I wanna get around to doing some small story beats for the "Main Six Takes Manhattan" story. It'd be a good chance for me to play around with different art styles too.

I'm really excited about this story too because it'd be splitting everyone up into pairs for their own little arc.

Rarity attends a fashion showcase in upper Manhattan, with April-Jacqueline in tow as her "attendant." The two get swept up in industry drama as they uncover the abuse faced by amateur designer Carol Cho under the American fashion house "Polomare."

Pinkie and Thea head to Harlem for a rent party, hosted by Thea's city friends. Despite Thea's protestations, Pinkie can't help but be the life of the party as its tenants and musicians attempt to raise enough money to fight their landlords and demand housing justice.

Dash and Félicie navigate NYC's transportation system to go to a ball game: the New York Wonderbolts vs. the Washington Senators. While Dash meets her heroes, Félicie can't help but feel homesick and smothered by the big city.

'i realised you were lonely rather than cold' is how haeng seon describes chi yeol but her exact words in korean is that 'chi yeol isn't a "chaga-un" person but a "choo-wun" one' which is so interesting to me since both those words are used to describe "coldness" in korean but the former means icy/frosty like if you grab a frozen fence and it stings, whereas the latter is a more general cold, used to describe the weather usually, or when you're feeling cold

its interesting bc at first haeng seon has a limited view of chi yeol and he seems cold and distant to her but when she gets to know him better she realises that coldness doesn't originate from inside of him. in fact he is pretty warm on the inside but the cold exterior was blocking all of it. it's like she slowly steps into his world and realises just how cloudy his skies are. and she holds an umbrella over him through her kindness, even if she cant physically embrace him to shield him against the gusts of cold winds. and my god korean is such a poetic language that it gets to convey such distinct ideas with essentially different versions of the same word

i started love class 2 with low expectations but finished it just absolutely filled with queer joy. i think this is one of few korean bls that actually explore the aspect of queer community (everyone being gay was so fun and real lol) ,, it just felt like a celebration of queer love <3

I've been toeing the line a little, but so far every paper (with a single exception) and every speech I've written for college has been about the Korean alphabet and how awesome it is, and what I'm saying is, maybe I should switch my major.

This is mainly rhetorical because they don’t deserve more attention but these people that follow skz around and take pics at every event or stop, like are they from rich families or something? How do they afford all this travel and time to just follow someone around?

I think they are? Like obviously I can't say for sure and I'm sure there's a couple broke ones with a severe amount of credit card debt and obviously I don't know these people but it stands to reason that if you have enough money to attend multiple concerts/festivals (which would include flights, accommodation, etc.)/fanmeets/mass purchasing albums for fancalls/buy All the merch, like you'd have to be from a well off family? Especially since half the time they do seem to be in their twenties and they really seem to just follow idols around so like.... God it's so unfair... if I was from a rich family that indulged my whims I wouldn't stalk singers around </3
