Dumb thought of the night but what about Kori x Marinette?

They meet at the bakery and just hitch off from there. First, they are friends with Marinette agreeing to teach her some baking with questionable spices that should not be in bread. There are lots of flirting in those sessions.

Then a fucking attack from Hawk Moth happens and fuck, Marinette realizes that her friend and crush is a hero, or antihero, you know, wherever category the Outlaws fall into according to different writers, and Kori finds out this friend-slash-crush is also a hero.

They team up, bring down Hawk Moth and become partners. Not exactly in that order but whatever.

Outside of the Batfam what other DC characters do you ship Marinette with

I am a weak weak gay for Koriand'r so I totally ship my favorite bruiser girl with my favorite disaster bi. Korinette would be adorable! Like I am weak for the for it!

Hmm I think MariJon is cute. I am very tempted to say Roy because I love him but! He's a mess and Marinette can do so much better. Hmm, it's hard because I haven't thought of to many pairings outside of the Batfam.

Shipping her with Kaldur would be interesting. They'd understand each other and have a similar dynamtic to Lukanette, where Kaldur, the dignified bi, would be a steadying pressence Mari could get confidence from.

Marinette would be less than impressed with Wally West, he's a bit too much like Chat for her to take him seriously. Bart Allan would be an intresting partner for her, mostly because I love him but, also because he's got a care free atittude with just enough of a serious edge. I think he'd challenge Marinette to get out of her comfort zone alot .

Connor is too Conner? He's a punk and unlike Luka not alsways a nice one... He's got a temper. Dick is a batboi so he's out. Marinette would put up with Artemis's attitude for about a minute before being so done(Daminette vibes for sure). M'gann is cute, and a relationship between her and Mari would involve alot of coming to terms with themselves and getting over insecurities. Plus baking! I want Mari to teach M'gann bake so so badly!

Garfield...I ship him with either Dick or Raven and just can't see him with anyone else. Hmm, Raven I want them to be best friends but she's too detached for a romantic relationship with someone as emotionally visceral as Marinette.
