this is like . my interpretation of him I guess? the last image is kosmotis pre . yknow but I have a lot of weird headcanons for him

1. I think like if he ever became "good" or I guess had a sort of redemption I like the idea that he was originally blonde and that his hair was originally like softer and wavier

2. I REALLY like the idea of him having a kind of professor venomous treatment of like being buff and tan as kosmotis and then being a grey freak as pitch (but also still attractive bc hudhfbgngnff)

3. honestly a big inspiration for his design that I give him is a fic I read every time I heard them describe his fit I was like . yes I am Thinking About This

4. my design for him has like a weeee bit of Slavic influence bc of the use of the word tsar idk its very vague but like

5. I gave him eyebrows sorry I just think the funky brows fit him idk

anyways pls accept my offering of my pitch design I'm so nervous to post this for some reason but I'm super happy with the art I've done of him yayayayay

theres this scene where Pitch Black got shot and he became a younger version of himself (Kosmotis Pitchiner) and hes just heavily bleeding and a bit out of it, and like. he just has a gun?? or like a cross bow, and he shoots whatever shot him earlier, effectively taking it down and now everyone needs to deal with an injured and armored Kozmotis without knowing its Kozmotis.

I finally started reading William Joyce’s Guardians of Childhood series. Just now finished with Book 1 and... I never knew I needed North the Bandit Prince until now.

The little backstory for Pitch was great; I stopped and reread it a couple times so that I could better picture it in my head, like a little movie. Did that with a couple of scenes in the book actually, it’s just so good!

I, also, never knew I needed two epic battles with Pitch taking over and controlling both a bear and an almost unstoppable robot, respectively.

Katherine and Nightlight? Are absolute treasures and must be Protected, At All Costs.

I’m going to draw some of this at some point. Maybe I’ll stream it on Twitch.

It’s late and I didn’t want to draw these myself at the moment (I will later though), but here are some Hallows~

Top Left: Hallow as a forgotten dolly, which is an AU I never expanded upon before. Hallow was an intricate cloth doll given to the young noble Kosmotis Pitchiner Black. Kosmotis played with him for ages, even to the point of much wear and tear (the rose choker hides the stitches of getting his head sewn back on). Like many other toys, he was forgotten and eventually given away, but his loyalty to little Pitch Black burned on and on. The doll lived to return to his King, who he rarely lets out of his sight. (The creepiness I aim for here is not the threat of violence but the eerie and constant presence of his watchful body.)

Top Right: Hallow concealing his appearance in a supernatural school AU that I share with two good friends of mine. He is very intelligent, diligent, and friendly, but his piercings, tattoos, hair, and overall figure and demeanor make many students assume the worst about him. When their comments and bullying affect him too much, he dyes his hair and conceals his piercings, tattoos, and eye color. He stops speaking to almost everyone, never answers questions out loud if it’s not required, and ultimately loses his friendly disposition. This is made worse by teachers who begin to praise him for “finally presenting himself respectably” and this leaves him terribly bitter and depressed.

Bottom Left: Regular Hallow, happy and delightful Hallow! Lover of sweets and cats.

Bottom Right: [Kind of] Hallow’s monster form. In this state, he is primal and bloodthirsty, and able to destroy the living things near him. He has a thick white snake’s body from the waist down, easily filling up half of a bedroom when moving around. His skin is chalk white and patched with scales. His arms are bone-thin with large hands and spindly, sharp-nailed fingers. Sharp fangs drip bloody venom from a split-cheek grin that’s almost a grimace. His pupils actually become pentagrams instead of pinpricks, but they continue to drip inky black fluid. He can only be pulled out of this state with a strong enough emotional connection to a person trying to get through to him. Without this connection, he will stay in this form until he is either sated or fatally wounded.

Watching Rise of the Guardians again and I can't decide who I feel more sorry for: Jack or Pitch

Also, the parallels between them are wonderful because the entire time you watch the movie you get the sense that Pitch is what Jack could've become.

Christmas Cookies

Once they had left, the Tsarina picked up the tea and the table the General had knocked over. "You've changed, Kosmotis, and I fear it is not for better."

The General scowls, "And you find it surprising?"

"I find it worrying. You have suffered a great tragedy, and I know-"

"What do you know?! You've never lost a child!"

"And I pray to the heavens I never do!" She shouted back, startling the General. He sat down, putting his face in his hands. He had not meant to loose his temper, but seeing the Tsar leave with his own child had stung.

"Nor do I..." he whispers softly. The Tsarina knelt down and pulled his hands into her's.

"I know this is hard for you, and this wound is fresh, which is why we want you to stop and rest, let yourself be at ease before you do anything rash." The general pulled her hand away. 

"I know you mean well, but I cannot." His replied with a defiance he knew he could only show in private. She sighed, standing up fully. 

"I do not wish to order you."

"Then don't."

Gah sorry I've been so bloody inactive on this account. I can barely play on my other ones cause I keep getting distracted in rl. 

Anyway this is an excerpt from something I'll most likely never flesh out into being, so you get this cute little picture. I really doubt this happens often, seeing as both parties tend to do things their own way.

I wasn't gonna post this but at some point I just though "why not?"

As a whole, I not even sure if Kozmotis was married or not, I mean, GoC is technically a children's story, is likely he was married to have a daughter, but still is an assumption really (I like the the fanon theory that Sera is adopted)

Is just that, there is never mention of his wife or anything besides Seraphina and his job, only a photo of her on the locket and the fearlings using only her voice. It make me think that any kind of romance they had probably was likely to be a cute yet simple, little love story
