This is my first ever picture I ever took using my first camera, a very humble (and rickety) Konica Autoreflex TC, taken around late october of '23 in my advisory class.

Most of my friends questioned me, asking why I would take a picture of a bunch of snacks you find laying around a high school classroom, and I have an answer.

It's funny.

That and this was also a test picture. Thats the closest thing I found laying around that I thought would make a interesting picture, and it is a interesting picture! Not like a "Wow! This is an artistic masterpiece. It belongs in a museum!" interesting, more like a "What the fuck am I looking at?" interesting. The confusion interesting. I can't explain it though, it has a soft spot in my heart and I think, even though its super confusing, it's pretty rad. I like the colors.

youll need an slr camera with a removable lens, i recommend canon since they have the most support generally. i believe a 35mm macro lens will be good for bugs, and a 75-300mm telephoto lens is what i personally use for bird photography iirc. i dont know much about film cameras specifically but a canon film camera SHOULD be able to use regular canon lenses for the most part. sorry for not giving specific recommendations my only film camera is very old lmao, its a Konica autoreflex TC with a 35-70mm lens

I need film camera recommendations that are good for photographing far away birds and close up bugs.. and other such beautiful things..
