trying handpoke making mistakes and everything

I've stabbing lemons and bananas this week. I first wanted to teach myself to handpoke directly on my skin but after a first try I realized the ink I got at the store were not that pigmented and don't give me what I was envisioning. But it means now I have inks to practice and that's great cos I'm not afraid to waste material cos I kind of already did when I bought them.

It reminds me that it's ok to spend a bit of money in the learning phase as well. I've been so worried with my financial situation that I froze everytime it's time to spend. Taking the decision to not make art the way I make money has relaxed me so much on that matter. Now I feel like I can really approach it as a hobby and I don't think I ever had a hobby! So basically a job will be a mean to support my hobby. I know jobs suck the life out of you (or at least of me - with my trans + disable combo) so my hopes are pretty low but this is wishful thinking and it feels good.

I've been vibing with 2 artsy youtube channels this week and they have in commun to be very celebratory of the mistakes that comes along doing something for the first time. And I love this, makes me feel great.

Hey there! Don’t worry, team building can be difficult and annoying, but we do have a page on how to make a stronger team here and also a section here (under the header “Team Formation”) on how to focus your team-building to maximize the event points you can earn. Don’t be afraid to tinker around with team building and seeing how you can maximize the score/event points you get.

As for the attributes, they’re specific to certain events and also to certain area items/food items. For example, the current event is a Powerful event, which means for each Powerful card on your team, you’ll earn an additional 20% of the event points you would’ve earned normally after an event. For the area items/food items, those provide a boost to your card’s stats, which will improve your score in lives.

I hope my explanation wasn’t too confusing!If you have more questions, feel free to shoot another ask.
