It had been month’s since the incident in the park. Thanks to Delta, Haruka managed to heal fine though her memories of that day were hazy. In fact even trying to remember caused her to have panic attacks so she had stopped trying. Besides, her biggest mission at hand was the same as always. Finding Shio. 

After weeks of forced recovery from Delta. Haru resumed her routes and flier hanging. Though she still managed to get into trouble, the older girl was always there to aid her. At this point in time the bandaged girl almost trusted the wolf girl. Though there was no doubt in her mind that she was just hindering Delta and being nothing more than a nuance. Being cared for so much by someone else was actually starting to make her increasingly uneasy. Like things were too good to be true. When was it going to come crushing down on her? 

Sato had no trouble snaking her way out of Delta’s questioning about that night, insisting that she knew nothing while managing to feign even the slightest worry for Haru and her situation. Though in her mind she wished nothing more than to dispose of Haru’s existence forever. But she knew she couldn’t be inept because her happiness with Shio was on the line.  

However, everything was bound to come crushing down eventually. Perhaps it was time. Time for Sato to pay for her sins. Perhaps that is why on that night after a long shift at work she arrived to her high rise apartment to an unlocked door and an empty space. No sight of Shio at all...

Sailor Moon x Akiko Kosaka MUSIC HISTORY

DAY 1

Here’s everyone from the first of two days of classic myu magic!!! They disclosed the song list and digging up twitter I found reports on who performed what! Mostly they kept each person with their own character songs but there were a couple of new arrangements (not to mention some of the actors never sang together before since they were from different musicals)...

Welcome to another Song of the Week! This week I’m winding up January with a Miyukimoon song, Vampir’s solo “Koshuuki” from Transylvania no Mori.

I find the commentaries kind of annoying too. You also get them in earlier omake videos (mostly done by Mochizuki Yuuta, who narrates a lot of the early omakes), but it doesn't get super annoying until the Marinamoon era. The early ones, with Nao, Yuuka, and Marina, aren't so bad; the banter between Nao and Yuuka is actually kinda cute, like during the "Jingle Bells" performance at the Black Lady K Fankan, or when they have a minor fangirl freakout over the appearance of "Koshuuki" in another fankan. The Starlights*Ryuusei Densetsu Fankan video narration, done by Marina and Yoda Shuusuke, is pretty good too. I think the ones that get annoying are the ones with Marina, Manami, and Mai, only cause I don't think they realize how loud they're actually being.

I wonder whether it IS something you can turn on and off on the DVDs or not. I imagine you can't on VHS. Hmm...

I know one of the new myus comes with a commentary on the DVD - I think it's Petite Étrangère? I wonder what that's like.

30 Days of Sera Myu: Day 6

6) Least favourite thing about Myu

I have absolutely no idea XD I suppose if I had to pick something, I’d say the inconsistency of the specials. For a start, the fan kanshas only began to be released consistently and fully (well just about) once Marina’s run started, before then we’d only got them occasionally at the start of Fumina’s run until towards the end of Miyuki’s run, and if they weren’t released fully then clips of it were included in the guides or omakes. Also, the Shin Densetsu Kourin Fan Kansha was released as the omake, what is up with that?? Makes no sense why they would do that.

Another thing that I don’t like is the commentaries over the specials, because they just disrupt the viewing of what’s going on on stage for all of us watching. For example, Nao’s Galaxia Gorgeous. For most of it, Marina and Yuuko were talking over it! And then half way through, it cuts to Yuuka’s Just Love Wasurerarenai, which Marina and Yuuko also talk over. Why do that??!! I understand that the commentaries were a nice thing to add in, so, why didn’t they make them optional? You know, you buy films on DVD, then on the special features you can choose to listen to a commentary from the director or something. Why not do the same for the Myu specials?? I don’t know XD this felt kind of ranty haha

After hearing from Aster about why happened with Marigold and Cherry, Camellia was adamant about believing her, assuming it was her wild imagination or the girl was trying to start a problem. Either way Camellia found himself heading towards Cherry's room to investigate and sort things out himself, completely unprepared for what he was going to find.

Cherry was alone in her room, sharpening a blade to her liking as she was only thinking about what Marigold ordered her to do. To kill Sylvatica and Camellia. It was simply perfect, so devious and rejuvenating to her soul. But as soon as she stepped out of her room, everything felt so easy. Her prey came directly to her and it was brilliant. “You make this so easy.... Camellia.” she said, laughing to herself.

Aster hadn't seen her father around for a full two days. It was worrying, she was worried about him. The child was used to life in the sanitarium. She knew where to find food and she had made a friend or two so she was capable to an extent. If she needed Camellia, she would find him easily but for the past days she couldn't. Something told her she needed to search deeper. Much further into the forest than she was used to going. The thought of straying too far from safety was scary but the girl wanted to know her father was okay. With each step she placed on the dirt and leave covered floor, she would call out for him. Her voice didn't carry far, she was just a child but she tried her best while hoping it would reach the person she was searching for.

“Sharing equals caring.” (Pick a muse any muse, just not Camellia cause he's still in his hole)

Lindou had been in the middle of baking a batch of chocolate chip cookies in the kitchen. It had been an endeavor since it’d been long since she had done so. Eventually, she took the tray from the oven, finding the product to be slightly overcooked than the golden brown that she wanted. Sighing, she waited for them to cool so she could try one for herself.

Soon enough, the little girl called Ran joined in the kitchen and she spotted the tray on the counter. “But they’re not cool yet... You might burn yourself.”

Whenever I feel sad this song is the one I play. It's called Koshuuki (The time of lonely sorrow) and is sung by Bloody Dracul Vampiru (Ono Hikari) about her grief for her Father Bloody Dracula who was killed. Vampiru is one of my favorite characters from the Sera Myu musicals and the one I identify with the most. Despite her dark heritage she chooses her own destiny and is only the stronger for it.

Sylvatica let out a breath while walking out of her hospital room for the first time that day. Patients were only allowed time outside of their rooms at certain periods and the girl had become so tired of the plain old walls of her room. It had only been three days and Sylvatica felt like she would go insane soon. Days seemed longer the more time she spent there and dread filled her every time she remembered she would be there for at least a month. 

Curse her clumsiness. Who winds up in the hospital because she tripped and fell onto the train tracks of the subway, breaking her arm in the process? Sylvatica, of course. Remembering that always made her sigh in exasperation, as she just did. Well, at least she could get some fresh air. They did allow her to wander outside in the garden, which she greatly appreciated. 

Turning the corner leading to the garden she saw him again. Since the first day, Sylvatica would walk past a vending machine against the wall and everytime the same boy would be purchasing a drink. She guessed their free time aligned. She appreciated the coincidence, the boy was cute-- A bit mysterious but ultimately good looking. Too bad he always seemed in a bad mood. It scared Sylvatica to bother him, so she simply discreetly scared as she walked past. 

One day she’ll talk to him. Hopefully, but not today.

All throughout her work shift Delta kept an eye on that girl from the other day, since apparently the stupid thing had chosen her place of employment to pass out her fliers. When it was finally time for Delta to clock out she grabbed one of the prepackaged sandwiches meals they sell and quickly made her exit. Stopping in front of the other she dropped the paper bag on top of her stack. "You're going to collapse again if you don't eat."

Haruka had woken up cold, wet and dirty in the middle of the night and had somehow made it home where she scraped up whatever was around to eat and checked on her mother who was asleep for once. It really worried her but instead of standing idly, she was tried to recover Shio. It was all she could do. 

She didn’t sleep, she made more copies of her fliers and headed out to the station. Early rush hour was the best time to reach as many people, even if most of them simply shoved her around telling her to go away. The few people who did take her fliers probably stuffed them in the trash later but she had to be presistant. 

In between that and afternoon rush hour she hit the shops near the station. That day she found a shop she hadn’t went to yet. It was a small resturant, she stood outside and handed fliers to people walking in. Eventually, she stopped for a second as she began going through a case of sudden depression. What was she even doing? She thought to herself before something was dropped on her pile. 

“Huh?” Haruka looked up to see the girl from the night before. Her eyes widened as she took a step back. Her last impression of the girl was suddenly brought back to her mind. However, her shock was dispelled by the bag of food in front of her. What it for her? Why was this girl helping her again? What was she supposed to do?

Wakana didn't necessarily want to meet up with Yuuya today, however when she met the guy by chance she couldn't help but agree to his offer of coffee. Considering it was their off day from school it's not like either had any better to do anyways. "Yuuya, why did you want to do this?"

Yuuya blinked out of his small daze at the sound of Wakana’s voice. He smiled at her in response while trying to collect his thoughts. Why had he invited the girl out for coffee? It was smiple really. He wanted to make amends.

“I wanted to speak to you about something.” He answered and then cleared his throat slightly, “...About your attitude towards Arisa and Kitty.”

Sylvatica smiled softly as she carried a pitcher of lemonade and a small picnic basket out into the garden. She weaved through the small trees and bushes until she came to where Camellia was waiting for her. They had been spending more time together. Mostly, Sylvatica had insisted that he allow her to take care of him. It was upon Lycoris’ nagging that the vamp decided to help him. She still didn’t know what had happened. Camellia wasn’t telling her the details. Even though she wasn’t so sure about it at first, spending time with the boy had proved to become quite enjoyable. Sylvatica almost wondered why she didn’t mind being around him anymore.

Camellia waited for her under one of the bigger trees in the garden, it was a spot that some bushes kept out of view. It was also one of the only places with a good amount of shade. Sylvatica wondered just when it was that it stopped raining in the sanitarium. It used to always rain. She wasn’t complaining, though. She was glad, actually. When she appeared from behind some rose bushes, she saw Camellia quickly and the sight of him sitting there waiting for her under the shade of the trees, while tiny specs of sunlight filtered through the leaves was really beautiful. 

“Sorry to keep you waiting,” The vamp greeted the boy with a smile as she came up to their spread out blanket on the ground. She placed the pitcher and basket down while settling down herself, “Are you ready for some delicious food? I made it all last night, I hope you enjoy it.”

Sylvatica had become disheartened the past few weeks. It was difficult for her to live in this place that was nothing like the place she knew. Every day, the vamp would stay in her chamber, lost in thought. Feeling as if she didn’t belong, she wondered just who was she. Sylvatica hadn’t spoken to Cherry since that night. The vamp felt guilty for making her best friend so angry, though she still didn’t know why. Sylvatica just wanted to make things better. Perhaps it was time to apologize to Camellia. The girl knew that was what Cherry had asked her to do. 

Even though she felt unmotivated and gloomy, the vamp forced herself out of her room. Heading down the corridors, she knew where to find the boy. Well, she didn't know for sure, but she had a feeling she could find him in the garden. That was where she had always seen him. 

Sure enough, as she slowly rounded the exit, she spotted Camellia. 

"Camellia." Her voice was flat but only because she could barely manage any emotion in her state of depression. "I was looking for you."

(Camellia to Cherry) Camellia was unsure as to why he was at Cherry's door nor why he had knocked multiple times like she would answer him, all he knew what that she wasn't in. So sitting down next to her door he pulled his knees up to his chest, awaiting her return.

Cherry sighed, only returning to Clan for a bit to gather some of her stuff. She was going to leave for a while because being around anyone in the place was not helping her emotional state one bit. Turning the hall, she was hoping no one would notice her but much to her surprise, she saw someone waiting for her at her door. And of all people, it was the one person she could not face. “Camellia...” she muttered, approaching him carefully. “What... what the hell are you doing here?!”
