Aaaa, just need to stitch on his head and tail and then this little cutie will finally be ready to go in my Etsy shop! <3 He's made from a pattern I found amongst my old schoolbooks and adapted (changed the head and body shape, completely redid the tail, thread sculpted the toes etc), and I'm looking forward to using it as a base for a lot of different things :D

(It always amuses me that my Sockmuffin URL on my images kinda makes it look like I'm reposting all this stuff X3  That's my desk, honest!)

All the edges have worn off my carbie-cubes (maybe they spent too much time in the Rhotano, rolling around like pebbles), and they've turned into little dumplings!

Latest custom talbuk, Orobas!  Some turnaround pics of him, plus the sketch I originally did to give an idea of what his design would look like plushified (the colours of the sketch aren’t accurate).  He was a lot of fun to work on!

SO UH WOW I’VE BEEN GONE FOR A WHILE, HUH? My latest project involved getting these two cuties finished before we went to Distant Worlds in Amsterdam and for some reason, drafting the initial pattern took me bleedin’ months o_o I started in December and STILL only just had the two of them done before we left.  I love them though - as you can see, they’re really expressive and versatile :> They’re designed so they hook over your arm/chair/vertical surface.  Pretty sure they’re going to be appearing in my shop mighty soon!

New for Halloween 2016, this adorable Overwatch inspired 'Spoopimari' is just waiting to wriggle his way into your life!  Equipped with little bat-wings for fluttering around your head at night, he also has a squeaker inside him so he can squeak in your ears while you sleep.  

This pumpkin-coloured cutie is 23cm tall from tentacle to tip, and has  a machine-embroidered face and hand-sewn felt 'sucker' details. If you love him more than anything, ever, you can find his Etsy listing on my shop here!

I shipped this pachimari off today, and started on another! These little guys are so cute :<  We’re also brainstorming some Limited Edition versions.  Watch this space!

After a busier weekend than anticipated, we really are almost there now!

Two talbuk heads, huzzah!  Things are coming along nicely so far, and my desk is looking pretty creepy right now - everywhere I look there are eyeballs staring at me balefully.  Not pictured: disembodied chunks of ‘buk body scattered on all the OTHER available surfaces.

Frustratingly, didn’t get quite as much as I’d hoped done this week, because very cleverly, at the weekend I managed to slam my left hand in the door -_-  I can move my fingers, but they’re stiff, so going’s pretty slow (lucky I’m left-handed, right?  So I don’t use that hand for - oh wait.). 

In the background is also the crochet shawl I’m working on.  That’ll be in a small exhibition in June, which is great!  Everyone in my crochet group will have made a scarf or shawl for it.

Pulled this image off my Instagram instead of using any of the others I took, because I like it so much <3 since I took this, white war talbuk has gained another ear, and some horns.

Oh, and another order today, so very soon there will also be some pictures of a black talbuk in the making!

(And in the very, very background, you can see the crochet shawl I’m making using hand-dyed yarns from Five Moons Yarns which are just the most gorgeous things<3  More on that project some other day! :D )
