realized i can probably give every vkei scene/style a style savvy style and then tagging these musicians w styles will be much easier if i know what scene theyre part of. i would appreciate any input (thts not “this isnt necessary why are you putting these styles in boxes” like i know things can be fluid but this js for personal reference)

like to be ultra clear its fine im not mega nitpicky or anything I'M NOT GONNA YELL AT YOU 😭😂 but there's absolutely no denying the vkei inspiration when it comes to dark specifically. so itd be a disservice esp for me as a mun to NOT lean into that. jp loves the west it loves US and UK stuff while the US and UK loves jp stuff so it's not like there are hard boundary lines or anything either culturally. sakurai himself brings up bowie while like a solid handful of my followers recognize sakurai/buck tick right off the hip, people CAN recognize different groups and bands. i only say this all bc i don't want ppl to think i'm ever going to try to write my. actual jp muses as like, white lite(tm.) dark and daisuke don't and can't go to hot topic because it straight up doesn't exist in japan. even if there's tons of cultural exchange going on even within the jp and us/uk emo/punk spheres like. there are still unique renditions like with the different unique styles of vkei in itself. (like gothic lolita, ouji, oshare, i generally believe dark's heavily kurofuku/BT inspired, though sugisaki herself had never actually confirmed it, but the dates of dnangel's release and BT's own increasing popularity around the time Heavily Implies it.) i'm not even jp specifically, but i do think learning more about the cultural influences surrounding things like dnangel is fun!

i think. when it comes to my portrayal specifically. the vkei part will be important because i'm half asian. and i think itd be good for ppl to be exposed to something new every once in a while

New characters have been revealed:

-President G (aka, the guy in the suit) is the director of the Sekai Kagekidan Renshuu/WLOF (which is apparently pronounced like “wolf”). His real name, age, and birthplace are secret, although “G” may be the first letter of his real name. He’s voiced by Okiayu Ryoutarou.

-Mister I, President G’s right hand man and the leader of the WLOF’s “black suit unit (kurofuku butai).” He performs intelligence activities. No VA given.

-Amamiya Hinata (Sakura’s mom), who died at the age of 27. Her personality has a strong influence on her daughter. Sakura’s beloved sword, “Amamiya Kunisada,” is an heirloom that has inherited her mother’s feelings*. She’s voiced by Kouda Mariko.

-Amamiya Tekkan (Sakura’s dad), a 42-year-old blacksmith. He’s voiced by Hayami Shou.

*the word is “omoi (思い),” which has multiple translations.

Female Lucifer Fanfiction Snippet 2

I actually have 3 chapters written on it, but I don’t really like the last 2, so here’s the 1st chapter. The title is “The Fallen Angel is a Hostess”

2. An AU where Lucifer has a more responsible and older sister personality to Maou, Therefore, she got Olba to trust her enough to bring her to Japan, and then she left him, hoping to find Satan before Olba did. After being helped from being harassed by some gangsters while she was living on the streets, the person who helped her offered her a job and a place to stay, as a Hostess in in Hostess Club, Hana. The boss of the club is actually one of the Earth Sephirah. So she starts working as a Hostess and then reunites with Maou and the others after the events of Volume 2. She does not stay with Maou in this AU.

Shady places with alcohol, women, and sex. That was the impression most people have of Hostess Clubs.

While that may be an accurate description of some of the Hostess Clubs in Japan, the legal hostess cubs were not like that at all. While alcohol would still be served and women do keep the men company, the services offered were not of sexual nature. It was a place where women lent men a listening ear, relieved them of their troubles for as long as they stayed there, painting an illusion which the men would drink in, just like the alcohol they were served.

‘Hana’ was one of those clubs.

“Good morning!”

When Tomoyo entered the dressing room, she was immediately greeted by one of her fellow hostesses, Sakura.

While it was 4:30pm in the afternoon, because all of them reported to work at this time and would only finish work at almost 2am the next morning, they would still greet each other with a ‘Good morning’.

“Good morning, Sakura-san.” Tomoyo replied with a smile. As she looked at her co-worker sitting at the dressing table, she realised something was different.

“Hm? You’re not wearing a pink dress today?”

At Tomoyo’s comment, Sakura looked down at her white dress and replied with a troubled smile,

“Well……my regular customers were commenting that they would like to see me in other colours besides pink all the time, so I thought I would try something different?”

“Is that so? I think it suits you. You should wear white more often.” Tomoyo replied as she opened the cupboard to pick out her dress for the day.

“You really think so? I wasn’t sure about this colour, but since Tomoyo-chan thinks it’s good, then it must be fine!”

“Yeah I do. Since I advised you about your dress, what do you think about this one for me today?” Tomoyo asked as she pulled out a dress from the cupboard.

It was a light purple short sleeved dress which ended just above the knees. A conservative looking one piece dress with a lace ribbon at the waist.

“Hmm……the design and colour is fine. I wish you could show more skin with a low cut back or something to make up for your lack of assets, but I guess it can’t be helped since we can’t show the scar you have on your back.”

“Yeah, but it would fade in a few months, so I can try new designs then? Besides, it seems that my regular customers like the conservative style better.”

“Of course, all those regular customers of yours are just serious old men who want someone to listen to their troubles. You’re such a great listener, so they’ll pick you even if you don’t dress sexily or can’t drink alcohol yet.” Sakura commented.

“Haha, that’s true. I’m lucky to have customers like them.” Tomoyo said as she changed into the dress she picked.

After Tomoyo finished changing, more of their colleagues entered the dressing room, and between greetings, random conversations and preparations, time passed quickly, and the opening time of the ‘Hana’ Hostess Club arrived.

“Tomoyo-chan, you’re so cute today, like always!”

“Why, thank you, Takajo-san. Do you want your usual?” Tomoyo replied with a smile as she sat down next to one of her regular customer, Takajo Kenichi.

 “Of course! You should know what it is by now, right?” Takajo asked with a wink.

“Definitely.” Tomoyo said. Then she waved one of the male serving staff, commonly known as a Kurofuku (Black Suit) over. As the Kurofuku knelt down in front of her, she placed her order.

“A Ramos Gin Fizz, please.”

“Understood.” After saying this, the Kurofuku walked to the nearby bar.

“As expected of Tomoyo-chan, you understand me the best. You know, it’s so stressful at work, yet my wife nags me even when I’m at home, it’s like I can’t even get a break unless I’m here you know.”

“I’m happy I can be of service to you.” As Tomoyo said this, a familiar energy began to enter her body.

Demonic magic.

She had started working here as a hostess due to various circumstances, and when she thought that the only benefits of working here was the high salary and the fact that she was provided with an apartment, she found out about this unexpected benefit.

Men don’t come to hostess clubs for no reason.

If they wanted to drink, they could have just gone to a normal bar which served alcohol. If they only wanted a woman for their body, they could have just hired a prostitute.

Men who come to hostess clubs want more than just alcohol and women, they want someone who would give them 100% attention, someone who would make them feel important, and most importantly, they want a listening ear for their troubles.

And those negative feelings stemming from those troubles were a prime source of demonic magic.

That was one of the reasons, Tomoyo, also known as Lucifer, female Demon General of the Satan’s Demon King Army, chose to continue working here.

If she was able to continue gathering demonic magic, not only would she feel more comfortable with it within her body, if she ever encountered the Hero, who seemed to be in this world as well, she would be able to defend herself.

And of course, if she could find Satan, who also was in this world, they could return to the Demon World together, if he wanted to do so.

Until then, she will continue working here at ‘Hana’, as Tomoyo, providing illusions to the human men here.
