Maybe this time

Mizuki hadn't planned on visiting the Golden Saucer but she had some free time whilst she waited for updates.

And once again she found herself at the Moogle claw machine,

"This time.." she mumbled, reaching for some coins.

This time fortune was on her side, it only took 10 attempts but

the claw picked up the cute little korpokkur and guided it over to the drop zone and-

"Freedom!" Mizuki cheered, rescuing the korpokkur from the prize zone.

"Finally!" she clapped excitedly.

The korpokkur sprung into action and Mizuki moved to catch it. "It's so cute."

"Adorable~ and so soft." Mizuki hummed happily and scooped up the korpokkur, smushing her face against it's little round face "Well I guess you shall be attending my meeting with me-" and with that Mizuki marched off happily with the plush korpokkur nestled in her arms, its leaf bopping around happily.

My first assignment for selfie class [Documenting Culture], was to take two selfies. First, a regular selfie, then a “selfie without self”. Mimicking the typical selfie format, the expression of this korpokkur kid plush externalizes the anxiety one feels when presenting themselves to others.

❖ One bad habit: Jumping into things without thinking it through. ❖ One good habit: Overall, he keeps things organized. So he has a haphazard griffin plush that Alrek and other refugees made for him. I pretend it’s the chocobo plush in his room. ❖ Embarrassing story: Rothe has skid down the brick of Vesper Bay and straight off the dock waaay too many times to count. He eventually learned to swim this way, because everyone was too busy laughing to fish him out. Residents assumed he’d realize that he should slow down when approaching splash zones, but nope. Full steam ahead, 24/7. ❖ Favorite family member: there’s only one (blood-related) family member to choose from...Alrek basically wins by default... (Rothe would choose Alrek anyway but I’m still gonna laugh)
