every day i think about that yakuza’s guide to babysitting panel where rei is like “everyone loved us in high school we were like the lovable trio of misfits!” and kirishima went “no wtf everyone was scared of us” with their lil chibi high school headshots in the background and the captions underneath going [gay] [could kill you] [loves to fight]

Could I request Kirishima (Yakuza's Guide to Babysitting) with an s/o who's a perfumer? A woman as sweet and lovely as the scents she makes, her beauty is as revered throughout Japan as her skills in creating perfume.

Kirishima doesn’t really get perfumes. Why pay all that money to smell like you just rolled in a bag of fresh laundry, or douse people in your smell wherever you go?

He most likely met s/o through connections with the family, as they work with all sorts of high-end clients; both legitimate and not-so-legitimate.

They probably met when Kirishima had to pick up a gift from the boss to his wife, and they got to talking (mostly him being insensitive to her profession).

Once she explained that each perfume she made was actually a custom scent, tailor made to a person’s body chemistry and personality, he gets a little more interested.

Science was the only class he was decent in at school, so mixing things does pique his interest.

He develops an interest in what she designs, but still hates other perfumes. But now more from a snobbish perspective of commercial ones being so chemically and basic.

They get into some arguments about his smoking as cigarettes can damage the product and she doesn’t want it anywhere near the store or her workstations. He has to change and shower before he comes over which he begrudgingly does.

Though he thinks most of this is sort of a scent kabuki act, there is one perfume of hers that he does like wholeheartedly, and it’s a light, breezy, floral scent she designed as part of a spring flowers collection.

It reminds him of the flowers his mother used to keep in the house. So every time he smells it he thinks of her.

He doesn’t like her to wear it, since he doesn’t want to think of his mom and his s/o at the same time, but he likes it.

He prefers her to wear more ‘rich’ scents like sandalwood, amber, or maybe bergamot.

Kirishima does sniff his pillows & sheets after a night over. He won’t change the sheets for a couple days to keep the scent there.

Could I request Kirishima (Yakuza's Guide to Babysitting) getting a massage from his s/o that's so relaxing that he ends up falling asleep?

He hadn’t realized he had fallen asleep until he woke up. His head in their lap, the sun setting around them, his legs asleep as well.

Kirishima sat up and rubbed his eyes. Realizing that his glasses were missing too. “How long was I out for?”

“A bit,” [Y/N] told him. Handing him his glasses as if they could read his mind that he was looking for them.

Kirishima took them and put them back on. When they offered to rub his head, he didn’t think he’d fall asleep. He was a grown man. A yakuza even. Who falls asleep just from head pats? “Where’s Yakea? She’s not waiting for me, is she?”

“No. She went over to Sara’s to play. She should be back soon.”

Since it was just next door, and the family was close with the Sakuragis now, she didn’t need an escort. Still Kirishima felt that he had abandoned his duties for a nap. “You should have woken me up.”

“Maybe but….you seemed so tired. I thought it was best for you to rest.”

“And you’ve just been sitting here the whole time?”

They chuckled at him. “Well, I was a little stuck.” He suddenly remembers a time, long ago, when Yaeka was just a baby and fell asleep on him. Kirishima hadn’t dared to move as well, so he felt a little bad.

“Sorry you wasted your afternoon then. Because of me.”

[Y/N] chuckled again and scooted closer to him. “I wouldn’t call it a ‘waste’. Spending any time with you is never a waste. Plus, I like that you feel so comfortable with me that you’d just…fall asleep.”

He supposed that was true. Kirishima rarely slept before. Always keyed up from a fight, or waiting for a fight, or thinking about a fight. Now, watching over Yaeka and being with [Y/N], he felt more relaxed than he had been in his whole life.

“Well, next time I’ll give you the head rubs. Or a back rub.”

“Oh?” [Y/N] asked in amused surprise. “You’d be willing to give me a massage? Are you any good?”

“These hands aren’t just for beating up goons you know.” Kirishima said, flexing his digits. “They’re really strong.”

They laughed. “Well, I’ll have to take you up on that offer sometime. Want to go pick up Yaeka now? We can take her and Sara of ice cream maybe too.”

Kirishima nodded and stood up. His legs still a little numb but getting back their feeling. Despite that, the rest of his body felt better. Lighter, even. Maybe he did need to relax. Or maybe it was just [Y/N].
