindavan is superior to all pilgrimages. Lord Narayana made Prayag the king of pilgrimages - a passage describing its glory. Therefore, all the pilgrims used to pay taxes to Prayagraj. Once Narada ji asked Prayagraj - "Does Vandavan also come to pay you. Tirtharaj replied negatively. So Narada ji said -" Then how did you become Tirtharaj. "Being unhappy with this, Tirtharaj reached God. Lord asked the reason for Prayagraj's arrival.Teertharaj said - "Lord! You have made me the king of all pilgrimages. All pilgrimages come to pay me taxes, but Shri Vrindavan never came to pay taxes. Therefore, it is unfair for me to be a pilgrimage.". The Lord said to Prayagraj - "Tirtharaj! I have made you the king of all pilgrimages. Not our own home. Vrindavan is my home. It is my Priya Shri Kishori ji's Vihara site. He is the master of there. I too I live there forever. He is above you. This is the historical KusumSarovar near Mathura Govardhan. Till now it was blowing dust, but Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave it a beautiful look. Now it shines even at night.
