Perhaps the only thing holding Kris Dreemurr back from becoming a "mentioned having a favorite food once and it became their whole fanon personality" character is that two Substances have been mentioned: moss and fruit juice. Perhaps the Fandom Favorite Food Phenomenon needs there to be only one food.

deltarune spoilers and theory

i’m sure the war between humans and monsters that resulted in them being sealed underground never happened because gerson tombstone doesn’t even have any of his war information written on it and neither does the books. kris could be chara who just changed their name in to order to hide from gaster. the one who created this would in the first place because this world is an alternative reality that was created to be the perfect world. a world where you can’t make chooses that you regret making and those noises coming from underground is gasters lab. there are no humans around town so they are clearly segregated but its better then being sealed underground but the problem is chara keeps finding ways to break into these worlds to destroy them because chara did say lets leave this pointless world move onto the next in undertale. I believe kris is chara because they knew to ask undyne about alphys because they remember the events of the other world. and toby fox has said that the undertale world and ending is the same as however we left them and remain untouched because delturunes world is a different one with different characters that have lived different lives. also i think the dark world might be the other side of the underground that we didn’t get to see.
