Kin-Kin's been a romantic since she's been aware! She wants so badly to find her "prince" and fall in love. Well, circumstances align and she finds Kosei. Their first interaction? Her trying to give him a frog!

But he's a Nobody, and he's lost his heart. Unsure of how to feel, or what even happened to him, he feels safer and more complete around Kin-Kin The two vow to help one another, as he has collected a piece of her heart as well and has had it for many years.

While they're very different people, in spirit and personality, they find ways to work together and learn that love isn't just instant like in fairy tales.

hibiscus :   how does your muse view the gentler ,   daintier things in life ?   as things worth preserving   &   caring for ,   or things only bound to wither   &   disappear ?  

I would say things worth preserving! He does have a lot of Earthly attachments (his home town, his family he wants to see again, a piece of KinKins heart that he sees as his "good luck charm) that he knows are only temporary, but he clings to them anyway.

salvia :   is your muse possessive over people or things that matter a lot to them ?  how do they express that possessiveness ,   or lack thereof ?

He does have a possessive streak. He already lost so much. Thankfully, I think it presents itself less as "I will disrespect your boundaries and limit your freedoms to keep you Mine" and more like "I will work hard and learn new skills and go out of my comfort zone to keep you safe."

Original Cursed Technique: 影激減/Kage no Geki (trans. Shadow Puppet Theatre)

Asano-sama has an ability that's odd, for lack of a better word, given His nature as a River Kitsune. He can wield the light and shadows around Him in order to create puppets to do things for Him. They are controlled by gestures that mimic the action He wants to perform. You could argue that this is just run-of-the-mill telekinesis, and you'd be right, to a point, but drawing power from the light and shadows in the environment (or rather, the energy within them) is the key difference.

To me, it seems like He's always been to do this - create temporary vessels for the dead - and it feels separate to the fact He is a River Kitsune because most of Their powers are hydrokinetic. I know that zenko may have powers over everything, but Asano-sama seems like the kind of Being to tie His sense of self to His local geography, so He won't use powers that take Him too far from His place or sense of origin - that would be a river. Specifically, Asano-sama comes from the Otagawa, or the Ota River - that feeds into why He uses Kage no Geki more now, rather than His childhood; He has to, because of His catastrophic vision loss in 1945. This also is the reason Kage no Geki we (meaning Asano-sama and myself) think of it a Cursed Technique instead of a superpower or Quirk; there are negative emotions hidden in the shadows and in the fragments of people's souls. This, if you consider the Shinto view of animism, also applies to objects - He can befriend the object if it's more than 100 years old or pass on the soul of a puppet to an object so it becomes their vessel.

While, in truth, Kage no Geki was always a personal Cursed Technique, it was only recently classified as such because of it its rise in usage - the nuclear fallout of Hiroshima gave Him plenty of shadows to befriend.

This is Kosei Shina. She is very cheerful person, has been working in the Port Mafia for 4 years. And she loves to making fun of her Senpai, Nakahara Chuuya. She is one of those joyful people who are unique and rare. We need to retain such people, right :')

Drawing is mine but the template in the background -and most sentences- belongs to my friend Shina, if it wasn't for her, I wouldn't be able to make such a template. She also helped me a lot with her extremely creative words. Not just helped, we both created this character and here she is!

I didn't think it too much, I just liked how it sounded, it's not really linked with how his lore works, or maybe it does and I didn't realized? Whatever.

Hanzō the Honedge

His name was made almost in the same way I make names for most of my ocs, translating words related to what they are in random languages and then putting them together.

I just remember that his name was a bleeding with japanese and something, and I used the word "sharp" or "edge", I think.

Palith the Lileep

With her it was a struggle, I wanted to give her a soft sounding name but also something unique, some names I had for her was: Yurodi, Adhiz(That name was used later for another oc), Everie, Pharii.

Then I remember that word "Litho" which is used for rocks, I can't remember at the moment but I took it and BOOM, Palith, I liked the sound so it was settled.

Saribi the Monferno

No much thinking, I think I translated "Little flame" into a language I can't remember and I distorted it.

Tobo the Impidimp

I translated "Howl" and "Sorrow", pretty sure those are the words I used, if not "Deceiving", into Japanese and bleeded them. Pretty ironic I used those words for a mischievous little guy. Totally nothing to do with him, of course not.

Kosei the Murkrow

Just wanted something to sound elegant for him, his name also came out of nowhere when naming him and I thought the sound suited him.

Zia the Blitzle

It was a funny yet exasperating experience naming her, I was translating lots of word and trying to figure out some sounds that might fit her.

Then my mind went "Zia, let's name her Zia", okay, why not? Zia it is.

Geryu the Tirtouga

I used the words "Rock" and "Flippers", can't remember the language I used tho.

Blueskee the Swablu

She was named after my Swablu I had in one of my playthroughts in Pokemon Emerald, I could have names her just "Bluesky", but I wanted the "ee" noise out of whim, I thought it made it sound cute.
