Could I request Kirishima (Yakuza's guide to babysitting) introducing his baker girlfriend to Yaeka and everyone being shocked he even has a girlfriend in the first place?
Kirishima Toru + Secret Baker Girlfriend
Tumblr media
It had been a nice day outside, so Kirishima, Yaeka, and Sugihara went to the park. Yaeka’s friends had other plans. So she had to make due with the older men to play with for the afternoon.
“Hey, why don’t we get some bread for home?” Kirishima asked as they were heading back to the estate after they were all worn out from playing. Yaeka nodded maturely, while Sugihara yelped enthusiastically like a child.
They walk into the bakery and were greeted by a soft chime over the door & warm response from a woman behind the counter. “Hello! Welcome in! Oh, Kirishima-kun. I didn’t expect to see you today.”
“Kirishima-kun?” Sugihara asked suspiciously. To which Kirishima glared at him a little.
“You must be Sugihara. It’s nice to finally meet you!”
“How do you know about me?” His suspicions getting higher.
“Oh, I’m Kirishima’s girlfriend.”
“GIRLFRIEND?!” Sugihara exclaimed animatedly. His face completely shocked. “You have a girlfriend Kirishima?! How long have you had a girlfriend?!”
“I don’t know,” he replied with a shrug, “two years?”
“Two years?!”
Sugihara continued in his spiral of shock and questions, while [Y/N] walked around from behind the counter and knelt down in from of Yaeka. “You must be Yaeka. It’s nice to meet you.”
Yaeka took her hand when offered and shook it. “Nice to meet you.”
“Kirishima talks about you all the time when he comes by. He says you’re a very smart, kind, good natured young lady.” Yaeka’s face turned bright red at the compliment. “He also told me you like cats.” She perked up at the mention of cats.
[Y/N] went back around the counter and pulled out a cat shaped black & white cookie and gave it to Yaeka. “Here you go. They’re usually really popular, so I hope you like them. On the house.”
“We have money you know.” Kirishima butt in. Further ignoring Sugihara and his annoying interrogation.
“I never said you didn’t, and I assume you’re going to buy something else.” [Y/N] gave him a light tap in the shoulder; to which Sugihara went completely gobsmacked over. “The usual?”
Kirishima nodded and [Y/N] when about picking out his order. “Kirishima?” He looked down at Yaeka, who looked up at him with questioning eyes. “Why didn’t you ever mention you had a girlfriend?”
“I guess I didn’t think it was anyone’s business.” He said with a shrug.
He loved his yakuza family, but he was also a very private person. It was also hard to bring in outsiders to the family. It worked out for Sakuragi-san and his wife, but those instances were rare. Separate was best for now. Not that he was ashamed of their side of the conversation.
“Here you go! Two loaves of bread, one white and one rye, a dozen assorted muffins, and one brownie.”
“Wait, this is where the Friday muffins come from?” Sugihara asked. Finally calming down and putting the pieces together.
“Yeah. You didn’t think I was making them, did you?” Kirishima asked as he took the bag and handed it to him.
“Well…no….” Sugihara was so confused he didn’t know what to think. “They’re really good by the way.”
“Thanks!” [Y/N] replied with a smile and Sugihara blushed. Up until the point that Kirishima stepped on his foot.
“Tell Sakuragi-san that we’ll mango castella cake back in next week if he’s interested. I can set aside a batch from him if you text me.”
“Papa likes mango cake?” Yaeka asked. Eyes bright with a new realization about her father.
[Y/N] chuckled and told Yaeka, “only mine,” with a wink.
They say goodbye and the trio head back home. “I like your girlfriend Kirishima-san.”
“Yeah. I like her too.”
“I still can’t believe you got a girlfriend before me.” Sugihara muttered, before he howled out loud when Kirishima stepped on his foot again.

You randomly turn up in the finale to deliver this one line?
Tumblr media
Loved Kirishima’s little monologue at the end at his parents’ grave ;___;
So err, moral ambiguity asides, this was a cute little series about the trials and travails of babysitting a shy grade-schooler. Is there a ‘rehabilitate yakuza’s image through cute manga and anime’ agenda out there hahahahah
My AniList Rating: 7 My Average Episode Rating: 7.167 Best thing about the show: The kids were cute Worst thing about the show: We’re supposed to believe that yakuza do things for the greater good? lol My favourite character: Hmmm I like the yakuza boss tbh! Would I Rewatch?: I wouldn’t turn down a sequel....

Could I request Kirishima (Yakuza's Guide to Babysitting) with a reader who has god tier in skills gambling?
Kirishima x Reader - gambling expert
Tumblr media
Being in the yakuza, Kirishima and the family were involved in many illegal enterprises. It wasn’t all cute daycare scenes and happy moments with Yaeka. They were all criminals at the end of the day.
One of the more popular enterprises they had tapped into was gambling. People enjoyed the thrill of risking it all to win big. Usually just ending up with the former of risking it all, and ending up with nothing. They came, they drank, they played. Until eventually they were out of money and turned out towards the street for the night. If they were lucky.
Kirishima was here for the evening due to one customer, who had been to this establishment before and racked up a considerable debt to the family, refusing to leave. Though it was his night off, he had been called in to deal with him and make sure he never came back. Only his money, until the debt was paid, was welcome here.
“Sorry.” He apologized to [Y/N], who’s date had been interrupted by the emergency call. They knew of his past, and what he did for a living, so he didn’t think twice about bringing them. Now he was beginning to regret it. “I’ll wrap this up and we can go. Maybe we can catch the 9:30 for the movie.”
“It’s ok. This is pretty interesting.” They replied cheerfully as they sipped on their cocktail through its straw. Provided to them immediately upon entry as a guest of the Sakuragi family lieutenant. “You know that guy is cheating, right?”
Kirishima stopped talking to the other family members, berating them mostly for not being able to handle a simple degenerate on their own, and turned to [Y/N]. “Say what now?”
“That guy. Playing blackjack.” They gesture subtly toward the table, where a man seemed more focused on the cards than everyone else. Just not his own. “He makes the same couple twitches every few minutes. I assume it’s a signal program. And he’s signaling to…..bingo!” Their eye line scanned the room and found another man at a different table, equally focused but not on the dealer, who just won big. “It’s a pretty simple cheat. One sits behind one dealer, checks the pocket hand, then relays that to their partner. You should really teach your dealers to keep their hands more secure.”
Kirishima was shocked by their explanation, but quickly sent his subordinates to collect the men so they could ‘question them’ further. “Where did you learn about that?”
“My dad was a gambler. Did I not mention that?” They told him. “He was actually really good at it. Never worked a real job a day in his life, but certainly put in hours at the tables. He taught me about it but the gambling bug never bit me like it did him. Most I’ve ever won is a grand or two on a weekend.”
Judging by their blase attitude, they must not have found it that impressive. Which begged the question of how much their father had won in his time. Still, Kirishima scoffed and slid his hands in his pockets. “And here I thought the only gamble you took was me.”
They giggled and sat their empty drink down before linking arms and head out back to their date. Kirishima wasn’t sure what happened to the cheaters. And he didn’t ask. All he knew was that he never saw them again, which he didn’t tell [Y/N] either.
