Fantasy Anime Adventure Party Showdown!

Party descriptions below the cut...

Frieren Party

Frieren: Elf mage, over 1500 years old, master of mana hiding, wide variety of spells. Fights very dirty and directly. Specializes in killing demons, but her style and skills being hundreds of years out of date mean most people fighting her find it off putting.

Fern: Frieren's apprentice, human mage, nearly as skilled as Frieren. Fights very directly with spells focused on basic defense and offense. Most people who fight her react similarly to those fighting Frieren.

Stark: Human warrior, wields an axe. Considers himself to be a coward, but commits when it counts, and is generally too stubborn to quit. A bit dumb in social situations, but skilled in combat from a wide variety of teachers.

Sein: Human priest, with healing and purification skills, as well as some offensive abilities. Not significantly combat tested, but what we've seen shows him to be very capable. Probably the most "normal" of the four. Didn't stay with them long, but I need a fourth here.

Touden Party

Laios Touden: Human, armored fighter/warrior. Good with a sword, good at being the party's tank, and extremely skilled at strategizing against monsters, but generally bad with people.

Marcille Donato: Half-Elf Mage, specializing in blowing stuff up, but also capable of doing revival and healing spells, along with other buffs and enhancements. Generally considered to be one of the most brilliant mages of the era, but she can be a bit on the anxious side. Blasts first, asks questions later.

Chilchuck Tims: Halfling thief/rogue, specializing in disarming traps, but is shown to be a good problem solver and a good archer. Middle-aged for his species and slowing down a touch, he's also going to need some convincing to fight, since it's not in his contract.

Senshi of Izganda: Dwarven warrior cook, good in a fight, even better in the kitchen. Has been killing and cooking monsters for a long time. Does have an axe, but it's not well maintained. Adamantine knife and shield double as a cooking knife and wok.

Kazuma Party

Kazuma Satou: Human adventurer, isekai'd into a fantasy land. Can learn almost any skill by seeing it and having enough skill points. Possesses a wide variety and skills and spells, such as generating water, freezing it, stealing objects (usually panties) from others, and more. Okay with a sword, but really good at off the wall plans that somehow work and wrangling his teammates into action.

Aqua: Technically a goddess, working as an arch-priest. Limited combat skills, but extremely good with revivals, blessings, purification, and buffs. Dumb as a post and way too convinced of her own skill.

Megumin: Human mage, CRIMSON DEMON AND MISTRESS OF EXPLOSION MAGIC! ...And only explosion magic. As in one specific Explosion spell. Which, granted, is strong enough to blow up a significant portion of the landscape. Overly dramatic chuni loli, but also capable of some unconventional problem solving skills.

Darkness: Human Crusader and an incredible tank. She can shrug off countless attacks and keep going and can also draw agro with her skills. She's got a sword, but she couldn't hit the broadside of a barn if she was three inches away from it. Masochist with a humiliation kink on top of that, so even if you do hit her, she'll probably enjoy it. Strong and skilled... but a lot of crazy crammed into that package.

A Terrified Teacher at Ghoul School - Ngl Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School is one of my favourites of the Scooby-Doo films. Peak cinema. The only downside for this one is it's not dubbed so it will, naturally, take me 1000 fucking years to get through it if Banana Fish was any indication. But I also saw glimpses of many fans on Reddit being quite sad that it likely isn't getting dubbed, so. Good to know there's a fandom attached. Godspeed, weebs.

Been watching alot of Konosuba lately. Hilarious anime. Recognized some familiar voice actors in the English dub. It was nice to hear Cristina Vee (Noel Vermillion) as Darkness and Patrick Seitz (Ragna the Bloodedge) as the dullahan, Verdia.
