This Week's Ikebana - Fern Fronds and Orchids

This week l paired the arrangements with kokeshi from various artists. Top to bottom, they are Issetsu Kuribayashi, Toa Sekiguchi, Aoki Ryoka, Masao Watanabe, and Shido Shozan.

This Week's Ikebana - Tulips

Tulips appear to be in the shops earlier than normal this year and in so many colours and shades. I couldn't resist them.

I paired them with some of my winter kokeshi - from top to bottom; Shido Shouzan, Izumi Oki, Shido Shouzan, and Kuribayashi Issetsu.

May seemed to be all about pink peonies, this time I paired them with bamboo shoots.
