Moxy with the NCT 127
The long awaited post for me!!!! Here is a closer look at Moxy’s relationships with the members of 127. Enjoy!!! ~ Author Izzy
Moxy x Taeil
Tumblr media
Taeil was always nice Moxy. Treating her kindness and respect but never getting to close. Anytime he wanted to, it seemed like Johnny and Doyoung had everything under control
So Taeil decided to be her silent support. During her first two promotions with 127, Taeil would always keep a close eye on her. Eventually, he began to be able to tell when Moxy needed someone. And when she did he was there.
Taeil became her emotional support oppa. Whenever she needed quiet cuddle time, she went to him. Mainly because he never told anyone. The real reason: Haechan was right. Taeil is a perfect cuddle buddy.
As she got more comfortable with her position within 127, Moxy visited Taeil a little less but she knew that her oppa’s arms were open for her always
These two constantly trade edm songs with each other. When the rest of the members are out, they’ll blast music and have their own party in the dorms.
He knows Moxy doesn’t like chocolate so if he makes a dessert with chocolate in it, he’ll make a special one for her with white chocolate
Moxy x Johnny
Tumblr media
Johnny is Moxy’s dad. No ifs, ands or buts. He is her father.
With Moxy having her own room, Johnny makes a habit out of coming in and checking on her. He also drags her out to get sunlight every couple of days.
Johnny: You will not sit here and become a vampire. Let’s go!
Moxy: But I’m allergic to sun..
When Johnny was doing NCT Night Night, Moxy came to watch in studio. Usually falling asleep to Johnny and Jaehyun’s voices
Whenever he buys her clothes, he refuses to buy her any black clothing. Claiming she need to expand her color palette
Johnny has a job a Moxy’s Bodyguard #1. He sits or stands one place down from her to keep an eye on her. In airports, she remains in his eyesight's at all times.
Moxy x Taeyong
Tumblr media
For some time, Taeyong and Moxy didn’t have a relationship. She didn’t get to know him. He didn’t get to know her. In an effort to take care of the other (at the time) nine members, Moxy just flew under the radar.
After an interview gone wrong, Taeyong made the decision to pay more attention to the younger girl
Taeyong was impressed by her talent, all aspects of it. So he began to help with her rapping and dancing.
Taeyong was the first member to notice her non-eating habits. To rectify that, he started keeping small snacks he knew she liked with him
Taeyong loves to run his fingers thru her hair. During vlives, he’ll pull her in front of him and start twisting and tangling her hair
These two are always bouncing ideas off of each other. Moxy’s very in touch with her feelings she knows exactly what she needs to do to express those feelings in a song and that really helps Taeyong when he gets stuck with lyrics.
Moxy x Yuta
Tumblr media
Yuta is the second member of the silent supporters. Yuta keeps Moxy safe using his body. If the group is walking thru a crown, Yuta keeps Moxy in his sights at all times. If they’re on a sidewalk, Yuta makes sure she walks on the inside even if she’s not walking with him
These two love to watch anime together. As of right now, they are in the midst of a Fairy Tail rewatch. Whenever they have time, they catch a couple episodes
He is the only person Moxy could do no wrong with. The only hyung who will let Moxy do what she wants. If Moxy sneaks out to get some fries, Yuta causes the distraction
Yuta always encourages Moxy to dress in more girly clothing. He knows how much she enjoys it but never feels confident enough to wear it. So he’s tries to help her overcome that
Moxy x Doyoung
Tumblr media
(I love this gif!!)
If Johnny is the dad, Doyoung is the mom.
He looks after her all the time. Doyoung was always scolding both her and the other members for not really getting to know each other.
Doyoung helped her a lot to break out of her shell. He even accompanied her to practice her gymnastics in Korea for the first time
Doyoung found out about Moxy’s terrible eating habits in the worst way possible. From then on, he made it his personal mission to make sure she eats
During Doyoung and Moxy’s early time with NCT, Moxy would have a hard time sleeping so Doyoung left his door open to her. Most of the time, She ended up in his room before morning
Doyoung does not like for Moxy to show a lot of skin around other male idols outside of NCT. There are plenty of clips where Doyoung will cover Moxy’s legs and shoulders with the closest blanket or jacket
If Doyoung is having trouble with dance moves, he’ll pull her aside for help
Moxy x Jaehyun
Tumblr media
Jaehyun is the third silent supporter Moxy has. Fans can catch him fixing her clothes, moving her hair into the correct place and softly catching her attention to check on her.
Moxy has a tendency to space out. During those moments, Jaehyun usually grabs her hand and rubs his thumb on the top of her hand in small circle until she snaps out of it
Jaehyun always guides her off stage. He’s a tensy bit scared of her walking in heels and possibly slipping and falling
Moxy likes singing with Jaehyun. Around the dorm, the two will start singing and (without talking) harmonizing
Moxy x Jungwoo
Tumblr media
Jungwoo and Moxy were close from the get-go. Moxy helped Jungwoo find his place within 127 and he’s always thankful to her. The other members of 127 are just a bit jealous of how close the two became in such a short time
Moxy and Jungwoo flirt.....alot! There is literally no boundaries between them. When Moxy lived in the 127 dorm she would steal his clothes all the time.
When on stage, they might as well be attached at the hip. Fans will see them gravitating towards each other like magnets. At fansigns, Jungwoo will tell the fans to checkup on his girl two spaces down
Jungwoo is the only person who will ever see Moxy freak over other kpop groups. She would rather appear indifferent to everyone else. Jungwoo was only other member to figure out Moxy had a crush on Mark from Got7
Moxy x Mark
Tumblr media
M squared didn’t have any sort of relationship until recently. For most of their shared career, they were just members in the same band.
Early on, K-fans made many comparisons between the two 99 liners. Both were from countries outside of Korea. Both were exceptional at rap, dance and singing. In most title tracks, you can bet Mark and Moxy are gonna have a rap verse where they go line for line
Many fans called Moxy a mixture of Taeyong and Mark. Those comments got to him. And because Mark didn’t talk to her, she didn’t talk to him. This all came to a head when SuperM was just starting.
Mark should have been happy. Happy to have his raps all to himself. But he found himself missing Moxy’s energy. Her hype affected him so much stage. It made go even harder with every word.
When Mark finally got back for Superhuman promotions, Mark finally started to make a effort to befriend Moxy. While the two are getting closer, Mark is still at the bottom of her relationships within 127
Moxy x Haechan
Tumblr media
Different from Mark, Haechan and Moxy grew close fast. At first, he saw her like Haechan see’s Taeil. The quiet member who just the right person to break them out of their shell. And that he did
Haechan would always crash into her room like a hurricane, kick everyone out and steal Moxy for the rest of the day
They love learning old and new kpop dances together. These two are a walking random play dance challenge.
During the summer fight, Donghyuck would stow away in Moxy’s room. The hyungs wouldn’t hear any noise coming so they would check on them almost every thirty minutes just to make sure the two were ok.
Moxy is one of the only members who is privy to Donghyuck in a down mood. “You never have to front with me. You got me?”
Moxy and NCT Dream
Tumblr media
Moxy is their noona and don’t you forget it.
Moxy adores Renjun’s energy. His aura never fails to make her feel safe and calm. Moxy and Renjun have little dates where they just sit in his room and watch YouTube theory videos
Jeno likes to workout with Moxy but she will only join if he’s going to a gym. Moxy refuses to ride bikes across half of Korea
Just like Johnny does with Moxy, she drags Jaemin out of his room for some outside time whenever its been awhile since they’ve seen the sun
Every third Thursday of the month, mochenji get together at chenle’s house and have a sleepover. Private time between the maknae’s and their favorite noona
Moxy and WayV
Tumblr media
Hendery, Xiaojun and Yangyang love to tease Moxy about her bias on Ten. They flood her text message with pictures of him. They make little comments that make her blush in front of him.
Ten thinks its Moxy’s crush is adorable. He found out a while ago (I mean Moxy isn’t subtle.....). The only person Ten told was Kun. Ten loves to buy things for her just to see her eyes light up
You can’t put Moxy in the same room as Lucas cause she will literally pass out from laughing too much
Back in their trainee days, Kun would accompany Moxy to the train station to get home. One time, it was really late and Kun walked her all the way home. Kun became her grandmother favorite NCT member that day.
Winwin and Moxy found common ground in the tricking Winwin did (i.e. the front flip in fire truck) Winwin loved going to her gymnastics practice and practicing flips with her.
Moxy and NCT U
Tumblr media
Shotaro is her shy Japanese child and if anything hurts him, Moxy would burn Korea to the ground.
Other SM trainees tried to scare him by warning him about Moxy’s “Bad Attitude”. Telling him that he would never get her help or advice. Shotaro not knowing any better steered clear.
One day, Moxy found him struggling with his Korean lessons and She immediately sat down with and helps him. Breaking everything down slowly. She even called Yuta to help because she only knew a tiny bit of Japanese. Ever since, Moxy has protected Shotaro.
Sungchan loves to flirt with his Noona but all he gets in return is a swat on the arm. Truly, Sungchan loves being around Moxy. She took the time to introduce him to the other members and let him cling to her while he was getting used to being thrown into such a well known group
Moxy loves to take care of Sungchan and Shotaro. She’ll buy them food and The members of 12 were shocked to see how easy it was for the new members to drag Moxy out of the house

Not Surviving & Thriving | First Art Therapy Session
Do you ever have one of those late-night mental and emotional breakdowns and its not over just one thing, it’s over EVERYTHING?!
Well, that was me last night at around midnight. I wasn’t just emotional over one thing I was emotional over EVERYTHING. However, this had to do with a lot of built-up emotions that I was struggling to express because I’ve been emotional and mentally exhausted for the past month or so, but this week really did it for me.
From June 22 until last night (June 25), I think this was one of my many breaking points. Now, I wouldn’t consider this my lowest of them, but I felt like if I didn’t take a step back I would go deeper into the dark place I’ve been trying to climb out of for months. This was one of those I caught myself before it got worse, but it was still pretty bad.
So, I decided to do art therapy. I’ve been sitting on the idea for a while, and therapy in general, but there were a lot of things that weren’t allowing me to do therapy, in general. For one, finding free therapy in general is hard. Also, the thought of regular therapy just, I don’t know, I’ve been more interested in art therapy since I feel like I’ve not only been struggling emotionally but it’s carried over into me struggling creatively when trying to produce content.
Luckily, I came across in one of my email newsletters from ‘The Good Trade’ about art therapy for anxiety. Within that newsletter was a link to a website called Thirsty for Art. With the resources provided from a podcast that includes guided sessions, to a pdf file for a “mini art retreat for self-care,” to much more.
The first podcast episode I listened to was episode 19, which involved how to do self art therapy at home since I’m unemployed and without health insurance, I can’t afford to pay for therapy.
This morning, I took the leap to start my first art therapy session, and to be honest, it sort of helped. I developed some mental clarity, but not a lot. I felt a little bit relieved emotionally, but not that different. The first session I did for myself which involved using shapes and colors to brain dump and express my thoughts. Creating an art piece then reflecting on it with a journal entry is something I didn’t know I needed until now. So, I look forward to the future sessions I will have with myself and hopefully will crawl further and further out of this dark place I’ve been in.
This first session allowed me to really think about what I’ve been struggling to express these past few weeks...months actually, and I found out, it’s a mixture of frustration and deep sadness which has evolved into the anxiety and depression that’s been keeping me up until 5 AM every single night for the past month and only getting about 4 hours of sleep a day. The feelings that have developed into me obtaining unhealthy habits and displaying themselves, not just on the inside, but on the outside with weight gain and stressed-out skin. And with all of that happening on top of the current state of the world (especially with black lives matter and just people making me sick and angry with their ignorance), I’ve just been spiraling so instead I’m not surviving and I sure the hell am not thriving.
With all that being said, I am happy to announce I am back on Youtube and uploading content twice a week (and soon three times a week). So, if you’re interested in all things Korean from Kpop to Kbeauty to studying Korean to moving to Korea, please subscribe to my channel and leave a comment on my most recent video if there is anything you’d like to see specifically as far as those topics. And since I am trying to be a full-time content creator, I’d also be super grateful if you checked out the links in the description box of my video to see how to support my channel and journey to move to Korea in Summer 2021.
Can I just ramble and say I still feel weird asking people to check out my channel and links. I don’t know, trying to promote my content in order to secure the bag and thrive is still....uncomfortable to me. I keep self-doubting myself and thinking not a single person will support my channel like they would some of my favorite creators (examples: Kennie J.D., Megan Bowen, JoanDay, etc.). Like why would anyone, especially strangers on the internet support me when there are better creators in my niche? Does that make sense?
Anyways, I was not intending for this blog post to be that long, but here we are. I’m going to go eat lunch now. After I’ll do dishes then try to take a nap before studying, filming/editing, and more cleaning.
Until next time, please stay safe and healthy! ^^

Showed in Your Eyes
Summary: In the heat of the moment you find yourself forgetting your surroundings only knowing what is in front of you.
Minho X Jisung
Oneshot
This is for my Secret Santa job for Stray Kids Secret Santa Exchange @lee-knows-it I hope you enjoy this I tried to make it to your liking and all (I also wish you happier days, and warm hugs and smiles) @skzsecretsanta thanks for making this possible :)
Gang Au (Knocking out someone(s), kidnapping, selling drugs, hacking, I guess I did mention stabbing, but no deaths!)
You better believe this gang is strong, mostly because of their tight family bonds, these nine are inseparable and would go great lengths to protect each other their much more like a mafia because of their strong family bond
But they are more just nine kids that didn’t have support from their families, found each other and started relying on each other to make income
Chan is the leader of stray kids, no surprise there because he's quite smart, although he got into dealing drugs… he has a 4.0 GPA in college rn which is impressive, and actually tutors a few people he sells drugs to. He makes alliances with other gangs so if there is ever a time they go belly up he knows got7 will have their back and so will twice
Jeongin the youngest and helps makes the drugs alongside Seungmin, and packages it and sends it to Hyunjin who makes the deals
Seungmin he makes drugs alongside Jeongin and he likes to do chemistry so when he by accidentally found out how to make drugs, he was selling them and that lead to some trouble until he made friends with Woojin and he enlisted him into the gang
Hyunjin makes deals, but not only because he's handsome, its because the kid has a way with words, acts like he's giving them deals, by telling them a higher price than they are charging for, if they're not going for the price he starts off with, he'll tell them “You know you're cute, say what, I'll give you 50 percent off” they fall for it everytime
Woojin and Chan met by chance, Chan switched his course in bio, and Woojin needed a partner, and they were talking and found out they both could use each other
Woojin can make friends with ease and makes sure he can trust them before he draws them in to the gang
Changbin knew Jisung since high school and they both joined at the same time
They both do the same thing of dealing out drugs, although Changbin can be more aggressive if the person starts haggling Hyunjin for a lower price
Jisung may look soft and squishy but he puts up a fight like no other, they always think they can steal from Jisung because of his looks, they have another thing going
Hyunjin is so glad to have them behind him when he is making deals
Minho is a fighter, if the group ever gets into any trouble he is the one who is ready to beat up anyone who hurts his family, he also the interrogator of the group, much more of the bad cop
Also forgot to mention that Chan is the good cop interrogator if someone messes with them and comes into their borders without a reasonable reason
Felix was the last one to get into the gang he is a skilled hacker, he was on the run from Australia the govt caught him hacking in, Woojin found out and asked him if he wanted to join and they would never snitch on him, and Felix agreed and is the hacker for group and if anyone ever gets kidnapped or anything he is first to know and already laying out the blueprints to get them out
If we’re going in order how it works, Woojin recruit the members in the gang, Chan makes alliances with other gangs and sets up the meeting to sell the drugs, Jeongin and Seungmin are the drug makers, once the drug is made, it is handed over to Hyunjin, Hyunjin goes to the meeting place with Changbin and Jisung ready to jump in, if all fails and they get kidnapped, Felix is on it in a second, hacking into the cameras finding out where they were taken, once he finds out, Minho is on it in second, and without fail bails them out
Jisung and Hyunjin went together on a drug sale, Changbin was sick but trusted the two could take it in just like the rest of the gang thought they could
It turns out that the guy they were dealing with was aggressive, didn't like haggling, and started taking out on the two Jisung started fighting with him told Hyunjin to run and tell the others, thinking he had it
Before Hyunjin even made it off the side street, Jisung was snatched off the street and kidnapped
The minute Minho heard the news, his heart broke and he was blistering with anger
He started demanding Felix to work faster, he watched through the camera as Jisung was picked up and thrown into the back, he couldn't hear what was going on but he was kicking the man, but it was clear there were others
Minho turned away not being able to bare watching the scene unfold
He wouldn't lie if you asked him if he had feelings for Jisung he flat out tell you he did
He's just to shy to tell it to Jisung so he just babies him with cuddles and always worries about him, he would love to admit it but he worries about Jisung just liking him as a friend
And seeing that Jisung just got kidnapped his heart is completely crushed
“I found it just let me hack into the system and get your blueprints” A deep voice calls out, pulling Minho out of his thoughts
Not another minute goes before Felix prints it out, he gets up, “Go get your man” Minho's blush covers his face, he puts in his bluetooth and slams the car into drive down seven blocks parking across the street
Felix telling him to “go left and there should be an open window there” he hops up in
“Two guards coming up fast,... you're clear now, go down two doors on the right” Minho rushing being careful not to make a sound he sighs as he opens and shuts the door
“Secret bookshelf it should be the fifth green book on the 3rd shelf that opens it” he scans over the books, pulling at the grin book and nothing happens
“I don't think-” as the bookshelf starts spinning, “Late reaction I guess… anyway, you should be seeing three doors, pick the very first one and in there is Jisung but be warned he isn't alone!!”
Minho pulls up his black bandana, and opens the door, meeting a dark, wet, cement, he carefully steps in and slips into the corner
It must be a boiler room, and he looks and sees a shadow he quickly takes a stab at the person and they let out a grunt, “What's wrong, Lucas?” he hears a voice call out, he muffles his hand over Lucas mouth and quickly rids the man of any weapons while Lucas tries to fight back, to no avail, Minho knocks him out slamming his head enough against the cement to knock him out
“Lucas can't you see I'm in the middle of something!!!” a man screams out, stomping angrily towards them pulling a gun out at Minho, “What did you do to him?” “What did you do to Jisung?”
“Oh so this what this about… well I'm Taeyong, you're pretty good at sneaking past people aren't you?” Minho visibly gulps, “Well, let's make a trade you help Lucas up and bandage him. I'll see over it Jisung will stay here and I will give him back”
“You must care about your members a lot” “More than you would ever guess”
They take Lucas into another room and bandage him up and Lucas moans out in pain and rolls over but refuses to get up, “Now take me to Jisung and let me leave”
“Oh I'll take you to Jisung alright” and a gun is placed in the small of Minho's back taking Minho's arms and twisting them behind his back with one hand holding the gun in place and pushing him into the other room
Minho growls and loosens up, before he takes Taeyong on by surprise and throws him over him, in a quick burst he wrangles the gun out of Taeyong's hand, finally, seeing Jisung in front of him
He sighs in relief as he looks at Jisung, but before he could do anything to try to save Jisung he feels Taeyong move and start kicking at him, in one fail swoop he bashes his head on the ground to knock him out long enough to save Jisung and get out of there
He tips off the bandana on Jisung’s face seeing tears streaming down his face he looks up and sees Minho, his eyes widening as he softly gasps. Minho pulls his bandana down
He squats down to his level before cutting off the ropes surrounding Jisung's wrists
Jisung wraps his arms Minho, he laughs in relief, “I'm so glad it's you that came for me” Minho nods as he cuts the ropes from around his ankles
Before he can lift him over his shoulder and listen to what Felix is telling him, Jisung whispers, “I know it's a bad time to say this,... but you have the most beautiful eyes I've ever had chance to catch a glimpse of…” Minho feels his heart speed up, he seeing his chance, he takes his chin into his hand and kisses Jisung
He feels Jisung kiss back, he realizes where he is, “We can continue this later” he throws him over his shoulder, “Okay Felix tell me where it's clear"
Felix guides him through with ease, he rushes out the car and speeds off, his hand finding Jisung's as he makes it back to Woojin's house. He parks in the lot and Jisung thanks him over and over again, “So where were we” Jisung laughs, kissing Minho's cheek, “Take me on a date first” Minho rolls his eyes, “Anything for you my dear”
It turned out Jisung liked Minho more than just friends, and would make a strong relationship making the gang stronger and better than ever
Then one day they got caught the police held mercy on the nine, and cleared their records, told them to become big, and to never get into trouble or they would be in sling
They listened and sometimes life just works out that way, and if you're wondering they did make it big, becoming Stray Kids the kpop group no longer a gang, and they never got in trouble ever again
Minho and Jisung being the biggest gay kpop in the industry, support coming not just from each other but the fans as well
Nerves from stage fright will never beat gun fights, but they could easily get used to it
After all with the family altogether, nothing could come in their way, a strong bond they hold and will continue to hold for a very long time
They became sensations from speaking out about their struggles to being wise and knowledgeable about the world around them
Taking part in whatever they could to make the world a better place and possibly their smiles could make a difference in their fan’s days
They truly could and can like no one else, being so supportive or everyone they come across and it comes back to them just as equally or more so
(Sorry if it ended weird I was watching the new Cinderella and it made me go third point of view I'd fix it but I seems to me like the perfect end. I hope you enjoyed it and I wanted to get it out sooner but… I hope you had an amazing holiday, and a wonderful new year, for many more to come :)

gooood evening/morning/afternoon (i hope this sends the whole ask on my laptop it cut me off so i might have to send... 3 or 4 asks? idk let's see)
it's past midnight now and i just know i'm not gonna sleep anytime soon so i might as well spend an hour replying haha
i always feel kind of bad for falling out of love with groups when they stop doing the stuff i fell in love with in the first place but i guess it's natural to a certain extent. And it's not like i suddenly hate them or anything but it's always sad especially with bts for example just bc they were my first reason for getting into kpop and the ones with the biggest overarching plot line and stuff. and now i don't really keep up with them anymore for a lot of reasons.
but i also stopped keeping up with stray kids for like a year bc their music evolved into more edm style which i just didn't like but now i've come around to liking them again so who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ maybe these breaks aren't forever.
ohhhh yes the find you mv is also so GOOD. dramarama too. sometimes i think about how much of an influence music videos make on me liking a group/their music or Not and i have a crisis lmao
i mean tbz on rtk were like an unstoppable force it was Scary man dfhfh i'm kind of glad they didn't win kingdom too it just kind of felt like they had to try to outdo Themselves instead of the others the whole time and like... how many times on rtk and kingdom did they perform Reveal and The Stealer? like... 2 to 3 times each? ofc ur gonna run out of ideas at some point hhhh
I'm a sucker for vocal who can also rap rlly well ((and rappers who can also sing rlly well ofc)) and i wasn't expecting MY vocal to suddenly get a rap part i screamed dhfgjhf. The collab stage was pulling al the heart strings yea i thought about picking that one but i always crack up at the clothing hanger part idk why lmao
i mean it took me around 8 months to learn all of tbz names via osmosis so i totally get that u say ur never gonna remember them all
It's funny because 3 people have tried to get me into seventeen over the years and tried to get me to remember all the members so i had all this half-knowledge up in my brain before i started stanning this year. Scoups, Vernon, Woozi were the ones i was always able to recognise i think. and suddenly after a week or two i knew them all... that was unexpected and sudden
Your biggest group is 8 members? i'm trying to think of groups with more rn and i can't except for tbz, svt, sf9, nct... okay nevermind thought back to rtk and golden child, to1 and verirvery are also v big hm
oh yeah i start with "useless guides" too most of the time. Especially if i know no members yet. plus they're always helpful for a little group history that you don't get from watching just variety shows and stuff. my attention span is never long enough for behind videos of groups i'm not yet emotionally invested in lmao i think i need Constant Excitement and context to enjoy it and keep watching at first
I rlly hope my friend gets more into Oneus now i'll nudge her a bit in the right direction but right now she's only really been into bts for a few years and while she listens to other stuff she's not Invested Invested you know. But i also got her into bts in the first place so i have high hopes :D
OH i won't go into detail on my album collection in general bc i have a whole spreadsheet for that so you know it's an organised mess But yea! i have a few oneus albums! i have binary codem light us, lived and devil. but i bought three of them second hand so i dont have any pcs for lived and binary code sadly. but i'm very lucky with the pulls i did get!! i got a seoho/leedo combo TWICE and i pulled keonhee once but i traded for seoho with a friend uwu i can show you pictures later if you want
what about your collection? are you the type to collect pcs religiously? do u want to own all the versions of all the albums? do you have a cd player unlike a lot of kpop fans hahsah
i hope your week has been nice so far :>
~ santa
Oh wow the whole past midnight and not going to sleep thing sounds very familiar lol
Yeah, it’s just something that happens with everything really. Any kind of music, or tv series, games, books. Like you say, it’s natural.
Mx really do have some awesome videos and the mv’s do draw you in, it’s the first impression you get of a group usually so it makes sense that it’ll have an effect. The amount of times kpop has had me in crisis mode already is ridiculous haha
Honestly tbz would have done better in Kingdom if they hadn’t went so all out on RTK, they just couldn’t top themselves, they had nowhere left to go xD
Oh, Woozi! I forgot about him, I can definitely point him out in a crowd lol, he’s so fuckin tiny the poor bugger. It’s odd with remembering names and faces, sometimes it can take forever and then for other groups it’s nearly instant, god knows why.
I follow a few groups with more: SF9, Pentagon, Golcha (kind of), Exo (kind of), and Super Junior. I cannot name all of Golcha though. Exo I’d struggle with because of the constant lineup changes, SF9 and Pentagon are fine though and so is Suju (minus the 4 or 5? members that aren’t there anymore).
Give it a week or two and I’m sure she’ll be hooked!
Ooh that’s a nice wee collection you have, shame about the pc’s but it can be a pain getting albums second hand that include them. That is some nice luck you got with your pulls! That combo? Twice? Damn that is good, also pretty awesome that you could trade with your friend, always handy when you don’t share biases. That would be cool!
I... have an addiction when it comes to my collection. I don’t really collect the pc’s much, although I refuse to buy second hand without them, just because I hate the fact that people remove them to make more money rather than because they want to keep it. For Oneus I’ve got Blood Moon, Devil, Lived, Raise Us, and Binary Code. Both versions of BC and BM (not the theatre version) and then just the one of the others. I think 2 versions is my upper limit lol. Because I’m moving I had to pack up my collection so I’ll shove a picture of it in here or link it. And yes, yes I do, got a cd player and a turntable so I’m covered. I used to collect vinyl so I do have a collector streak in me which is a bit of a problem when your ult group is Shinee hahaha
By the way, what would you like to see for a wee gift gifset? Gives me an excuse to stop giffing Taemin for a day xD
Tumblr media
There it is, poor things all boxed up. I have added to it since though, I currently have the DVD version of Sayonara Hitori sitting on my shelf, fittingly, all alone. If you're interested to know what any of the other ones there are, or what pulls I got then let me know lol

A Beginner’s Guide to Collectible Card Trading
From Pokemon cards to baseball cards to Kpop photo cards, the collectible card community is large and very much alive. When I first started getting into card trading, I didn’t really know much about how it all worked, but luckily, over time, I’ve been able to get some guidance from fellow card traders and have had hands-on experience from past trades. Although my expertise is mainly from trading and collecting Kpop photo cards, this guide may be useful to all card collectors in general.
Things you will need:
greeting cards & envelopes
top loaders/cardboard
penny sleeves/card sleeves
tape
postage stamps
Once you’ve found someone to trade your card with (via social media or wherever), the first piece of advice I’d give is to check out their profile and ask for proof of their card in order to determine their credibility. Since there is no such thing as buyer/seller’s insurance within the trading community, you are relying on the goodwill of other traders to fulfill their promises. Looking through their profile allows you to see feedback from previous people they’ve traded with and will also give you a sense of how reliable the trader is. You can also ask them to take a video of the card to ensure they have it on hand. This also gives you a chance to see the true condition of the card.
After you’ve vetted their credibility, you can start packing your trade. Because collectible cards are only valuable in pristine conditions, you will need to pack it securely to ensure a safe transit. Here’s how:
Take your card and put it in a penny sleeve. This is to prevent any scratches & protect it from weather damages.
Stick the card into a top loader. If you do not have top loaders, you can also sandwich the card between two pieces of cardboard and tape the sides together.
Tape the top loader/cardboard onto the greeting card.
Write the recipient’s address as well as your return address on the envelope.
Stick the correct amount of postage stamps on it and mail it out!
If you are unsure how much postage your envelope requires, you can visit this website: https://nanagram.co/blog/how-many-stamps-usps/

Basic Guide for Tourists
My blog has a lot of tutorials that are aimed at foreigners coming to Japan either for a trip or for a more long-term stay. In this guide I’m going to compile all of my tutorials for easy access for tourists.
**This guide is focusing only on Tokyo, if you will be in any other part of Japan things will differ!
Airports There are two major airports in Tokyo, Haneda and Narita.
Haneda
Pros: Close to the Tokyo area (30min away), Kpop stars fly in here, small, a lot of bus options
Cons: Inconvenient flight times if you are flying from America, expensive to fly into if you’re flying from America, not many food options
Narita
Pros: Many food options, cheaper to fly into, a lot of flights/airlines fly into here, can fly to other parts of Japan easily, many trains to choose from, Narita Express
Cons: Big, crowded, far from the Tokyo Area (1 hour - 1 hour 30min away!), fewer bus options
Tutorials: Meeting me
Using Transportation In Japan, trains are the main form of transportation. You can use a ticket OR a train pass. A train pass is a lot more convenient so I recommend that.
A train pass is called an IC card. This stands for Integrated Chip and it is a plastic card that has a chip inside that works electronically with the train gates. You simply charge up money onto the card and touch it to the train gates. When you get off the train, you touch your card to the train gates and you are charged a certain amount based on the distance you travelled. If you do not have enough money on your card, it will beep and the light on the gate will turn red, meaning you need to put more money on the card.
There are two types of cards in Tokyo, a Suica and a Passmo. If you are a tourist, you can buy either one it doesn’t matter
Tutorials: Basic train guide, How to buy a train pass, Charging your train pass, Notice about ticket machines,  Riding the train with a ticket,  Guide to the Yamanote Line (tour guide by me!)
Suica/Passmo Like my explanation above, a Suica or Passmo card can be charged at a machine at the train station. This is the only place you can charge them! Here is a list of places you can use your card outside of the train station:
All convenience stores
Vending machines in that station/around the station (if they have a touch pad on them)
Uniqlo
Matsuya and some other chain ramen places
Most major malls/stores (Sunshine City in Ikebukuro accepts IC card payments)
Money As you probably know, Japan uses Yen. You can exchange money at the airport or at an exchange machine (some hotels have them!). Most major stores in Japan accept credit cards (even foreign cards!). Unfortunately, a lot of restaurants including ramen places, only take cash so make sure you have some cash! Don’t worry about carrying lots of cash, Japan is very safe.
**You can only charge your train pass/suica with cash!
Tutorials: Using cash in Japan, using a credit or debit card in Japan, exchanging foreign currency via machine,
Convenience stores They are convenient and they’re everywhere. People have their different preferences, but ultimately they all sell the same type of thingsl. Hot food, sandwiches, bento, toiletries, ice cream, yea.
Note: If you want any of the hot food in the cases at the register, you will need to ask for it specifically. For example if you want “Pizza Steamed bun (Piza man)” you will need to tell the cashier at the register “Piza man onegaishimasu”. In most cases you can just point to whatever you want and the cashier will know.
Tutorials: Convenience store basics
Restaurants There are a lot of restaurants in Japan. Most menus have pictures, so don’t worry if you can’t read the Japanese. You can just point to what you want! Also no tipping in Japan.
American Fast Food
Tastes different in Japan! Super cheap and actually pretty yummy! You buy your food at the counter and bring it to your seat (no waiter/waitresses).
Taco Bell (Shibuya), McDonald’s, Burger King, Wendy’s, KFC, Freshness Burger, Mos Burger, Carl’s Jr.
Japanese Fast Food
Pretty yummy, really salty, and super cheap! A lot of tourists choose this option instead of an American fast food place. Watch out though, because some Japanese fast food restaurants are really small and have poor seating options. You typically buy food at a ticket vending machine and then wait for a server to come to your table and give you your food.
Matsuya, Yoshinoya, Sukiya, Nakau, Chikara Meshi
Cafe/Casual dining
Typically only sells desserts and drinks. These are good places to just sit and do homework or just enjoy the atmosphere.
Starbucks, Doutor, Excelsior Cafe, Pearl Lady, Bagel & Bagel
Theme Cafes/dining
More expensive than a normal cafe because they typically have a theme. Seating varies from place to place, but usually they have a few seats. The biggest con is on weekends and holidays these types of places are really crowded.
Moomin Stand (bubble tea!), Milky Way Cafe (Ikebukuro), Kamen Rider Cafe (a restaurant too!)
Family Restaurant
A good sit-down restaurant with low prices. The food quality is usually decent and often they serve Japanese and American food so if you have people in your group that have different tastes, a family restaurant is a good option! These restaurants run on a buzzer system where you hit a button to call your server and order food. The check is usually played on your table and you go up to the counter when you’re finished to pay.
Gusto, Saizeriya, Royal Host, Ku’aina Burger, Italian Tomato, Big Boy
BBQ
A special type of restaurant where you cook at your table. Unfortunately you need to cook all the food yourself, but the servers can help you if you need it. These types of restaurants often do things all-you-can-eat style so you pay a flat rate.
Gyu-Kaku, Guts Soul
Formal dining
Really expensive, but the service is great! These types of restaurants usually require a reservation in advanced.
Swallowtail Butler Cafe
Tutorials: Guide to restaurants, Ordering via vending machine ticket
Enjoying Fandom If you are visiting Japan and reading this guide, you are most likely interesting in enjoying some fandom stuff here! There are many ways to enjoy fan culture in Japan, but keep in mind most of the fandom stuff is not in English nor is there much English support.
Tutorials: Supporting your faves in Japan (Kpop), Ticketing in Japan, Buying tickets to events via Ticketcamp, Buying/Trading tickets via Twitter, Going to the movies

How to make a kpop trading/selling proof !
If you're used to trading on instagram, you'll know all about proof stories and proof highlights. As stories and highlights aren't possible when using Tumblr, this has to be done using tags.
The example used is NOT a real proof, and has since been deleted.
Step 1: how to post proof for someone
You can simply make a post that shows the mail that arrived in a picture. In the post, make sure to write who the proof is for in BIG letters! This way, if someone were to repost it who's not the person the proof was made for, it's very obvious.
Also make sure to watermark the image OVER the photocards, so someone else can't just reuse your image for fake proof
At the bottom, add a hashtag that does NOT include the word proof. This is important later.
Tumblr media
Once the post is up, send it to the person the proof is for, as they don't get notified when mentioned in a post with their @ (at the moment)
Tumblr media
Step 2: How to repost the proof
In Tumblr you can reblog, so you can simply click reblog on the proof post.
When doing so, make sure to add your own proof hashtag from your diretory. Most people would use your username + proof as 1 tag.
Tumblr media
Step 3: how to prevent someone else from reusing your proof
Now that the proof is reblogged by the seller, the original poster who received the mail can lock reblogs, so nobody else can reblog it to claim it as their own.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
After locking reblogs the reblog button should be gray like this:
Tumblr media
Since prior to you locking it anyone can repost it, it's smart to first let the seller know through DM that it arrived, and agree on a time to post the proof. This way the window of time where it is up for reblogging is as short as possible.
Important stuff to keep in mind
Someone else can just reuse your image of arrived mail if you don't watermark it properly. I recommend using a watermark that states both your own username, and the username of who it is for. Do this by writing proof by: your username, and proof for: the other person's username
As mentioned before, agree on a time and date through dms before you post the proof, so the other person can quickly reblog it and you can lock it from being reblogged further by people who's proof it isn't.
Don't use the word proof in the tags if you are posting the proof for someone else. Otherwise if someone wants to check out your proof as a seller, the proof you posted for other people will also show up.
The same goes for the caption. In the example I used "thank you @" , but you can also write "for @" or anything of the sort. As long as it doesn't include the word proof, and does mention the person it's for. Cause when you do include the word proof it will still show up in the search on your own account when people wanna look for your proofs. I realised this later, sorry for the confusion.
If you as a buyer want to check other people's proof, make sure you check thoroughly; is it a real reblog? Was it meant to be reblogged by this person? Much like how proof can be faked on instagram, it can be done on Tumblr as well, so don't blindly believe it to be real and watch out for fake proofs
You can also just link to your instagram proofs
Since this method isn't the most secure in the sense it takes a bit more effort than a simple Instagram story, you can of course also use Instagram for your proofs. This is however the method to be used when trading/selling to someone who does not have Instagram and would only post proofs on Tumblr for you

A Guide to the Mind of a Kpop fan: Economics
I was introduced to Korean culture from a young age and it has and will continue to have a positive impact in my daily life. I was curious about the economics behind why Korean culture is becoming more and more wide spread and mainstream. Therefore, I started looking into my recent activities that are influenced by my interests in Korean culture.
Kpop Concerts
Tumblr media
The last couple years, Western music has begun to embrace international cultures such as Kpop music. Korean boy bands and girl groups travel all the way to the United States to perform live for their international fans. A couple months ago, I decided to go to a DAY6 concert with my friends.
These concert tickets are considered private goods, which are excludable and rival in consumption. The moment the ticket sales window open, DAY6 fans are competing with eachother to obtain a ticket, therefore it is possible to prevent a fan from getting a ticket. I am the only one that benefits from the purchase because I paid for it. If this was a free, open concert, then the concert tickets would be considered a public good since anyone can go and someone’s attendance does not decrease another person’s chance of attending. It would be neither excludable nor rival in consumption.
There is a larger population of DAY6 fans now, so there were two LA concert dates to meet the demand of the buyers. Live band performances are becoming more popularized, and the tastes of music goers are changing. Furthermore, the number of buyers increased, in which the quantity demanded in the market was higher for each price. Therefore, the demand for DAY6’s tickets increased to 31 concert dates compared to last year, where they only had 18.
Another interesting aspect of Kpop concerts are the different ticket options to purchase.
Tumblr media
The 5 different ticket options to choose from directly relate to Principle 4, in which “people respond to incentives”. I always find myself trying to make a rational decision by comparing the costs and benefits and respond to the incentives. SubKulture Entertainment, the concert-organizing agency, incentivizes the purchase of more expensive tickets by giving signed albums and adding fan-artist interaction opportunities such as High-Five giving sessions. Also cheaper tickets are often seated further away from the stage and higher up in the balcony area. The most expensive tickets are often areas right next to or in front of the stage. There is also a limited number of each ticket type. Therefore, the demand for higher priced tickets increased, and as a result, P1 and P2 (the 2 most expensive tickets) sold out first, within a day or 2. Not only are fans able to get a close view of the stage, they can even take home merchandise and rare fan interaction opportunities. When examining the opportunity costs and trade-offs, I was deciding between purchasing the P3 tickets or P2 tickets. My budget for the concert is about $120. The opportunity cost of the P2 is $69 and the opportunity cost of P3 is $9. I was going to buy P2 because of the lower opportunity costs, but I also had to consider the less obvious indirect effects.
1. I am also given a chance to see and interact with my favorite artists as well.
2. They also probably would not be having another concert anytime soon.
3. P3 tickets are on the balcony which is a little far and P2 tickets are in the general pit area (which is much closer!)
4. Social cost of my friends planning to buy the P2 tickets anyway
After much consideration, I decided to purchase the P2 tickets and I was satisfied with my purchase!
Korean Skin Care
Tumblr media
I am always in awe at how clean and healthy Korean TV personalities/actresses’s skin are. Korean skin products are often known to be comprised of natural ingredients. I became curious about the effects of using Korean skin care and cosmetics for myself.
So, I tried finding some Korean skin products to try in order to improve my own skin routine.
I started going to the Face Shop to buy face masks. Whenever I was getting low on face masks at home, I would still buy some even when they were not on sale. At the Face Shop, they had a sale of buying 10 face masks and receiving them for 50% the original price.
Tumblr media
However, that day I went to make my purchase at the store, I actually received a consumer surplus of $27.50. Consumer surplus can be described as the difference between the amount the buyer is willing to pay and the amount the buyer actually pays. The amount I was willing to pay was $5.50(10 face masks)=$55. However, I actually paid for $2.75(10 face masks)= $27.50. I benefited from a real bargain by making this purchase. I was more eager to buy the face masks since the sale price was 50% lower than my “willingness to pay” price. Otherwise, I would not have gained that consumer surplus if I did not buy anything. Using face masks are easy to implement into one’s skin care and many of my friends prefer buying face masks. The policymakers, in this case The Face Shop, are respecting the preferences of consumers like me and that leads to an increased demand in the market as well.
Food
Tumblr media
Watching Korean entertainment shows has garnered public interest in Korean cuisine too. The most popular Korean food that has taken over the United States is Korean Barbeque (KBBQ), especially all you can eat KBBQ. Every time I saw a Kpop star deliciously eat freshly grilled meat, I start craving some meat too.
So, I found myself encountering price discrimination whenever I go eat Korean BBQ, which is a normal good (income and quantity demanded are proportional/directly related to each other), with my friends. All you can eat KBBQ restaurants often charge different prices to different customers by charging each a price they are willing to pay rather than offering just one price. A KBBQ place that I often go to, which I also went to a couple days ago, Red Castle, offers 2 options: Menu 1 which is $13.99 and Menu 2 which is $16.99.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The menus are generally the same, except Menu 2 offers a couple more and slightly higher quality meat. College students like me are more willing to pay for Menu 1 in order to save money. Meanwhile, people who have income-making jobs are more willing to pay for Menu 2. Both menus attract certain customers and Red Castle is able to increase its profit. It is difficult to observe perfect price discrimination because the monopolist, which would be the KBBQ restaurants like Red Castle, will never know exactly what cost customers are willing to pay for all you can eat KBBQ in order to obtain the entire surplus in the form of profits. Furthermore, Menu 2 could be considered to have a higher income elasticity of demand since a more luxurious meal is not a necessity and people can be satisfied without it if consumers’, like college students, incomes are not high. The percentage change in quantity demanded would be much larger than the percentage change in income.
Much of Korean culture displayed in music, fashion, drama/movies, cuisine has garnered a significant amount of attention amongst my peers. No wonder South Korea’s tourism industry is growing every year. I never thought my interest in Korean culture and Kpop would be interconnected with economics. It made me realize that economics is intertwined in many aspects of our lives and we are unconsciously always making economic decisions.  Economics has definitely helped me make logical purchases and become a smarter Kpop/Korean culture consumer!

How to make your selling/trading/go posts
And PLEASE use the read more bar when making your posts
This is fairly easy but I wanted to set up a little guide anyway just to be thorough and explain everything.
Step 1: title the post
Here, but stuff like wts/wtt or maybe wtt/nfs, the group name, ect.
Step 2: Add the pictures
Easily done as well. So far everything is just like how to is on Instagram
Step 3: add the "read more" bar
Tumblr media
I want everyone to remember this! Posts with entire captions are long, especially compared to Instagram. If you don't add the read more bar, it'll always show the full caption.
Adding the bar AFTER the pictures and the title is enough for people who are interested to see if they want to click on read more or not. Below read more you can add any other info needed.
In the example above you can see I put the read more bar below the pictures as well.
Step 4: write the rest of the post just like how you'd write a caption in Instagram
This step is self-explanatory
Step 5: add your tags
In Instagram you'd do this in the caption or a comment, but for Tumblr there is a specific space for tags.
Make sure to put both your directory tags and regular trading tags!
Example:
Tumblr media
Here I use my directory tags, as well as general tags
That's all really! Thank you for reading! Feel free to comment or dm if you have questions

How to use Tumblr! A general guide for the kpop bst community
Okay so chances are many people migrating to Tumblr from other bst platforms have never used Tumblr before, so here are some basics
This guide will only cover basics, using the app as a reference point. Features that are different on desktop exist so keep that in mind
How to make a post
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The bottom bar has a few buttons. From left to right that is:
Aa: change style of typing. You can switch between 3 sizes, a few fonts, bulletin points, numbered list, and text that's "tabbed forward".
Link input
Gif input
Image/video input
Audio input (spotify and soundcloud are supported)
Polls
"read more" selection
The 2 people: community settings. Here you can set your post as NSFW. I doubt you'll ever need it in the trading community, but you never know.
Once you've written your post you can post it in multiple ways
Tumblr media
If you click on the menu there will be a few options: (mine are in Dutch do bare with me for a second as I translate)
Tumblr media
The first 5 are a selection on how to post
Post immediately
Add to queue
Plan specific date and time to post
Save as draft
Post privately (only you can see it)
Once you choose one of these 5, the button that was originally used to post immediately will change to whatever option you selected.
Below that you can also choose who is allowed to reblog your posts, who can Blaze is (blaze means paying so it shows up on random people's feed like an ad), and lastly mention a source in the form of a link. These mostly won't be useful for you here.
How to navigate the app
You made your posts, now you wanna see those by other people.
Tumblr media
Below you see me using the search function. When looking up Loona, you can see it is possible to filter your results. Here I can choose to sort by popularity, or MOST RECENT! God I missed this, Instagram take notes
You can also choose what types of posts you want to see, and if you search by popularity you can also choose most popular of all time, most popular in the last year, month, week, day, ect.
Tumblr media
In the bottom bar (below the tags) you can click Blaze if you want to pay to advertise a post. Below that you can click notes to see who liked/reblogged a post, the arrow to share it, the speech bubble to comment, the 2 arrows to reblog, and then like.
This is the VERY basic of Tumblr!
Feel free to comment questions if you have any. I'd love to help people out in understanding this app so our community can use it as best as possible.
