As well he should. Rainer spent forever collecting flowers that were just the right shade of purple, as to not contrast with the cornflowers. It takes him a moment to respond, vis a vie the creepy staring. “Thanks for the cake.”

“I take it you enjoyed it, then?” 

A smile pulled at his lips. He actually quite likes the flower crown. And he might wear it for a while.

Isn’t that cute. Rainer holds his hands out in a ‘peace’ gesture, for all the good that does him. “Jeez, sorry. Didn’t mean to scare you.” That doesn’t mean he didn’t think it was funny, obviously, as seen by the ever-growing smirk. “Just asking how your day was.”

     Kyle snarls briefly, but he isn’t all that bothered.  Not really.  It’s probably the most casual snarl to ever grace a face.  He continues on his route through the living-room, but diverges to nudge Rainer with his muddy steel-capped boot.      ‘Get the hell outta there, ya silly bastard.’

He's running. Where, he doesn't know. Why, he doesn't know, either. He doesn't know where he is, what time it is, who he is - he doesn't know anything. All he knows is that for the past... Long Time - anywhere from a week to half a year - he's been here, deep in the Black Forest. He's made friends with animals, lived off berries and water, and ran. He's ran so much, turning so many circles, falling over so many trees and rocks. And he doesn't know why. Until, one day, he's sprinting through as fast as his small and clumsy legs can take him, his ripped clothes flying, his icy eyes wide. He's heading towards a clearing, the animals rapidly fleeing it, and all he can hear - He can hear so much. His own breath rings in his ears, his rushed footsteps accompanying and - and far off, he can hear a voice. A raspy, angry voice, and the neighing of... Of the big animal, the one with the long legs that carries him sometimes. He doesn't know what it's called. He doesn't know what anything in here's called. There he is - The man. The man with flashes of silver hair, darting through the trees, his pale skin clashing against the black he wore, contrasting again with the chalk white horse he rode. Somehow, the boy found a burst of speed in him, and soon find himself knowing where the man was headed. Faster than he could have imagined, he runs ahead, wanting to anticipate him for some reason. And there, in the middle of the clearing, he stands, chest heaving, eyes wide and wild, waiting.
