Straight up based my entire dnd character of many years off of this exact concept. No matter what setting or campaign, he always begins as a some sort of forge apprentice who wants to help others through his inventions.

I love my little guy who believes that we should all do what is right and good, even if that means breaking some laws that are not in the best interest of the people. He has a HAMMER called JUDGEMENT that, in its final form, can cast high level Thunderwave or makes him RESISTANT TO ALL DAMAGE AND GIVES ALLIES +50 HP WHEN KHAL BECOMES THE ICON OF MERCY DO YOU UNDERSTAND HE HAS NEVER USED THE THUNDERWAVE DO YOU GET IT

Something about Zac Oyama's characters and the undercurrent of quiet gentleness and goodness in all of them. Even when they're not particularly 'nice' or sometimes straight up little shits still their motivations ultimately being helpful for others. Something about their lack of solid ambition or grand, world changing goals but instead just being a guy who most of the time just wants to hangout with friends and do some cool stuff maybe. Something about how they don't try to particularly try to take the center stage but almost always being in an exact place they should be when they are needed and doing what needs to be done and that being good. Recently I reinstalled Stardew Valley and some basic mods to get ready for the UPDAAAATE that I am very excited about.

I haven't visited this game since 2022, so it's been a little while! I peeked at my old files and it was great getting to visit my little default Audlund beach farm again, with its little cafe and fish pools and stuff. <3

And then I remembered my other save file. The Kouth Farm was the one I made to play that cute Replace the Wizard With Emet-Selch mod on, which ended up being really fun. Witness precious memories such as That Time Emet-Selch Enjoyed His Evil Black Licorice During A Movie About a Sad Starving Family In Winter And Then Fell Asleep:

Fast forward to now, when I opened Kouth Farm without the mod installed, (just to see what would happen) and I got a little message saying "invalid content was removed to prevent a crash".

and the only reminder of Twilip and Emet's life together is a tiny rose on an end table--Emet is gone, Emet's room is gone, it's like he was never there except for that one tiny thing.
