Berdly peered over the counter at the library, staring at Kris. Despite being surrounded by so many books, it was starting to get a little boring standing behind the counter and doing homework. His breaks were mostly composed of checking out people’s books, and nothing more. Might as well go see what the town weirdo was doing; it could be interesting.
