A/N: I've never been to Norway but I'm planning to go on a vacation there soon. I did a little research on Norwegian landscapes, including the times of sundowning there. I'm also a hobby astronomer (not to be confused with astrology!! I watch the stars and planets, but I don't read them!!)

As always, all places are fictionalized and exist only in my head. I hope you all love some stargazing with Loki…and it's a long chapter again… I just can't write short ones;)

One week later you two were on your flight to Oslo, Norway. For you, it felt a bit like coming home because you had lived here for several years and you were excited to show Loki all your favorite places. You stayed for a few days in the city and did some sightseeing and shopping before you travelled further to the destination where you two would stay and relax for nearly two weeks. On your way to the location, you drove to some fjords and marvelled over the impressive landscapes. You were offered fantastic views of the pristine nature of the environment with its views of rugged rocks and pretty impressive, roaring waterfalls. The roads followed the coastline, big lakes and nice villages along the way.

When you finally arrived at the destination, Mrs Andersson, a cute, nice old lady and owner of the house you had rented for your vacation, welcomed you and Loki warm-heartedly.

"God dag, Mrs y/l/n. Welcome to Norway. I hope you had a good journey. Ahh…and this must be your husband, god dag Mr. Y/l/n."

You looked at each other embarrassed and smiled. Mrs. Andersson felt a bit embarrassed, too.

"We're not married, Mrs. Andersson," you said and gave her a friendly smile.

"Not yet…" and Loki gave you a mischievous sideways glance.

"I'm Loki Laufeyson, god dag Mrs Andersson, hyggelig å mate deg (nice to meet you)," he greeted her in perfect Norwegian and gave an implied kiss to her hand.

Did he just say 'not yet'? You raised an eyebrow and looked at him astonished. He felt you glancing at him and you saw how a small smirk curved his lips. You hadn't expected this of him, not yet though it would be something you might like to be one day, Mrs Laufeyson …Loki's kone (wife).

"Ohhh…you're a perfect gentleman," Mrs. Andersson giggled. "Please forgive an old woman like me for this misunderstanding. You two seem so enamored that I thought your vacation here must be your honeymoon," and she smiled brightly at you and Loki.

After a short introduction to the bungalow, Mrs. Andersson handed you the house keys, said her goodbye, and left. The house you had booked for your vacation was gorgeous and luxurious. It was a wooden lakefront house, with a large winter garden which was a perfect place in bad weather, with private sea access, a private rocky beach, and a jetty. The lodge's interior was modern but wonderfully cozy. Picturesquely framed by rugged mountains the bay offered a fantastic panorama. All in all a small piece of paradise.

You took strolls through nature, and watched eagles surfing the high winds or the ever-shifting colours on the horizon. Enjoying the silence and loneliness while sitting in front of your house or the winter garden was your favourite thing to do and while sundowning, you two loved to sit on the jetty. Swimming naked in the sea, and maybe doing some naughty things there, was another highlight, especially for Loki. He felt free like never before and the temperature of water and air was perfect for him to be your Blueberry. He put a warming-spell on you then, so you could join him longer in the, for you too cold, water. You still used to freeze easily and you knew to appreciate Loki's magical skills. You still hoped you got to see The Northern Lights. It was nearly summer and too late in the year to see them but maybe with a bit of luck it might happen.

One evening after you had finished dinner, Loki refilled your glasses with wine to drink with you outside on the jetty. Like mostly every evening you two would sit there and look over the bay until the sun goes down and the stars are sparkling in the sky. You put the washed plates and cutlery back in the cupboard and drawer and turned around to Loki. He smiled at you with this sexy grin of his and his sky-blue eyes glanced lovingly at you. Why was he always so beautiful, in each of his appearances? And also you would never understand why he always was so super sweet with you.

You couldn't resist kissing his lips, neck and bare chest devotedly. His chest hair, which lurked out of his half-buttoned black shirt, tickled your nose and your hands firmly grabbed his butt which was perfectly hugged by his tight dark grey jeans. Loki chuckled. He knew how much you loved doing that especially when he was kind of 'defenceless' like now because he held his arms sideways, the glasses of wine in his hands. He always enjoyed your devoted, gentle kisses and tender touches.

"Are you coming up, my love?" He murmured into your ear. You placed your hands on his hips and gave him a little peck on his cheek.

"Just a moment, Lo. I just put a sweater on and look for my blanket to cuddle. You go ahead, I'll be right there, okay?" you answered and went to the bedroom.

You wore just a t-shirt and leggings and you knew you would begin to freeze as soon as you were sitting on the jetty. Loki hummed in yes and went barefoot to the jetty, sat down there at the edge of the ridge and waited for you.

His gaze wandered over the bay. He looked at the horizon. The daylight was fading and the moon had already risen and stood pale just above the mountains surrounding the bay. Loki took a sip of his wine and thought about the last days. With you, every day felt good and was full of fun and laughter, fine foods and devoted sex. You two often made excursions in the surrounding area but you also loved to stay at the secluded and private lodge. It was the first time that he had found a place where he could walk around or sit here on the jetty in his natural form whenever he wanted, whenever it felt right for him.

No, you had found this place because you knew that this place here was what you both needed and you, his wonderful queen, continued helping him to accept this 'blueberry' side of him. He also knew how much you loved both of his appearances and he appreciated it. He loved it when you called him 'my blueberry'. It always made him smile because he felt all of your adoration and love when you called him by this nickname. Without you, he would be nothing anymore. You were his destiny, his now, and his tomorrow. You were his most important reason to live. And together you two were already writing new stories.

But today something was different. During dinner, you had been very quiet and he wondered why. He had the feeling, something was bothering you. But he also knew you would tell him what it was. Maybe tonight you would ask him the questions he was awaiting from you you would finally ask.

You needed to talk to him. You shouldn't wait any longer. And this place here, where you both felt utterly safe and comfortable, seemed perfect for this highly needed conversation. Since the night you two had bonded yourselves to each other, you had this indescribable feeling inside of you. It felt like… you could feel what he feels. His happiness, joy, anxieties, sadness… his heartbeat? No, that was impossible. Did he feel the same things?

You had been absolutely sure about what you wanted and you were aware of what you were getting into. But now you had so many questions and the longer you thought about it the more sure you were that you should've asked him beforehand, before you two fixed the bond. You had the feeling that you had made a mistake, a big mistake. You grabbed the warm fluffy blanket and walked outside towards the jetty where Loki was waiting for you.

"Hello handsome."

"Hello, my love. Come here and sit down, I want to hold you in my arms. Your god needs you close to him…I need to feel you!"

You sat down next to him, your legs dangling over the edge like his and he wrapped his arm tightly around your shoulder. He passed you your glass of wine and you took a sip of the red liquid.

"Is everything alright, Snowflake? You've been so quiet today."

"It's nothing, Lo. I'm fine," you answered hesitantly.

"Sure?"

"Hmm Hmm."

"You lie to the god of lies, Snowflake?" He scolded you playfully and a smile curved his lips.

"You have to be careful, my Lady, otherwise I have to punish you," he cooed into your ear.

You laughed lightly and turned your head, your eyes meeting his. As much as you loved his punishment, it had to wait.

"Can we talk, Lo? I…I have some questions."

"Sure, you can ask me everything anytime, my love."

"Okay…I don't know where to start…" you said and bit nervously into your lower lip, your slightly trembling fingers fidgeting with the glass of wine.

"Just ask me, darling, don't be nervous."

"In the night we bonded, Lo I… I had such a strange, indescribable feeling inside of me. I don't know how to explain it… some things feel different since then."

"Does it feel bad for you?" Loki was unsettled and he traced a thumb tenderly over your cheek.

"No…no just … different. Did you feel the same? Do you still feel it like I do?"

Loki smiled. You just have given him the confirmation that you had felt it too in exactly the same moment he did. You were The One. His goddess.

"Yes, Snowflake. I did and I still do! And you've no idea how happy you make me right now. I wasn't sure if you had felt it too. I didn't know it, I could only suppose it."

"So we… we really created the lifelong bond you had told me about?" You asked him with a shaking voice.

"Yes, we did." Loki nodded seemingly relieved, still smiling. For the first time in his life, he had trusted himself and his heart, encouraged by how you treated and loved him and he had made the completely right decision.

"Lifelong… so…as long as I live?"

"As long as we live, Snowflake."

"Wait… you're a thousand years old, right?" You were confused and suddenly you felt dizzy.

"Right!… a little bit older but, yes."

"And you can get … five thousand years old, right?"

"Yeeess, give or take five thousand years, yes…" and he still smiled at you.

"Okay, so I was right when I said, it lasts as long as I live. Look, you know that my life is so much shorter than yours, it's not more than a blink of an eye in comparison with your lifespan. On average I might get eighty-five years old, if things go very well for me… hundred years…perhaps. So when I'm gone you will be free again and you can bond yourself with someone new, right? And I'm absolutely fine with it. You will still have nearly four thousand years to live ahead of you then and I don't want you to be alone when I'm not there anymore and… this thought would really calm me down to know that you can bond yourself to someone else then. I just need your confirmation and your promise that you will do that. And I know, I should've thought about that age-thing earlier, I feel so sorry that I didn't."

Your heart felt a bit lighter, now that you talked with him about it. But his answer was a punch in the gut.

"No, Snowflake. I can't."

"What? You must, Lo. I insist you do that!"

"I can't. Jotuns are like swans, do you remember?"

"You can't be serious, Lo." You were shocked. Did you get him right?

"I'm absolutely serious, darling. I can make this bond only once in my life. Maybe I could find another woman but it would never be the same. And I could never love another woman as much as I love you. You are the love of my life, Snowflake, you're my each and everything. Nothing can change that."

"But what…what did I do to you…?" The dizziness increased and you felt like he had punched the air out of your lungs.

"You did nothing wrong, my love. Everything is perfect," and he gave you his softest smile.

"No, no Loki it's not. What I did was cruel. I banished you to a life of loneliness, to live alone without genuine love when I'll be dead. It's my fault you'll be alone… for an eternity… the rest of your life is an eternity … oh my goodness. I shouldn't have let that happen."

You were desperate and shocked, disgusted by your selfish behaviour. Tears welled up in your eyes and an upcoming panic let you jump to your feet. Loki stood up too, took the glass of wine out of your hand first and put it on the wooden jetty before he held you by your shoulders. It didn't go as expected.

"Snowflake, do you really think, I could live just one single day without you? Do you really think that anyone could ever replace you? That will never happen. I knew from the first time when I saw you in the park that all I want is you. I didn't actually realize it yet back then but…deep inside of my heart I knew it."

"Loki, you cannot …oh shit… I don't want you to be alone when I'm dead…" your sobbing became desperate.

"Who says that I'll be alone then?" He asked you quietly and his hands slid down your arms to yours.

"What? I think I don't understand…"

"The day you die, my love is also the day of my death." He tilted his head a bit and he looked so softly at you that your heart clenched painfully.

"No! No no no no… Loki no…why? Why didn't you stop me? Oh my goodness, why? Why did you let me do this to you?"

"I think, now I don't understand you. What did you say to me by the fireplace back then? …' who loves risk loss' and it's my wish to take this risk. And I'm willing to make sacrifices for our love."

"How can you be so calm and smile so lovingly at me? You should have stopped me. It was me who wanted the Jotun to fuck me…and I encouraged you. I wasn't completely aware of the consequences… the consequences it has for you, Lo. I should've listened more carefully to you and you should've stopped me…"

"Snowflake, I knew exactly what I wanted and what I did. And you did listen carefully, I indignantly asked you if you want to stay with me forever and we talked about how it's a lifelong bond. And I want just you and only you. You always want me to believe that your love for me is unwavering, genuine and endless. And so is my love for you, Snowflake. Do you remember the answer you gave me?"

"Yes, of course, I said I will never leave you, that I want you and that I'll never go, that I'd follow you anywhere …and I was serious and I truly meant what I said. But I've been so horny too and I think my brain wasn't working properly that night. I didn't fully realize the scope of my action…and at the same time, I wanted you so much. You withdrew your hands from his and ran back into the house. Helplessly you stood at the kitchen table. You were close to throwing up and tears ran down your cheeks. What have you done? Of course, he was right somehow, for you nothing had changed, except you felt him deeper and your love for him was so much more intense. But for him, everything had changed. You shouldn't have been so selfish. He paid a high price for your desire to get fucked by a Jotun. And there was no way back now.

He will sacrifice his life for you, the love of his life. Without a question, without any condition. And you? You had done nothing for him in return. You had just taken everything from him. You slammed your flattened palms multiple times harshly onto the tabletop until they hurt and you cried until your tears dropped down your cheeks. He would die for you and you just didn't want to admit it. But it was irreversible and now you had to live with that.

But wouldn't you die for him, too? Had you asked him for permission to do so? You knew your answer to this question and Loki had the same right as you to think the same way. You tried to calm down a bit and took the bottle of wine with you and returned to Loki, who sat with outstretched legs on the jetty again, one leg crossed over the other, his glass of wine in his hand. He didn't go after you because he knew you needed a moment alone. Nonetheless, he was afraid you could regret your relationship with him and it might be your wish to end it and leave him. The fear, he would never get rid of.

"I'm sorry for running away, Lo. It was just too much…I was overwhelmed." You said with a tear-choked voice, your palms were still aching.

Loki looked at you and offered his hand to you to take it and to sit down again next to him.

"Don't worry, my love. I get that. It's a lot to process. The bonding has its effects."

He turned towards you, took your hands in his and his thumbs caressed the back of your hands and he kissed your palms. His kisses soothed the pain immediately. He saw that your palms were dark red and he knew how it happened because he had heard your desperate crying and the slamming sounds.

"Please don't ever hurt yourself like this again, my love. I can't have you doing that, okay? It hurts me too. And I tell you again, I made this decision by myself and never before I had made a decision which felt so damn right. I love you, I live with you, and I die with you, no matter if your life is short or as long as mine. I think you'll have to live with that, Snowflake," and he smiled and he gently kissed your lips which were wet and salty from your tears.

You looked at him with teary eyes. He looked so happy and content. It seemed you truly made him happy…and you felt it, physically.

"I can feel you, Lo. I feel what you feel. Your happiness and your…"

"Yes?…tell me what you feel." He smiled knowingly at you and your confusion grew.

"I can feel… I know it's impossible but…I feel your…"

"Do you feel my heartbeat?"

"How do you know that?"

"Because I can feel your heartbeat too. That's it, my love. Our bond. We're destined for each other. One body, one soul, one heartbeat…"

"Lo…I'm sorry for what I did to you. I was so selfish. I did nothing for you in return. But what we have now feels so good and I love you so much… I'm so confused. Lo, please help me…"

"There's no reason to feel guilty. You've done so much for me, more than you think. You trusted me right from the beginning when you addressed me in the park when I sat on the bench next to yours. You accepted me, my crimes, my flaws…my true identity. You tried to find my heart and looked behind my mask. You did so much for me and you always give me your incredible love and tenderness. I can't wish for more. Enjoy this wonderful feeling you have inside of you. Enjoy me, be happy, and let us enjoy life and this unique feeling together. You wanted to write new stories with me, do you remember?"

"Yes, I do, of course I do but…"

"There is no 'but' …Snowflake this is just the beginning, my wonderful princess, my… goddess."

He made a short pause before he continued talking and you wondered why he had pronounced 'goddess' differently than usual.

"You can imagine that it has its advantages to be a god, can't you?"

"Yes, sure!" You wondered what his point was.

"I also have some privileges as a god. If I've made the bond with the love of my life, I'm allowed to make her an offer."

"What do you mean, baby?"

"I'm allowed to… ," How would you react? Would you freak out again? Would you run away again? He would understand it.

"Yes,... come on, Lo, straight to the point…tell me…what is it?"

"I'm allowed to make you my goddess and it gives you the chance to get a longer life, a longer life together with me."

You felt nauseous again. You grabbed your glass of wine and emptied the glass all at once in mere large gulps.

"Of course…of course, you're allowed to make me…such an offer…You… you're a god, " a weird laugh escaped your mouth.

"I'm serious, darling!"

"I'd never doubt that…but…how? It makes me feel scared."

"Don't be scared, my love. I would never scare you and I would never hurt you. You can feel me, right?"

"Yes, I do…one body, one soul, one heartbeat…"

"Whatttt?" You needed more wine, definitely.

"One blood, Snowflake. When my blood runs through your veins, just a bit of it, it will prolong your life and you will live as long as I do… assuming nothing else happens to us," he explained calmly.

"Of course." Another weird laugh escaped your mouth.

"And how would this work, Lo? Just the human geneticists asking."

"We would celebrate a small sacred ritual in Jotunheim and with a cut in our wrists to exchange our blood and with some additional magic, my sweet beloved mortal girl would become kind of 'immortal' as I am. But regardless of this, I'm always just your god, devoted to you, my goddess, forever and your lifelong servant… and if you want for the next four thousand years."

"It's always wonderful magic. Magical like you, Lo. I cannot believe what you're telling me here right now… but it's the truth, right? I'm not fully drunk…I'm not dreaming this, do I?"

"You're not drunk and you're not dreaming! And I'd never lie to you, Snowflake."

"Holy shit…I have to think about it, Lo. I'm …I'm so confused now. It would be a big step…"

"It would change your whole life and it's not an easy decision to make, I know that. So please take all the time you need even if you need years to find out if you want to do it or not. My offer has no expiration date. I'll be patient, my love. I'll stay with you no matter what your decision will be."

"I don't deserve all of this. This incredible offer, your selfless sacrifice… I don't deserve you, Lo."

"No, baby. I'm blessed to have you and I would do it again and again. Nothing and nobody can tear us apart. You're mine, Lo, the love of my life, my blueberry. I just wasn't prepared for your offer and what you're willing to do for me."

"And you're mine, forever! Whatever that means."

You stared at each other until you both looked up at the now starry sky. It has gotten dark already. Tonight the sky was completely cloudless for the first time since you've been here and you took the chance to show the stars of Midgard's northern hemisphere to Loki. With your index finger, you pointed to the Western direction where Venus was sparkling, the brightest light in tonight's sky. You explained to him the star constellation of the Great Bear, and the Small Bear and how to find the North Star, which is the celestial north pole of Midgard. Loki listened attentively, fascinated by your detailed descriptions.

"Look over there…" and you pointed in the northeastern direction.

"Can you see the blinking bright star over there?" you asked him. Loki hummed yes.

"It's Deneb in the star constellation called….Swan." You two turned your heads to each other and chuckled.

"Really? Swan? That's absolutely awesome, my love."

You explained the whole star constellation, which looks like an elongated cross, embedded in the perfectly visible milky way, to Loki. You had barely finished when you gasped audibly.

"Loki! Look!...the Northern Lights!" and you sat up immediately.

"That's amazing, Snowflake… they look beautiful. I've never seen something beautiful like this before."

All of a sudden they were there, the dancing flames of the Northern Lights, filling the night sky with their green colours. It reminded you of the aura and the flash of green that surrounded Loki whenever he was using his magic. And to experience this spectacle in the sky together with him was magical and you got aware again that your lover was an alien prince, a king from another world, a god of the Midgardian Northern myths.

"Do you want to go back to Jotunheim one day and live there?"

"Why do you ask, my love?" Loki asked you quietly.

"You're the King of Jotunheim so I thought it's a thing you want to do. To go there, ascend your throne and reign your people."

"Sounds tempting. And you as my Queen … Y/n , Queen of Jotunheim. Would you like that, Snowflake?"

"I quite don't know. But if it's your wish… you go, I go."

"I don't want a throne and someone else is doing a good job there. I don't need my own Kingdom. I just need you."

"Will you take me to the stars one day, Lo?"

"Yes, one day I'll do that and we can go anywhere we want to go. My home is wherever you are because you are my home, Snowflake."

You two laid down again and you put your head on his chest and listened to his heartbeat. You sighed contentedly. Your fingers drew lazy circles on his chest and you began to unbutton his shirt completely. Your hand traced up and down over his naked torso and you placed several soft kisses on his bare skin. Propped on your elbow you unzipped his jeans and you shoved your hand slowly into his trousers and you fondled his half-hard cock and massaged his balls gently. This is the first post we post in our collective blog for the Koneli system.

We are a parogenic system (Born voluntarily by the exercise of tulpamancy) and we use non-standard terminology. Most of our members are fictives of either the host's original stories or the host's fics.

Vijf nieuwe auto's van het merk Plymouth staan met chauffeur opgesteld op het Piet Heynsplein voor het standbeeld van Piet Heyn, 29 september 1955. De panden op de achtergrond staan aan het Achterwater.

Plymouth was een Amerikaans automerk dat in 1928 werd opgericht door Chrysler. Plymouth was bedacht als een goedkoop model van Chrysler maar werd later een eigen merk. Nadat de Chrysler Corporation in 1998 met Daimler-Benz was gefuseerd werd Plymouth in 2001 opgeheven.

De zeevaarder Piet Hein werd in 1577 geboren in Delfshaven. Hij was commandant van de West-Indische Compagnie en bracht het tot luitenant-admiraal van Holland en West-Friesland. In 1828 werd gevierd dat Hein tweehonderd jaar eerder de Spaanse zilvervloot had veroverd. Plannen om ter gelegenheid van de feestelijkheden voor hem een monument op te richten liepen echter op niets uit.

In de zomer van 1867 vatte een aantal mannen, waaronder meester-steenhouwer Verhoogh het plan op om in de winter een standbeeld van sneeuw te maken. Zij lieten een bas-reliëf van Hein maken, naar een tekening van Arnold Houbraken. Begin januari 1868 werd 's nachts een groot sneeuwbeeld opgericht, dat op veel bijval van de plaatselijke bevolking kon rekenen. Burgemeester van Delfshaven Rösener Manz nam daarop het initiatief om een echt standbeeld op te richten. Er werd een comité gevormd onder zijn voorzitterschap en een inzamelingsactie gestart. Prins Hendrik was erevoorzitter.

Op 17 oktober 1870 werd het monument onthuld in aanwezigheid van koning Willem III, prins Hendrik, commissaris van de koning Loudon en de ministers Fock en Brocx. Het gedenkteken werd vervolgens overgedragen aan de gemeente. De onthulling werd opgeluisterd door de Harmonie uit Delfshaven en het Rotte's Mannenkoor uit Rotterdam.

Waar?   Tentoonstelling De omgekeerde wereld van Adriaen van de Venne in het Zeeuws Museum, Middelburg

Wanneer?   27 december 2023

Adriaen van de Venne (1590-1662) is voor veel mensen een onbekende kunstenaar. Zelf kende ik voor het zien van de tentoonstelling in het Zeeuws museum één werk van hem: De zielenvisserij. In dat schilderij wordt weergegeven hoe protestanten en katholieken proberen de meeste zieltjes op te vissen. Dit schilderij ontbreekt helaas op deze expositie, maar wat er wél hangt is ook zeker de moeite waard en laat zien hoe veelzijdige Van de Venne was. Hij was schilder, dichter en ontwerper van prenten en boekillustraties.

Het vertrek van een hoogwaardigheidsbekleder uit Middelburg toont waarschijnlijk het vertrek van de graaf van Nothingham, Charles Howard, opperbevelhebber van de Engelse vloot tegen de Spaanse Armada. Ook de Zeeuws-Hollandse vloot had aan deze strijd deelgenomen. Op de achtergrond zien we een fraai panorama van de stad Middelburg met onder meer het stadhuis en de Nieuwe Kerk.

Van de Venne schilderde vaak de seizoenen in de vorm van landschappen. Soms als tweetal van alleen zomer en winter, soms als serie van alle vier seizoenen. Niet zozeer de seizoensgebonden activiteiten staan bij Van de Venne centraal, maar aanvankelijk vooral het vermaak van de elite en later met name de onhebbelijkheden van het gewone volk.  De titel van de Middelburgse expositie is ontleend aan het feit dat de kunstenaar in veel van zijn werk laat zien hoe het niet hoort.

Op Boerenvastenavond trekt een carnavaleske optocht door het dorp. Rechts op de voorgrond gaan een aantal dorpsbewoners met elkaar op de vuist. Zowel Boerenvastenavond als Winter tonen een poepende man, met op enige afstand een hond die hetzelfde zit te doen. Het gedrag van de mens lijkt niet veel beter dan dat van een simpel dier.

Vanaf 1618 gaat Adriaen nauwer samenwerken met zijn broer Jan, die zich als prentverkoper in Middelburg heeft gevestigd. In 1618 vestigt Jan een uitgeverij, drukkerij en kunsthandel aan de Korte Burg, die bekend wordt onder de naam Schildery-winckel. De meeste ontwerpen voor prenten en boekillustraties worden door Adriaen aangeleverd. In 1623 neemt Jan een drukpers in gebruik, met als eerste publicatie de dichtbundel Zeeuwsche Nachtegaal. Deze bundel is een samenwerking tussen Zeeuwse dichters met als doel Zeeland cultureel op de kaart te zetten. Naast alle illustraties levert Adriaen ook een gedicht waarin de innige relatie tussen schilder- en dichtkunst centraal staat.

Na zijn vertrek naar Den Haag gaat Adriaen van de Venne zich specialiseren in het gebruik van de grisailletechniek: het schilderen in nuances van één kleur. Zelden is deze techniek eerder gebruikt voor op zichzelf staande schilderijen. Van de Venne doet dit wel, bijvoorbeeld in het portret van Frederik V en Elizabeth Stuart te paard. Maar hij maakt ook veel ‘grauwtjes’, zoals de grisailles genoemd worden, met als hoofdonderwerp boeren of bedelaars, die zich niet gedragen zoals het hoort. Op ‘Wat maeckme[n] al om gelt!’ zien we een boer die op het punt staat een bordeel binnen te gaan. Het opschrift slaat op de vrouw achter het venster, die zichzelf verkoopt voor geld. In het bordeel zal de boer beroofd worden van zijn geld, zodat hij al het geld dat hij met zijn waren in de stad heeft verdiend, weer verliest. Moraal: hou je seksuele lusten in bedwang.

Svar till Jan Johansson 3 mars:

Hej och tack för upplysningen om att när reaktorerna i Zaporizjzja stängdes av i september avvärjdes hotet av ett utsläpp av radioaktivt jod därifrån.

Jag ser ändå två skäl för att höja beredskapen för utdelning av jodtabletter i Sverige. Gränsvärdet för när stråldosen från nedfall av radioaktivt jod kan förorsaka hjärnskador bör justeras nedåt på grund av den ökade belastningen av hormonstörande ämnen. Kriget i Ukraina hotar att förorsaka kärnkraftskatastrofer av större omfattning än tidigare i historien. Effektiv prevention innebär att förankra kunskapen om vad alla inblandade kan bidra med innan en olycka inträffar och optimera de praktiska förutsättningarna för genomförandet.  Jag har sammanfattat mina argument i bifogat dokument. Gränsvärdet för risken vid nedfall av radioaktivt jod enligt IAEA GSR Part 7 bortser ifrån risken för hjärnskador. Eftersom sköldkörteln redan är belastad av hormonstörande ämnen så fordras en ökad säkerhetsmarginal. Det fattas mycket forskning innan det går att räkna mer exakt på vad mixen av hormonstörande ämnen tillsammans med skadorna på sköldkörteln av jod 131 innebär. Vid ett radioaktivt nedfall bör enligt WHO:s riktlinjer både skyddsåtgärder och jodprofylax i första hand inriktas mot de med den högsta risken: Gravida, ammande och de under 18 år. (World Health Organization; 2017, Leung , WHO 99, Jaworska, Johansson, Le Guen).

När larmet går om ett nedfall bör riskgruppen hålla sig inomhus, stänga av ventilation, följa myndigheternas råd om livsmedel och invänta när nedfallet av jod 131 har mätts om det är aktuellt med intag av jodtabletter inom 12 timmar. Psykologisk beredskap innebär att den informationen inte kan förmedlas samtidigt som larmet om ett utsläpp kommer. Föräldrar vänder sig till mödravårds- och barnavårdscentraler för att skydda sina ofödda och födda barn. Om informationen finns där redan nu, plus på apoteken och 1177, så finns en psykologisk beredskap för att handla rätt om larmet kommer.

IAEA GSR Part 7 bygger på erfarenheterna från haverierna i Tjernobyl och Fukushima. Analyser har gjorts om vad som kan förbättras då det gäller reaktorernas säkerhetssystem. Det har tagits höjd för vad som kan bli följden av naturkatastrofer och terroristattentat.

Avtalet tar upp allt som kan och bör göras då det gäller nationella insatser och internationellt samarbete vid ett kärnkraftshaveri.( Stone, Saint-Pierre, Sharifi, Asmussen,. Konings, Kultová. McMahon) Inget av avtalets punkter är tillämpliga då en stormakt ockuperar ett annat lands anläggning och för ett storskaligt krig för att slå ut el- och vattenförsörjningen. Det behövs beräkningar över vad som händer om el- och vattenförsörjningen slås ut över längre tid för både reaktorer och lager för högaktivt avfall. Under ett krig saknas i stor utsträckning både personella och materiella möjligheter att ingripa för att minimera skadorna. Utan vattenkylning och eltillförsel under längre tid kommer vattenreservoarerna att torrkoka och det bildas bland annat explosivt väte och det mycket lättflyktiga jod 131. Jod 131 utgör cirka 3% av fissionsprodukten av uran och plutonium. Explosioner kan medföra att nedfall når även Sverige. Fukushimahaveriet var momentant och det gick att rädda delar av vattenkylningen och reservgeneratorer, räddnings-, saneringspersonal och nödvändig materiel kunde rekvireras samma dag. Även en rik industrination som Japan saknades jodprofylax för huvuddelen av de som drabbades och Japan behövde rekvirera bor från Sydkorea och jodtabletter från USA. SSM skickade jodtabletter till ambassaden i Tokyo. En gynnsam omständighet var att största delen av det radioaktiva jodet flög ut över Stilla Havet. ( (Ishida, Lebel, Kai, Hirose) Hirose K, Satyamitra , Winters )

En lärdom som Ukraina tagit av detta är att detaljerad information om vad som gäller för jodprofylax finns tillgänglig innan ett eventuellt haveri och det är en hög beredskap med jodtabletter, bland annat genom leveranser från EU.

Jod passerar placentan och koncentreras från vecka 11 och den största ökningen sker från vecka 24. Tillräcklig nivå av sköldkörtelhormon är avgörande för den neurokognitiva utvecklingen. (Valentin, Rydén I, Greene-Schloesser, Kalm, Boström, Ding, Wang H, Palmer ) Djurförsök kan utforska summationseffekter av strålning och hjärnskadefaktorer som nikotin. (Buratovic, Bellés, Hall, Belli,Brudecki, Cantabella) Miljögifter som adderas till Cesium137, jod 131 och andra isotoper kan därför ge hjärnskadeeffekter i doser som enskilt inte skulle skada. (Heredia,  Heredia L, Hong)

Med lågt jod i berggrunden där jodberikat salt inte används, är det väl utforskat hur nedsatt produktion av sköldkörtelhormon gör att det föds en högre andel barn med intellektuella funktionsnedsättningar. (Yadav, Wang T , Adibi) Mulder)

Om sköldkörtelhormon minskas på grund av radioaktivt jod får det samma konsekvens. Almond, Heiervang, Bernal, Igumnov , Linet , Fushiki , Loganovsky KN, Nowakowski RS , Nyagu, Loganovskaja, Loganovsky, Sreetharan, Babenko, Fedirko , Fedirko P, Loganovsky KM, Babenko TF, Drozdovitch V, Brent, Stepanova , Kolominsky , Bazyka, Loganovsky 20, Bazyka, Bazyka DA, Bazyka D, Loganovsky Volovik, Drostovitch Minenko, Chan,Panisi, Bilbrey,Fong, Nilsson) Jod 131 avger mest betastrålning och en mindre del gammastrålning. Blockad av jod131 är väsentligt både för modern och fostret. Den mängd kaliumjodid som fordras inom 12 timmar är väl belagd. (Rump , Rump A  Eder, Kim SY, Yauseyenka, Yamashita, Reiners, Ostroumova E, Drostovitch Minenko, Cleró, O´Kane, Masiuk )

Även bröstmjölk och komjölk anrikar radioaktivt jod och bör undvikas i ett nedfallsområde.(Unno, Miller, Linet, Fushiki) .

Genom att den biologiska halveringstiden av jod 131 är så kort, och anrikningen i sköldkörteln är så stor, så lämpar sig jod 131 väl för användning inom medicinsk behandling. Samtidigt är det inte helt lätt att hantera lättflyktigt jod, så gravid personal kan inte vistas på arbetsplatsen. (Sase , Aaseth, Nakajima) Vid både Tjernobyl och Fukushimahaverierna saknades effektiv utdelning av jodtabletter. (Drozdovitch, Afanasiev , Pelling, González, Uddin GMB, Calcaterra, Obrador, Lekurwale) Den korta halveringstiden och lättflyktigheten har också i samband med Tjernobyl och Fukushima visat sig innebära en nackdel i och med att det är svårt att få in tillräckligt med mätvärden i de områden som drabbas på grund av snabbt växlande metereologiska faktorer. En del av de som evakuerades i Fukushima hamnade i områden med mer nedfall. Genomförande i en krigszon kan bli mycket svårt. Både de som skall utföra mätningarna och räddningsinsatserna har enligt IAEA GSR Part 7 rätt att vägra om radioaktiviteten överstiger en effektiv dos med 50 mSv. Ett av problemen kommer att vara att tillräckligt med mätresultat förmodligen kommer att saknas. Av de 11.000 ukrainare som arbetade på Zaporizjzja är det nu bara 4500 kvar som får arbeta under en extrem press. Det är bara 2500 som påtvingats kontrakt av Rosatom för fortsatt arbete under fortsatt ockupation. Faran för haveri i Zaporizjzjaanläggningen var överhängande mellan mars och september 2022. De ryska ockupanterna åsidosatte alla de 7 grundpelarna för kärnkraftssäkerhet. Ställverket, den centrala administrationsbyggnaden, mätutrustning och taket på en av reaktorerna träffades och den ingående elförsörjning skadades flera gånger. Lagret för högaktivt avfall höll på att träffas med bara några meters marginal. En ukrainsk dykare som vägrade att tömma en av vattenreservoarerna dödades. Enerhodar, där personalen och deras familjer bor, var tillfälligt utan el- och vattenförsörjning. Putin förberedde i september sin hemmafront med propagandan om att Ukraina planerade att sabotera anläggningen och att Ukraina förberedde en smutsig bomb. En tydlig varning om vad diktatorn kan ta till om han tvingas till reträtt. Även fast observatörer från IAEA är på kärnkraftverket finns begränsade möjligheter att kunna fastställa vad som orsakar ett eventuellt haveri. Det finns incitament för ockupationsarmén att sätta igång verket för att säkra elförsörjningen till anläggningen och leverera el till det Zaporizjzjalän, som den anser vara en del av Ryssland. IAEA:s förslag om en skyddad zon godtas inte av någondera parten. Putin laddar för offensiv och Rosatom är på plats för att kunna starta kärnkraftverket som en del av den ryska energiförsörjningen. Faran för ett haveri med de begränsade räddningsresurser som kriget innebär finns redan nu för de tre kärnkraftsanläggningar som är drift i Ukraina.

När IAEA bildades 1957 fanns det omfattande kunskap om stråldoser och cancer både från olyckor och från medicinska tillämpningar. Det har sedan inte behövts några större justeringar av de nivåer på stråldoser som finns i IAEA GSR Part 7.

Kunskaperna om hjärnans utveckling och beroende av det endokrina systemet var rudimentärt 1957 i förhållande till idag. Kunskapen saknades då helt om hjärnans eget immunsystem och hur viktigt immunsystemet är för att tillsammans med det endokrina systemet utveckla hjärnan. Den forskning som görs angående vad som skadar hjärnans utveckling har en mycket bred bas. Genom, epigenom, transkriptom, lipidom, inflammasom, metabolom, proteom och automatiserade laborotoriemetoder i samverkan med en enorm beräkningskraft är exempel på det. Cellkulturer har utvecklat även till hjärnorganoider som i realtid kan tränga in i hur hjärnan organiserar sina neuron och gliaceller. Detaljer om påverkan vad gäller bland annat överdriven oxidativ stress, inflammation och störningar av endokrina och immunologiska system ger en allt klarare bild av vad som sker på molekylär nivå.

På 50-talet var det svårt att föreställa sig plastproduktionens utveckling (Geyer) och den mängd ämnen som tagits fram för att förbättra plastens egenskaper, varav många visat sig vara hormonstörande (Bergman, Tanner, Larsson, Gore. Gilbert,Salazar, Gingrich, Cediel-Ulloa, Bornehag, Engdahl, Gennings, Fournier, Leemans, Chao, O'Shaughnessy KL, Caporale, O'Shaughnessy KL, Fischer, Rosenfeld, Krönke, Ghassabian, Predieri, Köhrle, Gallegos, Streifer, Bartos, Jensen, Julvez, Hilz, Vandenberg, Walker, Reis, Serra,  Kisby, Lopez, Landi, Lite, Altenburger, Lampa, Boesen, Brouwer, Builee, de Souza,  Gerona ) Chen, O'Shaughnessy )

Mängden mikro- och nanoplaster har ökat i människokroppen och plasterna bär med sig potent hormonstörande ämnen. Forskningen om hur nanoplastpartiklar når fostret har bara börjat, men de ingår i en ökad belastning. (Ullah S, Teuten,. Khan, Ragusa, Lopez , Liu, Chen, Segovia, Martinho, Song, Oliviera YM, Siri)

Förberedelserna pågår för att utkämpa ett krig om ett kärnkraftsområde. Strålsäkerhetsmyndigheten bör informera riksdagen om att det är akut att genomföra ”Vissa frågor om hälso- och sjukvårdens försörjningsberedskap Proposition 2022/23:45”. Apotek Produktion & Laboratorier AB bör omgående ordna tillräcklig lagerberedskap med jodtabletter över hela landet. De föreslagna lagändringarna om vidareutdelning av jodtabletter behöver införs omgående.

Det går inte att utesluta ett radioaktivt nedfall från Ukraina som kräver beredskap över ett stort område. SSM skickade jodtabletter till ambassaden i Tokyo och med tanke på hur snabbt svenska medborgare skall nås av jodprofylax vid nedfall bör svenska ambassader redan nu vara förberedda i ett stort antal länder.

Det är med nödvändighet svårt att göra beräkningar angående saker som aldrig skett tidigare. Det finns anledning att ta höjd för vad som kan ske när militära styrkor kämpar om kärnkraftverk. Det bör finnas en säkerhetsmarginal för den sammanlagda effekten av radioaktivt jod och mixen av hormonstörande ämnen. Vid tidigare kärnkraftskatastrofer har man inte haft beredskap att utnyttja kunskapen om jodprofylax men om det händer igen måste det fungera.

Effektiv prevention med jodtabletter innebär att förankra kunskapen om vad alla inblandade kan bidra med för att skydda riskgruppen innan en olycka inträffar och optimera de praktiska förutsättningarna för genomförandet.

The Curated UltraLuxe Singapore Fest Returns

The UltraLuxe Singapore festival, a 10-day event featuring curated jewels, precious stones, timepieces, designers, including from India, edu-tainment and more is set to make a comeback this October. Here’s a preview outlined by Richa Goyal Sikri.

According to the 2021 Global Wealth Report by Credit Suisse Group, Singapore may have 437,000 millionaires by 2025 compared with 270,000 in 2020: a jump of ~62%. While other nations could boast of higher absolute figures, Singapore has the second highest density of millionaires in Asia at 5.5%. All based on an island where you can drive from one end to the other in forty minutes. And where there is wealth, there is patronage for the finer indulgences of life.

The country has successfully transitioned from being one of the most cautious during the pandemic, to one that is hungry to recapture its status as a regional hub. Singapore is open for work and play bringing back much-loved events such as the iconic Formula One race, top-notch entertainment, and the return of JeweLuxe, a curated jewellery show that has been an essential part of the country’s winter calendar of events.

This year, JeweLuxe will be part of a one-of-a-kind luxury festival, aptly named UltraLuxe, which will also debut the Singapore Watch Show. The festival will be held from 21st-30th October inside a plush, air-conditioned marquee at Ngee Ann City on Orchard Road, home to the internationally renowned Takashimaya department store. The ten-day affair will be an amalgamation of the best in fashion, jewellery, watches, and precious stones. Additionally, the festival will also offer a schedule of talks, panel discussions, demonstrations, and fashion shows featuring an array of subject-matter experts in design, gemstones, timepieces, fashion, and culture.

There are two clear segments of UltraLuxe: JeweLuxe for jewellery, and the Singapore Watch Show for spectacular timepieces.

Within JeweLuxe, designers have been organised across two editions: Icons & Legacies from 21st-25th October, and Wonders & Passions from 26th-30th October.

As the name suggests, Icons features jewellery designers whose work is recognisable, distinctive, and stretches the boundaries of convention in the art of jewellery making. Some examples include State Property, The Jewel Box, An Order of Bling who will launch a new collection at the show, from Singapore. From India, the exhibitors include Masterstrokes, with creations blending precious stones with enamelling, Umrao, bringing modern interpretation of vintage style, and the new and up-coming brand Tichu. Other Asian designers include Kavant & Sharart, Mousson Atelier, and Shelly by Dynasty. Rota E Rota celebrate interchangeability with their edgy designs, along with Zydo from Italy. Representing the Americas is the celebrated Silvia Furmanovich, and her superb creations in marquetry, Daria De Koning and Kimberly McDonald’s, with their mesmerising creations featuring an array of gemstones, and geodes.

The Legacy part of the first edition includes jewellery collections with rare gemstones, coloured diamonds, highly valued, historic techniques in artisanship, contained within high jewellery creations, which the organisers believe will stand the test of time and value appreciation. Some names include, SICIS from Italy who bring the ancient art of micro mosaic to high jewellery, home-grown brand Caratell, TENZO who beautifully blends intrinsic value with quality craftsmanship and design. First time participant FREYA brings a delightful collection of jewels featuring unusual shapes and styles of diamonds. Other participants include diamond specialist MORCHA, Infiniti Jewels, YOEL DEIL from Israel, Renee Jewellers from the UAE, to name a few. Floral and architectural creations abound in the second edition of JeweLuxe titled ‘Wonders & Passions’ from 26th-30th October featuring GEMAYEL from Lebanon, Dejade from Hong Kong, Leonori from Italy among others.

wat betekent vrijheid voor jou vervolg

2006 wat een heerlijk gevoel, huis weg en dus zelfs geld over wat een mooie bijkomstigheid! Wat heb ik daarmee gedaan? Uiteraard een stukje vrijheid kopen, inplaats van vijf dagen werken werden het er vier, altijd lang weekend wat een genot. Ik voelde mij enorm rijk met mijn nieuwe leventje. In een Chalet van 11 x 3,5 meter voelde wij ons de koning te rijk. Iedereen verklaarde ons voor gek. Je hebt toch een huis nodig, een dak boven je hoofd? Natuurlijk zeiden wij dan, we hebben toch ook een dak boven ons hoofd. Het voelde zo fijn om dat betonnen blok ballast kwijt te zijn, ik riep meteen dat ik nooit meer in de beton zou gaan wonen.

In 2010 ging onze zoon het nest verlaten en kocht, je raad het al een huisje op een camping. Op deze camping mocht je 365 dagen recreatief aanwezig zijn, dus hij hoefde niet in de winter door de weeks eraf, iets wat wij wel altijd moesten. We besloten om voor hem kosten te besparen dat we in de winter bij hem introkken, dit was voor ons een feest! Fijn om weer met z'n drieën te zijn.

Deze camping was in het bos in tegenstelling tot onze camping die aan het water was. Het voelde goed en het was fijn om al te weten waar we de volgende winter zouden zijn. Dan besluit in 2013 onze zoon om dichter bij zijn werk te gaan wonen en komt zijn huisje vrij, uiteraard hebben wij meteen het huisje gekocht en zo hadden wij een huisje in het bos, heel gelukkig en tot afgelopen jaar riep ik altijd, ik hoef hiet nooit meer weg, ik blijf hier tot mijn dood. Maar het bloed kruipt waar het niet gaan kan.....

2015 ik kom met een burnout thuis te zitten en krijg van de psycholoog het advies om alleen maar leuke dingen te doen. Nu dat is voor iemand al ik een leuke opdracht, ik ging knutselen tot diep in de nacht en besloot om een oude droom weer op te pakken en verder uit te werken. In 2006 toen wij het huis eruit deden had ik namelijk een voorstel gedaan om in de winter als wij van de camping af moesten, we in een camper zouden gaan leven gewoon op straat. Dit kon mijn man niet verwerken, het idee werd meteen van tafel geveegd 🤣 nu dus 9 jaar later wist ik dat ik uit mijn burnout kon komen als ik mijn gevoel van vrijheid naar een hoger level kon tillen. Zo gezegd zo gedaan, ik trok mijn man mee naar Veenendaal om naar een camper te kijken. Eindelijk, oktober 2015 is het een feit we hebben een camper! Ik plan meteen een reis, we gaan een maand naar Portugal naar de Algarve. Uren dagen vertoef ik op het internet om overal te kijken en een mooi plekje uit te zoeken, Portimao wordt het en de kers op de taart... we gaan met z'n drieën 😄 zoon lief gaat mee. Mijn stress verdween toen ik weer een stukje vrijheid rook. Toen we augustus 2016 in Portugal aankwamen en ik op mijn blote voeten in een nachthemd met de oceaan achter mij en de twee mannen die alles voor mij betekenen bij mij, toen precies toen de tranen springen in mijn ogen als ik het schrijf, toen voelde ik mij echt vrij! De gelukkigste mens op aarde, op het randje van Portugal met achter mij oneindige natuur, puur geluk.

Gedachten

In die tijd dat ik nog naar mijn tandarts kon lopen is het geweest dat ik mij afvroeg of Koning Winter toch wel heel oud geworden was. Kon hij zijn taken niet meer aan? En waar zou die strenge vorst toch in hemelsnaam resideren? Die afgezanten die hij nu naar ons gestuurd had en waarschijnlijk moesten oefenen voor de taak als toekomstig monarch, brouwden er helemaal niets, maar dan ook totaal niets van. Die sukkels waren overduidelijk voor hun taken gediskwalificeerd.

Het was al halverwege februari en elk etmaal werd je bij een graad of 10, ook nog boven 0, geteisterd door enorme winden en als dat dan een keer niet op het menu stond dan regende het wel pijpestelen. Afijn al liggend op de stoel in de behandelkamer van de tandarts, waar het in de loop der jaren trouwens steeds fijner is geworden om op te liggen, verdwenen mijn gedachten aan Koning Winter meer en meer. Zoals altijd was mijn tandarts, een Duitser, weer erg aardig, na vijf minuten was het gepiept. Alles was goed, en hoewel die stoel dus wel verdomd lekker lag, was ik ook wel blij daar de komende tijd niet weer te vertoeven. Niet wetende dat je een paar weken helemaal niet meer naar een tandarts kunt! Ja in China was inmiddels al een paar weken een lockdown gaande, edoch niemand had hier toch verwacht dat de wereld zeer rapide zo op z’n kop zou gaan staan.

Onlangs fietste ik door Rijssen en daar sprak een oudere man op een fiets tegen zichzelf: “Noh doar b’ij dan mooi kloar met”,....inderdaad.

Iemand die er nog niet klaar mee was bleek Koning Winter te zijn, was hij dan toch nog teruggekomen. Hoe ironisch is het net zomertijd geworden, was het begin deze week meteen -7°, ach ja het is een monarch op gevorderde leeftijd, zal wel te kampen hebben met ouderdomskwalen..., misschien moet hij toch eens naar mijn collega. Tegen hem zei ik eens toen ik hem nog niet zo goed kende bij het stallen van zijn tweewieler dicht bij de mijne in het fietsenhok in Almelo, na een enerverende werkdag “zo weer een dag eerder bij ons pensioen”, waarop hij antwoordde “zeg dat wa, als dat zo verdan geet kan 'k hier ok wa bliem'n, ik werk bie de geriatrie.”

Helaas heb ik hem de laatste dagen niet weer gezien. Altijd fijn om met hem een praatje te maken, en dat hij bij het verlaten dan zeg: “wie trapt ‘m an.” Dus trapte ik ‘m de vorige dagen maar alleen an. Hoeveel- en vaak ik ook fiets, mij overkomen telkens nieuwe ontdekkingen. Op de laatste dag van maart werd ik opeens getroffen door triestigheid. Had ik het maar niet gedaan. Ik fietste over de Oude Markt. Het altijd zo gezellig kloppende hart van Enschede. En daar de alle overheersende verlatenheid aan te treffen...daar waar je nu anders deze dagen op een terras een teug van een heerlijke Belgische pint tot je zou nemen terwijl je naar de mensen kijkt.

Uiteraard wat zou ik anders aangetroffen hebben dan een plein waar het spookt? Maar confronterend was het wel, en toen, ja toen zag ik dat beeld weer voor me, dat beeld dat glimlacht! Eerder die dag zag ik het bij de kerk in Lonneker beschenen worden, omgeven door de schaduw van de nog kale bomen die op de toren door de late namiddagzon geprojecteerd werden. Het was Santiago. In Nederland bekend als Jacobus de Meerdere, één der apostelen van Jezus. De patroonheilige van het zo heftig getroffen Spanje.

Hetgeen kunstenaars scheppen heeft toch vaak een louterende werking, zoals ook het lied van de Spaanse zanger Alex Ubago. 'A gritos de esperanza’, 'een schreeuw van hoop’, eigenlijk een liefdesverklaring: “Voor jou en mij zijn er zoveel momenten en passies om te leven. Aan jouw zijde, oh mijn leven aan jouw zijde.”

Waar ik deze dagen ook aan moet denken is aan mijn oma, op 5 april zou ze jarig zijn. Wat ik en mijn moeder overigens gemeen hebben, is dat ook haar oma op 5 april jarig was! Het was haar grootmoeder van moeders kant, en naar ik van mijn moeder vernam een erg levendige vrouw. Mijn oma is de moeder van mijn vader. Zij was een lieve zorgzame gastvrije vrouw.

En dan komende week...op 9 april is het twintig jaar geleden dat ik op de dansvloer van een discotheek mijn lieveling tegenkwam, ongetwijfeld werd er toen zoals daar wel vaker ‘lay all your love on me’ van Abba gedraaid.
