Outgoing to Brazil! I love sending art cards but fear too many people actually specify them as cards they aren’t fans of. So when I find a profile that hasn’t said they aren’t a fan, or specifically requests artistic cards, I send one. * * I’ve settled into this first week after mass sending cards with sending a couple a day to friends and people that pop into my mind to send them to. When I saw this vintage booklet I couldn’t NOT get it. Yes, to all teachers out there that’s a double negative, and I know. * I am not swapping these just with random people from here, and if I do choose to swap I’m going to be picky. * * No, these cards will be hoarded for a while. I know a few of my regular postcarding buddies love Sanrio, and they may want to receive one of these along the way. * * I’m getting back to regular postcard sends. Some to friends and some on @postcrossing …. Would you like to write some postcards with me? A video will be on my Youtube channel today, doing just that. * * I oftentimes forget to do a quick "Write With Me" video because I overthink it in my head, or I write my postcards at night while watching a TV show. The lighting isn't the best then sadly. Maybe I will do an evening vibe video one day and see how it does. I think bright colors is preferred though. * * Life is busy, we are still getting the house in order and it is overwhelming. There is so much that needs to be done and I just don't know where to start. I also have to find a new doctor, new vets, and new just everything... at least I FINALLY got my haircut! WOOHOO! I haven't had a haircut at a salon in OVER two years. Actually, I think it was closer to three years. The cut turned out very well, not my preferred haircut as it is still a bit too long, but we will get there. * * In HAPPY news, WORLD POSTCARD DAY is coming up! This is from Orcas Island. Moran State Park, Mount Constitution Observation Tower, and it’s such a fun place! * * We went last year and enjoyed the trip thoroughly. I loved the way the Tower looked and will probably try to do a trip every other year or so. In East Sound there’s a delightful bakery called Brown Bear Baking, get more than one pastry while you’re there. Get a Savory for lunch and a sweet for later, and maybe even another for later later! Some outgoing that wen my into my outbox today! I really hurt my back yesterday with all the gardening, lifting furniture, bending, and lifting some boxes. Such is life.
