Прибыл на родину предков через века ожидания. В столицу мира, землю древнего народа, создавшего эпос Калевала, который оказал влияние и на современную мировую культуру, и на считающиеся священными и древними книги, и на сюжеты сочинений и сказок писателей, сегодня называемых классиками. Столица древней страны невероятно красива, дышится здесь легко и свободно, и, понятно - ни одного из правителей не устраивал мирный работящий народ. Он был депортирован вглубь страны на опустошенные сообщниками властителей территории Тверской области и, спустя века, уничтожен такими же в 30е годы XX века. Язык почти забыт, но... Интересно слушать экскурсовода в музее, имея некоторое понимание истории, особенно в проекции на день сегодняшний. В детстве я этого не замечал, но музейные экскурсии - подобие передач современных пропагандистов. Рубленая тупым топором картина мира, исполосованная отрезвляющим фразочками типа "Историю пишут победители" и оправдывающая подлость и предательство понятиями "хитрость" и "справедливость". Хороший урок истории. Проходим мы. Но выучить его полностью никогда не сможем. Ведь работает правило: Повторение - мать учения. On any other day, in any other situation, it wouldn’t have worked. Korela would’ve stood her ground, tossed a dismissive insult at Alax, and kept searching her until she found what she was looking for. But today... maybe it was the situation, maybe it was the tone in Alax’s voice, maybe even—fuck it, maybe Korela missed her too. Whatever the reason, when Alax tried to tilt her head, Korela allowed it, looking up at the normally shorter other; heels and Korela’s kneeling position certainly corrected for the difference in height. Against her better judgement, she folds; at least, as much as she’s willing to. “Let me finish my search and we’ll see what happens.” Of course, her momentary distraction gives Alax all the time she needs.

If Alax is looking for a response, there’s no response better and more distinct than the way Korela’s breath hitches in her throat when Alax feels at her breast. She mouths at a swear, but it doesn’t quite come out, caught along with the rest of her thoughts; instead, she grabs at Alax’s skin, clutching her close and tight and trying to encourage her with her hands where her voice is failing her. With any luck, Korela would remember this lesson the next time they found each other like this (denial wasn’t even worth it right now, she knew there would be a ‘next time’, especially if it was like this).

Now that Alax wasn't surprised, she had more control over how her body reacted. Which meant when she whimpered, she did so with intention. It was loosening the reins and giving in enough to keep them both interested. And it was honest, too. Zekra's words went straighto her stomach, especially when she tried so hard to sound sexy. It worked. As it would turn out, Alax appreciated a partner who made an effort. If all it took to keep this up was a bit of submissiveness, she was happy to oblige. While she couldn’t pull Zekra's bra off, she slipped her hands under the material and played with what she found.

Karelia of Mares (Tamma-Karjala, Kobylitškaja Korela) was a small area in Novgorod's Karelia, located near the border defined by the Treaty of Nöteborg. It is mentioned in chronicles 1338 and Novgorod tax area in the tax book from 1500. The name has been interpreted as referring to breeding and exporting horses. Kustaa Vilkuna has suggested that a peasant trade in horses, which Vyborg burghers complained to the king of the 1300's, could have prehistoric roots. Specifically, the name referring to mare horses would be due to the rare nature of northern Europe. In the forests of Karelia grazing half-wild horses could have been the same manner as, for example, in 1800s' Gotland.
