The first time Yusuke verbally recognized another boy to be good looking, that was Shishiwakamaru who was an enemy back then and someone who was arrogant and picking a fight with Team Urameshi. Instead of complimenting his looks, Yusuke used it as an insult instead. He was a teenager and seeing someone attractive be an asshole towards him and his friends made him want to insult that attractiveness fast and sure to stop it.
Fast forward to current events, Yusuke joined his friends and allies in training at Genkai's temple before the next Makai Tournament.
Once, Yusuke halted them all in the middle of training because he said loud enough for everyone to hear, "Shishiwaka is actually really pretty" while they were all sparring and Yusuke was watching them beside Kurama. "But not as pretty as Kurama. Kurama is beautiful in either of his forms."
Shishiwakamaru felt flustered and reacted aggressively before running off away from Yusuke. He was used to compliments from girls. He had an entire fan club back in the Dark Tournament. But he was not used to getting compliments from boys and especially not Yusuke Urameshi. All of his friends who fought Team Urameshi before have unquestionable loyalty to Yusuke but Shishiwakamaru never fought him. He didn't understand everyone's devotion to the boy but one compliment turned him speechless and he didn't know how else to take it so he ran away.
Since then, compliments from Yusuke became frequent. Kurama's hair was beautiful and smooth whether red or silver; Hiei, who visited them once, was called cute and he got a punch in Yusuke for that but Yusuke laughed and said it was worth it to see him blush; Chu's muscles were firm no matter how much he drank (Yusuke emphasized this by pressing fingers on his abs and Chu was more than happy to flex); Jin's eyes were bright and his smile was gorgeous and his ears kept twitching the entire day from those words out of Yusuke's mouth; Kuwabara, who will be joining the next Tournament too, was noticed for his broad and strong chest that Yusuke cupped in order to measure them, something he told Kuwabara was part of training when Kuwabara was embarrassed and tried to protest.
When Keiko and Botan came to visit, things went south but only for Yusuke.
"He's been groping all of you and you just let him???" Keiko was fuming when she knew. "Oh, that pervert! You spoil him too much!"
"He said it's part of training!" Kuwabara tried to explain while Botan shook her head beside Keiko. "So he measures my pectorals and touches Chu's stomach. He also touched Jin's ears and brushes Kurama's hair. Is that really groping?"
"He also tried to touch Hiei's cute butt," Kurama added, remembering when Yusuke got punched by the smaller demon but he looked too pleased to be bothered by it while touching the tips of his smooth beautiful red hair.
"I get it," Botan said, staring at Kurama. "You let Yusuke get away with all of these because you foxes are vain! You just like him praising you, don't you, Kurama?"
"You knew all along?" Kuwabara gasped.
"Well..." Kurama fiddled with his healthy well taken care of hair even more. If he was in his silver form, his fox tail would be wagging excitedly behind him. "It's true, if I didn't want him touching and praising my hair he could be with Karasu by now."
And everyone shuddered.
"I guess if it's fine for you, then nothing's wrong about it," Keiko shrugged. She couldn't fault them. It did feel good to have Yusuke's attention and praise when it didn't embarrass her.
"It's not okay for me!" Kuwabara exclaimed, his face as red as a baboon's ass. "That jerk! He actually made me think that was training. I'm kicking his ass!"
And then Kuwabara stormed off to look for Yusuke somewhere in the temple. Later after they were done with the punching and the kicking, he told Yusuke he was welcome to touch if he was honest about it while blushing from his scalp down to his chest. In the following training sessions, Yusuke was still complimenting them but he was more honest in his touches. Honesty, though, was still getting him a punch from Hiei but everyone assumed they liked the physical contact too much to stop them.

Hot Goss
Summary: While trying on clothes, Botan and Keiko gossip about who is "hot" in the Makai. (humor)
***
“For as hot as Kurama is, why don’t more people approach him?”
Botan paused her movement, half in and half out of her shirt. She twisted away from the fitting room's mirror to look at Keiko. "What do you mean? Girls approach him all the time."
"Human girls! Human boys, for that matter too," Keiko corrected with a casual sniff. She titled her head at Botan, "But the last time I was at the Makai, it felt like people were avoiding Kurama like the plague!"
Botan laughed with sudden understanding and yanked her shirt off.
“Because he was ruthless as fuck when he was Youko Kurama, infamous thief and bandit. You should have seen the rap sheet he had! You would not want to cross paths with him back in the day, and demons have long memories.”
“Huh… so I guess demons are also scared of Hiei?”
“He’s not nearly as infamous, but yes. Hiei was also given a wide birth back in the day, but it's worse now that he’s Mukuro’s right-hand man. Everyone is afraid of her. No one wants to even look at Hiei while he's on her side!”
“No kidding?”
“She was considered a king for years, and years. Ask anyone in her territory and she’s still king!”
Keiko nodded at Botan’s explanation. She wiggled as she tried to squeeze herself into a pair of pink jeans that were just an inch or two off. “Okay… so then Yusuke…?”
“Oh, demons find him hot of course, but they don’t really know what to make of him, you know?” Botan tittered, pulling her long hair up into a scrunchy before trying on the striped sweater. “Half demons are kinda rare, and then he also comes from the Mazoku bloodline… so demons are like in awe of him, but also want to fight him.”
“Which Yusuke loves people challenging him!” Keiko snorted, smiling at the thought of a line of demons waiting to have a chance to challenge Yusuke.
She gave up on trying to button the jeans and sighed as she began to struggle back out of them. It was too bad they wouldn't work, the jeans were cute. She'd managed to get the ill-fitting jeans off when Keiko came around to the other question she wanted to ask. “So then Kuwabara…?”
“Bingo. He’s considered a hotty!” Botan chirped, twirling in her new outfit as she observed herself in the mirror. She turned to Keiko, presenting her new outfit.
“Cute!” Keiko chirped, flashing a grin.
“Thank you! So, anyway, Kuwabara’s really strong, and he puts up a good fight, which demons like. And because he’s human he’s more approachable!”
“I thought demons wouldn’t like that he’s a human?” Keiko mused.
Botan sighed and plopped a hand on her hip, “Yeah well, that’s the thing. Some demons are into him as like… a gross fetish thing. They want to like… screw him and then probably eat him…”
“Oh gross! Poor Kuwabara!” Keiko gasped, as she went back to changing into her own clothes, “No wonder Yusuke is so protective!”
“All the boys are! Because there are demons who see how strong Kuwabara is, they’re like, "Oh wow, I didn’t know a human could be so strong." And they get interested. And then he’s also sincerely nice, with enough strength to defend himself against anyone who could try to take advantage, so that gets other demons interested. And then there are all the gross demons, who think shagging a human would be easy, and go: Look! This Kuwabara guy is a human. Let’s go for him! He'll love me! And then the last, even grosser demons, that are into him are the ones who have the fetish thing!” Botan ranted, struggling out of her shirt.
She sighed as she began to put it back on the hanger, “And that’s why dear Keiko, Kuwa-chan is the popular one among demons.”
“Not that Kuwabara’s not a sweetheart, but I’m surprised he's so sought after. Simply because Kurama is otherworldly gorgeous, and Hiei and Yusuke have really fine merits too!” Keiko said, smoothing out her clothes. "But if demons are so into going after humans, I get why Yusuke won't let us out of sight when we visit the Makai."
"Yeah, cuz then there are demons that of course are into the whole frail human thing," Botan agreed with an eye roll, "And we fit the bill!"
Keiko snorted, "Uh-huh, "frail human thing," my ass. I think Shizuru killed the last demon she decked."
Botan laughed and sighed, "Yeah, and then that's the problem too. For demons, their attraction is mostly about power. So any time we put up a fight, or show we're willing to kick some ass, they think we're so hot. But Kuwabara is the babe in the demon world!" Botan shook her head, "Kuwabara’s a unique enough powerhouse to make all the demon boys and girls wet!” Botan giggled.
“Gross Botan!” Keiko laughed. “Are you going to buy the sweater?”
“I think so! The jeans not work?” Botan asked opening the door to the fitting room for Keiko.
“Sadly not,” Keiko sighed as she exited the fitting room first. She’d only just managed to get out the door when she froze in place with a choked noise in the back of her throat.
“Keiko? Why’d you stop?” Botan asked in confusion as she slipped behind Keiko. But when she looked over Keiko’s shoulder she saw what had stopped her.
Shizuru Kuwabara was standing in the lobby, waiting for a fitting room to be free, with a dress draped over her arm. She was staring at their door, her expression stiff.
“Oooo…” Botan winced as she smiled at Shizuru, “Hey there Shizuru.”
Shizuru closed her eyes and took a long breath. On the exhale, with barely contained irritation, she asked, “...You got names of these perverted fetishist demons checking out my baby brother, or what?"

Her face flared at his little whisper and she pressed her lips together before giving a glance to her husband who would have understood.
She quirked a brow at Raphael but smirked as he teased the younger couple at the table. Michael was next and she huffed another laugh as he had to save his statement leaving Sasuga to drink. Another drink which was directly related to Coyote teaching her which made her tail curl up around his hand.
She was able to skip on Kurama’s turn but was giggling at all the boys at the table who were drinking now. But on Shishi’s turn she seemed to hesitate. “I’ve never slept with Kurama.” She pointed out even as the glass went to her lips after Echo had taken his sip.
She was quickly distracted by Gatlin and she huffed, trying to save him. “Sharing a bed with me that ONE time doesn’t count, Blake. We SLEPT nothing more. “ using the word choice shishi had given to maybe smooth it over though even this was a lie and she placed her hand on Echo’s thigh to keep him from starting things he said he wouldn’t.
Instead she looked at the two wolves who drank and tilted her head. “Explain?”

♡︎𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐘𝐨𝐤𝐨 𝐊𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐚♡︎
Day 26 of Kinktober 2022
Summary: you just wanted to talk to Yoko, but he had something else planned once he saw how you longed for him.
695 words.
You love your boyfriend. It doesn't matter whether he's Shuichi or Kurama, you love him nonetheless. But getting to see him as Shuichi every day makes you think that he's hiding from you.
You had been wondering for a while now, why you never really got to see Kurama. Was he just more comfortable being Shuichi? Or did he think that you were more comfortable with Shuichi? Whatever the reason, you wanted to get it sorted out. Anything, just to get your hands on those soft silver ears of his one more time.
"Shuichi, baby? ... Why do I never get to see Kurama?..."
Oh boy, here it comes. The dreaded question that immediately has him bowing his head in exasperation as Kurama stirs inside of him. Hearing the longing tone of your voice does nothing but stir the spirit inside of him, and Kurama starts to fight for his place in the spotlight. If his loving, doting girlfriend wanted to see Kurama, then that's what you would get.
"uhm... Well- you can see him now, if you would like that. It's just... I tend to be a little more possessive in that form-"
He's hushed by your dismissal as you tell him that everything's fine, and that you just wanted to see those fox ears one more time.
Boy, were you wrong.
Because sitting in front of you now is a fox demon who's all too comfortable with staring straight into your soul. Those ears, though... They're just irresistible.
His eyes widen and he stares up at you as you suddenly start to pet at his ears, kneading them with your fingers and massaging them in ways that has him relaxing every tense muscle against you.
So you don't necessarily see it coming when you're pounced on by the fox, and a strangled yelp is all you're able to release as he secures his teeth into your neck. The pain stings and radiates down your body like an electric shock, and you arch your back, clinging to him while he mounts you.
His eyes are hungry, and his tail swishes around behind him in slight agitation. There's a tent in his baggy fighter's pants too, which you hadn't expected.
He growls in an attempt to get your attention back, his soft hands trailing over your eager body in an attempt to pull you from your thoughts. He doesn't like it when all of your attention isn't focused solely on him, apparently. The next few minutes pass by you in a haze, and you willingly spread your legs for your boyfriend, letting him go to town.
The silver fox is feral for you, growling and biting, and as he fishes his leaking cock from his boxers you can't help but get excited. Of course you've entertained the thought of having him in this form, but you didn't want to be the one to propose it, so you consider yourself as a very lucky woman right now.
Your underwear is soaked, and upon feeling this with clawed, pale fingers Youko smirks at you, cooing and peeling the fabric away.
"so wet, already? What a good girl"
There are no words to explain how that just made your belly jump with arousal, and you're so distracted by his smooth, buttery voice alone that when his cock prods at your waiting cunt, you can only moan into his neck while he fucks into you slow.
The stretch is harsh but you push through the pain, needing to feel his arms around you as he pistons his hips against your own.
But pleasure is almost replaced with confusion when he pushes far enough inside of you for you to feel... Resistance? It's like he's suddenly gotten much bigger and you fear that he won't fit, even as he pushes harder into you.
"Ah-! Owh- what is that? Kurama?-"
He merely chuckles in response, licking at the bite marks he's left on your neck affectionately, shushing you and calling it his knot. Through his mumbles you finally manage to catch what he's saying, and your eyes widen comically before a lewd scream is torn from your throat, much to Yoko's satisfaction.

33 for Kurama (YYH), plz? 🥺👉🏻👈🏻
33 (cockwarming) with our favorite fox boy let's gooooo
Kurama (YYH) x GN Reader
Kurama looks entirely at ease, propped up on pillows against the headboard of his bed and passing time with a book in hand. It's been a long day, but it's finally quieted, and with the dim light of the evening highlighting the elegant lines of his cheekbone down to his jaw, he's as beautiful as ever. Yet you pout and squirm anxiously on his lap while his cock stretches your clinging, needy hole around him.
You like to think you've behaved well. You straddled his hips and took him deep inside to the hilt without question. But now minutes have passed, and Kurama refuses to satisfy the urgent need winding hot at your core. You watch long eyelashes flutter as those deep green eyes move across the page, evidently apathetic to your plight; your expression wordlessly pleads with him, and Kurama remains unmoved.
"Kurama- please..." you whimper softly at last.
"Patience, love," he hardly lifts his eyes from his book, "Just enjoy yourself there. It will make the eventual satisfaction all the better, don't you think?"
"But this is- it's too much..."
"Patience." he repeats.
You let out a pathetic whine through your nose, to which he only responds with the slightest hint of a smirk. Then, face flushed and brows furrowed, you shift your hips forward, grinding his cock against your insides. The curve and contours of his member massage a thousand different wonderful spots that you'd never appreciated before now- yet before you can chase those sensations, a hand comes to grip your thigh with a strength you sometimes forget Kurama possesses.
"Behave." he commands, his stern gaze cutting through your obstinance.
"But-"
"Dearest," Kurama's tone is calm, if a touch exasperated, "If you refuse to sit still for me, then I will be forced to tie you in place. Do you want that?"
There's a brief moment- a moment when you foolishly forget to protect your thoughts, and your expression shows clearly that perhaps you do want that. True to form, Kurama notices. An eyebrow rises near imperceptibly, and he brings a hand to gently caress your cheek.
"I see..." his voice remains steady, but you feel the length of his cock twitch, then swell even harder within you, "So you require assistance, is that it?"
You feel the smooth yet unyielding sensation of vines creeping across your thighs, then your hips. They begin to constrict, holding you down on Kurama's lap firmly, forcing you harder onto his throbbing member until the head is hitting your deepest point. You whimper out his name once more, but those lovely features remain stoic as he traces your bottom lip with a finger.
"There we are," his eyes darken, his tone lowers, "Now, behave until I am finished. If you can do that for me, I'll please you until you're sated and then some."

Stilling his fingers when Hiei's warm ones wrapped around his wrist, Kurama slid a curious side-glance over towards his friend as the pause lengthened. Even without seeing his face, Hiei was clearly thinking about something: he didn't often draw out his physical reactions. With Hiei, such things were usually quick, decisive, and efficient. Kurama blinked, when that gimlet eye found him, and then smiled reflexively. Now that reaction was infinitely more familiar. Since Hiei hadn't removed Kurama's hand from his head - had it slipped his mind? - Kurama neatly smoothed Hiei's hair away from his face. Then he withdrew his hand completely, and beamed down at Hiei while lifting the book up, slightly. "I could read it to you. If you'd like?"
That unauthorized smile twitched a little more stubbornly into existence, and Kurama bit his lip - since Hiei couldn't see it anyway - to ward off a reflexive chuckle, in response to Hiei's. Yes: a minor victory, then. "And what a boon for you, that I am." He quipped to further the play, once he'd mastered himself a moment later. Eyes still on his book - but definitely not reading, now - Kurama daringly ruffled the back of Hiei's hair with his left hand, having already consumed the chip previously in it. "I'd hate to see how grumpy you'd be, if I left you unaccosted."

The Kotatsu Compromise - part two
NaruHina | Eventually E-Rated | Blank Period | Wintery Fluff and Smut where Hinata seeks out creative ways to hide from Naruto while satisfying both of their baser desires.
Part One |
The longer they stayed in their cocoon, the longer he held her tight against him, the more his hand itched to move and memorize her curves, every muscle in his body tensing and yearning for her. He always caught himself when his heart would race faster than he could breathe, granted the barest of exasperation from Kurama helped to break his increasingly perverse train of thought, too.
Naruto cracked his usual, overly upbeat grin to mask the rising awkwardness warring just beneath the surface.
"We should sit, huh?"
She tilted her head, her large, beautiful eyes searching him, but he didn't give her a chance to respond as he released her. He pulled the blanket from his shoulders and wrapped her up tight. The sudden chill that sank through his pajamas cleared the remaining daze from his head, and all that was left was a playful impatience. He moved behind her, hands on her shoulders as he pushed her in the direction of his bedroom.
Gone was that little old card table that sat between his bed and tv, and in its place was a heavy wooden kotatsu. Hinata helped him convert it as she centered the comforter between the frame and the tabletop and he attached the electric warmer underneath. Upon plugging it in, he and Hinata quickly tucked themselves in the kotatsu's comfort, burying their toes before scooting closer, snuggling tighter, until the hem of the comforter was drawn up to their chests. They surrendered to the steadily building warmth, their faces melting into dopey contentment.
"I never wanna leave," he sighed happily. He never wanted Hinata to leave either if he was being honest. Sharing this warmth with her, having her petite body flushed against his side, he couldn't imagine anything better.
"Same," Hinata giggled. "I always wanted one of these in my room, but father used to say if I wanted to get warm, then I should train or seek out the irori. I suppose he always knew I would never leave my room if I had a kotatsu."
Naruto shook his head at the image. Despite how lightly she spoke of this memory, he could do nothing about the small pit of distaste forming in his stomach. There still wasn't a whole lot he knew or understood. Even if he could try to give Hiashi the benefit of the doubt, no, Naruto always assumed the worst.
"This is long overdue, Hinata," he said somberly as he turned and gazed down into her face. Her flawless cheeks pinkened, then deepened to a rosy hue as the depth of his words sank into her. She was utterly precious to him. Truly.
Her shoulders rose up as she ducked her head down, and she began wiggling, broadcasting her self-consciousness on every open channel.
"I wish I had skipped class with you at least once."
"Oh?" he blinked as he tried to connect her random admission to what he said. The thought of Hinata tagging along with him and the boys, it made him smile. He would have liked that.
"And I wish I could have attended the summer festivals with the civilians, instead of the designated time they gave to the Four Elite Clans."
Long overdue. He repeated to himself. He stayed quiet as he listened to her regrets, however small.
"And I wish... I had been able to say goodbye back then." She laid the side of her head atop her knees, bashfulness painting her face a ruddy color as she watched him with hesitant eyes.
"'Back then'?"
But she didn't elaborate. He responded to her silence by smoothing his hand over hers, and her lashes lowered with the length of her quiet sigh.
"It's nothing, actually. You didn't see it," she brightened with false light, her tiny smile both strained and relieved at the same time, and it rubbed him the wrong way.
'You didn't see it', as in this wasn't a memory the genjutsu showed him. His chest tightened, leadening his breath in his lungs.
They wouldn't be together now if he hadn't seen her memories. Maybe they never would've gotten together. Ever. The things she hadn't voluntarily shared with him, she would have let things go on like that.
Denying him.
Hiding from him.
Resigning herself to the least immediately painful path.
She doesn't want to volunteer this particular memory to him, either.
He's the love of her life, but he doesn't get all of her. Not yet, anyway.
He gripped her hand, reassuring her just as she had done for him, but he didn't say anything.
He didn't push her.

More demon Kuwabara from the siblingswap au! but
Youko Kurama had initially taken Kuwabara in when he found what he thought was a little Koorime maiden. In exchange for Kuwabara's tears, he promised to help him. Kuwabara surprised Youko by asking he be trained so he could get his revenge. It was meant to symbiotic relationship, with Youko even considering selling off Kuwabara, but a true friendship got struck between the two.
So Kurama and Kuwabara have a very special relationship in this au. Kurama views himself as Kuwabara's parent, though he did not realize this until he died as Youko Kurama. So when he reunites with Kuwabara, he's saddened because Kuwabara has had a lot of hurt feelings, thinking Kurama abandoned him-just like his Koorime village.
It does eventually get smoothed over, but Kurama has to learn to deal with a more grown version of Kuwabara. And Kuwabara has to deal with a more human Kurama, which is very strange to him, as it was Kurama who put it in Kuwabara's head how worthless humans were.

Could you do like a oneshot of kurama flying holding his s/o tightly and flying in the night sky with his wings
❝ 𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐁𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐬 — 𝐊𝐔𝐑𝐀𝐌𝐀 𝐗 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐑
Coming right up
genre: fluff
includes: f. reader | boyfriend Kurama | soft Kurama | kisses | self doubt | lovey dovey
words: 1195
“How silly could she be? Your boyfriend leaves for like what, a month, and you start getting all smoochy with your best friend?’’
“He did break up with her, after all.’’
“But he obviously did it to protect her!’’
As you walk through the night, chilled breezes hit your face and urge you to press your cheek into the warmth of your boyfriend’s arm who proceeds on his tangent regarding the movie you sat through. Brunette strands waver, accompanied by glinting, chocolate eyes that hide behind shaded lenses - such was the life of an idol, having to conceal your identity as you trek down the street. Kurama Shinjirou was no stranger to this custom.
“Remind me why I brought you out for this again?’’ Your satire-filled deride prompts Kurama to roll his eyes to the stary sky. “All I’m saying is, if I were in his position I wouldn’t be too pleased about you getting all frisky with your werewolf best friend.’’ An impish air settles between you. “I don’t have a werewolf best friend. I have a fox, does that count?’’
Kurama’s eyes bulge, so much so that you have to hold back a bark of laughter. “Especially that!” The look of betrayal that takes over his defined features is priceless, as if you had committed the highest of treasons. “What? You did say; if you were in his shoes, so I’m putting myself in hers.’’ White flashes within the darkness of night as a grin overtakes your lips. “I didn’t expect you to mention that damn fox, though.’’
Kurama exhales through his nose, releasing a brief burst of condensation into the crisp atmosphere. It’s entertaining to witness how worked-up he becomes at the naming of the particular yokai.
‘Truly, how much of a drama king are you?’
Thoughts spiral around your mind. Kurama Shinjirou, idol and teen-heartthrob; here he was whisking you off to the cinema, walking you home with his lean, pale fingers intertwining yours. How did you do it, Y/N? How did you sate such a womanizer? Such a question is shrouded in mystery for even the likes of you, the one who conducted such a miracle. To this day you will never be able to fathom how the tengu fell head over heels for you. Were you some form of sorceress? Had you accidentally cast a spell over his heart? Whatever the case…
He was yours,
and you were his.
“Y/N?’’
The smooth, angelic voice rips you from your world of wonder. Wordlessly, your gaze shifts from the sidewalk and to his moonlit face. “Penny for your thoughts?’’ A curious grin curls onto Kurama’s lips, his long-nailed finger tapping against your temple. “It’s nothing,’’ you assure. Yet, the tengu’s brow raises, likely unconvinced. “Well, it obviously isn’t nothing.’’ An elbow prods at your side as if beckoning you to spill the beans. “Haven’t you heard that curiosity killed the cat?’’ “Good thing I’m a yokai then, hmm?” Now it is your turn to roll your eyes. You swore Kurama’s wit rivalled even the talent of his voice. Instead of answering him, you opt for turning your attention towards the brick-layered path. The last thing you wish to do is unnerve your boyfriend with your many woes.
Silence. A heavy sheet of hush sets amongst you, the short gusts of gale only adding to the sudden lack of warmth. It appears the yokai takes your hesitance into account and leaves you be.
That is until...
An arm hooks around your body and tugs you closer, the other dipping against the crux of your knees and scooping you with ease as if you were nothing but a feeble feather. The sound of wind snapping echo, prompting your eyes to mimic that of saucers and scramble to discover if your deduction was true.
“Kura-’’
Fingers curl into the viscose fabric of his white collared shirt as the feeling of numbness spreads throughout your legs. A burst of butterflies to your stomach, a breath of air battering from the depths of your lungs accompanied by the banging of your heart against your ribcage.
“Kurama!”
You make the mistake of glancing down at the ground that now waves goodbye as a distance grows from it, this only encourages you to cling onto the tengu further with the sharpest of gasps. “Wh-What are you doing!?’’ His features now blessed entirely by the moonlight, your breath is taken away once you face him. Sepia hues reflect the glimmering stars that dance around the both of you, accompanied by loose strands of brunette fluttering in the faint midnight breeze. His wings, widely spread, shimmer with a silvery gleam that compliments the ebony quills so stunningly.
“Mind telling me now?’’ An iconic grin presents itself and brings a flush to your cheeks. Have you a choice at this point? With the way his gaze falls upon you? The idol was tenacious, you’d give him that.
You lower your view. “I thought how of how a man like you fell for me.’’ The admittance leaves either of you stunned. “After all, there were vast choices. Your sea of fans, coworkers, classmates. Yet you went along with someone who you met behind a coffee shop counter?’’ A thin line presses between your lips for a second. “I suppose you could say I’m lucky, even so, the thought baffles me.’’
The increasing sea of silence sends your stomach into an anxious coil. Should you have held your tongue? Made something up, perhaps? After all, you had never before expressed such feelings to him. “Kurama,’’ you sigh. “Forget I said any-’’
Warmth cupping the back of your head takes you by surprise, however, nothing in comparison to the shock you experience when smooth, feverish lips meet yours. The exchange is that of burning passion and contrast of gentle tenderness. Kurama kisses you as if you’re leaving, holds you as if you’ll disappear into the starry sky. Any uncertainty washes away. Your lips mould so perfectly together as if you were made for one another.
No,
you were.
At that moment you are convinced the man of whose arms you lay, who embraces you so affectionately. You are convinced that Kurama Shinjirou is meant to be yours.
He parts from you, only an inch, as if you would shatter if he moves swiftly. You did not even realise when your arms snaked around his neck, yet they were there - ensuring he stays right there, foreheads touching and eyes locking. You do not mind how he dips you, allowing the moony glow to shine on your face, instead, you focus on him. “You ask how could this have happened…’’ he breaths.
“My only reason is you.’’
Such words have you taken aback. In one last sliver of speculation, you scan his face for any form of mendacity. What you find brings tears to your eyes.
Love.
Undeniable, inexplicable…
Love.
You trace your left hand to his cheek, thumb tracing over his pale skin. “I’m yours, Kurama…’’ The ends of his lips curl, displaying an affectionate smile. His head turns and allows him to place a peck upon your hand.
“As I am yours.’’

He would take that, with desperate greedy hands, her laughing it off and he following right after. Pretending the words were never spoken, because they're...complicated. More importantly he doesn't wanna lose Sakura over this. This ain't a conversation he ever wants to have. His exhaustion made him make a stupid mistake. The regret is bubbling from his stomach all the way to his throat. Hopefully it stays behind his teeth.
He wants to take them back and eat the glass of water to keep his dumb mouth shut. Who cares if the glass would ruin his mouth, it's deserved at this point. Plus Kurama would heal him. Right? The fox snorts, refusing to confirm or deny. Running his tongue along his sharp canine, Naruto drops his gaze to the floor. Trying to figure out what the hell to say to dispel the sudden tension.
Fuck. Now he's gotta fix this. Smooth it over, like he does most things. Push it under the rug and pretend it's not there. Just like that words of comfort, of teasing begin to surface. Tactics to defuse and get people to move on. To look away from the problem.
Just as he's ready to tell her to forget it, that he didn't mean it he hears her speak. Meeting her gaze again, blue eyes begin to blaze with his steadfast support of his best friend. The regret stays back, but not the surprising lightning blast of anger that cracks open his mouth.
"The best choice was leaving him to me." The way his lips, teeth, and tongue snarled around the words throw him back. Quickly he's back pedaling, the chair behind him stumbling as he gets to his feet. His hands are out in front him, already trying to placate.
"S-Sakura-chan," he stumbles watching with her wide wild eyes, " Sorry. I didn't mean to say it like that! It was...damn. Sorry." He says again, pressing on his apology hoping she feels his regret. Then he forces a laugh, to diffuse the tension that's built between them. Anything to loosen the tightening atmosphere between them yet...his tongue still burns with more to say. That's his problem he says so much but never what counts.
No. No more dumb shit leaving his mouth. His fingers drum against the bar counter. Shaking his head, he grabs at all the thoughts in his head and shoves them back into that little chest in the corner of his mind. they don't need be out, they just cause trouble.
"Look," he says forcing a smile that barely reaches his eyes," that's in the past. he's alive and...doing whatever the heck he's doin'. Forget it." Please.
you tried to kill him, comes the ugly truth.
and for a moment, sakura's stuck between which way she had ought to react. there is that slow temptation to laugh from the shock of it all, to feign like naruto had just misspoke, and surely we can't dwell on things that have passed. another response is being immediately bitter and angry at the accusation, no matter how truthful it'd been, because of course what she'd done is brought to the limelight. against the sins of sasuke, sakura's own is always much larger.
what does naruto know of the resounding, accumulated voice that had came to her when the rest of their comrades had thought assassinating sasuke were a price they were willing to pay for a chance at peace ? and what could naruto ever encapsulate, in his persistent hopefulness and stubborn faith which had led him to journeys beyond konoha, the hurt sasuke and him has left behind ?
naruto makes it sound like the decision was simple.
in the end, it hadn't even mattered. despite the pleas of their friends, sakura couldn't land the last blow. sasuke, though, left an imprint of his hands right around her throat. not that she thinks naruto, for all his declaration over his childhood crush, cares — but sakura swallows the angriness. her hand around the cup is tight, and it is only the smallest shift that threatens her of it cracking that sakura minds her strength.
❛⠀he's hurt many people, naruto. ❜ her voice comes out quiet instead, resigned. for all the instant dramatic reactions she'd envisioned earlier, all that comes out instead is this small, meek response. pathetic, she thinks of herself, but she has no idea how else to skitter around the subject that wouldn't push her further from her own teammates. she has finally gotten naruto back, dammit. is she really gonna lose him over his own love for sasuke ? ❛⠀he's hurt you. i— i thought i was doing what's best. ❜
better to leave the details of how their peers voted for the decision. he's going to be the hokage; he can't afford to be on bad terms with any of them, but she ... she can take the fall. she can take his disappointment. as long as he won't leave again.
#fightaers#.naruto interacts#.postwar [ naruto ]#it's all goood!! and the pace of the thread is working for me!! how about you??#it looks their issues are beginning to surface haha naruto is ready shove them back down scold them for coming out lmaooo like how dare#he's not ready to address anything he prefers them with no conflict haha#it's interesting how this conflict between them has them both afraid of losing each other and yet of course they're not saying that

My BnHA AU List
Sorry for the length. Fics that are currently available to read have links. To those of you mentioned in this post, I wanted to make sure people knew where the ideas originally came from. (And you’re all awesome anyway!)
Can't See The Forest For The Trees - Genderbent Midoriya Izuku who became a vigilante known as the Forest in Musutafu. Has been operating for five years dealing mostly with information gathering and dispersal and some smaller situations that crop up on the streets. Todoroki Shouto is on patrol in the area and takes an interest in the unknown vigilante after she helps out with a situation where he got in over his head. AO3
A Piece of Patchwork (Improperly Placed) - AU where Izuku and Aizawa swap places in canon. Izuku fights the hero system to become the first quirkless hero, graduating alongside Present Mic. He gets called in to help in a situation where the villain has the ability to steal quirks, five years before the start of canon, providing part of the back-up team for All Might. Part 1 is the battle against All for One, part 2 is an alternate ending to the fight. Part 3 is Izuku learning to use One for All, which was forcefully given to him by All Might at the end of the battle. Part 4 is the other half of the role swap, where Aizawa grows up alongside Bakugou and is trying to get into UA. AO3
The Fallacy of Greatness (AKA Tenth, in my files) - AU where the whole first year class of UA in canon is born 4 years later than in canon. All Might encounters a 10 year old Izuku who asks if he can be a hero. Even after rescuing Bakugou and proving his heroic spirit, All Might elects not to give One for All to a child as young as Izuku. Izuku, desperate for someone to believe in his dreams, realizes that he has to be his first believer and decides to take matters into his own hands and prepare for a future in heroism on his own. AO3
The Capture Scarf Caper - Based on an idea from @terrible-my-hero-academia-aus Izuku finds Aizawa's capture scarf discarded in an alley and takes it home. He figures out how to use it and becomes so proficient that it accidentally gets mistaken for a quirk. Deciding to capitalize on the strange bias he's come up against, he uses the capture scarf to get into Class 1-A. Unfortunately, this means his teacher is the original owner of his scarf. Suddenly his deception is a lot more desperate and precarious. Meanwhile, Aizawa is trying to figure out why his instincts are telling him to pay such close attention to this anxious kid. AO3
The Better Part of Valor - Suspected Traitor Izuku AU a la @gentrychild. After Aizawa discovers one of Izuku's hero analysis notebooks, he drags Izuku to an interrogation room trying to get him to confess to being the traitor in UA. Izuku comes to realize that several of his classmates were also made aware of this theory and have been feeding information on his movements to their teacher for a while. Betrayed, he starts to pull away from class, falling back into some of the same habits from middle school to go unnoticed and fall off of people's awareness. At some point, his classmates realize that he's no longer staying in the dorms, they only ever see him in class, and All Might is the only person he will voluntarily interact with.
Civil Disobedience - All Might doesn't track Izuku down after the slime incident, but Bakugou's parting words cut far deeper after the day he's had. Realizing that everyone talks about how great of a hero Bakugou will be, Izuku comes to the conclusion that he wants to be the exact opposite of what Bakugou is. He elects to become a villain who goes after and exposes corrupt heroes. Adopting the username Wasureta for his villain work, he collects information on heroes who aren't performing their job as they should and releases it to the court of public opinion, taking away the support that has kept them from being exposed before this. As he digs deeper into the cesspool of rotten heroes, he manages to collect enough information to rake Endeavor over the coals and ends up with an interesting new follower. Dabi, meanwhile, is shocked by the ruthless but polite teenager he found when he tried to find Wasureta and he's not sure if he's impressed by what the kid has accomplished on his own, or horrified by the scope of what he controls.
Hunting Prometheus - There is another quirkless student attending Aldera Middle School, but she wasn't born that way unlike Izuku. When she was seven, her quirk was stolen from her by a man with a smooth voice and a forgettable face and she's been existing in a state of carefully cultivated rage since that day. Before, she never even considered becoming a hero. Now her only goal is to become a hero so she can find that man and punch him in the face. (OC fic, obviously)
Lost Stars in an Indifferent Universe - Leverage AU, five parts, origin for each member of the team. Izuku is told to be realistic and he tries to be following his disastrous encounter with All Might. But realistic means that he has already exceeded the life expectancy of quirkless individuals, acknowledging the fact that no amount of studying or work will let him join a remotely helpful career, and he is stuck living with his mother while he wastes away as a janitor at a nearby middle school following the completion of his high school education. When he returns to a tall building he hadn't managed to convince himself to jump off of yet, he finds that the abandoned space has been taken over by a black market of sorts and gets folded into a world of grey morals and an underground economy based on merit instead of quirk. When he becomes aware of an illegal quirk experimentation operation and tries to blow the whistle, several attempts are made on his life in order to shut him up. Instead of disappearing, he gets angry and decides to collect a team to strike back and prove the shady shit the lab is up to. (Izuku=Mastermind, Shinsou=Grifter, Hatsume=Hacker, Shoji=Hitter, Eri=Thief)
Love and Other Things Not Bound By the Laws of Time - Mr. Peabody and Sherman AU. Nezu adopts a young Midoriya Izuku whose mother died shortly after he was diagnosed as quirkless. Determined to show his new son that one's quirk or lack thereof means nothing in the grand scheme of things, UA's principal develops the WABAC machine to travel through time and prove just how capable people were before quirks manifested. He indulges Izuku's passion and curiosity, encouraging him to look into as much or as little as he wants on any subject. It becomes clear that, while not supernaturally intelligent, Izuku is a genius whose ability to make connections and strategize is by far his greatest asset, especially as he still holds onto the goal of becoming a hero.
The Quiet Revolution (collab w/ my sister) - The Todoroki siblings need therapy. Instead of getting that therapy, they decide to meet up for dinner every Saturday night, begin a tradition where they burn their father in effigy each week, accidentally start a highly successful Minecraft YouTube channel, and generally cause the downfall of the existing hero system through the power of networking.
You Can Tell What I Am By The Lines In My Skin - BnHA/Naruto AU. Naruto dies in his own universe and is reborn into the My Hero Academia Universe as Midoriya Izuku. He remembers who he was, but his chakra, which followed him into this life, is always out of reach. He trains as best he can to keep up his regular ninja skills but can't break through the barrier separating him from his chakra. He still meets and trains under All Might. When he receives One for All, however, the sensation that fills him is entirely familiar. It breaks through the barrier as though it isn't even there, and settles inside like it's always been there. Honestly, he had been missing the angry furball anyway, so he was glad Kurama managed to follow him to this world. With access to his chakra again, the world is about to discover just how effective one shinobi can be in a world of heroes.
War Games - (Inspired by RogueDruid's Hero Class Civil Warfare and others similarly inspired by it.) A year-wide hero class exercise is announced. Bakugou is announced as the Hero leader while the villain leader's identity is kept secret. Izuku knows it's him before the letter appears in his room. The students are allowed to pick whichever side they want, but most choose the hero side, which has won the exercise every time it has been run. This year is no different. Todoroki realizes that Izuku is the villain leader and signs up with him. Izuku goes and recruits Momo and Monoma to his side. Then, after consulting the rules, he folds in Shinsou and Hatsume as well. Monoma plays decoy villain leader and attempts to collect a few more people, but they've already signed up for the hero side. Izuku, without explicitly saying that he's signed up with the hero team, gets folded into the hero strategy sessions since no one expected him to make a different choice. He proceeds to get "taken out" in the first villain assault, and most people don't realize what's happening until it's far too late.
Life's A Game (And I'm Player One) - AU in which Izuku realizes that he does have a quirk but can't tell anyone about it because a) he can't prove it and b) it could be dangerous if he talks about what he can see. His quirk, which he privately calls Stat Check, freezes time just for him in order to open up what looks like a video game character bio that explains a person's quirk, as well as containing vital statistics. It only works in person or on unaltered photographs with a person's face or a distinctive enough feature to identify them. As he gets older, more tabs are added to the bio, and he starts to notice signs above certain people's heads telling him what level he needs to be to fight them (he stops seeing these after receiving OfA, until he sees AfO in Kamino Ward). In pictures, only the first tab is available unless he took the picture while time was frozen, in which case all the tabs are accessible. Because of this, he has accordion folders filled with photographs of people instead of analysis notebooks.
Of Unpainted Fences and Raw Ingredients - Smart Izuku AU. He has been writing essays about hero society, morality, and several other issues since before UA, but he doesn't realize how much people are paying attention to them until the essays start becoming required reading for certain classes. Meanwhile, the teachers are desperate to get in contact with him, not expecting that the essayist they have been gushing over is sitting near the back of the class, trying not to blush.
In A Mirror Darkly - Aizawa is out on patrol with Shinsou and Midoriya when they are attacked and the boys are apparently obliterated by an enemy quirk. The rest of the class attempts to help Aizawa, but he blames himself for their deaths. It doesn't help that he keeps seeing flashes of them in the mirror out of the corner of his eye and could swear he heard one or both of their voices in the middle of the night. Meanwhile, Shinsou and Midoriya are stuck out of sync with the rest of the universe and can't communicate with anyone except Aizawa, and only through mirrors. Izuku figured out that they have maybe two weeks before they waste away since they can't interact with anything being stuck in this in-between space. The only way they can get out is for Aizawa, who was there when they de-synced, to touch them and bring them back in sync with the rest of the world.
Guerilla Tactics - Vigilante Class 1-A AU. After the slime villain debacle, Izuku runs away from Bakugou and the heroes. He literally runs into Todoroki Shouto and they commiserate about how the heroes have failed them. Realizing a bit late exactly who Shouto's father is and why he's trying to run away, Izuku offers to come up with a plan to help him get away cleanly. (This is sort of the worst timeline, where most of the good teachers aren't employed at UA, Nezu is not the principal, and the HPSC is in charge of almost everything.) The plan they come up with involves Shouto failing the recommended exam, then disappearing the day results arrive home. Izuku, meanwhile, attends the regular exam and sees how the whole points system benefits those with flashier quirks and easily aimed egos. He gets to talking with a lot of hero hopefuls and sort of steals them out from under UA when their applications are rejected. They move into an abandoned sector of outer Tokyo and start working as vigilantes. Dadzawa makes an appearance, as if summoned by the horde of teenagers with no form of parental guidance to speak of.
No Rest for the Wicked (Or The Damned) - Person Of Interest AU. Instead of apologizing to Izuku when he asked if he could still be a hero without a quirk, Inko points out the other ways he can be a hero, by building the things they would need to fight crime. Figuring that one of the main problems with villains is that no one knows when they're going to attack, Izuku creates an intelligent program that can assess a high volume of data and extrapolate when and where a villain attack will take place, and who the villain will be. When his mom is killed and he's badly injured in an attack his AI predicted, Izuku realizes that no one is taking his information seriously because he's quirkless. He decides to take matters into his own hands and reaches out to an unlikely helper. Dabi doesn't know why this kid decided he was the best option to stop a lot of the more violent crime he somehow knows is going to happen, but he promised and then delivered Endeavor's fall from grace, so he's willing to see where this goes.
Binary Stars - Slight Megamind AU. Before their respective planets were destroyed, Izuku and Bakugou were placed in small space pods and sent towards Earth. Bakugou's people were warriors who looked enough like humans that they intermarried (unbeknownst to humans), thus bringing about the first quirks. Izuku's people, however, are survivors. Their planet was populated by predators so their greatest asset was their ability to camouflage themselves. As Bakugou's people often hunted Izuku's people, they gained a sort of sixth sense for them, which is why Izuku's very presence pisses Bakugou off. (All for One is from Bakugou's planet. He was exiled for stealing power. The last power he stole was what he gave his brother, and the brother always resented him for getting them both sent away.) Izuku still receives OfA, and is the first of his species to have a quirk/power like that.
The Wings of Icarus - Spy AU. Todoroki Shouto works for Yuuei, an espionage agency run by his father. He's been training practically since birth, no thanks to his father, and is second in the spy business only to a person known as Icarus. When something goes wrong on a mission, he is rescued by a short man with freckles and deep green eyes shortly before he passes out. He is found at one of the entrances to Yuuei with a note from Icarus to the tune of "I think you lost this", making Shouto the only person to have actually seen Icarus. Meanwhile, Nezu is running a small but successful info brokerage out of a bakery with three kids he picked up off the streets years before: Izuku, Shinsou, and Hatsume. Codenames: Icarus, Psyche, and Daedalus, respectively. Nezu is known as Zeus.
Dark is the Night (Momo is Batman: version 1) - Based on an idea from @terrible-my-hero-academia-aus . Momo loses her parents in a villain attack when she's eight. She throws herself into her studies in earnest, determined to be a hero. In the meantime, however, she has a hard time ignoring all of the hardship she sees on the streets, all of the crimes that go unanswered. However, to duck the vigilantism laws and disguise her identity, she wears a suit that covers every part of her body (think Cassandra Cain as Batgirl) because no one would assume that someone with a creation quirk that needed exposed skin to function was under it. She produces everything she needs at home. Aizawa notices that there's someone off about Yaomomo, something fake. It isn't until he runs into her on patrol that he figures something out.
Used to the Darkness (Momo is Batman: version 2) - Based on an idea from @terrible-my-hero-academia-aus . Bruce Wayne was reincarnated as Yaoyorozu Momo. She remembers everything about her previous life, but she has adapt all of the fighting training she knows to her new female body. The intelligence and detective skills are useful in this new world, especially since a good portion of logic and deduction has fallen by the wayside for the majority of those in law enforcement. The quirk is something else to get used to, but it's highly effective at producing materials of various things needed for vigilantism. She's interested to see how far she can take the limits of the superpower this universe had given her. At the very least, she's more than capable of recreating the gear she had. Even though her parents haven't died in this universe, she still ends up going out at night and trying to help in whatever way she can. Upon meeting and befriending Todoroki Shouto, she realizes the good she can be in this universe. She attacked the corruption in Gotham wherever she could. Why shouldn't she be able to do the same here? The night is still dark and the people who hide in it are the same cowards they've always been. It's about time someone reminded them that the dark hides more than just their actions.
A Rose By Any Other Name (AKA the Haruhi AU) - Based on a prompt found on @rayshippouuchiha‘s blog. Midoriya Izumi is having trouble staying in uniform after starting middle school because her bullies have decided to step up the abuse a little bit and keep burning them. She had three sets of uniforms, and all three are burned by the third day of classes. What's more, the nurse doesn't have any spare girls uniforms and her teacher insists that she needs to be in uniform and not in her gym outfit. Since the nurse does have a boys uniform that would fit her, Izumi elects to follow her teacher's instructions and shows up in a boys uniform as she doesn't care as much about the clothes she's wearing as she does about following what her teacher said. Cue a gender identity crisis. AO3
Nothing But The Truth - Izuku is hit by a truth quirk while out on patrol and Aizawa is made to babysit him until it wears off. Although he tries to avoid more sensitive lines of questioning, Aizawa asks about his analysis notebooks and ends up accidentally learning about One For All, Izuku's life prior to receiving it, and what his Problem Child's true goals regarding heroism are. (Might become a series with this as a oneshot, or a multi-chapter story as originally planned.)
Panacea - Izuku has a hidden quirk his whole life, one that people didn't even consider could be a quirk. He has a super-powered immune system, and it can and will treat damaging quirks as an infection to fight. His burns from Bakugou's quirk heal faster and faster, emitter quirks used on him start to be less effective after the first couple of times until they don't work at all. He has the ultimate cure in his blood and no way to share it. And then he receives One For All, a powerful stockpiling quirk with a secondary aspect that makes it capable of passing from person to person regardless of heritage. Izuku doesn't realize it, but his invisible quirk got a free pass to start changing the world, one touch at a time. (Possible Dad For One) (Just had the stupid thought that Izuku's quirk is basically Cure For All)
Prototype - While getting scolded after the Slime Villain incident, an underground hero known as Prototype shows up and forces the other pros on the scene to back off. They then walk Izuku home (accidentally forcing him to miss All Might's offer). During the walk, Izuku confesses that he is giving up on his dream of being a hero since everyone says it's impossible. Prototype points out that Izuku was the only one on the scene who was thinking about a solution from more than one angle, which is a useful skill for an underground hero to have. They offer to take him on as their apprentice in the underground, promising that if he still wants to be a hero, an apprenticeship would be more flexible and faster than trying to become a hero through one of the heroics schools. They advise Izuku to think about it and discuss it with his mom, since he would probably be spending a lot of time training out of the house and not every parent is willing to let their child basically move in with someone they barely know. Izuku, after talking things over with his mom, decides to go for it, embarking on a totally different journey to being a hero than he ever expected.
Yesterday's Sunshine (A Storm On The Rise) - Based on @hey-hamlet's End of An Era AU in which the mind of a 19 year old Izuku fighting a losing battle against Paranormal Liberation Front and the League of Villains is sent back to his 14 year old body, a mere month after he started training with All Might. He is traumatized and trying to hide the fact that he is shocked to see the people he knows died walking around again, untouched and whole. He's determined to make everything better this time, to keep his loved ones from dying or betraying him in the worst ways. He also needs to try and stay ahead of the people around him, who are trying to figure out why this child who shouldn't have encountered many villains in his life, is so terrifyingly good at putting them down hard. (I'm considering adding an aspect of DFO.)
Searching for Tododeku - Or Five Times Shouto Tricks Midoriya Into A Date and One Time Midoriya Asks Him Instead. Featuring semi oblivious Izuku, Shouto stealth-competing for the title of supreme memelord with Kaminari, and a cameo of Endeavor's crippling addiction to tabloid magazines.
Planar Shift - An All For One-Izuku body swap just weeks prior to a fight that would have left AFO and All Might both greviously injured. Izuku is quick to realize that the person he ended up in doesn't seem to be a nice person (and he tries not to think about what it would mean if the person is in his body around Kacchan) and has a lot more quirks than a person should have. His childhood doctor is there, as is a strange boy with delicate skin, a disintegration quirk, and a love of video games but little else. Then there's the purple mist person who reads as both alive and dead to one of Izuku's new quirks. When he figures out that All Might is trying to track this villain down (and will probably think it's a trick if Izuku tries to explain his situation), he decides that he should get himself, the kid, and the not-dead-but-not-alive person out of there. He doesn't know how long he's going to be in this body, but he wants to be the hero those two need, even if he's technically a villain.
Environmental Damage - Hitman Izuku AU. When Izuku's mother is killed when he's young, he manages to track down the killer but the police won't take him seriously because he's quirkless. Neither will any of the heroes he approached with it. So instead he goes back to the criminal underground where he found most of his information and talks to an assassin who had a soft spot for him. Izuku agreed to become the man's apprentice so he can take out the person who killed his mother himself. After that, he starts selling his services to people who can't get out of bad situations, offering a much reduced rate compared to other contract killers. Then a kid his age with red and white hair approaches him about killing the Number Two hero.
Summertime and Seaglass - Aizawa keeps running into this mute homeless kid on his patrols. He's not sure what to make of him, except that he needs someone to care for him, especially as the nights are getting colder. Treating the kid a bit like an abused and feral cat, he starts taking food with him to offer the kid when they meet up. It's more or less an accident when he learns the kid's name is Midoriya Izuku, a child thought to be dead and burned three years before when he and his mother were caught in a villain attack that was ended violently by Endeavor. Aizawa wants to give Midoriya and all of the other victims of Endeavor's carelessness the justice they deserve, and maybe by the time he's done the kid will let him bring him in from the cold.
The Importance of Being Batman - (Based on an idea from @terrible-my-hero-academia-aus .) Izuku spends a lot of time on forums for quirkless people, getting support and advice from other people like him who don't have a quirk. He gets the attention of an old Admin, Toshinori, and they talk about heroics, pre-quirk comic books, and the importance of representation and symbols in modern media and culture. After failing to get into heroics in the entrance exam, Izuku shifts his focus slightly. Batman didn't have any special powers in the comics, but he was one of the best heroes in his universe. Izuku decides that if he can build the skills, knowledge and (most importantly) money to become his own version of Batman, that would be almost like being a hero. It's time that society learns that 'useless' is a matter of choice, not birth, and even someone who doesn't have a quirk can do incredible things.

✨Naruhina meets the Love Square Au✨
I've had this idea in my head (and drafts) for ages! And it's time it got out!
Tagging: @flashflashitsash @johnnycatalina for wanting more of this AU! And @chloelapomme who's want of Kurama interacting with the kwamis gave me an idea for the next one! which I swear I'll write! 😭😭😭 Eventually.
Adrien needs pick up lines to use on Ladybug and asks the "smoothest" person he knows . After all, he makes his girlfriend turned fiancee blush like it's nothing! Naruto is flattered, flustered, confused, and eventually determined. And Adrien? He's already planning the wedding.
"I need your help!" a blond burst through the door and revealed a frazzled Adrien Agreste and a more tired than usual looking Plagg.
Naruto Uzumaki looked up from his fourteenth bowl of ramen of the day and raised an eyebrow at his fellow blond. Ever since the two had met, they had become the best of friends, Adrien even earning himself a copy of keys to his absolutely crappy apartment building. (The highest of honors from someone poor.) And they trusted each other enough for the young Agreste to share his secret identity and secret life with him.
"What's up?" he asked after slurping up any remaining noodles in his bowl, ignoring the floating black blob of a kwami that lazily said to ignore his miraculous holder.
"I need pick-up lines." the younger boy responded with the most serious look on his face as Plagg settled in his favorite spot in Naruto's apartment - the windowsill in the kitchen with plants and tons of sun. One day he hoped to add some cat nap to his small garden to see how the cat like creation would react. Though the prank sounded a little mean and he had no clue how the little God of destruction would react, he had a reputation as the Village Prankster to uphold.
Naruto's thoughts quickly trailed back from his future prank to Adrien's request when he fully comprehended what his friend was truly asking. Pick-up lines? From him? The dead last who's childhood crush would reward with a bruise just by looking in her direction? After an unconscious rub to the top of his blond locks, Naruto couldn't help but feel somewhat flattered that his friend thought he was smooth enough to have pick-up lines on hand, not that he did, but still.
The shinobi's head moved from left to right as he followed Adrien's movement as he paced back and forth in front of the kitchen table.
"I've tried every line I know! Even puns! How Ladybug doesn't love me after telling her my purr-illiant puns I will never know. " the green eyed teen waved his hands for emphasis.
Naruto grinned his signature grin and chuckled lightly at the cat pun. "You're telling me that the legendary Chat Noir puns™ aren't working, dattebayo?"
When they had first met, the Uzumaki was shocked at Adrien's love (and ability to transform anything into) for puns. While he wouldn't put himself at the Adrien Agreste level of loving puns, he did enjoy hearing some of the out of the box puns the young boy would spit out. This came as quite as a surprise to Hinata and caused Marinette to gain some weird kind of twitch.
"See! You get it! The only advice Plagg was to "stop worrying and pass me more camembert" the not so secret superhero did his best to impersonate his kwami and rolled his eyes. "Soooo... about those pick-up lines?"
"That was pretty good, dattebayo. And I would love to help you, Adrien." Adrien's bright eyes dimmed at the feel of the upcoming "but" and Naruto felt himself cringe. "But I don't have any pick-up lines. And if I did, I probably wouldn't be single."
"But what about Hinata? Aren't you two dating?" Adrien's head tilted and Naruto was reminded of a innocent kitten.
Blue eyes widened. "Dating? H-hinata?" Even though he and Hinata had gotten closer, especially after meeting Marinette and Adrien and learning and keeping multiple secrets from said people. And even though Hinata had gotten stronger, prettier, and cooler than the last time he had seen her did not mean that he wanted to date her (and even if he did which he didn't, she wouldn't want to date him) did not mean that they were dating.
Adrien nodded his head until he recalled something Marinette warned him not to do. "I know that you guys are keeping it a secret but I promise we haven't told anyone!" he used his hands to create an "X" for emphasis in an anime like fashion.
Naruto blinked back in shock. Not only did one person (wrongfully) think that he and Hinata were dating but two? If word got out about this what would Hinata say? And he could only imagine what the Hyuga would do to him. He shuddered at the mental image of Neji his mind came up with. "We?" he repeated
A nod came from the young Agreste as took a seat at the table, more or less evening their eye contact. "Marinette knows too, of course. She's the one who told me about your relationship - I was totally clueless." he scratched the back of his neck, a habit the two friends shared.
Naruto smiled at his sentence which was more or less a self quip. As much as the ninja loved being friends with him, the boy was extremely oblivious. And Marinette being the other person to he and Hinata were 'dating' was perfect!
He and the designer girl were siblings in video game arms, though she was the more advanced out of the two (something he was still slightly upset about). She was also someone that he trusted with his life and not just because she was the other half of Paris' crime fighting duo but because of her great left and right hook. She might have been small but boy was the girl tough.
After he gave into Hinata's puppy dog eyes and the two promised that their miraculous holders' identities were safe in exchange for a chance to use the other miraculous, Marinette said that she trusted him enough to share her secret. Which meant the two older teens could have another spin with the magical jewels. (While Hinata looked amazing in both costumes, he preferred the jet pack like wings he gained with his Narubug? Narubug outfit.)
Before Naruto could fully shut down Adrien's dating theory, the boy said something that the Hokage wannabe will never forget.
"You might want to dial down on the flirting if you don't want anyone else to know. You're the one that made it obvious, especially after last week." Adrien said giving his advice before he brighten with an idea. "Hey, could we be apart of the wedding party?! Plagg could even the ring bear! Or even better: the ring cat! What do you think, Plagg?" he turned his head excitedly in the cat god's direction.
"Don't drag me into this kid." the kwami said from his place between a blue iris and yellow chrysanthemum in the windowsill and Adrien pouted in response.
Naruto's head spun as more and more information filled inside. First Adrien thought he and Hinata were dating, which they weren't, unfortunately, and now he's talking about a wedding?? What the hell happened last week?!
The Parisian continued to blab excitedly, not aware of his friend's confusion and turmoil. "After Hinata fainted, I was sure that Marinette was gonna faint too. She was choking on her croissant for a while after your proposal. And it really did come out of nowhere. But it was so smooth! Naruto, you know I'll still be your friend even if you're keeping pick-up lines from me, right?" he paused for a second as the ninja nodded, still baffled by the conversation.
His week was filled back to back with missions and the last time he had seen Marinette was... at last week's picnic. He thought back to last week when the six (including the hidden kwamis!) had a group picnic where he had complemented Hinata's cooking and she had fainted. Nothing too out of the ordinary there. But you would think he'd remember proposing to someone he had known all his life. All he had said to her was - His heart momentarily stopped. That she would make a wonderful wife. He told her that she'd make a wonderful wife and thus (unknowingly and not really) proposed to Hinata. But he had been saying that since they were kids! Which meant. That he had been proposing this whole time. And that they had been engaged this whole time. And nobody told him.
A light blush grew on his cheeks at the thought of being engaged (and in the future married) to Hinata. He wasn't lying when he had (repeatedly) said that she'd make a wonderful wife but the thought of her being his wife brought up a new feeling all together! Though he couldn't put a name to it, it made him feel all fluttery on the inside.
While he wasn't exactly sure if the fainting was a good thing or a bad thing he knew that if they were gonna be engaged, he might as well propose properly!
"And there will be ramen, of course. But Plagg's gonna want camembert so do you think you could slip that on the menu?" While Naruto was busy thinking through the whole proposal thing, Adrien was busy mentally planning the wedding.
Naruto suddenly stood up causing Adrien to look up at him confused. "We need to go." he stated with a serious look on his face.
Adrien stood up quickly, worried there was a threat. "Where are we going?" he asked with an eyebrow raised.
With a smirk attached to his face, Naruto put on his bright orange jacket. "You know anything about ring sizes?"
Green eyes widened. "YOU DIDN'T BUY HER A RING?!? I thought you had given it to her when you were alone! Let's go. Plagg, we'll be back." he suddenly rushed towards the door, knowing nothing about ring sizes.
As the two blonds ran out the door to the nearest jewelry store, Plagg sighed. "This is why I prefer cheese. Girls are WAY too complicated." the cat like being of destruction snuggled back in his place, hoping Adrien would bring back some cheese along with the engagement ring.
The end!! Thank you for reading and I hoped you enjoyed!! 😁😁 maybe one day I'll share my sorta but not really companion like piece for the girls!

How the Earth got a second moon (Naruto AU). Part II. About the Uchiha’s and the Senju’s.
+Indra manages to find a girl who isn’t scared silly by Kurama, now stuck by his side because “it’s fun to watch him try and fail to communicate with humans” (his words).
+She’s black hair and razors in her tongue. Kurama likes when those razors are directed to Indra or some third party who understimate them (he loves those, Kurama laughs so hard he wheezes).
+As the children come and grow playing with Kurama’s tails and burying themselves in his soft fur, Indra gives them the surname of his wife, “Uchiha”, and she dress them in deep blues and purples with a red fan in embroiderer in the back (she had lost a bet with her sister-in-law and she a woman of her word).
+Kurama watches them grow and grows solemn as Indra and Ashura meet, maybe for the last time, with white hairs to share a bottle of good old sake.
+Ashura offers the protection of their old land, Indra refuses for himself, he has a duty their Father trusted him with but promises to tell his wife and children.
+She refuses, and so do the children. They were raises by godly existences and the bijuu’s will watched over them as much the Uchiha’s will watch over the bijuu’s. Indra’s duty passes down to his children.
+Indra calls the bijuu’s to say farewell and promises to reincarnate, again and again, for as long as they exist. The bijuu tie a fragment of their chakra to Indra’s soul as it leaves the Ootsutsuki soul leaves the mortal plane, to reincarnate, somewhere, somewhen.
+Ashura finds Kurama and they reminisce about Indra. Ashura promises to share Indra’s duty for eternity, it’s his time to help his brother.
+Ashura looks at the small young second moon in the sky and smirks, “serves you right” he thinks, and feels his soul leave his body surronded by his family.
+Ashura’s children separate in two branches: the Uzumaki, his youngest son’s wife surname; and the Senju, his first daughter’s husband’s surname. His eldest decides to let die the Ootsutsuki name and regrets nothing, not when he sees his husband’s brilliant smile with eyes as loving as the first day.
+Centuries pass and the Senju, Uzumaki, and Uchiha grow distant from one another. They settle for neutrality when the old records fall apart.
+The Senju staid in the land of Fire while the Uzumaki migrated to the sea, the Uchiha wander following the signals of the bijuu’s and earn quite the reputation: favored by the gods, demons, red eyed demi-gods, cursed-eyed, take your pick.
+The clans and shinobi still try to get their blessed cursed eyes while by stealing or marriage, the shinobi more prone to the first option than the nobles.
+Kurama migrates from the deserts to the forest, he feels Indra’s soul coming back.
+At the same time, the Uchiha’s head holds his first born in his arms. He has the feeling that he will be one of the greatest if not The Greatest Uchiha since Indra. His mother wipes because a hero can only be born from tragedy, and she’s right.
+As soon as Madara is aware of his surroundings he tugs his father’s pants and points towards the East. The elders can feel the tug of their principal deity, Kurama, the nine tailed bijuu, in said direction. He decides to start training Madara as soon as he can, that’s the direction of the land of Fire, where more shinobi clans than not habit, and they’re all eager to get their hands on the sharingan... or the Kyubi.
+Madara is a genius, he makes his first kill at five when a Nara tries to ambush his pregnant mother as she recollects edible berries. She can’t exactly figth and hunt when she’s seven months pregnant. She shush his crying and bath him clean of blood.
+Izuna is the most precious little thing Madara has ever laid his eyes on, when Izuna grabs his finger, Madara swears he will always protect him. There’re few things as shameful to Uchihas than to become oathbreakers, even if the oath it to themselves.
+When the Uchiha reach the Land of Fire, and after quite a bit of conflicts with the resident shinobi clans, Madara meets a boy by the riverbank. He doesn’t know why he feels like Hashirama’s presence fills a void in his chest he never noticed before.
+Soon, the heads of the Senju’s and the Uchiha’s clash, the Uchiha’s wants to travel through their territory, the Senju do not want to let them go. Even if the clan heir look at the black haired, corded muscled Uchiha envoy as if he wanted to ask a million and one things, Tobirama manages to glare him into sumission.
+As things stand, the Uchiha’s try two more times nicely before a greedy elder schemes to either get an Uchiha bride or kill a sharingan user. The war breaks out.
+Madara can’t believe that Hashirama is a Senju, his enemy, a eyestealer. It just feels wrong, but he can feel the pull of the East, someone is waiting for him.
+The first time Madara calls, truly calls, upon the bijuu, a privilege reserved for Indra; it’s in this situation: an albino Senju is making rapid progress towards Izuna section and he can already see the result of their clash. He loves his little brother and knows him to be a great shinobi, but Madara had an oath to himself and no Uchiha is an oathbreaker.
+Kurama’s paw lands between the two, and the whole world is stunned enough they forget that they’re fighting.
+Hashirama calls upon his mokuton the moment he register that a huge, red eyed, nine tailed, mountain sized fox is looking towards his little brother like he wants to eat him.
+Kurama laughs, half-hysteric, as he realizes that ‘Indra’ and ‘Ashura’ are in opposites sides of the battlefield. He still fights by ‘Indra’’s (Madara, he learns later, his name now was Madara) side as the Uchiha’s retreat. Their obtetive was already achived: their guardian was with them.
+The Senju try to smooth the whole thing by setting a trial for the man that started it all. The Uchiha’s do not come despite the invitation.
+Hashirama sits by the river of his childhood and prays that Madara comes one day, so they can talk and apologize and plan so they can build the village of their dreams. Hashirama misses Madara as long as he waits for him.
+A year pass before Kurama gets tired of their shit and sends Madara flying towards the river, Hashirama does his best to catch him, but it only result in messing Madara’s planned emergency landing. They end up in the floor in a tangle of limbs, but it hurts indefinetly less than the landing Madara had planning. Hashirama starts laughing with Madara still in his arms, the Uchiha joins soon enough.
+Madara and Hashirama reconnect and feel like the hole in their hearts gets filled again. They swear to built their village as soon as they become clan heads.
+Kurama tells Madara’s father about Ashura’s soul and he promises to give up the mattle to Madara as soon as Hashirama’s father either steps down or dies, wichever comes first.
+Hashirama’s father, Butsuma Senju, dies four years later. The conflict with the Uchiha’s was already no longer in its peak, so when Madara, recently elected clan leader, accepts the treaty and proposition from the new Senju leader, there’s not as much opposition as it would have if they had continue fighting.
+Kurama smirks as the village is built and the Uchiha’s settle, ‘This is good enough,’ he thought. ‘They’re not homeless anymore’.
+From then on, story repeats itself, Hashirama is elected Hokage while Madara reteats to the forest with Kurama. The Uchiha’s have all the power they need to make it count, few people would go against a ‘god’, much less a ‘demon’. Kurama is happy to leave the interpretation to them.
+The Uchiha’s pass down in Konoha’s history as protectors of the village, keepers of the demons and servers of the old religion. Danzou hates it.

Hey! Would like to request a story for Kurama x Botan from YYH, with some angst and hurt/comfort because that's the good stuff lol Thanks in advance! =D
Hey! I hope this is something like what you want!
Fandom: Yu Yu Hakusho
Pairing: Kurama/Botan
Words: 1268
Warnings: none
Botan sighed as she looked at the spirit she floated in front of.
“Sir, I’m sorry but you have to come with me. You’ve….” Botan tried again for the third time to get the man to understand.
He glared at her.
“No! You listen here! I’m not going anywhere! Not with you, or anyone!” He declared again.
Botan’s head dropped down and she groaned softly.
“Sir please. You have to come with me you can’t just….” Botan was once again interrupted.
“I said no! You stupid bitch, I said I wasn’t going anywhere!” The man said angrily as he advanced on Botan.
Botan sighed and groaned again, before looking at him with her own glare.
“Fine! Stay! Get stuck on earth for all eternity! See if I care!” she said before flying off.
Botan sighed in relief as her feet touched down in spirit world, before she walked into the building. She headed towards Koenma’s office to explain what had happened and then to sign out for lunch.
“You’ll just have to keep trying Botan there’s nothing else to be done. And don’t be late for you next appointment!” Koenma said firmly without looking up from his work.
Botan turned with a huff and walked out of his office and the building all together, with a sigh her shoulders slumped as she moved to sit atop her oar. She took flight to the human world and let a small smile grace her face as she let herself relax, knowing a certain someone was bound to help her feel better. She paused outside of his work before taking a breath and ghosting through the wall into his office, still invisible. She watched him finish a meeting for a few minutes before he dismissed his co-workers.
“I thought we were meeting at the diner, not that I’m not happy to see you sooner.” The red head said as he turned to face her.
Botan smiled became visible to everyone, not just him.
“We were originally. But today’s been a day and I just…. wanted to see you.” Botan said softly as she walked towards him.
Kurama smiled softly, concern creasing his brow a bit as he held his hand out pulling her down into his lap. He reached up and brush her blue hair out of her pink eyes.
“That doesn’t sound very good.” Kurama said and it wasn’t a question.
Botan sighed softly and nodded leaning her forehead against his shoulder.
“No, it’s not. I’ve had three souls fight me repeatedly on going to spirit world and Koenma’s done nothing about it! If it was just verbal fighting that’d be one thing.” Botan said softly voice muffled against his shoulder.
Kurama froze slightly at her words as they fully registered in his brain. He titled his head down and lifted hers with his finger, to meet her eyes.
“What do you mean if it was just words?” He asked his voice calm and quiet.
Botan shivered slightly at the undertone in his voice, she knew what it meant.
“One guy slapped me and another shoved me and I hit a wall. I’m ok though don’t worry!” Botan said trying to put some cheer in her voice, it came out sounding false.
Kurama stood still holding her gently and settled her in his office chair, pressing a kiss to her forehead.
“I’ll be right back, then we can go to lunch.” He finally said with a small smile.
Botan nodded watching him. After his door closed she leaned back and closed her eyes.
‘This isn’t going to end well, is it?’ she thought sarcastically to herself as she waited for Kurama to return.
After a few minutes, Kurama returned with his jacket on and his bag in hand, he offered her his free hand.
“Shall we?” he asked smiling at her gently.
She couldn’t help the smile that spread across her face, as she nodded and took his offered hand.
“We shall.” She said softly.
Kurama lead her from the building, and towards a little Café on the corner that they frequented. They settled into their normal table, outside in a back corner surrounded by the flowering bushes that worked as privacy barriers between the outside seating and the pedestrians on the street. It also helped it was far enough for the other tables, that they could talk relatively freely without anyone over hearing them. They spent a nice time relaxing over lunch and Botan sighed softly as she realized the time.
“I don’t want to go back. But I have to get back to work. Koenma wants those spirits in spirit world by the end of today.” She said softly looking up at him, her pink eyes meeting his green.
Kurama gave her a smile as he stood and offered her his hand.
“Well then we should get going.” He said softly.
Botan gave him a confused look as she took his hand, standing with him.
“What do you mean? What about your work?” she asked looking up at him.
He carefully brushed her hair from her face.
“Don’t worry, I took care of it. I’m all yours for the rest of today.” Kurama said softly.
Botan smiled up at him, slightly confused still but also grateful. The two of them walked off, Botan tugging them lightly into an alley where she went invisible and he smiled as he watched her. After a minute she smiled at him, and took his hand lifting them into the sky to go back around the city back to the first spirit that had caused her issues.
“Not you again, you sniveling bitch! I already told you I ain’t goin’ an….” The man’s sentence broke off mid word as he turned and saw just who was standing there.
Kurama who had been leaning against a lamppost, hands in his pockets stood up and stepped closer to the spirit.
“I believe you owe Botan an apology and to go with her peacefully. We wouldn’t want anything….hm…unsavory to happen to you, now, would we?” Kurama asked voice smooth and low.
Botan felt a shiver run down her spine at his tone. The spirit was obviously affected as well as he quickly apologized and agreed to go with her to Spirit world. Botan turned to look at Kurama who smiled and waved.
“I’ll be here when you get back. And maybe we can even have a nice early dinner at home, then relax a little.” Kurama said as he moved over to sit on a bench.
“Thank you, I’ll be back!” Botan called before bringing the spirit up.
She returned and the scene repeated a few more times before the day was done. When they got home, Kurama sent Botan to go relax for a little bit and he made dinner. They ate a simple dinner before curling up in bed with a show playing in the background.
“You didn’t have to do that, but I grateful you did.” Botan whispered an hour or so later.
Kurama smiled down at her, leaning over and pressing a kiss to her forehead.
“I’d do anything for you, even if it means playing the big bad fox to a couple of disagreeable spirits.” He said with a small laugh.
Botan giggled with him and snuggled in close, yawning softly and slowly falling asleep. Kurama smiled at her again, setting his book to the side and pressing another kiss to the top of her head. He reached over flipped the light off and slid down in bed, allowing himself to relax and fall asleep with Botan curled in his arms.

Chapter 5: Tornado of Terror
“You were never attracted to me.”
Botan’s eyes almost popped out of her head and her lips pursed up until her mouth had almost disappeared from her face entirely.
“What was so different about Charanko’s father?” Hiei asked.
Botan frowned, her face looking even more ridiculous.
“You never wanted to sleep with me.”
Her lips opened out and her jaw slowly fell open.
“So just tell me, was it “love at first sight” with the emiko you did sleep with?”
She shook her head.
“What did he do then?”
“A-are you asking me…?”
Hiei growled in frustration.
“I wouldn’t have said no,” he ground out.
“T-to what?” Botan asked.
“Why him?” Hiei demanded. “Why did you lay down with another emiko? Why did you let him impregnate you? Why when you never… If it’s not because of the way he looks, then why is it you wanted him?”
Botan’s head slowly tilted over to one side and she gave Hiei a strange look that only irritated him further.
“All that time I was stuck here in the human world,” he said bitterly. “You never once indicated that you… And now you’ve just met some other emiko and…”
“Hiei, are you asking me why I’m not attracted to you, even though I was attracted to another emiko?” she asked.
“Yes!” he yelled.
“Well… It’s not quite… That is to say…”
She cleared her throat and smoothed her hands over her hair, tucking the strands that had fallen loose back into her ponytail, before a sickening grin appeared on her face and she sprouted cat ears and whiskers.
“Hiei, are you jealous that I fell in love with an emiko who wasn’t you?” she asked.
“Idiot, that’s not it at all!” he snapped. “I just meant that if you find that look appealing, you could have mentioned it before.”
“Why?” she asked, almost purring at him as she revelled in his agony.
“Because all that time I was stuck here, we could have been–!”
“Could have been what, Hiei?”
“We could have been fucking!”
“Oh my…”
Hiei turned his head sharply at the disapproving voice that had just spoken, finding Kurama standing a short distance from him, his hands clamped over Charanko’s ears.
“What does fucking mean?”
Hiei turned around and found Yusuke standing behind Botan, with Tatsumaki at his side.
“It’s what your parents did to make you,” Yusuke flatly told her.
