Visible lashes (looks more like winged eyeliner but whatever) = younger, less visible = older, from childhood to early 20s the lashes are more visible, at 24 the lashes start being less visible + from childhood to early 20s, the eyes are depicted as bigger, around 25 or so the eyes are depicted as smaller

Exception to the eyelashes/eyeliner rule: Shidou — 29 (but that's mostly cause he's a Pretty Boy™️ - even Jackalope thought so)

The overall roundness of the face too, from Amane to Mahiru, their face shapes are more round, at Mikoto we start to see his face shape being ever so slightly less round. Most noticeable then is Kazui, with second most noticeable being Shidou (but again, his face might be retaining some of the roundness because he's meant to be depicted as handsome and youth is seen as sign of beauty. So if you're a fan of Needy Streamer Overload, you may like to know that the developers of NSO, WSS Playground, are also working on other games! Specifically, YunYun Denpa Syndrome, or YunYun Syndrome?! Rhythym Psychosis! [WARNING: LONG POST APPROACHING, DO YOU WISH TO ENTER?]

The English Trailer

Now, the games overview is that you play as a Hikikomori or a shut in who has severe brainrot over Denpa Songs. It's also advertised as a rythym adventure game coming out later this year! The written overview on the trailer and the steam page is "This is a rhythm-adventure game where you play as a hikikomori (shut-in) girl who’s high on denpa songs. Become Yunyun-brained and lose all self-control to anonymously post on social media and destroy the world with your Yunyun brain rot."

Now, if that sounds interesting, let's talk about the characters! First of all, who we are, aka the player insert, Qtie!

Qtie is our player character, and the Shut-In in question. From the trailer, we can infer that she got into listening to Denpa Music from Yunyun, who we'll briefly talk about in a moment. She is a shut in who gets high on denpa music, and is an anonymous poster online, shouting out her love for Yunyun. Now, we can infer a few things here. First of all, the game, like NSO has a wide variety of endings. With the snippets we see in the game trailer, we can infer that Qtie will have a HUGE impact on the internet/yunyun fandom (i'll be calling them the yundom for the rest of this post) , as we see news articles that roughly describe a 'yunyun addiction' and the title even says 'yun yun syndrome'. We can infer then that she could have a huge affect on the fandom, and the real world because of her actions. According to the Steam Page, apparently she had some traumatic events that happened in real life, that she has become a shut in and has become 'fuzzy in the head'. I don't want to refer to her as psychotic throughout this post, since I feel like that is offesive and giving her a diagnosis without even having the game yet seems wrong. Next, let's briefly go over Yun Yun.

According to the Steam Page and trailer, Yunyun is a fictional character that Qtie may or may not be hallucinating talking to her through the screen. She is described as 'an angelic devil' which could have many implications. It is also said that 'Whilst the truth is unknown, most likely, she is just a figment of Qtie's imagination. It's joever for her.'

First of all, to the translation/writing team, hats off to you for including the words 'rizz' and 'joever' into this already. Oh god. Now...an angelic devil...she will more than likely have a huge effect on Qtie, and the endings will probably envolve her and the yundom in some way. So far the media she is from is unknown, but based on her design, it's probably an anime or manga of some sort.

Now, a brief overview of the songs! Aka, a crash course in Denpa!

Now what is 'Denpa'? Well, Denpa is a music genre described by their steam page and google as a catchy, strange sound. Think of the NSO soundtrack and its respective insert song(s), Internet Overdose and Yamero. It usually has a high female voice behind the songs too! A spotify playlist by the sounds of spotify is linked here if you would like to listen to it yourself! I would reccomend checking out the fandom page on denpa if you want to see more.

Now the songs! First of all, thanks to the youtube user who found all these in the comments of the trailer oh g o d. All these songs are great in their own ways, so go listen to them if you want to train for the yunyun overdose! Now let's look at...the gameplay! And also why nso players will love this game!

So far, we know this is a game where you post online about yunyun and her greatness, and this is where NSO comes into full effect. We have stats, different abilities, and other such things just like NSO! The rythym part in of itself is us posting on our sns of choice (presumabably twitter??? maybe 4-chan?? unsure. probably twitter.) as we, the yunyun-pilled, make other yunyun-pilled. mm. cult.

Overall, the gameplay is NSO, but also...a RHYTHYM GAME. This is very big!

TLDR: Yun Yun Syndrome?! Rythym Psycosis is a game a lot like NSO but also a rhythym game at the same time, so you should check it out!

I've been trying to find the right way to word this for a few days, but it's a really big pet peeve of mine when discussions of Fuuta and Kotoko and them as a duo that's narratively foiling is watered down to just their crime and comparing which of their murders are more justifiable, which usually leads to the same conclusion of "Kotoko is more right and completely justified in her murder, Fuuta was wrong and bad for his murder, #girlboss #slayhimqueen". And to put it bluntly, I find this conclusion to not only be lacking in nuance, but does a massive disservice to not only 0310 as a duo, but them as respective characters as well, and is missing a huge piece of why they are so fascinating The thing about this argument is that, to an extent, it's right. Kotoko killed an adult man who kidnapped and abused a child with the intent to kill her, and that child is now saved thanks to Kotoko. Fuuta helped lead a harassment campaign against a middle school girl who did barely anything to deserve it (not that anyone deserves to be harassed, but you get what I'm saying), and it led to that girl committing suicide. When you look at their murders side-by-side from that description alone, Kotoko's does seem like the more virtuous murder compared to Mr. Twitter User over here. But that is exactly the point. There is a very good post by @weather-cluddy and very good discussion below it detailing what I'm about to talk about, but to put it shortly: Fuuta is portrayed as a lot more physically violent and unsympathetic than Kotoko is in their MVs. Both are portrayed as physically violent, but the way it is framed through their lense and portrayed to the audience differs from the other. Fuuta is not just portrayed as violent and brutish, he is portrayed as pathetic. Kotoko is not just portrayed as violent and brutish, she is portrayed as cool while doing it (which I mean, she is cool, but that's not the point. Well it is the point but-) Fuuta's violence is aimed towards an innocent child, so it's deemed as repulsive and unjustified. Kotoko's violence is aimed towards a child kidnapper so it's deemed as justified and girlboss. Fuuta is portrayed as a wannabe hero, Kotoko is portrayed as the long-awaited hero. I could go on, but I think you get my point. Fuuta is portrayed in a much worse and harder to sympathize with light than Kotoko is, which also highlights how they themselves feel about their murders (Fuuta's guilt and Kotoko's elation). There is a very big reason as for why Fuuta was not forgiven in Trial 1 meanwhile Kotoko was the most forgiven. Because Fuuta's murder is generally thought to be worse. But here's the kicker: I think people are missing the point by putting focus onto which murder is 'worse', because that's not what makes them so comparable. What makes them comparable is the fact that they share a mindset. A mindset of vigilante justice, of a hero complex, of eliminating the bad people in the world in a faux revolution. And that mindset is exactly the one that got them into this place in the first place. And that's why it irks me when people put so much focus into deciding which murder is worse / who is more unjustified, especially since the majority of people I see this from are Kotoko fans. Your girl is literally doing the same thing you're criticizing Fuuta for in this very prison, and you aren't giving her the same amount of flack for it !!! Like- I don't know. I think putting Kotoko on a pedestal of being "morally better" than Fuuta is not only a really boring way to see things, but it misses a big piece of their characters and why they're so often paired up in the first place.

shit dude... every single milgram fan/voter is a fuuta kajiyama.

God we sure are... I mean, even ignoring the obvious parallels to like twitter user behaviour in the fandom, viewing Milgram itself as a game when the intention is that all of the prisoners are in a way stand-ins for real people directly reflects Fuuta's attitudes towards the people he persecuted as part of his online crusade. We too are cogs in this "game" with individual responsibility (as Fuuta was given due to him being in Milgram) and yet also part of a mob deciding which of these people who have committed social faux pas and actual crimes deserve our attention, condemnation, or support. We are all Fuuta Kajiyama, because in the same way that Kotoko directly parallels the extremes of "Milgram the System"'s ideology, Fuuta parallels "Milgram the Audience"'s weaker, more sheltered and watered down version of that same system.

ive seen a lot of people still not quite caught up on why everyone voted fuuta guilty in the first trial and not kotoko — they both took justice into their own hands, and, arguably, fuuta’s crime was manslaughter and not intentional, whereas kotoko knew what she was doing. it doesn’t make sense why a man who indirectly killed someone could be seen as unforgivable, but a woman who attacked someone with the intent of murder could be forgiven — unless, of course, the audience was (& debatably still is) biased.

the diference between fuuta and everyone else, i think, is that unlike the other cases we do not relate to or empathise with the murderer. we relate to the victim. i imagine most people on this site have, or at least know someone who has, a learning diaability; or had an abortion; or dealt with grief. (these given examples make haruka and yuno and shidou more forgivable.) your normal, average, everyday tumblrina cannot relate to child abusers or cult leaders. (these given examples make kotoko and amane more forgivable.)

however, fuuta’s victim kind of hits close to home. anyone on the internet can make a stupid decision, and anyone on the internet can have a callout post made on them, and anyone on the internet can kill themselves because of the resulting harassment. it’s a very much us vs. them attitude social media users take, and this situatuon is no different —“people like us fear for our safety on the regular because of people like him.”

we are more focused on what fuuta did than how he went about it, or if the victim deserved it, or if he deserves a guilty sentenceat all. thats bias for you. one billion trillion explosions💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
