I have cryptid coffeehouse brainrot (despite not having finished the game)

So here are what I think the cuties favorite slimes in slime rancher would be. (As well as pictures of them below)

(MILD SPOILERS FOR SLIME RANCHER 1-2)

Artemis-

Lilly pad slimes. I think that Artemis would think the fact the puddle slimes blush is super cute and would audibly say "holy shit" when they find out their toy of choice is the rubber duck. I also think that Artemis is the kind of person that, if they like a game and it has a DLC they will 100% buy it. So they would buy the secret style DLC and would go insane when they find out that you could turn the puddle slimes into Lilly pad slimes they would go insane over it

Kurou-

Kurou would NOT play slime rancher unless he had a crush on you and you begged him to. That being said he would probably favor the tarr slimes because they eat the slimes and he's enough of a menace that he would think that's funny. I think he would have a corral of them if he could and would be annoyed to find out that they dissipate on their own.

Odina-

THIS ONE WAS HARD. I think that she would like the slimes that come out of the party gordo a lot and then be extremely disappointed when you suck them up and they come out without the accessories. Otherwise I think she would like the yolky slimes the most. She would find one in the wild and say "Oh my gods that one looks like an egg" then when she sucks it up and finds out it's called the yolky slime she would gasp so loud.

Kolia-

Again. I don't really think she would play slime rancher unless specifically asked to. I think she would like the fire slimes though. As to why? I don't have a good reason..

Does Artemis get jealous? Like if mc were to kiss a friend on the cheek would they get a little green monster? I feel like Kurou would (and he would probably punish you for it in a sexy or not sexy way depending on how he's feeling). But I get vibes that Artemis would like.... pout, since they are our precious little (giant) puppy haha

artemis gets very jealous. i've talked about it here, here, and here! they're quite possessive of you, for better or for worse. often times, they're able to forgive affection between you and your shared friends, but when it's someone they don't know or someone you're just acquaintances with, they get really on guard. they're often aware that their jealous behavior is unreasonable, so they sometimes have a tendency to feel bad afterwards, but they really just want you to look at no one else because they don't know how to look at anyone but you. it's rather sweet, but can be overbearing/annoying for some. they do get pouty and grumpy when they're jealous though :P

kurou actually is not a jealous person at all! i've talked about it here. he's done his share of making himself exceedingly available to others before getting into a relationship with you, so he really can't be bothered to be jealous when you interact with others unless you're doing it SPECIFIALLY to get under his skin. he dates around a lot and often is seeing more than one person at a time if he's not locked into a serious, committed relationship with someone, so he doesn't see the point of being jealous. if you're trying to make him jealous intentionally though, he'll notice quickly and get pretty annoyed by it, in which case he'll grab you and make sure you & everyone else around remember who you really belong to ;3

Can we get some examples of the love notes Kurou writes to mc but never gives them?

How would Kurou react to mc finding one of the notes? Like mc is looking for something they left in his room (with his permission of course) and they open the drawer and see the notes with their name on them or something.

i genuinely think that he would be so embarrassed if someone found his love notes, especially if it was you. i don't think he could ever be more humiliated about anything... lol. i've spoken before about how he struggles to show others his soft side because he's caught up in a sort of masquerade of masculinity and these notes are incredibly vulnerable in a way he really doesn't show anyone. he's really scared of not being seen as a man by being emotionally tender with others— he has this idea of what it is to "be a guy" so he always has a tendency to hide whatever... "girly" or "cute" stuff he does. so he'd have a really bad reaction if you found the notes and brought it up to him ^^;;; his facade would crumble and the two of you would probably get into a huge argument (one that you won't really understand and think is incredibly ridiculous considering the fact that you find the notes to be very sweet and romantic), then he would ignore you for several days, and then most likely break after day five and come back crying to you (which he never does lol it shows how much this genuinely affects him) and try to explain why he feels so mixed up about it. he's got a lot of stuff to sort through! this toxic masculinity shit is no joke lmfaooo

how would the cuties spend valentine’s day? do they have a date plan or are they down to let their partner take over?

i've spoken before about how kurou is pretty traditional, and valentine's day is no exception. he'd have a date planned weeks in advance. he's not really the type to go on a fancy dinner date or anything, but if you had previously expressed a desire to do such a thing, he would absolutely indulge you and get all spiffed up for a dinner date (he looks very sexy in formalwear btw... just in case anyone was wondering). generally though, he'll probably plan to have a nice cute dinner at home (because no one cooks as well as he does) and then either have some cute activity in the afternoon before dinner or a more energetic activity like a concert after dinner. he also likes to pick you up and he always has flowers for you :P

artemis is flexible to either option. if you want to be the one organizing a valentine's day date, they'd be okay with that! but if you have the vibe that you'd want them to take over, then they'd be okay with that too. if they're the one planning, they like to do arrange a cute and cozy date... maybe a movie and lunch or a trip to the museum or the aquarium! lots of kisses have to be involved as well, obviously hehe

ALL the cuties?! people have been using "the cuties" to refer to kurotemis as of late so i'm assuming all the cuties means kurotemis + the rest of the main coffeecast (i am using this as an excuse to talk about everyone else LMFAO). it's hard to pick a favorite fun fact because every single fun fact about everyone is my favorite bahahaha so i'll just give you fun facts i haven't shared with the public yet :-)

artemis: their mom jamila was muslim, something that gavin (their dad) never really subscribed to, but artemis adopted some of her religious beliefs. after she passed away, they've held onto those beliefs really closely as a way to remember her & to cope with the loss. they're not particularly strict about anything and see it more as a spirituality thing (like, they would never say that they're muslim or religious but they would say they're spiritual in a way), but it's important to them regardless

kurou: he would never say this out loud for obvious reasons but his favorite sister is miroku, who is five years older than him. the reason for this is because she's the only other queer person in his family (she's lesbian) and he confided in her a lot as he was growing up. she was the first one he told that he was trans, although she kind of knew already for several years... before even he knew lol

odina: odina is an avid journaler and always carries her journal around with her. she also likes to scrapbook & junk journal, but that's a bigger book she keeps at home because it's too bulk to carry around in her purse. she has this really big irrational fear of losing her memory (something started by a scary movie she watched when she was really young) so she documents everything that happens to her so that she can revisit it later. she also just thinks it's a cute hobby!

kolia: she's half brazilian and often times speaks more portuguese at home than she does english. she lives with her parents, kixis, and her little brother thadri (who's between 9-12 years old.. i haven't decided yet). her dad is brazilian and her mom is american, but her mom lived in brazil for work for many years and speaks portuguese fluently. so when the couple moved back to her mom's hometown once she got pregnant with the twins, they wanted their kids to speak portuguese, so they made a very deliberate effort to keep english to a minimum at home. since kolia lives at home and point pleasant comes to practice in her garage, all of her friends have picked up scraps of portuguese, which she thinks is really cute!

mordag: mordag really likes to go to raves!! she's likes to listen to a lot of edm and techno and will go with old college friends to big edm festivals and stuff during the summer. she tries to recruit her current friends to come with her, but only kurou has come so far because most of her friends are more into the band scene rather than the rave scene. she also makes a lot of startlingly impressive kandi accessories, and you can often find her making them when she's off work and not doing anything.

artemis would most likely agonize over this all day long. they get in their head about small things like this and it would throw them off as soon as it happens, but you know how they are— they won’t want to make a big thing out of it so they wouldn’t bring it up at all. instead, they’d try to gently coax it out of you by sending some lovey texts throughout the day (showing you things that reminded them of you during their workday, checking in on you during lunch, saying they’re thinking of you, etc), but if they’re honest, it’s more for their own peace of mind rather than actually trying to solve whatever nonissue this happens to be.

kurou, on the other hand, would refuse to leave until you said it.

kurou, standing in the door: bye, i love you, see you later mc: yeah, bye, see you kurou: kurou, still standing there: i SAID… bye, I LOVE YOU, see you later mc: … um… bye? kurou, fully coming back inside the house to tackle you: tell me you love me before i go or you’re not getting out of this headlock im so serious say it now

I keep seeing videos like this on tiktok and now im curious. How would kurou react to his partner mc referring to him as their husband? Like they're talking to their parent on the phone while Kurou is next to them and they're like:

Mc's parent: so how's kurou doing?

Mc: oh my HUSBAND is doing great-

he would fold omfg he would fold so fucking hard. considering that he probably has wanted to marry you since like month 6 of your relationship (which is an urge he has to try really hard to suppress most of the time), hearing you say that out loud TO ONE OF YOUR PARENTS NO LESS would feel like 47 consecutive gunshots to the chest in the most positive affirming way possible.

he wouldn't say anything about it in the moment, attempting to play it cool in front of you, but as soon as he's alone in his room he's furiously writing a note about it and losing his mind (twitter friends will recall that i said he writes love notes to you that he keeps in a box in his desk, but is way too embarrassed and shy to give them to you). he'd probably also have a frantic text conversation with his sister miroku that looks something like this:
