Cracksh-lyn 💩
I genuinely feel sorry for #Ashlyn’s sorry self. Because she’s gunna wake up in a few days or weeks or maybe months and see how things unfolded and probably be very very unstable. Even more than she is probably now. Not good enough for the national team yet trying to act like she is. Always victimizing and also ooooof the naracissiticness. Gosh.
Fame hungry and the sorry ass and lame celebrity she thinks she is…leaking story to the press and self inflating her ego. Sheeeeeesh. 🤦‍♂️
I feel sorry that Ali wasted so much of her time with Ashlyn’s sorry antics. I’m sure there was/maybe still is love. But goodness gracious, Ali got rid of 💩 finally!
oh and PSA 📢 🔊📣📣📣:
Ashlyn & Sophia —— STAY TF AWAY from Christen and Tobin’s beautiful altar of a relationship 🙏🏽🥰😭🧿

I think theres still more to the story with krashlyn. Not gonna lie it’s so one sided and the hate train on ash is extreme - like I get not believing her statement for some people but I feel like if there was proof of an affair it should’ve leaked by now. I just think the scales are eventually gonna tip and it might not be pretty for krieger. I just don’t buy ash left her family cause Sophia bush looked at her and she now wants to be rich and famous, when she’s been committed for 13 years and planning her retirement in Florida. Some of the fanfic is now boarding conspiracy and insanity.
I agree with you. You know that saying that says it needs two to tango. Don't get me wrong, as I stated before, I am an Ali Krieger's fan, even though I am deeply disappointed at how Ali dealt with this, cause we still don't know her side of the story, cause she is really good dodging tricky questions, but she has her share on this too.
Like after the wedding, they pegged me as an unbalanced relationship, it was more like "what Ali wants, Ashlyn will give her". And Ashlyn's likes on IG when the news broke sorta confirms this feeling I had. There was one particular quote that from her that strike my attention that said if someone you love use their conquests to belittle you, then this person doesn't deserves you, especially when you helped them to have those victories or something along those lines. And if something like this was happening, can't imagine what was going behind closed doors with them to a point she decided to leave a 13 years relationship. And Ashlyn isn't stupid, she knew this hate train was going to get her and all the implications involving thos decision, and she still chose to divorce cause it was better than live the way they were.
But okay, Let's assume there was cheating (which i don't think so cause of what you said about proof and from who Sophia is), on Ashlyn's side, can you imagine how bad your relationship has to be that you cheated on the person you are dating for 13 years and later decide to leave to be with the other woman?
What I really think it happened based on what we know is that their relationship was bad on both ends, Ashlyn and Sophia talked about it in Cannes. Sophia was responsible for giving support to Ashlyn undeniably, cause all of Sophia's friends says she is someone that will stand up for you and fight for you no matter what, even though she doesn't do that for herself (Hilarie Burton's words), she gave Ashlyn that emotional support, while Ashlyn did the same for her while she was sick and made Sophia realize her relationship with Grant it wasn't what she thought she wanted. It was a mutual platonic relationship that ended becoming romantic down the road. Period. the end.
Ashlyn and Ali didn't worked as couple for a while. We can't pinpoint exactly what happened or when that happen, cause we dont know their home life, but looking back them through their social media, press and interviews, you can see that cracks starting to show up prior the Cannes event.
And to be honest, it's better this way, Ashlyn and Sophia are happy and Ali will find someone that will treat her as the queen she is. What is despicable is the hate fans are sending to Ashlyn and Sophia for just living their lives, based on half true or fanfics from L Chat, you know.

Can you imagine that you very publicly go through a divorce from your high profile marriage and every coworker you’ve ever had and your friends are all like “yes girl drag her!” On your exes posts? Lmao that’s literally what we are seeing in the Krashlyn split. I would be so embarrassed personally.
lol no I cannot

My Knotheads (Alpha!Krashlyn x Omega!Reader)
Tumblr media
Request 1: alpha Ashlyn and Ali and omega reader where they get into a fight ans they tell the reader to go away and reader ends up going in to heat. And they don’t find out to Christen who is readers big sisters comes and tells them and then they go and apologize to her.
Request 2: alpha!krashlyn x reader and they'd be when the reader starts her heat
Author’s Note: These two really seemed to compliment each other, so I combined them. I really hope you enjoy!
Sometimes being an omega really fucking sucked. You hated how extreme situations affected you. How you longed for your mates, even when they were being unreasonable, bull-headed knotheads. How your body had betrayed you and initiated a fucking heat right after one of the biggest fights the three of you had ever had.
It wasn’t fair that you were the one who had to bear the consequences of said fight. A little part of you wondered if they could feel your pain through your bond.
You shivered, pulling the comforter of your sister’s bed impossible tighter around you, suppressing a whimper at the cramps rolling through you. Thinking about them was a bad idea. It only made the pain worse. You rolled just enough to bury your face into your sister’s pillow. Her scent helped, but it wasn’t enough to completely take away your pain.
“Babe, you gotta come out from under the blankets, your burning up,” Christen said softly, bringing her hand up to brush some sweaty strands from your forehead. You leaned into her as much as you could without unwrapping yourself from your warm Cocoon.
Another shiver ran down your spine. “Cold,” You mumbled, your teeth chattering just a bit.
Christen sighed, rubbing her thumb over your too pink cheek and letting out some of her soothing scent.
Her inner omega longed to help you, but she didn’t know how. Your omega bond was as strong as they came, and your older sister had always been your protector. After she got you to settle and tell her what actually happened, she was going to kick some alpha ass.
“Scoot,” she said softly, waiting for you to move further towards her side of the bed before carefully peeling back the blankets and laying down. Once she was settled, you crawled back towards her, burying your nose in the skin of her belly where her shirt had ridden up. She carded her fingers through your hair, scratching your scalp in a way that always relaxed you.
It was a familiar position for the two of you, one you had spent many nights in growing up. Skin-on-skin contact always helped you, and now was no different.
Silence stretched between you, only punctuated by your uneasy breathing and whimpers when the ache got too bad.
“Will you let Toby lay with you? It might help with the cramping,” Christen asked after a particularly painful bout of cramps.
“No,” You said, shaking your head rapidly. Sure another alpha’s scent (particularly one you trusted) could help regulate the insane hormones raging through you, but after the blowout with your mates, you didn’t think it was a good idea.
Christen’s fingers paused as the anxious pheromones poured off of you. “Baby bear-...”
you shook your head again, completely cutting your sister off. “No. Don’t wanna upset them more,”
It came out more like a whimper than anything else.
You could still hear Ali and Ashlyn’s growls in your head. The fight had been stupid, and all three of you had been too stubborn on your stances. Well, that wasn’t true. Their initial reaction had brought out your defiance and after that, you refused to back down. They were your mates, not your parents, and they couldn’t just forbid you from doing something.
You weren’t sure when the discussion turned into a screaming match, but you could still clearly hear Ashlyn saying that maybe it would just be better for everyone if you showed yourself out.
You did and you came straight to your sister's house. The effects hadn’t been immediate, but you were certainly feeling them now and you didn’t want to do anything to drive your mates further away.
“You know they trust Toby,” Christen hummed, the hand in your hair pausing. Your eyes met her very worried ones, and you wondered for a second how bad you had to look to elicit that response. She had seen you in some pretty bad states, and you could count on one hand the number of times she had given you that look.
“We just want to help you,” A voice from the door added softly. You tore your gaze away from your sister to look at her mate.
Tobin was leaned up against the doorframe, arms crossed and shoulders tense. It was difficult to see you this strung out (both on your heat and because of the conflict with your own mates). Her inner alpha had claimed you as a little sister, and she would do anything to help you out.
You watched her warily, your inner omega sighing when her scent drifted your way. It promised to ease some of your symptoms (not the aching emptiness, but the cold sweats and prickling sensation across your skin).
She waited for you to nod before stepping into the room. Approaching a nest without invitation was rude, and she wasn’t about to cross that line with you.
She slowly made her way to the bed, pausing at the edge opposite Christen. She again waited for your mood of approval before she very carefully climbed into the bed on your free side. You settled back into Christen’s tummy, and Tobin didn’t get too close to you. She stayed on top of the covers and opted to slip a single hand under your shirt to gently rub your back.
You relaxed into the touch, the alpha’s presence finally easing your frayed instincts. You sighed heavily into Christen’s stomach, your heavy eyes closing. They weren’t your alphas, but your omega would accept their comfort for now.
What you didn’t know was that your older sister was planning the deaths of two knotheads while you slept.
*****
Ashlyn couldn’t stop her pacing. Her alpha was frantic at the feelings coming through your bond.
Ali wasn’t fairing much better, but instead of pacing, she was perched on the edge of the couch, her head in her hands.
They had fucked up, and fucked up big. They hadn’t meant for things to go that far, and they hadn’t expected you to walk out. Now they could literally feel your pain and were unable to act on their instincts.
Ashlyn paused, running a frustrated hand down her face and sitting down next to her mate: “What do we do?”
The three of you had had many disagreements, but you had never gone completely radio silent on them before.
Ali sighed heavily, shaking her head.“I’m not sure. We don’t even know where she went,”
Ashlyn nodded, having been through this conversation at least a hundred times since the fight. Since she told you to leave.
Ali placed a gentle hand on her knee, rubbing her thumb soothingly on her skin. All they needed were their anxious feelings floating down your bond and making whatever you were going through worse.
“I think I can help with that,” both alphas whipped around at the voice behind them, sucking in a deep breath when they saw it was your older sister (who definitely coated in the scent you only gave off When you were in heat). They couldn’t help the low growls that left them. They should be the only ones who got to be covered in your scent.
Christen rolled her eyes at their reaction and held up a small key in response to the question they hadn’t asked. She raised her eyebrow at the women’s gaping faces. “For emergencies, remember?”
The alphas gulped, reigning in their pheromones. Christen wasn’t the enemy. The two of you were incredibly close (and she was insanely protective over you) and if she was here, that meant you went to her and she wanted to help them get you back.
“Right,” Ali breathed out, gesturing to the couch opposite of them.
Christen took her time settling into the seat, eyeing the alphas carefully. The three of you were so stubborn, and provoking an already on edge alpha (especially one who was separated from their mate while they were going through a heat as big as the one you were experiencing) was dangerous.
She crossed her legs, and leaned her elbow on her knee, her index finger tapping her chin as she studied them. “I’m surprised you two are still here sulking,”
The alphas shared a wide eyed look.
“We didn’t actually think she would go,” Ashlyn said sheepishly, scratching the back of her neck. Ali squeezed her thigh. If she could feel the guilt through their bond, she was sure you could too.
Christen’s raised an eyebrow at her. You weren’t easily deterred, and it would take more than a passing comment to make you leave. No, you left because your omega felt rejected by her alphas, like they didn’t trust you. Like they no longer wanted you.
“I believe you told her to get out, you know after she brought up that Arsenal wants to sign her for the season,” She growled lowly, and if Ali and Ashlyn didn’t know any better, they would have thought it came from an alpha.
“She wanted to leave us anyway,” Ali scoffed defensively. Yes they overreacted, but you had been so insistent on how amazing of an opportunity it was.
“No, you dumbasses. She wanted your opinion and to talk it through, but you two freaked out and forbade her like she was a pup,” Christen said, shaking her head.
Your alphas shared another wide eyed look, and Christen rolled her eyes. Of course they had freaked out before you could explain.
“But she said-“ Ali trailed off, eyes squinting trying to remember exactly how the fight had started. How you had tried to explain what your manager told you, but they wouldn’t let you finish after they heard how far away they wanted you to go.
“That it was a great opportunity? That’s because it is,” Christen said with a nod. You were one of the greatest forwards on the team, and joining Arsenal would only help you grow (plus a European Cup had been on your bucket list since you could walk).
“It’s in London Chris,” Ashlyn whined.
“Yeah, and it only would have been for a year until Orlando could acquire her,” Christen countered.
Both of your alphas paused. You had been trying to get Portland to trade you to the Orlando squad for far too long. Mark was being a royal pain in the ass about the whole thing, but they hadn’t even waited for you to get to the good part.
“Oh,”
“Yeah, oh. Now fucking fix this,” Christen huffed, standing and rushing out the door.
The door didn’t even slam before the two alphas were chasing after her. They weren’t going to let you slip away from them.
*****
You had never been in this much pain before. It felt like you were burning from the inside out, and a little part of you wondered if this was what Stephanie Meyer thought transitioning to a vampire was like.
Christen had left about an hour ago, and Tobin followed soon after that (yes you trusted her, but it was different helping you through your heat when her mate wasn’t present). The flames coursing through you only got progressively stronger as the episode of criminal minds Tobin left on drew to a close. Even the scent left on her pillow couldn’t help you now.
Your inner omega was appeased by Tobin’s presence, but it wouldn’t be satisfied until you had your alphas. You had a feeling your heat would only get worse until you were finally forced to give in and let Chris call them for you.
Being an omega fucking sucked.
You pulled the blankets tighter around you when the door creaked open, guarding yourself against a nonexistent draft that sent another shiver down your spine.
Footsteps slowly approached the bed and along with it came the comforting scent of warm breezes off the ocean and cinnamon sugar. It washed over you like a warm blanket, finally offering you the comfort you so desperately craved.
You pulled the blanket down just far enough to make eye contact with your mates. They shifted awkwardly foot to foot, guilty looks plastered across their faces.
You groaned, rolling back over and burying your face in Christen’s pillow. It took everything in your power to say “go away, I’m mad at you” out loud.
You knew it was childish, and your inner omega scolded you, but no matter what your instincts told you- how they acted wasn’t ok and you weren’t about to just let them off the hook.
The bed behind you dipped, and a warm hand was placed on the blanket covering your hip.
“We know,” Ali said softly. You felt another hand on your shoulder.
“We’re so sorry that we flipped out and didn’t let you explain yourself,” Ashlyn added.
You let out a long sigh,wide-eyed, and finally pulled the blanket away from your face. Your alphas let you roll over to face them (resting their hands on top of the blanket again once you had gotten settled),
You squinted at their guilty faces. “You were knotheads,”
Both alphas nodded, biting their lips to prevent a smile at your cuteness. “Yes, we were,”
“And overbearing assholes,” You added, again getting a nod.
“That too,” Ali said softly, very slowly bringing a hand up to brush a sweaty strand of hair from your eyes. You leaned into her palm, nearly purring when she brushed her thumb along your jawline. Her touch cooled some of the flames rolling through you.
“We didn’t have the right to talk to you the way we did. We know that being alphas doesn’t give us the right to tell you what to do and that we should have listened to you. We’re sorry and hope that you can forgive us,” Ashlyn said from your other side, running a gentle hand along the exposed skin of your shoulder, avoiding your mating mark (just like Ali avoided your scent gland).
They wanted to offer you the comfort you so clearly craved, but they didn’t want to have an unfair advantage during this conversation. They would never try to use your instincts against you.
“Never again,” You said seriously.
“We swear,” The alphas said, equally as serious. They knew it would take a lot of work and many more conversations when you could think more clearly.
You watched them for another few minutes, shivering when another wave of cramps rolled through you.
“Make it stop, hurts,” You mumbled softly, living up the corner of the blanket to invite your alphas into your nest.
They very carefully slid under the covers, both kissing your cheeks. “Don’t worry baby, we’ll take care of you,”
And you trusted they would. They were stubborn knotheads sometimes, but they were your mates, and you would all put in the work to prevent something like this from happening again. They would always be there for you, whether you were pissed at them or not.

Adopted kid part 3- Krashlyn
Tumblr media
"Ready to watch mama and I practice today?" Ashlyn asked looking down at you everyone was walking into the stadium
"Yes!" You said excitedly
Ashlyn and Ali walked you onto the field as you looked around, taking it all in.
"Pretty cool, right?" Megan asked appearing next to you causing you to nod
"We can play after we practice. How does that sound?" Ashlyn asked looking down at you you excitedly answered "good"
"Okay, your just going to have to sit here while we practice. We brought you coloring book and iPad for if you want to watch a movie. Can you do that for us?" Ali asked, already knowing you could from the few practice they brought you to for pride
"Yes" you said sitting down on the blanket they laid out for you as everyone got ready and head out to practice
You colored and watched a movie before deciding to watch the practice in front of you. You eyes followed the ball as you watched amazed. You moved from your blanket to the sideline to get a better look of your moms
Then a ball started rolling towards. You ran over to the ball and grabbed it with your hands to stop it from going further away
"That's right kid, stop the ball with your hand" Ash said walking up to you with a proud smile as you looked at her confused with the ball in your hand
"Want to be a goalie like mom?" Ash asked kneelling next to you but Ali quickly step in "no, she is going to be a defender like her mama" causing you to freeze and look between the two, not wanting to make either one upset
"You can be whatever you want to be" Ali said realizing you froze and instantly you calmed down before looking for one person you wanted play like
Once you found her you looked at you moms who nodded as they saw who you were looking at.
You handed Ashlyn the ball before you took off to go running to her as you moms followed behind you with smiles
"Sammy, you play?" You asked looking at her with curiosity as she met you mama eyes who mouthed position to her
"I'm a midfielder" Sam said smiling down at you
"I midfielder" you said proudly
"Is that so?" Sam asked kneeling down to you as you shook your head yes with a huge smile "like you" causing Sam to match your smile
"Don't you want to be a forward like aunt Alex?" Alex asked looking at you hopefully
"Or like aunt Megan?" Megan added on as you laughed and shook your head no causing everyone else to laugh at Megan and Alex reaction fake hurt expressions
"Play?" You asked looking at Sam
"Of course. Let's go see if Rose, Mal, and Emily want to join us" Sam said causing you to nodded as you grabbed her hand, walking towards the group of youngins further down the field
"Sam is officially her favorite aunt" Megan grumbled causing Ash to wrap an arm around her with a smile "she still loves you"
"I know" Megan grumbled "I love her too"
"I've got work to when we get back to Florida" Alex said causing everyone to laugh
The veterans watched as the younger players kicked the ball around with you, letting you nutmeg and get the ball pass them.

A Misread (Krashlyn x Press!Reader)
Tumblr media
“Where’s Y/n?” Ashlyn asked Ali as she walked downstairs. Her head was sort of pounding from the wild night that you’d had before. There had been a party and a bunch of your USWNT teammates had come over, so things had gotten very crazy.
“She went out to get a coffee with Christen,” Ali said and Ashlyn frowned. “What?”
“She spent all her time at the party with Christen from what I remember. Did she even come back to bed with us?” Ashlyn asked and Ali shrugged. “You don’t think she’s cheating on us do you?”
“Absolutely not, she’s just friends with Christen. They were close in Chicago and they went to Utah together. Y/n would never cheat on us anyways,” Ali said and Ash nodded. She tried to rationalize her brain and tell herself that you weren’t cheating on her and Ali with Christen. However, when you walked into the house with Christen behind you, all of that went out the door.
“Hey babe,” you said, kissing Ashlyn’s cheek. Ash moved away from you slightly and you frowned. “Is something up?”
“You’ve been gone pretty much all day,” Ali said and you checked your watch.
“Shit, yeah. Sorry, we lost track of time,” you said and Ali sighed heavily. “Is something wrong?”
“You’ve been spending a lot of time with Christen lately,” Ali said calmly.
“I get how amazing Press is, but why cheat?” Ash asked, less calmly.
“Cheat?” you repeated to yourself. “With Christen?”
“Gross!” Christen exclaimed and then Ash turned to her. Ali crossed her arms and huffed.
“Y/n is not gross,” Ali said and Christen put her arms up in the air. “She’s beautiful and amazing and you don’t deserve a second of her time if you think otherwise.”
“Christen is my sister guys,” you said and Ash paused. It took a second longer to get through Ali’s defensive rage brain, but eventually it did and she just looked between the two of you. “I haven’t gotten to see her a whole lot since my trade. Sorry, we really did lose track of time.”
“Sorry about the questioning,” Ash said.
“It’s okay, I’m glad to know that you care about my sister so much. I know she’s in good hands with you,” Christen said and you hugged her before she left.
“What was that about?” you asked once Christen was gone.
“What was what about?” Ali asked as she dragged you upstairs. You became momentarily distracted, but you’d get back to your questioning later.

Math? I Thought You Said Meth? (Krashlyn x Reader)
AN: I got a request of Krashlyn x Reader and this is my pretty lame attempt to get something out in these very dire, boring times. I hope you dig it! It has a bit of swearing and maybe a bit of like childhood trauma? family issues?
I walk down to the hotel lobby, feet dragging, shirt on inside out, skin pallid and dark circles very prominent. I’m still in my sleep shirt, no makeup, and my glasses, which almost never happens. My hair is an absolute mess, and Ashlyn ruffles it as I join her and Ali.
“Kid, you look like trash, no offense, very cute trash, but still,”
I groan and pull her towards the desk.
“Yeah, yeah, I know, I was up late,”
If by ‘up late’ I meant I haven’t slept in over 42 hours because I’ve been studying in every extra second I have, then yeah, I was up late. I turn to the receptionist, smiling lightly.
“So, I really really need to find the closest coffee shop. It can be a hole in the wall, it can have bad coffee, I just need something,”
The woman smiles at me and pulls out her phone.
“Okay, well, good news, there’s a Starbucks a little bit down the road to the right, walking distance,”
We thank her and grab Ali and Sonnett, who’s just made it downstairs.
“Dude, who’d you get in a fight with, I haven’t seen eye bags that dark since your bar fiasco with that one guy’s girlfriend!”
I chuckle.
“How was I supposed to know they came together?”
We make quick work of getting to the shop, talking and laughing along the way. We all walk in and I make a beeline for the counter, the rest of our small group taking a seat, having given me their orders. I order everyone else’s before taking a deep breath.
“Okay, I need to know, like legally, how much espresso you can put in a cup. Like, can you do a tiny bit of coffee, and the rest espresso?”
After discussing concerns and worries, which includes me telling the dude that I’ll pay whatever the price is, I’ve secured my 2 tablespoons coffee to the rest of the largest size cup espresso concoction. I walk back to the table, distributing the drinks to their respective owners.
“So, y/n, what’d you get, something you’d recommend?”
I cackle and shoot Ali finger guns.
“Absolutely not. This is a cup full of espresso shots with like a minuscule amount of coffee… it’s bitter and embodies my parents… would not recommend,”
She gasps and turns to Ash, gesturing towards me and groaning.
“No, no, no, remember last camp? We discussed, she’s your kid before 12, and it’s 11:49 so thats on you, babe. Also, y/n, really kid? Kind of impressed, kind of in awe, kind of worried,”
I just shrug, take the lid of my cup, and test the temperature. Seeing that it’s cool, or at least a little bit, I start to chug it, finishing half the cup before I start to listen to the other’s conversation.
“So, y/n, how’s the math you were talking about yesterday going?”
I spit out my mouthful of drink on the table, lightly coughing.
“What?? I don’t do meth, man, look I know I’m kinda out of it today. I’ve been up for the past 2 days studying for my calculus exam I have next week, not doing drugs,”
Everyone looks at me as I burst into tears.
“Hey, hey, we were talking about math, not meth, we know you don’t do drugs, also we will be talking about the all nighter, but, I think we should finish our drinks, get ready for the beach day we have planned, and you can sleep there, just relax, sound good?”
I let out a sniffle and wrap my arms around my waist.
“Yeah, maybe I do need some sleep, sorry,”
I drag my hand over my face and pick up my cup, taking a sip. Ali wraps her arm around my shoulder and I lean my head on her shoulder, leaning my weight onto her and closing my eyes. I must doze off because I wake up to Ashlyn picking me up. I shake my head and rub my eyes.
“Ah, fuck, went and woke the kid up,”
I curl up further and lean my head into her body, quickly falling back asleep. I get woken up by Ali and Ash aggressively shushing the team, who are all gathered in my room.
“I told y’all to shhhhhh, and now she’s awake! Man, this is why we have to run so much, y’all don’t listen,”
I tap Ash’s shoulder, giving her a hug as she sets me down.
“Well, looks like beach time is still on, so I’m going to change into beach wear, and then get another coffee, and then we can leave,”
They all nod and I get into my suitcase, grabbing my swim trunks and bikini top. I quickly change, grabbing my hair cream and going to find Ash.
“Moooom, I need help with the hair, and since Pinoe is going to pick up the caffeine, I need you,”
She quickly grabs some cream and creates a look that Pinoe, crowd favorite for her hair, will be proud of. I check it in the mirror quickly before turning to her and hugging her.
“Thank you, thank you, thank you,”
She chuckles and wraps an arm around me.
“Yeah, yeah, can’t have any kid of mine walking around with wack hair,”
I squeal and turn to Ali, giving her a huge hug as well.
“Wait, I love y’all, like a lot, thank you for helping me adjust and for dealing with me, okay, that’s all, thanks for coming to my TedTalk,”
Pinoe chooses that moment to walk in with the coffee. I prance up to her, kiss her cheek, and walk off to find Rose, Mal, and the rest of the youngins.
“Thanks boss! I expect a volleyball match partner later, yeah?”
She nods and I sprint towards Sonny, making sure to not spill my coffee.
“Y/N, no running babe! Knowing you, you’ll fall and scald yourself or something,”
I wave my hand at Ali and smirk. I catch up to Sonny and lean up against her.
“Man oh man, I’m going to snooze at the beach, mark my words,”
She looks at me and smiles.
“Well, at least you’ll actually get sleep.. Look, I know school is a lot, by itself, I can’t even imagine what it’s like while your playing on this team, but you have to take care of yourself man, cause I know Ash and Kriegs are this close to making you room with Carlos,”
My eyes widen as she puts her fingers almost together. I nod and bow.
“Yeah, I just really want to do well, you know? I mean, birth parents didn’t end up going to secondary schooling, the fosters were more focused on taking care of us in the care minimum than encouraging us kids, and I just want to be better,”
I start to tear up and Lindsey and Em both pull me into a hug.
“Okay, I know it doesn’t feel like it, but kid, you’re insane! I mean, I didn’t go to college, so you’re already passing me up. And, you’re trying for premed things, on top of playing for the national team? Anyone would love to be doing as well as you’re doing, and even if you’re parents aren’t proud, or aren’t around, we are, and we’re so fucking proud, and I’m defintely getting yelled at later for saying fuck in front of you,”
I laugh and give her a quick squeeze, wiping at my eyes and chuckling. I separate myself from them, and cup my hands around my mouth.
“I’m definitely getting smoked for this, but I fucking love you all! You all treat me like a kid, and while that sometimes gets old, I’m so thankful that I have people in my life that care enough! Also, Mom and Mom, please don’t room me with Carlos! Carl, I love you, but you’re scary and I think you might kill me at any given moment, love you though,”
Everyone looks at me and I flash some dimples in hopes of not getting in trouble for swearing.
“Okay, we’re going to let the fuck slide, but don’t get ideas, kid. Also, it’s very nice to know that Carlos is a valid threat, also, we love you too, just, stop chugging weird amounts of caffeine, please. And to conclude, you forgot to tie your swim trunks, I see that tattoo, who signed off? You’re 17, you need a signed consent form, kid…”
I grimace and run to the van, hoping they’ll cool off by the time we need to leave.
We’re all at the beach, Megan, Ali, and I all tanning while Kelly, Emily, Rose and Mal all play soccer tennis, Ash and Alex out surfing.
“You really thought they said meth, Y/N? Really? You’re like the best kid ever, why would you ever do meth?”
I grin and laugh and turn my face towards the sun, deciding to just enjoy my off day and to look forward to the future, together, with my team.

Racing Heart - Alex Morgan Imagine
Tumblr media
A/N: For the purpose of this imagine, Alex has been de-aged to 21 years old. Everything else is the same.
Alex’s POV:
“This news coming days after Valtteri Bottas announced his return to Williams. It did not take Mercedes long at all to fill his position as they make history by announcing the rookie signing of 19-year old (Y/N) Harris. This marks the first time a female driver has been allowed onto the main roster of drivers.” Pinoe read out as Ashlyn had a scowl on her face. Ali just looked incredibly disappointed.
“This doesn’t make sense. Why couldn’t she have just told us about it?” Ash said crossing her arms.
“Maybe because she knew you wouldn’t approve?” Kelley said raising an eyebrow at the couple.
I glanced down at my phone when it buzzed indicating I got a text. It was a text from the girl in question asking me to meet her downstairs. She was here to surprise her parents, but she wanted alone time with me before she was to see them.
“I will be back in a little bit.” I said as everyone nodded. Ash continued ranting about (Y/N) becoming an official driver as Ali just had a somewhat sad and thoughtful look.
I exited the room as I made my way down to the lobby of the hotel. I smiled when I spotted my girlfriend looking down at her phone. I did my best to make my way to her before she could look up. I wrapped my arms around her as she jumped. She gave me a smile wrapping her arms around my waist.
“Hi.” I mumbled into her shoulder. She tightened her grip a little as she pulled away pulling me in for a kiss. I smiled letting myself be pulled into her. Everything about her was like an adventure.
“I missed you.” She said leaning her forehead against mine.
“I missed you too so much.” I said as I pulled away and pulled her towards the elevator. I was roomed with Pinoe who no doubt was going to stay with Ali and Ash right now. So, I felt pretty safe.
Once we snuck to my room, she picked me up and carried me to the bed. I laughed when we fell into it together. We laid there facing each other with soft smiles on our faces. There was really no one that I would rather be with than her.
“I should say congratulations on your new team.” I said as she rolled on her back a little with a slight chuckle.
“Yeah it’s insane.” She said with a dazed expression. I moved so I could lay on her chest. She brushed some hair out of my face as her hand caressed my face. “I know I made the right decision though.”
“Do you think that maybe you should have talked to your family first?”
“Probably. I meant to talk to them beforehand. I wasn’t expecting them to announce it so soon.” She said with a look of guilt. “Are they mad?”
“Definitely. At least Ash is mad about it. I think Ali is just upset that you didn’t tell them.” I said as she nodded her head.
“Yeah…it’s going to be such a great conversation.” She said sarcastically earning a small smile from me. “I don’t want to talk about that right now. I missed you and all I want is to be here with you.”
“I think something can be arranged.” I joked leaning up to kiss her. She smiled rolling us over, so she was on top of me. I wrapped my legs around her waist as she started placing kisses on my jaw and neck.
It wasn’t long before clothes started being shed and the feeling of her skin on mine. Every moment with her was like a bomb going off in my heart and the intimate moments that I got to spend with her were times I wish I could live in forever. The way she explores my body has always been one of the things I have loved the most about her. Every time she touches me it always feels like the first time. Like, she is exploring like she never has before. The way her touch sets my body on fire and the way the pleasure washes over us in waves. It is a feeling I will never get tired of.
I never thought that I could feel this strongly and passionately about one person until I met her. She came out of nowhere, but I was so sure she was the one I was meant to be with. Our relationship has always been one filled with passion and love. There has always been some sort of invisible pull between us. The not so great thing about our relationship is the secrecy and the hiding we do from those around us. She has been so nervous to tell her parents we are together, just because she thinks they are going to feel some type of way about us being together. I can’t say I disagree.
“What are you thinking about?” she asked me running her fingers up and down my spine. The activities from earlier long over as we lay in bed together enjoying the come down of the high we find with each other.
“You.” I said simply as she smiled.
“Good things I hope.” She said as I nodded my head.
“Always good things.” I said kissing her cheek. She smiled leaning back in to give me another kiss. She seemed ready to continue, but I knew the time we had left was limited.
“As much fun as this could be, you need to go see your parents. It’s amazing that they haven’t blown your phone up after the news they got today.
“You’re no fun.” She pouted as I rolled my eyes. I leaned in to give her a kiss before she stood up. I took a moment to check out her body before she pulled her clothes on. She turned back towards me bending down to give me another kiss. “I’ll see you later?”
“Of course.” I said as she smiled and exited the room.
(Y/N) POV Switch
I walked out of Alex’s room heading towards the room my parents were in. I felt very reluctant to part with my girlfriend just because of how much I missed her, but I was also super excited to see my parents. Despite the fact that they are definitely going to yell at me. I should have talked to them as soon as my signing onto Mercedes was done. It’s just my ma has made it known to me that she wasn’t a fan of my racing. Even though, it is the thing I am most passionate about. Racing to me is what football is to her.
It’s one of a few secrets that I am keeping from my parents. The other big one being my relationship with Alex. I know that Alex hates being a secret and I wish things could be different, but I know how my parents are and I don’t see them being okay with us. She is too close to them for them to not care. I love her though. I want to be with her all the time. In the good times and the bad times. At this point, I can’t see myself with anyone else.
“Here we go…” I mumbled to myself as I knocked on the door. I waited a moment before the door was thrown open.
“Oh boy.” Pinoe mumbled as she saw me. I shot her a nervous smile as she pulled me in for a hug. “Congrats. I hope they don’t kill you.”
“Me too.” I said as I stepped into the room.
“I just think it’s irresponsible and so shady that she didn’t just tell us the truth. Like…we are her parents-”
“Ash!” my mom interrupted my ma’s rant as they both focused on me.
“Tell me how you really feel.” I joked as my mom immediately crossed the room. She pulled me in for a hug as I buried my face into her shoulder. It felt good to be back in the arms of my mom. No one gave me comfort like her.
“My baby” she said as I smiled slightly. “We have a lot to talk about.”
“I know” I said as I turned towards my ma. She had a hesitant look on her face as she then walked towards me pulling me in for a hug.
“I am so angry at you.” She said as I nodded my head.
“I had a feeling you would be.”
“Everyone out. We need to talk.” My ma said as everyone left and the three of us were alone.
“What were you thinking? Why didn’t you tell us?”
“Okay let’s not throw a thousand questions.” My mom said as I took a breath and sat on the bed.
“I’ve always loved racing. You know that. I’ve never hid that.” I said as they both nodded. They knew I had a strong passion for it. “I’m good at it. I have some of the fastest times. If you give me a real car that I can race in, I can compete with some of the top drivers.”
“Why didn’t you tell us that you were looking into it?” ma asked with a irritated look on her face.
“Because I knew you would be unhappy about it. You have never hid your feelings about me racing, but it’s what I want to do.” I said crossing my arms.
“It’s too dangerous.” My mom said as I sighed. “You could die. It’s not like other sports where if you mess up then its okay. If you mess up during a race, the consequence could be death.”
“That’s an exaggeration. If you do it safely, then you’re fine.”
“No. It doesn’t matter how safe you are being, accidents happen and you could still end up dead.”
“There’s no guarantee though. I am with a great team who takes care of their drivers.” I defended as they both shout me doubtful looks.
“(Y/N)…it’s a no.” my ma said as I shook my head out of frustration.
“I already signed the contract. I am locked in for at least the next season which starts very soon might I add.”
“How long have you known?”
“A little while. Maybe 2 months. I’m sorry I didn’t tell you but this right here is why. You’re proving my point. I have a chance to make a difference in the sport. Not just the team but the entire sport. If I can win the championship, I’ll make history.” I said as they both shot me soft looks. Though, they both looked furious still.
“I understand wanting to make history. It’s tempting. It’s not worth your life though and I can’t believe you knew for that long and never said anything.”
“Its not what you want, but I am not backing out. I’m locked into this contract and I am going to see it through. You won’t be able to change my mind. I really hope you change your mind though because I would love for you to come to my first race. Any races actually.”
“I am going to support whatever you do because you’re our kid. My baby. I just…I wish you had told us. I wish this was a decision that you had made while consulting us.”
“I’m not a kid anymore. I can make my own decisions.”
“You’re still our baby though.” My mom said as I smiled a little.
“I know.”
They pulled me in for a hug as I let myself fall into them. I wanted them to support me because it’s what I needed. I knew not everyone was going to be happy about Mercedes signing me. There was always going to be those critics, but I was sure that this is what I wanted.
After talking it out for a few more minutes, we eventually came to an agreement that I would be allowed to do my racing (which I was going to do anyway) and they would support me to the best of their ability. We then exited the room to go hang out with their teammates. It gave me the perfect opportunity to spend time with my parents as well as my girlfriend.
The rest of my visit with the team went just like that. I was with various members of the team and my parents. Every so often, I would sneak off to have some alone moments with Alex. She wasn’t saying it, but I knew the secrecy was starting to really bother her. I wanted to tell my parents but after the bombshell I dropped on them I thought better than to tell them that I was also dating one of their teammates.
After the trip though, time seemed to fly by as I started getting prepared for the upcoming season. The first race was going to be the Australia Grand Prix and my debut for Mercedes. A good portion of the national team was going to be there to support me so that was going to be very exciting. I was starting to get insanely nervous because I know how much is at risk if I don’t do well. Not only my own reputation, but Mercedes reputation as well.
“Are you nervous?” Alex asked me as we laid in my bed together. It was the night before qualifiers, and I was trying to keep my cool. Alex had managed to sneak away from her teammates so we could spend a little bit of time together. She always knew how to keep me calm and it’s exactly what I needed right now.
“A little. I had a pretty good practice session, but I need to be at the top of my game tomorrow if I hope to be in pole position. I have a lot of competition.”
“You got this. I believe in you.” She said as I smiled giving her a soft kiss.
“A lot of people are relying on me and I don’t want to let them down.” I said as she nodded her head.
“I’ve been there. It’s not easy having that many people needing you to succeed.” I nodded my head at her statement as I turned my body to cuddle more into her.
I was asleep not long after that moment. It felt nice to fall asleep in her arms. I don’t think I have ever felt as comfortable as when I get to do that. When I woke up, I was alone in my bed as I checked my phone. I had a text from Alex telling me she needed to get back to her teammates which I understood.
I got ready for the day as I departed my hotel with some of my team members. My main technician, Austin was explaining the changes they are debating for the car. The car I have is not as good as the car they have given Lewis, but I understand its because they are more worried about Lewis winning than me. Which is why it’s important for me to take pole position today.
It didn’t take long for us to get to the track and find my spot. I smiled as I got changed and made my way to my car. I climbed in and got myself ready to go out onto the track for qualifying. I did some last-minute checks before driving out. Qualifying seemed to fly by as I pulled into the pit lane to be pulled into the garage.
“Well done (Y/N). Pole position in your first ever qualifying. Something to be proud of.” Austin said to me as I grinned at him. I glanced at the overhead screen and saw that I had taken first with Lewis and Charles both behind me.
“I haven’t won anything yet.” I replied earning a head nod from the man. I went to go take care of myself getting changed back into regular clothes and cleaning myself up. I stopped to talk to Lewis and Charles and some reports before going to find my family.
“Well done.” Pinoe said as I stepped into the lounge that they were allowed into. I was engulfed into a hug by my parents who both squeezed me tight.
“How are you feeling? You look tired.” Ma asked me as I smiled.
“I’m exhausted but I am so happy. Hopefully, I’ve done everything I can for tomorrow.”
“You got this. Also, you didn’t look like you were going so fast, but then I looked out the window and saw how fast you were going.” Kelley said as I smiled.
“It’s a rush.” I said as she nodded her head at me. My eyes then found Alex who was sitting next to Allie. She had a soft smile on her face as I smiled back at her. I wanted nothing more than to pull her into my arms but there were too many people around.
The rest of the day was more relaxed as I spent it with my family and friends. We went to dinner and hung out before I retreated back to my hotel room. It wasn’t long before someone was knocking on the door. I smiled knowing the only person it could be was Alex.
“I am so proud of you.” She said after pulling me in for a kiss. I had already closed the door behind her as I picked her up and carried her to the bed.
“I can’t believe I took pole position.” I said with a giddy smile on my face.
“I told you that you would.”
“I know but still…” I said as she smiled. We spent almost the entire night together before she had to leave again. I needed sleep for the race and her friends would come looking for her soon.
The next day I got up and I could already feel the nerves. This is it. My first race. I went through my pre-race rituals before it was finally time. I drove out on to the track and got into position. My team was doing last minute checks as I waited for the race to start.
“Now, it’s most likely that Lewis is going to box first.” Austin said as I shook my head.
“I should be boxing first.” I mumbled as he shot me a look. I was the rookie there was no way that they were going to box me first.
Everyone left the track as we got ready to start. We went through the formation lap before finally being set to go. I bit my lip in anticipation as I waited for the lights to go.
Once they went, I took off trying to put some distance between me and the boys behind me. The first corner was hell as I made my way around it. I came inches from hitting Lewis as I finally made it out in first. Over the next few laps, it was me fighting to put as much distance between Lewis and I considering he was going into the pits first.
One of the reasons I am so exciting to watch is how I race; I take the risks that other drivers wouldn’t dare to take. It’s one of the reasons my parents aren’t huge fans of my racing. I was told by my team that Lewis was pitting as I gritted my teeth just a little. I needed to win so I could prove that I am the driver they should be supporting more. Once he was done, they told me to box as I made my way around the track again. I pulled into the pits getting down to the regulated speed. They moved quickly as I was already making my way out of the pits. Once out of them, I radioed in to see what place I was in.
“Still in P1, there is a 2 second gap between you and Lewis.” I smirked to myself knowing he was probably bugged over that.
The rest of the race continued to be a dogfight almost as I entered the last lap. There was a 5 second gap between Lewis and I and there was no way I was letting him get in front of me. I couldn’t help but feel my eyes water as I crossed the finish line. It was official I had taken P1 and was now in the lead for the drivers championship.
I pulled into the pits and stopped my car as I climbed out. I stood on top of my car for a moment as I threw my arms up in the sky. Afterwards, I ran to my team. I celebrated with them knowing I couldn’t have done it without them. I took my helmet off as I looked around trying to hold back tears. I was pulled over for an interview as I smiled brightly. After that, I hugged Lewis and Charles as we headed back into the waiting room as I called it.
“Congratulations.” Lewis said as I grinned brightly at the man.
“Thank you, Lewis.”
After that we got to head to the podium as I was handed my trophy, we then did the champagne before finally being allowed to leave. I went out in search of my family as I was tackled into a hug by all of them.
“Holy shit!” ma said excitedly as I grinned at her. “That was incredible. I am so proud of you.”
“We are so proud of you.” My mom said as I smiled so softly. “I was terrified the whole time.”
“I know, but I won.” I said holding up the trophy. I continued accepting hugs from everyone as I finally got to Alex. She hugged me as I held onto her tightly.
“Congrats baby.” She said quietly in my ear as I smiled at her.
“Thank you.” She winked at me before we all went out for celebrations. I had to stop to talk to Toto before we left. He had told me that collectively they were all proud of me. That maybe things will be different in the future if I can continue putting out results like that.
Over the next few months, that is exactly what I did. I took home P1 in Bahrain, China, Spain, Canada, France, England, Italy, and Russia. I’ve taken P2 in Azerbaijan, Austria, Germany, Hungary, and Belgium. I took P3 in Monaco and Singapore. I currently have 322 points. I am exactly 58 points from winning the title for the season. That means I only need to win three out of the five races that are coming up.
Up next, we have the Japanese Grand Prix and I am extremely nervous over it. This is one of the most dangerous tracks to drive on. It always has shit weather and so accidents are more likely to occur. One of the last major incidents in Formula 1 was when Jules Bianchi collided with a recovery vehicle. He died almost a year later.
I tried not think about that as I made my way through the lobby of my hotel. I was heading back to my room because some of my parents’ teammates were here to watch the race. They had also come out to support me, but Alex was going to come see me soon, so I was excited to go see her.
Things have been weird between us because I know she wants to tell people about us, and I do too….I just don’t want my parents to flip out. I love Alex though. She makes me extremely happy and I know she is the person I am meant to be with. I just don’t know that I am ready for them to know about that part of my life.
Alex POV Switch
I sighed to myself as I listened to Kelley talk about the games that we would be playing soon. It’s not that I wasn’t interested but I had other things on my mind. Like, my girlfriend is too afraid to tell her parents that we are dating so now every conversation I have with them just feels awkward. Everyone on the team found out I am dating someone, but they don’t know who. They have been breathing down my neck to try to find out, but I have managed to keep it a secret.
“You know I am starting to feel like you’re not actually listening.” Kelley said earning smiles from everyone around us.
“I’m sorry I just have a lot on my mind.” I said as she nodded her head.
“Everything good?” Ash asked me as I stared at her. I hate this.
“Yeah I just am thinking about stuff with my family.” I lied as they all nodded their heads. It wasn’t long after that we got to the hotel. Most of us were exhausted from the flight over so we went straight to our rooms. I was rooming with (Y/N), but they didn’t know that. I got my room key from the desk before heading to the room.
I walked in and saw her stuff around the room. I smiled setting my stuff down as the bathroom door opened. I turned and smiled when she stopped and looked up at me.
“I’m not gonna lie my heart dropped a little.” She said as I crossed the room pulling her in for a kiss.
We stood for a moment before moving to sit on the bed. She pulled me into her arms as she ran her fingers up and down my back.
“I missed you so much.” She admitted as I smiled. I am fortunate to play in Orlando with her parents so when she visits them, I can see her, but it’s not super easy.
“I missed you too.” I said looking at her with soft eyes. “Are you excited to race this weekend?”
“I’m nervous. The Suzuka circuit is no joke.”
“You got it. I have full faith in you. It’s three races that you need right?”
“Yeah.” She nodded as I admired her face and the way her features moved with each passing thought she had.
“Was the flight over bad?” she asked a moment later as I shook my head.
“No, I slept for most of it.” I said as she nodded her head. After laying with each other for a few more minutes, we both got ready for the dinner we were supposed to go to later.
The night passed pretty quickly. We were able to keep everything on the down low which was good. She spent most of dinner talking with everyone about the race.
“So, if you win this race and the next two races then you win the championship?” Kelley asked as she nodded her head.
“Yes. I would have enough points that Lewis and the others wouldn’t be able to catch up to me.” She said as everyone nodded.
“So, winning should be easy for you…” Ash said earning a grin from my girlfriend.
“I’m definitely going to give it my best shot.” She said as everyone laughed.
After dinner, we headed back to the room where we got to really enjoy each other’s company. Staying up too late wasn’t an option due to her having qualifiers the next day. We had gone to the track and were watching in the little lounge that they had set up for us. There are definitely some benefits to not only being VIPs but part of a driver’s family.
“She seems like she gets better every race.”
“Yeah it does nothing for my anxiety.” Ali said as Ash bit her lip anxiously when (Y/N) went into a corner too late. By the end of the race, (Y/N) was starting in fourth so I knew she definitely wasn’t going to be happy. When she came into the lounge afterwards, I could see the exhaustion on her face.
“You did good kid.” Kyle joked as she frowned at him.
“I’m in fourth.” She said with a slight scowl. “I’m gonna have to dogfight my way to the top tomorrow.”
“You can do it.” Kelley said as she sat down putting her face in her hands. Her shoulders were tense, and I wanted nothing more than to her go over to her and give her some comfort, but I knew it would only make things worse.
Once we were back at the hotel, I made my way to the room where I found her laying down. I smiled a little walking over and laying next to her.
“It’s okay. You can still win tomorrow.” I said softly as she scoffed.
“I’m in fourth Alex. Lewis, Charles, and Sebastian would have to royally fuck up for me to overtake them. I just know that Toto is going to give the edge to Lewis to, so I am just fucked.”
“Hey…relax…” I said as she shook her head. I sighed as she stood and started pacing. “Why don’t we talk about something else?”
“Like what?” she asked as I stared at her for a moment.
“How about telling your parents we are together?” She stopped and stared at me. Her eyes were tired as she came over and sat down.
“I’m not ready to tell them.” She said as I sighed.
“(Y/N) its been like almost a year…”
“I just don’t want them in this part of my life yet. I thought you understood that.” She said as I stared at her with disbelief.
“I have been the most understanding person. I have let it go for months but this is so tiring. Having to hide and be so secretive when I want nothing more than to everyone about how much I love you.”
“I love you too.” She said quietly “I’m just…I don’t want them to know yet.”
“I can’t keep doing this.” I said standing up from the bed as she gave me a shocked expression.
“I don’t like those words.” She said as I nodded my head.
“Yeah me neither…but I mean them. I hate ultimatums but I feel like that’s the only way to get you to understand that I am serious.” I said crossing my arms as she shook her head.
“Alex…” she said approaching me. “Don’t throw our relationship away because of this.”
“At least then you don’t have a relationship to hide from them.” I said out of frustration as she bit her lip staring at me.
“Don’t. Please…” she said as I shook my head again.
“I’m gonna give you some space.” I said walking over and grabbing some stuff before leaving the room. I made my way to Kelley’s room as the defender allowed me into her room.
“What’s wrong?” she asked as I wiped away some tears.
“I think I just became single…” I said as the defender wrapped me into a hug.
That night was probably the worst sleep I have got in a while. The next day already felt terrible as it was heavily raining. I was able to borrow some of Kelley’s clothes as we met up with everyone.
“Where’s (Y/N)?” Tobin asked as she looked around for the driver. My heart clenched at the mention of her name.
“She had to go to the circuit. We are going right now too. The rain is going to be terrible to drive in.” Ali said as we left the hotel. The circuit was packed with people as we made our way to the lounge. We were offered to go sit in the garage, but the rain was going to be terrible, so we opted to stay in the lounge.
We sat talking with each other until the race started. I was hoping it would fly by so I could go talk to (Y/N). I regretted leaving things so badly between us especially since today was so important for her.
The race started not long after and it was around the 34th lap that she was able to overtake Lewis and take P1. Things seemed to be going well until they weren’t. In the 46th lap, while going into one of the corners. Something seemed to happen to her car as she didn’t slow down and plowed right into one of the barriers. Her car flipped up and slammed down upside down.
“oh my god!” Kyle yelled as Ash stood. Ali’s hands flew to her mouth as I felt my heart drop.
“That is not looking good at all for driver (Y/N) Harris. Members of the crew scrambling to get to her. The safety car now being deployed as the worry sets in for the Mercedes driver.” We all sat in absolute silence as we waited to see if she was okay.
“It does not appear like Harris is moving at all.” The commentator said as the crew members were able to lift the car enough to get her out. Everyone let out breaths of relief when she was pulled up by one of the crew members. She was moving around just a little. She seemed to be walking in the direction of her garage.
I was the first to stand running out of the lounge in the direction of the garage. I could hear footsteps behind me as I assumed Ash and them were behind me. I got to the garage in time to see her throw her helmet to the other side of the room. Some of the medics appeared to be trying to help her as I beelined it right for her. Her eyes found me as she stopped and opened her arms. I walked right into her wrapping my self around her as much as I could. She winced a little which made me feel guilty, but I needed to know she was okay. Her eyebrow was bleeding so I knew she needed to get check out.
“I’m alright.” She said as I buried my face into her neck. “It’s okay love...I’m okay.”
“I swear to god…” I mumbled with tears in my eyes as I pulled away to look at her. Without thinking, I kissed her needing to feel her close to me. She kissed me back before pulling away. “Let them look at you.”
“I will.” She conceded as I moved to the side a little so the medic could look at her.
While they were assessing her, I turned towards Ash and them who had variations of anger and concern on their faces. I walked towards them with hesitation.
“Okay. Wait…” I said as Ash raised an eyebrow at me.
“Wait? You’re dating my kid? Are you joking?” she asked as I looked down.
“Yes I am. I am dating (Y/N). We’ve been dating for almost a year. I love her and nothing you say is going to change that.”
“Excuse me?” she said as I stared at her.
“Guys this is not the place.” Ali said taking note of all the cameras around. “We will talk later.”
I nodded turning back to see the medic still assessing (Y/N). They decided to take her to just look at some other things. We were told to head back to the lounge while we waited for her. It was completely awkward as we all sat there not speaking waiting for her to join us.
“I know.” I turned to see my girlfriend walk in talking to Austen. “You don’t need to tell me that. I just need it fixed. I trust you.”
He nodded his head before leaving the room. She turned towards us with a small smile. Her right side of her face was bruised a little as her eyebrow had been bandaged.
“I’m cleared. Just some bruises and stuff.” She said as we nodded. She came over to where I was sitting next to me.
“Okay. First of all, I am glad you’re okay. I would’ve killed you if you weren’t. Secondly, explain.” Ali said looking between us. (Y/N) sighed looking at me and then back at her parents.
“I am dating Alex. I have been for a while. I didn’t tell you because I didn’t want you inserting yourself or anything. I am sorry I didn’t tell you. I asked her not to tell you because I wasn’t ready for you to know.” She said as they stared at her.
“I don’t understand what your issue is with being honest with us.” Ash said crossing her arms. My girlfriend shrugged as she looked at the screen. The race was coming to a close as Sebastian was taking first place. For the most part, (Y/N) was still in position to win the championship but I could see the disappointment on her face.
“You’ll win the next one.” I said softly as she looked at me. She smiled leaning in to give me a kiss.
“I love you.” She said as I smiled.
“I love you too. I’m sorry.”
“Don’t be. I deserved it. The world deserves to know how much I love you.” She said earning a small grin from me. I gave her another kiss as we seemed to get lost in each other.
“Okay that’s cute.” Kyle said looking at us. Ash and Ali both glared at him as he smiled at me. “You can’t deny that. Isn’t her happiness what matters?”
“Of course, but Alex is our teammate.” Ash complained
“Alex is only two years older than her.” Kelley commented as I nodded my head.
“Fine. If you break her heart, I’ll kill you.” Ash said as Ali nodded her head. I smiled and nodded my head.
“I wouldn’t dream of it.” I turned towards my girlfriend with a smile. “I love her too much.”
“I love you too.” She said giving me a kiss before Ash yelled at her to stop.
“We are still your parents.” She said with a disgusted expression.
“Yeah…okay leave me alone. I’m injured.” She said as I laughed softly at her.
They all continued arguing as I enjoyed the moment. Everyone knows now which means we don’t have to sneak around anymore. I’ll be interested to see how everything goes for us moving forward, but I know that as long as we continue to have each other nothing could break us.
The End.

Not As Bad As It Looks (Krashlyn x Reader)
Tumblr media
Request
A/n; Warning there is a slur used in this piece.
As usual, sorry for any mistakes, please enjoy.
“Oh sorry about that,” Hinkle smirked at Y/n, who grunted while getting put from the turf.
“Don’t worry about it.” Y/n brushed off anything that was on her.
The game was still in play, Y/n heading off to help get the ball back for her team but Hinkle took a moment to look at Ali and Ash to make sure the two saw the dirty tackle.
“That little-”
Ash had to stop herself, seeing that a ref was paying attention, almost giving her a look, daring Ash to finish that sentence.
Of course, they’d card her before Hinkle.
Ash watched from the goal, Ali putting pressure on the team, and Y/n getting the ball from the defender.
Y/n back to moving the ball down the field.
Getting about halfway, Y/n noticed the NC defenders closing in deciding to make a pass to Morgan.
Once the ball had left Y/n’s feet, Y/n felt her feet being taken out from under.
Hinkle’s knee had gone into Y/n’s stomach, knocking the wind out of Y/n, who was holding herself trying to get back to her feet.
Hinkle had already gotten up and before anyone could get there Hinkle saw the ref approach, who was reaching into the yellow card pocket.
For some reason, Hinkle thought she could avoid being carded if Y/n was back up again before the ref got over there.
Grabbing Y/n by the arm and shoulder, Hinkle tried to force Y/n up.
Y/n inhaled sharply, almost losing balance being on her knees, stumbling. Ali was already moving to see if Y/n was okay after the bad tackle but Ali saw Hinkle trying to force Y/n to her feet, picking up her speed.
“What the hell Hinkle?”
Ali was in Hinkle’s face, ready to give Hinkle a taste of her own medicine.
Hearing the ref’s whistle Ali relented, seeing the yellow card given to Hinkle.
Ali turned to focus on Y/n now, just barely standing up.
“You okay, baby?”
Y/n nodded, “Just got the wind knocked out of me.” The ref asked Y/n if she was okay to play and Y/n gave the ref a thumbs-up.
The play was about to begin again, Ali gave Y/n a brief kiss on the side of the mouth.
“You missed, Kriegs.”
Y/n mumbled, softly grabbing Ali’s chin, making sure it was a proper kiss.
After separating, Ali made sure to make eye contact with the homophobic, hoping this would finally make Hinkle back off.
-----
In the final minutes of the game, Y/n was near the NC goal and getting ready to jump for a header.
Y/n didn’t pay much attention that Hinkle was marking her but Hinkle made note of it.
Noticing the ball was in the air, Y/n tensed her legs and sprigged up.
At the same time the ball was deflected, Y/n also felt pain shoot through her nose and face.
Hinkle stumbled on her feet when landing, rubbing her elbow.
Y/n was on the turf on her back, still slightly stunned by the hit. Y/n’s nose had a small cut and was also pouring blood.
Ali was the first by Y/n’s side, watching her go down. Ash ran from the other side of the field, heading straight to Hinkle.
“Hinkle, what the fuck?!” Ash was still angry from the other times Hinkle had hurt Y/n, Ash shoving Hinkle back.
The ref was ready to card Hinkle from having her elbows up, now having to card Ash.
Ashlyn was glad to see the card above Hinkle, resisting the eye roll when the ref did the same to her, regrettably admitting she deserved it.
But then Hinkle decided she wasn’t done, “It’s what you both deserve, fagot.”
Luckily for Hinkle, some of Ash’s teammates started to gather around the two to make sure Ash would stay calm and two of them were able to stop the goalkeeper before she was able to do something.
The ref was able to hear Hinkle’s words and held up the red card instead, sending Hinkle off the field immediately.
Ash was done dealing with everything, walking over to Ali and Y/n.
Y/n was leaning over the turf, trying to keep the jersey clean while the blood continued to leak out.
The medical team came over giving Y/n a cloth to help stop the bleeding.
“Well, this sucks.” Ash chuckled at Y/n’s comment, seeing the medic team start to guide Y/n off the field.
Ash stopped Y/n, picking her up bridle-style, Y/n squeaking in surprise, “Ash!”
Ash started walking them off the field, “Ash, I can still walk.”
“Not while I’m around princess.” Y/n rolled her eyes at the name Ash only called her when she was overprotective.
Ash finally let Y/n down at the edge of the turf, “Okay, my knight in shining armor.”
Ash pressed a kiss against Y/n’s forehead before letting the medic team check her out on the bench.
Reluctantly going back to the game Ali and Ash watched the clock, thanking every second that went by.
-----
“I swear, you guys, it was just a bloody nose.”
Y/n would’ve found it funny if she wasn’t the subject of torture.
Ali had asked if the pillows were comfortable for the third time, Ash made sure the small bandage on Y/n’s nose was done well and clean, and more.
“You still got nailed by Hinkle the whole match.” Y/n sighed, knowing neither of them would let up.
Ash spooned Y/n in their bed, Ali doing a checklist in her head to make sure everything was in order.
“You’re more clingy than usual too, what’s bothering you, baby?”
Y/n tried to turn to talk to Ash.
“Nothing. I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Y/n just raised her eyebrow at Ash, Ali now getting in the covers and listening.
“Hinkle just got under my skin tonight, that’s all.”
“I’ll withhold kisses for 24 hours, Harris.”
Ash cursed herself, “Hinkle’s elbow blow was intentional, she said you deserved it. Hinkle also used a slur and I wanted to see more than a red card for it.”
“That explains why they finally sent her off,” Ali said while Y/n gave Ash a gentle kiss, as a thank you.
“I’ll kick her ass next time she tries anything,” Ash mumbled, spooning Y/n again, realizing the pain medication was taking effect.
Y/n started to drift off, letting Ali sandwich her.
“Just don’t beat her too badly, Ash.”
“No promises.”

Moving Away - Krashlyn/Reader
This one’s a little short, but I didn’t want to end it any other way. I wanted to get another imagine out tonight, but I don’t think it’s gonna happen. So hopefully, I’ll have one up tomorrow morning before I go to work.
prompt: Reader is Krashlyn’s daughter and is moving away for college. Krashlyn is helping her move.
warning: none
words: 789
Tumblr media
Y/N’s POV
I pulled the last box out of the back of the car and carried it into the dorm room that would be my home for a while. It was finally moving day and I was moving into my dorm room with the help of my moms. They were definitely emotional about it. Ali, my Mom, was definitely more emotional than Ash, my Ma, was.
It could have also been that Ma had gone to the University of North Carolina when she was in college and now I was going there as well. Ma knew that my coach, Anson Dorrance, would look out for me. But Mom had gone to Penn State when she was in college. Mom was a bit more nervous about me being on my own in a different state than they were.
I grinned as I saw Mom helping Ma get the sheets onto my bed. I sat the box in my hands down on the ground before I helped them. Mom threw me a smile as I turned to unpack the boxes that were on the floor of the dorm room. My moms had wanted me to stay in an apartment off-campus so that I could have more privacy since sometimes I didn’t have the best schedule due to my traveling, but I was able to get them to compromise with them so that I could stay on campus.
“I love you so, so much.”
“Mom,” I groaned. She wrapped an arm around me as she kissed my cheek. “Come on, I know you love me. It’s hard not to love me. I need to get unpacked.”
“That wasn’t what you’re supposed to say,” Mom pulled me closer to her. I shook my head at her because I knew that this would happen. Mom was really having a harder time with me moving away for college.
“I love you, too,” I smiled at her. Mom let go of me so that I could get back to work. Every now and then I would glance over my shoulder to watch my moms working together. I could only hope that one day I would love someone like they loved each other.
“Hey, (Y/N), weren’t you looking for this yesterday?” I turned around to look at Ma to see the blanket in her hands. I smiled at the familiar blanket as I took it from her.
It was an old, plaid blanket. There wasn’t anything special about the blanket, but it was one of the most special things I had. I nodded my head as I took it out of Ma’s hands.
“I told you that lost things have a way of turning up,” Mom said once she saw the blanket in my hands. I had lost it yesterday when I couldn’t find the blanket. I took the blanket with me just about everywhere I went. “I thought I had thrown that away a long time ago.”
“Mom, you can’t just throw it away.”
“And why not?”
“It’s my blanket,” I knew she wouldn’t really understand because I hadn’t exactly ever told my parents how much the blanket meant to me. “God, I begged you guys so much to get this blanket.”
“I remember,” Ma said. I looked over at her and she was shaking her head. “I don’t know why you wanted it. It isn’t even that soft.”
“Don’t you talk about my blanket like that,” I pulled the blanket closer to me. “This was the first thing you guys had gotten me.”
“No, it wasn’t,” Mom shook her head. It was the first thing that my parents had gotten after I was adopted by them. I had kept the blanket it ever since.
“It was, Mom. I’ve been sleeping with this blanket since I got it.”
Getting the blanket that was in my hands had happened so long ago. So much had happened since my parents had gotten me the blanket. I wouldn’t change a thing leading up to this moment. All my parents had done was surround me in love.
“That was so long ago,” Ma said as she pulled me into her side. “Now look at where we are.”
“When you guys adopted me, did you think that I would go on to become a Tar Heel?” I asked as I looked between the two women that had raised me.
“Yes.”
“No.”
I smiled at the different answers. My moms had always made it clear to me that they wanted me to make my own path. I think I did surprise them when I decided to go to UNC on a scholarship for soccer. I grabbed onto Mom’s wrist and pulled her into a hug with Ma and me.
“I love you, guys.”

I wouldn’t be surprised if Kyle was a big factor in their rs and in turn their issues. It seems like ak carry’s a weird guilt and in turn centres Kyle in everything. Like he does the bare minimum for her, he rarely sees the kids which lol when you realise Sophia has been around them more in one year than he has in 3. She does everything for him and seems to be fine leaving her family to help him, like his opinion probably trumped ashlyns. The way he was with ‘krashlyn’ was icky and the fact he did that after the divorce was just disgusting.
He was around in some of the USWNT I was and Jesus Christ, that guy is unsufferably annoying. I keep imagining what is like to live with someone like this when you are not related to them. Especially cause the Harris are very privated and he like "Look at me" all the time.
I laugh at the "Sophia was more around the kids than him" cause it so fucking true. Like when they adopted Sloane, you could count on the fingers how many times he was around her and out of nowhere he is back in the picture and now vanished again when the hype died out.
About the relationship with Ali, basing solely from what I know from Ali as a person, cause I doubt she will ever speak about it, she is the type of person that never leaves a soldier behind in her team (but that depends on who she considers to be her team) and Kyle sorta became behind cause when she was starting to building her name he was dealing with heavy stuff, so I guess part of her feels guilty for if and he knows how to use this when it's convenient to him. All I am going to say is that guess who is giving support for him to build his house... and yeab, Ashlyn and Kyle were on a page where they were just civil with each other after the thanksgiving incident, but he broke that truce with his stupid tweets and claiming she cheated when she did it. And honestly, i think he did that with Ali being okay with him being her proxy.

Stoic keeper and sick girl chapter 2
Summary: (Y/N) has taken Lexa inside to warm her up. things are revealed and big decisions are made.
Also, COVID19 doesn’t exist in this fic!
warrnings: Talking about cancer. if this is a trigger don’t read. Everything mentioned is from my own experience as may not apply to everybody.
part 1
Tumblr media
“Lexa if I may be blunt can I ask you something? You don’t have to answer if you don’t want to but what else did the doctors tell you?” Lexa looks a little bit surprised at your question but when she looks into your eyes and sees nothing but kindness she relaxes again. Taking a big breath she speaks.
“I think they called it leukaemia but I don’t know what that means. I only know I get very sick from it and to get better I have to stay in the hospital. My blood hase to get drawn a lot.” Hearing the word fall makes you pause, you had your suspicion it was some kind of cancer but for it to be leukaemia it hits close to home.
At her age, you probably couldn’t have explained it any better and you tell her as much. As a kid, you hated nothing more than talking to an adult and them not listening to you while you were confused.
Lexa looks up at you when you don’t ask questions or look at her weird. When people knew they always looked at her strangle and with pity or they would just avoid her like she had some contagious disease.
“don’t you think I’m weird?” Lexa asks you in a small voice, breaking your heart.
“why would I think you’re weird? Getting sick isn’t something you choose.” You saw tears gather in her eyes at your words and if your heart could break any more it would know. You wanted to soothe her but didn’t want to put her in any more danger.
“When I tell people they look in their eyes changes and they suddenly don’t want to play with me anymore.” Lexa sobs tears now freely falling down her cheeks. Not being able to take it anymore you shrug off your hoodie leaving you in a clean T-shirt. You also grab the disinfectant from your bag before you pick her up. She immediately buries her face in your shoulder and latches onto you with a weak grip.
“I know sweetheart, it’s okay. People fear what they don’t understand and kids can be cruel when they sense something is different.” You rock her back and forth to calm her down.
“but they are right. I am fat, ugly and weak.” Lexa sobs into your shoulder. At the same time, you want to cry with her and yell at the people who made her feel that way.
“that is not true Lexa. Your hair fell out because of the chemo. The chubbiness is because of all the steroids you get in your therapy and the reason you are feeling weak is that you are waging an internal battle. That doesn’t make you weak, do you know what that makes you?” you feel her shake her head in your shoulder, but feel her calming down.
“that makes you strong. It makes you a warrior.” You tell her, believing every word of it. It takes her a couple of minutes to completely calm down but soon enough she is speaking again.
“how do you know that?” her question is innocent and expected. Not many people knew so much about cancer.
“because Lexa I too have had Leukaemia when I was a kid, so I’m speaking out from experience when I say it seems like you are alone in the world but you are not.” It was like a weight fell off your shoulder. What you had told Lexa you hadn’t even told your teammates.
“you had the same thing I have.” Lexa looks up at you with big round eyes. She had never met anybody who had the same thing she had. Kids at the group home rather liked to avoid her because she was different.
“yes, I had. I know that you probably won’t believe me when I tell you when everything is going to be okay but it is.” You promise, making her face fall.
“no it isn’t.” her voice sounds hollow and you are a little confused at her solemn state.
“why not sweetheart?” you hope she trusts you enough to talk to you. Over this short time, you had gotten emotionally attached.
“because I ran away and am probably going to die now.” Being a little shocked hearing her tell you she ran away.
“Why did you run away from home sweetheart?” you feel her shrink into.
“I’m not mad at you Lexa I promise, I just want to help.” At your calm and soothing words, Lexa can’t help but cry again. she tries to explain everything while she is crying but you don’t understand anything of it.
“calm down sweetheart I can’t understand you like this. Try to imitate my breathing.” You lay her hand over your heart so she can feel it beating and calm down.
“because I don’t want to do it alone anymore. The people at the group home don’t care and leave alone always. I don’t want to be alone anymore.” There is so much pain and hurt in her words and you can only imagine the trauma’s she had to go through o her own. Anger overcoming you when hearing her story.
instead of letting your anger consume you make a decision that is best for Lexa. You set her down on the bench again and crouch in front of her to get her attention.
“would you want to fight again if you didn’t have to do it alone?” you ask her trying to keep your own nerves down.
“Nobody wants a broken kid like me. I’m to much work for people to want to adopt me.” She says it with so much conviction you don’t want to know how many times those words have been repeated to her and how many families had turned her down before.
“what if I told you that I would be interested to take you in. I promise you will never have to do any of that scary stuff alone again.” the hope in her eyes makes your heart warm.
“you would want me?” you smile at her and nod. You were going to have to do a couple of preparations ut you were prepared to go the extra mile.
“Lexa I want to go all-in if you want to try it too. The only thing you need to do is trust me oaky?” suddenly Lexa is hanging around your neck and hugging you.
“I want to try.” With those words, you jump into action. You had heard a couple of your teammates on the other side of the door and you would need their help to make this work. Calling out Christen and Ali respond.
