Hello! If your request are open I was wondering could you do headcanons for fem reader x Kumiho cookie or Raspberry Cookie? Unless you've already done something for them I haven't been able to find it. ^^

when it comes to pet names she generally leans towards cutesy stuff (think: ‘sweetie’, ‘honey’, ‘baby’, etc.) but she usually just uses your name unless she actively wants something from you — like your attention if she feels like you’re ‘neglecting her’ too much

on the other hand, she hates being called by her ‘name’ and much prefers being referred to as all sorts of cute pet names by you — so anything from ‘darling’ and ‘dearest’ to ‘angel’ and ‘cutie’ is completely fine by her (and will be rewarded if such terms of endearment don’t come as naturally to her you as they do to her)

she’s very physically affectionate and always seems to be hanging off of your body when you’re together (an arm around your shoulder, cuddling into your side whilst hugging your arm, hugging you from behind, kissing your neck/cheek/lips randomly, etc.) and she’s also very liberal when it comes to complimenting you (when you’re with her it’s pretty much impossible to think negatively about yourself) — but her main love language is actually quality time

she’s absolutely the type of girlfriend to pick at your food when you’re eating even though she doesn’t necessarily need to eat like you do — she’s also the sort to enjoy being ‘cutesy’ by hand feeding you sweets, fruits, and snacks whenever you’re eating together

being with you and knowing that you’re spending time with her because you care for her as a person and aren’t just caught up in her charm and seduction is incredibly comforting and reassuring for kumiho cookie — especially if that quality time allows her to shed her human form for a bit and be playful in her original body (bonus points if you let her nap on/beside you whilst she’s a fox because those bouts of sleep are the best she ever has)

she’s quick to jealousy but the way that she goes about showing it isn’t exactly obvious to anyone that isn’t really close to her (anyone but you, in other words): being extra affectionate towards you, verbally flirting with you, batting her eyelashes at you, trying to lure you away from the other party through whatever means possible, and subtly glaring at and goading the person she’s jealous of whenever you’re not looking at her

kumiho cookie is forever bragging about you and all of your accomplishments to anyone who will listen — discussing the treats and foods you’ve made for her with vendors at the markets she frequents, charming others into doing what she wants whilst dropping in comments about how in love she is with you (making it clear that she’s taken whilst still getting whatever she desires from them), and gushing over the last date you took her on with those she gets along with (usually okchun cookie after she helps her village) whenever she gets the chance

raspberry cookie defaults to terms of endearment that are more ‘traditional’ and ‘respectable’ because of her upbringing, social status, and the perception of her within her family (and because of it) — so things like ‘darling’, ‘angel’ and ‘my dear’ are common place for her

her main love languages are acts of service (giving) and words of affirmation (receiving) — she’s forever bringing you your favourite foods from the markets and running you baths after long days, and after a stressful day of training or an event where she felt like she fell just short of her goal, she loves nothing more than coming home to you and being wrapped up in your arms as you tell her, earnestly, how much you love her and how proud you are of her for how far she’s come

her kisses are all very chaste and appropriate until the two of you are married (and even then she’s still very proper around others) because of how she’s been brought up: light pecks to the insides of your wrists, chaste kisses along each knuckle and fingertip, kissing the back of your hand before she leaves you to go and train, pressing her lips to your temple/the crown of your head before you part ways for a longer period of time, and even chastely pecking your lips in a stolen moment of privacy at one of the grand royal balls held by queen hollyberry and her family

she’s incredibly protective over you and isn’t afraid to challenge anyone who dares to insult or mistreat you to a duel — though they very rarely take her up on her offer due to her reputation as a skilled swordswoman and the vast majority will trip over their words in an attempt to apologise to you before fleeing with their tails between their legs

when talking to others she never uses the words ‘girlfriend’ or ‘partner’ to refer to you as she doesn’t like the sound of them — ‘my beloved’ is the term she uses most often for you and, later on in your relationship, she’ll start calling you things like ‘my fiancée’ and ‘my wife’ with so much obvious pride that it makes your heart swell

she doesn’t really get jealous so much as she gets protective over you — she trusts you with everything she has and knows that you’d never stray from your relationship, but she’s also keenly aware of the fact that there are others in the kingdom that are interested in you and that won’t necessarily respect a simple ‘no thank you’ or another such form of rejection (hence why she insists on training you to protect yourself and why she always sticks close by you when you’re in public together)

if you offer to feed her some of whatever you’re eating (e.g. picking a single grape off of the vine, or taking a small piece of the cake you’re testing and bringing it to her lips to try), then raspberry cookie will promptly go pink in the cheeks and timidly accept your offer — she’s not used to small ‘cute’ gestures like that, which is plainly obvious once you get to know her, but she appreciates them nonetheless

Alright, so I finished the designs for the kumidark swap au

I don’t know whether to talk about the designs first or the characters. Eh, probably the characters so that people get the context

So like I described in the original post, the swap au is basically where Dark Choco and Kumiho swap places, with Dark Choco being the magic fox while Kumiho is the disgraced warrior

And as you can tell in the image, their names were also changed, particularly since Kumiho is named after being a kumiho, which she no longer is. I named Dark Choco Dark Kumiho because he’s now a kumiho, and put on the Dark prefix because it differentiates him from Kumiho, and also because he generally had darker colors, so it works. As for Kumiho, her name’s Marshmallow Fluff because Kumiho is called a marshmallow fox, but the name Marshmallow Cookie is already taken, so Marshmallow Fluff it is. I’m gonna be referring to the characters as such moving forward

So as might be evident, not only have they swapped roles, but also personalities. I’m not sure I want to call Dark Kumiho flirty, but he’s a very confident and sassy dude, who probably just follows Marshmallow Fluff to playfully tease her. However, his confident act is a facade, and in truth he’s very lonely. I’m not sure what to make his backstory though, and whether it has something to do with his father or not. The original plot point for him was that he was a male kumiho, since from what I understand, kumihos are almost all female, with me only finding one story where there was a male one (note that I originally made this au months ago, and I don’t actually remember where I found it, just that I did), so he Dark Kumiho is kind of an outsider amongst his own people, hence why he wants to become a Cookie. But I’m not sure about keeping it since that means no Dark Cacao, and I like Dark Cacao (though I’m not sure what his name would be here). Just know that Dark Kumiho probably has some tragic backstory which leaves him very lonely and wanting to be a Cookie so he can find companionship. I just haven’t decided what that backstory is yet

And as for Marshmallow Fluff, she’s far more serious than her original, and she basically goes around as a wandering mercenary, with no real end goal in mind. One idea I had (which I’m not sure I portrayed very well) is that she’s supposed to look small and kind of cute, so people don’t take her seriously, but she’s an absolute badass. But also she’s not fond of people and just spends her time being miserable. She also has some tragic backstory, either about being betrayed by someone close to her or betraying that someone herself, but I can’t really tell you specifics since, well…Kumiho really doesn’t have much lore to work with. Like other than wanting to be a real Cookie, I don’t think she has much lore, nor characters connected to it. She kind of just gets roped in with the other animal Cookies and that’s the most they do with her, and frankly I don’t think they’ll give her much lore going forward. So in terms of something connected to her canon and who this other character is, I don’t know. But the whole event basically changed her life and now she’s where she’s at. Also it’s probably where she got that scar

Okay, let’s talk about designs now

So for Dark Kumiho, I’ll be honest I think he looks much better. Probably because Dark Choco has other outfits that fit that I can work with. I gave him his long hair back since I thought it fit with him not having the same backstory as canon (I imagine Dark Choco chopped off his hair because of his betrayal, which didn’t happen here), and I basically just copy pasted his Vestments of Old Memories costume, minus the shoulderpads and cape, since I thought it worked. I gave him a ponytail instead of just having his hair down so it could allude more to fox tails, and it’s also why I gave him his white bits only at the ends

As for Marshmallow Fluff, she doesn’t really have much to work with in terms of her canon outfits, so I basically had to make things up. I knew I wanted to give her short hair, with the idea that she used to have hair like canon, but she later cut her hair short once after the betrayal event. Took me a bit to get the hair but I eventually did. So her outfit is mostly based on Dark Choco’s, though with different shoulderpads and a different bottom piece, which was inspired by some armor I saw at the Royal Armoury over here in Britain (I know I probably shouldn’t be taking inspiration from a western design for armor (specifically I believe it was French), but I’m pretty sure Dark Choco was originally designed with a more western knight look than eastern, so maybe it’s fine). I think the shoulderpads were originally going to look more like marshmallows, but that didn’t end up happening, so they look like that

Two things I didn’t originally plan to put in were Marshmallow Fluff’s eye scar and her streaks, since I didn’t envision her missing an eye and her highlights were supposed to be at the bottom of her hair, which she no longer had, but I gave Dark Kumiho Kumiho’s whisker markings and fox hair, so I thought it fair to give the eye scar and streaks to Marshmallow Fluff. Though to be honest I’m not sure I like how they turned out. Maybe I should have just stuck with two eyes and no streaks. I mean she’d still have a scar somewhere

One thing I wasn’t sure I’d be able to pull off with their swap looks was keeping their original eye shapes, but honestly I think I did good and they look fine with both

Also you’ll notice that neither have weapons or accessories of any kind. That’s because I couldn’t decide what those weapons/accessories would be; whether Dark Kumiho gets a fan and Marshmallow Fluff gets a sword, whether Dark Kumiho still has a sword, whether they both have completely different things, I’m not sure. Though I suppose now I’m liking them just swapping things. Though either way Dark Kumiho still can attack with his fox form, which is frankly much bigger than a normal fox

Anyways yeah, I think that’s about it. Sorry if you’re disappointed with how little I talked about them, especially how they interact, I admit the story isn’t thought out as much as I’d like, and I think I have a hard time describing people’s personalities and how they interact with others. I’d rather just draw that or something. I hope to draw more of these two, but I say that about every new character and au, so I’m not sure I will, at least not before moving on to something else

But anyways, I hope you still enjoy it!

Edit: I made another one with the original ideas for Marshmallow Fluff, and if I’m being honest I like this one a bit more. Which one do you guys like more?

Welp guess who's back again. Simultaneously took longer, and shorter than intended, but I've got something in the works, but have something to show for it now at least!

It's an AU that is.. yet to have a name, but the basis is that all cookies have animal features! :]

With that in mind, here's the two designs I've got so far!

(Putting them under a cut so the post isn't too long, lol)

Pure Vanilla, a sheep with warm wool, and an equally warm smile. The king of the Vanilla kingdom, he's a gentle and calm healer, and though he has incredible expertise in magic of all kinds, retains healing and protection as his specialties. He really likes his space and his privacy, despite how friendly he is.

I'm not sure about the staff I gave him, but we'll see... It still has the same functionality as his usual orchid staff, just.. a couple more flowers that are much, much smaller. His usual outfit is the one on the right, which is basically his canon outfit, but with the addition of lotsa fluff, hehe! The left is an alternative outfit inspired somewhat by the Pastel Blue costume, because I love it a lot hehehe!

Shadow Milk Blueberry Milk, an eccentric and theatrical rabbit who lives in Pure Vanilla's dreams, quite literally. His situation is somewhat of a mystery to Pure Vanilla, but he knows the rabbit is rather lonely without him. Blueberry Milk is full of jokes, excitement and energy, making every night entertaining through a handmade stageplay, or an intriguing conversation. He's incredibly intelligent despite his chipper and lax attitude, which shows clearest in deeper conversations.

His design is very inspired by the statue seen in Episode 7, though also with definite use of Shadow Milk's current design, and referencing his sprites a little, especially for colors. He might get some design changes over time, mostly adding some details perhaps? His outfit feels a little too plain for him methinks... haveta think about it I suppose :3

In Pure Vanilla's dreams, he'd made a friend unlike any other, and they ended up becoming closer and closer to each other after years and years of talking each and every night. After all, Blueberry already knew Vanilla's deepest secret, so for once, there was nothing for him to hide... which I'll get into later. ;]

I will note, some other characters and their animals have been figured out but not too many. I have most of the other ancients, and some of the other beasts though!

Dark Cacao: Moose Golden Cheese: Bird(Wow, shocker.. still haven't figured out what kind yet though, because it will be more specific than 'bird') White Lily: Mantis(Possibly Orchid Mantis) Hollyberry: I'm trying to decide between Draconic or a Bear.. hmm...

Mystic Flour: Spider Burning Spice: Lion Honestly don't know enough about the other two beasts to decide for them quite yet methinks..

Here's some more loose ideas I have for other characters:

Werewolf is going to be a wolf, obviously. Cream Ferret, Fig, Kumiho and Cream Unicorn are along the same lines for obvious reasons. Crunchy Chip will also be a wolf most likely(unless I get a better idea(unlikely)) I think Rye should be either a cow or horse I would like the faeries to be bugs, specifically along the lines of butterflies and moths The mer cookies like Crimson Coral, Sorbet Shark, Frilled Jellyfish, Squid Ink, etc. probably will mostly remain how they are, and same with the dragons. Chili Pepper might be a raccoon, or a weasel because I think it'd be funny Strawberry I think is gonna be some kind of cat. Not sure about Wizard and Gingerbrave right now though

One wonders how other cookies would react when Y/n cookie is overly stressed from a chaotic and grueling cooperate job?

This won’t do at all. Baguette knew you were a hardworking cookie already based on your feats back at the department, but to see you work yourself further into the ground for a company that may have missed a guideline or two on the workplace. She’ll likely hold back on your more difficult tasks in the TBD and follow you around to make sure burnout didn’t take its toll on you. She may also report the practices of this company to the proper cookies, she hates it when authority over cookies abuse their power towards others, especially towards a cookie she fancies.

Almond Cookie is getting you into his squad car, AC cranked up with his jacket over your back. He’s looking into this to see if these company standards are even legal, because seeing you with tired eyes, stiff movements, and mushy dough is not normal. He’s taking you home where you can rest while he looks into the matter, this company is getting thrown the book if he spots even ONE infraction with their policies. He refused to see you crumble away like this!

Pizza Cookie knew you had a tough job and all, but when she felt your hand after a pizza delivery, how stiff it felt, she knew something was up. She could relate to having any of these symptoms of stress, it’s why Dr. Bones Cookie wouldn’t leave her alone about and she doesn’t want him bothering you about your own health too. She’ll try to keep you outside during deliveries as long as she can, anything to give you a semblance of break from your grueling work. Might even leave a review on the place too if it helps you in anyway.

Good Tingly-Bones! Dr. Bones is in utter astonishment when he felt your soft and mushy dough as well as your toppings on the verge of melting off with stress! That was it, he’s writing a doctor’s note to your company to excuse for you for the week-no! For nearly a whole month, this level of stress can severely affect your health in the long run! Don’t worry, Bones will be your personal doctor for the whole break period, he had to make sure you were safe and getting the rest you needed!

Kumiho Cookie takes pride and joy when you rest in her nine tails, the fluff from them soothing yourself away. She’s pissed for your employers though, why allow you to waste away for them?! Can’t they see that you’re crumbling slowly from all the work and chaos they’re giving you?! She’ll refuse to let you leave her tails until she’s sure you’ve rested well enough, but she’ll plead with you to promise her to never work that extremely again, she’s worried for you. :(

“Oh my,” she whispers to herself, grinning at the man sitting near the fire. Her nine sky blue tails shake excitedly. Strutting over, Kumiho puts on her best smile.

She’s been watching this lone werewolf for a while now, and had decided to approach him a few nights prior. He was quite the sight, anyway, making her very, very curious. His ears perk up slightly when she draws near, and his icy blue irises meet her out of the corner of his eye.

Kumiho leans down, ensuring her hair falls into his vicinity. He scoffs, brushing it away, and in turn, he glares at her.

“You finally decide to approach me?” He mumbles, and Kumiho’s smile grows at the low timbre of his voice. “Oh my, oh my,” she chirps, dropping next to the werewolf. He growls when she leans on him, but doesn’t push her away when she begins nuzzling his ashen grey hair.

“Say,” she drawls, crimson eyes flickering to his. “What should I call you, wolf?” The man looks down at her, brows furrowed. Then he shrugs. “Werewolf is fine.”

Kumiho smiles, closing her eyes contentedly as she rubs her nose against him. He stiffens, but remains where he is, and the nine tailed fox can't help but assume that he’s enjoying this to a degree. So of course, she changes tactics.

“Alright, werewolf, where are we headed now,” she says, turning herself so her arm rest on his shoulder. “We?” He hisses, eyes wandering to the hand currently running through his hair. “There is no we,” he says, grabbing her wrist.

Her administrations stop immediately, and her eyes widen a fraction. She didn’t expect him to react this way… they were doing so well. The grip on her wrist does not falter, and her wriggling does not free her.

“You’ve followed me everywhere… You didn’t expect me to notice that?” He scoffs. “I’m a werewolf for fucks sake.” When she whimpers, he snatches his hand back as if he burned her. The werewolf looks away. “You’re not travelling with me,” he mumbles, voice distant.

The sky blue fox watches him carefully, eyes watering when he stands up. Her crimson irises follow him as he stamps out the fire and shrugs on his travel bag.

“You’re leaving,” she asks, voice catching on the end. He pauses in his walk, turning slightly to look at her. He nods.

It is only then does she allow her tears to fall, and he visibly stiffens from where he stands. “Why are you-” “You’re leaving me all alone?” She sobs, rubbing her eyes. The icy blue eyed wolf looks around before approaching her again. He grabs her wrists, albeit softer this time, and pulls them down from her face. The werewolf flinches at the sight, but wills himself to speak.

“You… you can come… only if you promise not to be a pain in my ass.”

Kumiho stares at him for a moment, before all nine of her tails shake happily. “Thank you, thank you!” She exclaims, throwing her arms around his neck. He pats her back awkwardly, pushing her away after a moment.

When he stands, he helps her up, waiting patiently as she brushes off her red dress. “C’mon,” the werewolf beckons. “We need to get to the next stop before the sun rises.”

His companion nods, trodding up to meet him. He turns to walk, jumping slightly when she loops her arm with his, resting her head on his shoulder.

“You’re too kind, wolf,” she whispers, a smile gracing her tanned features. His only response is a light huff, but he can’t deny the small grin that decorates his solemn face.

So I was planning on drawing this kumidark swap thing that I first made up months ago, where basically Dark Choco is the kumiho and Kumiho is the warrior (@sweet sure I told you about this before, didn’t I?). Anyways, I was thinking about it again and feel like drawing it, just haven’t yet, not sure if I’ll get much done here

Anyways, so one thing I was just thinking about is the size difference, like how Dark Choco is big while Kumiho is small. Do I keep their original sizes or do I swap that too? Tutorial for Making Cookie Run OC Sprites!

This is just my method! Some people may have other techniques. To demonstrate, I’m showing how I made the sprite for my Kumiho x Cotton Candy fankid, Marshmallow Fluff!

I use Clip Studio Paint for these!

Step 1: Get your sprite(s)

For this edit, I used Lilac’s new sprite and Spinach. You can get a lot of the basic sprites off of the wiki, but it doesn’t have all of them. You can use only one sprite or as many as you like, this time I just used two :)

Step 2: Frankenstein

Using the eraser tool I got rid of Spinach’s upper body and Lilac’s chakrams, flipped Spinach’s lower body and resized it over Lilac’s legs. 

Step 3: Gather colors for main lineart and skin

You can generally just eyeball this based on what looks right, but in my fankid edits I like to take the outline and skin colors from the two parents.

Step 4 (Optional): Blend

I use the blend tool to blend the outline colors and the skin colors. The resulting colors are what I’ll use for the outline and skin for Marshmallow Fluff.

Step 5: Main lineart

For this edit, this includes the head, arms and legs. Depending on the edit, you may outline more or less of the cookie’s body, but generally at least a little bit of the head will be outlined in the color that corresponds with the skin.

Step 6: Basic dress outline

This just includes the main silhouette of the clothes. Some edits won’t include this step if the clothes outline is the same color as the main outline.

Step 7 (Optional): Main sleeves

Once again, if your cookie’s sleeves are the same color as the outline of the skin, you can skip this stage. Marshmallow Fluff has two different sleeve sections, so it’s split into two steps.

Step 8 (Optional): Lower sleeves

This step is mostly specific for Marshmallow Fluff. The second section of her sleeves are a different color than the rest, so they get their own step.

Step 9 (optional): Extra (lined) detail

For Marshmallow Fluff, this is the rest of the detail on the top of her hanbok. Some cookies don’t have this.

Step 10: Sketch the hair pt. 1

(I say part 1 because Marshmallow Fluff has two sections of hair. Most only have one.)

Step 11: Line the hair pt. 1

For Marshmallow Fluff, I used the inside of Cotton Candy’s hair for her hair’s lineart.

Step 12 (Optional): Sketch the hair pt. 2

If your cookie only has one section of hair, skip this step and step 13.

Step 13 (Optional): Line the hair pt. 2

Step 14: Choose a mouth color

Once again, you can eyeball it, but I used the same technique I used for Marshmallow Fluff’s outline and skin in this.

Step 15 (Optional): Blend

See step 4.

Step 16: Draw the face

Use the mouth color you got in step 14/15.

Step 17: Main colors

In a new layer under the lineart, color in the main colors like the skin and the base colors for the hair and clothing.

Step 18: Coloring details

For Marshmallow Fluff, this step included the transparent sleeves plus the stripe and dots on her skirt. Ignore that I forgot to color in her right eye in the previous step and had to color it in this step.
